a black vehicle for expired plates and no driver's license at first everything seems routine until the officer smells marijuana coming from the car when asked the driver denies having any drugs the girlfriend girlfriend's where you headed to going home going home okay you got driver's license on anybody no I don't any ID no no IDE any your name on it yeah there you go not a driver license after handing over his ID he made his biggest mistake without even realizing it how can work with that buddy thank you um you got proof of insurance or anything oh not on me that's not even my car no whose you have North final I Mill's identified I have his driver's license and going to be contacting PMP he's on paper for fleeing and loading and I will have charges if they get him go off yours or just Silver City what did they have it's all right I'll give you a phone call 1 hour later the suspect's car in house had been traced and he was apprehended what's going on man I just want to first off apologize to you man hey it's all good all right so you have the right to remain silent anything say can and will be used against you in court you have the right to an attorney if you cannot afford one one will be appointed for you if you decide to answer questions now without an attorney president you still have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to an attorney do you nothing huh yeah man I just want to apologize again okay so once they get um once he gets the keys to the car I'll search the car and then as long as like you said there's nothing in there we'll get you to the jail okay but you got a probation warrant and then you're going to have a new charge from me for the plane so makes sense oh yeah completely understand I just want to apologize again for putting you in any type of harm any it's not really like I mean your driving behaviors will put other people in harm not me man I I'm not chasing it for the smallow marijuana I mean some days I might but not today I mean you and as soon as I saw your Brak lights go on I knew you were going so it's not our first rodeo right yeah so I appreciate being cooperative with these guys though um I just Miranda that's what he said yeah I could smell through the window the officers begin searching the car for marijuana a blunt or anything suspicious I'm sure whatever he had he did got some CLE in here I [ __ ] up they were all going to that uh trying to help County with theirs and so I didn't expect to have anyone else so I asked him to step out and he took off I was going to ask him to step out he took off before I could ask you [Applause] oh um we're took get in the apartment yeah when him and when got here she came to the door and said he was in the bathroom so at Le find him I'm on paper I'm flushing stuff I'm getting least did do diligence that we check top the trunk trunk Swit it's not working did you want to do one quick walk through his apartment I I mean she's not the most uncooperative she's not she's just kind of playing wishy-washy games like oh there's a lot going on so I I don't know where I put the keys and like I know you do Tomy I don't want to break yeah we can chased you I even told my buddy that was trying to help me find the car before we knew you came back here that uh uh I was like he was a chill dude I told me I could work with his license status and the next thing I know he's taking off on me yeah let's split the section up decision I panicked is it cuz I asked you about the order yeah I should have waited till I had somebody to get you out of the car first which I usually do you have taking off then no I would have fac it like a man then if I told you to get out a car yeah nothing I can do then my damn sure didn't want to run this point to be honest I just figured I run away I was going to turn myself in Monday I didn't want to sit over the weekend you didn't have to go to jail tonight buddy yeah unless there's something in the car you're not tell me about which then guys already searched it then well yeah you had a lot of time to get rid of whatever you had oh no lot of time to get rid of it [ __ ] man everything in here saying to charge you with felony cuz you already stopped and you increase speed endangering safety CU you were already stopped so you knew I was in uniform telling you to stop I'll just do misdemeanor if they want to change it that's up to them deal I really appreciate that man appreciate you being cooperative I would if you weren't if you weren't cooperative and polite when I got to you I would have done felony and why is your license revoked uh I believe from the last situation did you get an OWI no do you have any olds no I never why'd you run the last time I had um license plates that were not from my vehicle on it and you just took off yeah it was on New Year's and Dr I had a friend in the car you dranking no I don't drink at all no that stuff is gross yeah I agree that's all everybody does here you ever had what you no it'll be the misdemeanor um fleing alluding and your warrant for the jail all right for citations all you're going to get because when we have something like this we kind of get screwed and we have they watch our videos and we have to site for everything yeah so it's going to be for the tinted license plate covers expired registration operating after revocation second offense failure to stop at the stop sign at Thomas and Peters when you took off unreasonable speed for driving well over the speed limit however I didn't get a speed reading so that's why it's unreasonable speed and then reckless driving okay okay all right so you'll have to take care of all them tickets on top of the Court makes sense oh I'll gladly take care of it cuz we don't want you to get warrants and [ __ ] filing up I know what I'm wrong man after informing him of his charges the officer continued to chat casually keeping things cool you got any music you like to listen to on the way it doesn't matter jamming out to something earlier before I stopped you oh swag surfing [Music] get bu tell everyone the same thing once you're inside the jail anything that's on you that I might as a felony is there anything on you braids a hair I Haven had it done in like almost a year it's been like that for a year Dam yeah been thinking about cutting it it's annoying now can't eat how'd you end up here oh I got a good job first working there for next 5 years and I switched up it's easier living get away from all the ring and then crying you grow up in Brooklyn uh off and on I grew up in Memphis Tennessee also okay I left there when I was 18 and I went to New York left down I was like 25 24 something like that what made you go to New York from Memphis I 18 what made you do that though I got shot in Memphis Yeah gang crime out there lot of so why New York though I a lot of family there that's where my family's originally from kind of migrated to Memphis I always hated Afghanistan for reason we involved in whatever caus the shooting no I got Rob I was a pretty flashy guy up like designer [ __ ] flashy carard you have that down there some people just like to take it that's what they did I got shot for a hat a watch and a phone I shot on my side tried to kill me left me there it's a different world man mhm trying to keep it in my pths I'm sure they didn't get charged right now oh no they're all dead now right yeah do you know who did it no I was like maybe like 10 years after once you live that type of life it's was going to eventually catch up with you and I heard they got killed by some women they they stole some women's cars but the women had guns and they shot their own car and killed them jeez no I mean like did you know the guys that did too oh
