Officers with Florida Fish and Wildlife were on patrol when they made contact with a vessel to conduct a resource inspection. He's trying to avoid us. Sit down, Fred. Yes, sir. So far, guys, y'all have two legal ones so far. Both of the bass is legal, too. Right, so you got two legal snapper, mangrove snapper, and you've got one legal bass. So, guys, while I'm looking through these fish, what I need to know is when we asked if you had any fish, you said no. Why is that? Let's Let's be honest here, guys, cuz this goes a long way. So, understand this in in in Florida, this can be a major violation. Yeah. Which is like straight to jail. Like I want I want straight up honesty at this point. So, what's up? You got to get an app like this. I doubt you guys take this boat 9 mi out. It's more for like the It's more for like your bigger like catamarans here that Six. 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 44. Are y'all on anchor right now? Okay. The issue you got to handle this at the courthouse is dealing with this, okay? So, y'all were, you know, eight times over the the bag limit, and then also in your possession a lot of those fish. Each one of them can be a violation. This is only the four we have right here, okay? All the same thing, 3724 at the at North 110 North Poplar Ave in Inverness. It's the exact same place he's got to go at the same time, okay? All I need from you, sir, is just a signature right there saying you received the the copy of the citation. It's not admission of guilt. It just says to handle it on that date and time. All right, you got everything, James? Yep. Do y'all both have your driver's licenses back and everything? In the end, both individuals were charged with two counts of harvesting or possessing more than five mangrove snapper and two counts of possessing mangrove snapper less than 10 in. Fred pled no contest, and Larry pled guilty. Their adjudication was withheld, and they were each ordered to pay $742 in costs and fees, which they promptly paid.
