The woman was clearly in no condition to care for a child. She couldn't even stand properly. Several times she nearly collapsed due to her unsteady steps. The officers were undoubtedly keeping the entire incident fresh in their minds. It was obvious she had completely failed to care for her child and without a doubt she was going to face a severe punishment for it. You don't want to break nobody's heart. I I never want to. If your mom can be your name, your daddy can be a name. I'm not going to hurt you. She see she's not she tries. This is your your child. Yeah. What's your name? Huh? What is your name? The woman didn't seem to have any tension at all, but her slurred voice and broken sentences were creating danger only for herself. She kept asking the officer for their name repeatedly, as if it were some kind of secret court or as if she were the head of a department ready to get the investigating officers fired just based on knowing their names. Can you tell me though, please? S H How do you Huh? How old are you? 26. How are you? I'm 34. How do you 24? Is it shallow? You want to write it down for me? Go ahead. I count my grandma over here. All right. Come on. Go. Get your phone. [Music] when you're facing a big leader down the track. Yeah. So, know first he was going to try to MTA. No, no, no. So, he's like, "All right, let me see if I can get some contacts." He's like, "Just be blunt and be like, "Hey, listen. I just got to get her name. There's no game. Where you from? I'm from right here. The woman was so foolish that she treated the entire investigation like a game. It seemed as if nothing held any real value for her. Officers repeatedly asked her for information about the grandmother, hoping to ensure the baby's custody would be placed in safe hands. But this woman appeared determined to head straight toward a disastrous outcome. Where are you from? Right here. Grandma, we're trying to. We need her phone number. No, y'all are playing with me. We need her phone number to call. No, you're faking with me, bro. There's no faking. Take this phone. Okay. Call that on your phone. What's her name in your phone? Whoever you find that phone, what's what's your number? What's your password? 550588. 55588. Okay. Now, what's your grandma's name? I don't [ __ ] know. My grandma. I have a great grandma. Is he going to take my daughter to jail? I do not want to take your child to DCFS, but if I have to, I will. So, I want to get one of your family members. Can't take him to jail. Are you listening to what I'm telling you? Are you listening to what I'm telling you? Okay. You have liquor in this room. It took me a while just to wake you up. You're not going to give us the code to this anymore? I'll give you that. The woman's behavior kept getting worse by the minute. She was clearly under the influence of heavy alcohol use, but her main concern should have been her baby. Instead, she showed absolutely no care for the child. She had already plunged into an intense argument with the officers as if winning that argument had become her only goal. Get these out my room. I got my Get the out my room. You trying to make me keep being cool with I'm not cool with I'm not cool with nobody, [ __ ] I'm not cool with nobody. Well, you're not going to give us the code. Okay. Y Okay. Okay. Okay. Look. Oh my, bro. I don't I I don't I don't see any shoes anywhere. If they're not there in the bags or something, then I don't see them. Last chance. Do you have shoes? I'm not seeing them. Okay, let's go. Put my foot on my feet. What the is you talking about? Come on. My feet. I don't see it. My baby's not that crazy. I'm scared. No. [Music] No, I'm not seeing any. So, you get my baby, bro. You're about to get my baby. My baby, bro. My baby get 22. Give my baby. My baby. My baby. Promise. Give my baby. Walk. Get my baby. Walk. We'll be calling somebody for your baby. Okay. Okay. My baby. Thankfully, the officers took the woman into custody and it was one of their most important decisions. She truly deserved it. Surely inside the jail, she might just win the most terrible mother of the year award, considering how she showed absolutely no concern for her own child. How could a mother ignore the cries of her suffocating baby just to stay drunk and unconscious? I'm afraid to see my baby faster, huh? nursery. Oh yeah. My baby, bro. What did you say? Bro, please get my baby. Can I get my baby? Huh? Search real quick. My baby. Stupid ass [ __ ] All right, have a seat. Don't touch me, bro. in the room and that probably door just locked on us. But so he's transporting for the warrant and then uh do what? All right, we're trying Ruff just gave me some new numbers, but when I have to call. So what do we have as far as how long baby was by herself, right? Yes. She was passed out. She was passed out in the room by herself. One of the employees was holding the baby when I got to the room saying that he opened the room, went in. How long was baby? You guys are good. As soon as you can just get her going. I need uh here. I'm adding It's on the ticket, but I'm adding I'm adding battery to PO. She kicked me like five times and I told her stop. Okay. Uh I'm trying to get the details of what you're doing engaging you. Promise. Uh so I'll I'll radio you. Got you. So, so yeah, as as far as time frame of how long baby was one, we could ask the worker figure that we're trying exact positioning of the baby. Okay. How old is it? We haven't got a name on it, but it has to be not even a year old. Not even a year old. Yeah, it doesn't look like it. Okay. If it's definitely not past two. So, hello. the employee that I I know I didn't speak with you, but the employee that was up there with the baby. Okay. In 210, is he here? Uh, yes. So, got some liquor bottles in the room. Empty. How long? She smell of alcohol. I got you. When you made contact, was she out? Cold. She's al on the bed. Yeah. Was took the baby. Same bed. He was remember the employee had the baby in the hallway. Oh, okay. Is there two beds or one bed? Two beds. Two beds. Okay. Okay. The employee that I spoke with. No, he left. He left for the day. Yeah. Okay. Um, well, he was just there for When did you first find out about the baby? Like when did uh uh one person came here to tell you about the baby crying? Right. What time? Uh as soon as we re exactly when you called the police. