Police responded to a call at a grocery store after management requested a man be trespassed from the property. Officers calmly explained that although someone had bought him food, the store no longer wanted him inside. The man immediately became aggressive, yelling, refusing to show a receipt and accusing officers of lying. Despite repeated attempts to deescalate, he threatened police, ignored commands to leave, and continued resisting. When officers attempted to detain him, he fought back and grabbed an officer's taser, discharging it during the struggle. After being restrained, he repeatedly claimed he couldn't breathe and said he had recent surgery. He was arrested and later convicted of battery on a police officer, resisting without violence and trespassing.