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. As he said, uh, my colleague went to the despite the woman's continuous resistance, the officers successfully managed to escort her to the police vehicle. The officers truly deserved appreciation as handling this woman was an extremely difficult task. Honestly, it felt less like an arrest and more like trying to catch a wild chicken on energy drinks. uh room to check whether he is c is it uh legit complaint or not to verify it. So he was standing outside the door and he informed me he called me and he said that uh hey I'm at the baby is really crying called the police. Mhm. And explain them the situation. So I call You call police? Yeah. I call 911 and explain the So, initially it was uh another customer who called say the baby was crying. Yeah. Another person called you. Yeah. You send the employee there. He says, "Hey, the baby's crying really bad." You call police. Yes. And then that's I come soon after, but he goes into the room to check the baby. Okay. And then he left. Okay. Can I get your name, please? Or your ID if you have it? Hey, Mr. Thomas. Hey, this is Officer Cologne. I was the one who came to the room when you were here with the baby. Um, if you got a quick minute. Okay. When you came up here, your or the other employee, I don't know if he's your manager or whatnot, but Ahmed, he said he got a notification from other patrons that the baby was crying. He had you come up here to come check on the baby. You said, "Hey, the baby's crying really bad." You told him he called the police and then you entered the room to check on the baby, right? What did you see when you come when you came in? Can you just explain it? When I walked in, the uh the baby was screaming and crying and the pillow was like on her face. So, the baby was laying down on the bed. Yes. Was it on the bed that the mother was on or the other bed? The other bed. The other bed by itself then. Okay. Yes. Yes. And so the pillow was the baby was laying down on its back. The uh Yes. The baby was laying on its side. On his side. Um Yeah. And the pillow was on the fa on the face. The pillow was covering the face on the left hand side. It was covering the left uh her left cheek. Her left cheek. Yes. Okay. Almost like over and was trying to get up and couldn't. So the baby rolled over on its side and the pillow was covering half the face. Yes. Okay. Gotcha. And then you came in, grabbed the baby, and then I grabbed the baby and I tried to wake the lady up. Um, but she wouldn't wake up as like how you did it when you walked there. Okay. So, you try to wake her up and she wouldn't wake up either. Yes, sir. All right. And then you exit the room and that's when I came. Yep. Okay, perfect. Okay. Okay. Do we have any paperwork that like from a hospital or anything? From OSF, but it doesn't have any information on it. Okay. That means that she's been to OSF. They're code for here. Will you go to OSF with promises name and date of birth and her full name? Just say all we have to protect custody, but we don't have all evidence and statements related to the woman were being collected so that she could be punished according to legal requirements. Was a mother in such a condition any less than a danger to her innocent child? All proceedings were being carried out to ensure that no injustice would take place. I guess she gave you Did she give you you said the date of birth? 129 and 21. Okay. based off of the issue date, but well the issue dates within what usually they do that uh it's usually cuz they have a certain amount of dates you just turn it in. So it might make sense. She's telling me how old she is. one talking. Okay. Nothing else. Yeah, that's the only thing that hit these names. Okay. So, uh, DCS should be in route. I have CPD check in the dad's address. The dad will be RP. It's also the same location for a whole bunch of domestics with her. I think the last one was but that's obviously different. But she was married to one point to a guy named Eric whatever Perez. Yeah. So photo us. We're good here until DCFS. Her ID is in there if you wanted to take it. And you got Who's mom? Yeah, I promise. Cuz it spelled different. Why? Yeah, she was really mad about that. Uh, that's how I smelled it. Okay. Her card is different. She said she's mad because she was given that name with So, she also said her name was Britney. Mhm. She thought she knew she had a warrant. Uh, that was Oh, maybe. She just said that she was mad that was her name. Yeah. You know what? I didn't even I had come like told her, "Oh, your name's Promise, right?" She's like, "Yeah, because they I asked their her name first, you know." So, yeah. So, run to OSF real quick. We're good here. And if we make contact with family, we'll figure out that way we can pass it along to DCFS. But we've already got the DCFS bulb rolling. Um cuz if she's got guardianship, unless she says that dad can take her, uh we're not we won't hand her to anybody. Okay. So, all right. Um All right. No plan. [Music] She likes thumbs. Yeah. It's just a thumb. Mhm. Yeah. So, go ahead. Let's head to OSF and get that. See if they got any info on this child. I'm going to try really, really quick to stop by Domino's and pick up this food that's been waiting for a long time. If that's all right. Yeah. Really quickly. answer. If they still have it. Yeah, right. You're good. So, go ahead and do that really quickly. Yep. After completing all the initial paperwork, the woman was also offered medical clearance at the hospital. Once all legal procedures were finalized, she was transported to jail, a place that truly reflected where she belonged and what she deserved. Her careless actions had not only endangered her own child, but also exposed her complete disregard for basic parental responsibility, leaving no doubt that justice had to take its course. The woman was charged with child neglect and battery on an officer. So, in the end, if you enjoyed the video, hit that like button and drop your thoughts in the comments.
