On January 21st, 2026, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to a location in reference to a missing juvenile. When police arrived, they found the mother sitting on the curb of someone else's property with another younger child beside her. As officers attempted to gather basic information needed to locate the missing juvenile, including a full name, date of birth, and clothing description, they noted that she was unable to provide clear details and was not cooperating with the investigation. You need to tell me where your daughter is before you go to jail. >> Take me to jail and then send him to DCF. That's fine. >> Legally, I know enough. >> Don't Don't you jail touch my son. >> Ma'am, >> call my brother. Can you can you >> just take a deep breath? Okay. We're here for the well-being and and welfare of your children. >> Yes. My daughter is having anxiety attack and you guys are attacking me. That's why I stop here because she's under distress. We are in an area that she hasn't been, you know, she's not feeling the well and she's feeling uncomfortable because she has to go with her dad tomorrow and her dad is named Dwight. Junior. Okay. >> She has to go there because we have split coy. So she's already under. So what I do, I make sure when she's around me, I make sure that she has fun. She has chill mode. She has when she gets anxiety, I sit her and I I come from where we go and I make sure that she makes sure that she sees people who are. She hates being over there, but nevertheless, the court or the the court order the the court orders her to be there. So when she gets overwhelmed, I get overwhelmed, my son gets overwhelmed, we get overwhelmed. So what I do, I sit down and then she sometimes have to I don't force her to be around him. She doesn't even want to be his address is off of Atlantic Avenue cuz he lives with his mother >> and thinking and and now my daughter is going to be >> the black female. We are 10 12 extremely signal too. So we're trying to get 14. Now it's disappointing. But now I am once again in another my daughter is afraid of all of this. >> Okay, let me ask you a question, man, real quick. Um, what's your first name? >> Tammy. T A M E I E >> Tammy. >> I just >> 54. Sorry. I E. >> What's your last name? What's your daughter's name? >> Tama. >> 54. >> What's your date of birth? >> Do you know what she's wearing? >> And do you not want us to find your daughter? Okay. >> You not want us to find your daughter? >> I do. >> That's what I'm saying. So why are you telling them back to tell me? >> Because at the same time I know that sometimes when people hear something from they misunderstood cuz I know at this point everything I say can and will be used against me in the court of law. Everything's recorded. >> Forget about the court of law right now. We're trying to find your daughter's >> right. And he doesn't know anything more than I do at this exact moment. Right. telling me you're telling him not to tell me that. >> Yes. Because anything that he could potentially say could potentially be used against me because >> we're not worried about court right now. >> Yes. I'm very much worried. >> You're right. You're more worried about court than what your daughters is. >> Absolutely. I'm not. But I know my baby. She just had a moment. >> I know. But where is your baby? That's what we're trying to figure out. >> Exactly. He doesn't know. He said that the first thing that he asked you as >> What's your name, pal? >> Okay. >> Talk to me, ma'am. >> Talk to talk to me. What's your name, pal? >> Ma'am, talk to me. >> We're here to help. >> What was your daughter? >> What's your first name? >> What was your daughter? >> Get this out of my way, please. >> Yes, I will. What was your daughter? Just hold it right there. What was your daughter wearing last? Do you remember? >> Absolutely. I know. >> She's somewhere in there. >> I know, but what is she wearing? >> She's uncomfortable right now. >> No, her clothes. You know her clothes? >> Absolutely. So close. >> Can somebody call my brother? >> Do you know the phone number? >> Very cool. 561. 561. >> You don't want to tell me. >> 561. >> You don't want to tell me your name? >> 561. >> You forgot your name. >> Sit on. >> What do you think your name is? >> I don't remember anything now cuz I was trying to comply with your address. >> It's not your I'm trying to find your dog. >> I am as well. You're not cuz you're sitting here drunk. >> I'm not drunk. Are you kidding me? That is so disrespectful. >> Wait, wait, wait. Did you Did you guys hear what he's just saying? >> Yeah, I heard it. I heard it. And I think that you're on some sort of substance to be totally honest with you cuz this is this isn't normal behavior, man. We're here focused on >> What's your What's your What's your daughter's first name? >> He's He's asking you a question. >> I'm listening. Did he Did you hear the terminology that he said? What? Can we please know your your daughter's first name? >> I said it already. >> Tamaya. >> Tama. >> How do you spell it? >> Tammy. Two M's I A. Two M I E. >> What's your daughter's? Have you seen that little girl? >> No. >> We're working on that right now. >> Didn't see a little girl walking. >> When I pulled up, I pulled up like literally 5 minutes before you guys did. And I think >> you can ask your boy real quick. See if he saw a girl walking >> or something. >> Little black girl. >> Oh, this just in case they >> He don't want Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> So, listen. So what I was telling you look and mama's I don't mean to be you know but listen so I we do know I don't know that she lives over there but there's a little girl that's right she lives right over here. >> Wait no no no no I'm talking about the person I'm talking about. >> She lives over there. No I'm talking about you. Okay. >> Her. >> Yeah. No no no. Her. She has nothing involved with this. But yeah. So the chick that lives there. I have an older daughter that is >> okay >> and she's not all the way right. I don't know if that little girl belongs over there. >> Where is that little girl like spoken? You see her tonight? >> I don't know her. I don't I never really pay attention to nobody like that. What she saying? >> You're talking about over there, right? >> No, >> the little girl lives somewhere over there. Oh, the little that I'm thinking is right here across the street directly from Oh [ __ ] Everything says 2130. >> Huh? >> No, no, no, no, no. I don't care about that. I said that like 14 times. >> Same last name. >> No. >> What's her last name? >> It's her dad's last name. I mean, >> you don't know it. I don't know her dad. >> Do Do you know her date of birth? >> You can go ahead. Give me a question. >> Bravo for >> mother is extremely uncooperative. She says that the child's first name is Tango Alpha Mike India Alpha. Doesn't know the last name and doesn't remember the date of birth. This is crazy. >> Yeah. >> Yes. This is mommy. >> Call my brother. >> Either signal one or on some sort of 57 cuz she's not making any sense. >> This isn't even their address. >> 681348. >> This isn't even their their address. These people don't even know who. >> Okay. So, what were you? >> Yeah, because I told her that she was being bad >> based on her not based on what she told us. She won't let us speak to her other child here. >> No. because she said that she doesn't she doesn't want us to speak with him in case something he says incriminates her. So I said, "Is that what you're worried about or are you worried about finding your daughter?" >> Please violence. I'll take you. >> Okay. Well, we may usurp the fact that we can't speak with him in just a minute. >> Call my brother or call or take him to DCF. It's okay. I'll come back. >> We need information. My My house keys right there. >> It's fine. >> Let's go. >> Just go in the other side. >> He's going to stay right here. And you're going to go on the other side. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome, man. I need your phone. >> Hey man, I really appreciate you guys. >> Hey, how you doing? >> How you doing? >> I appreciate she's in the car right now. >> I had to talk to Officer Elkins talking. >> Um, would by any chance will we be able to go inside because it's not as windy >> like whatever. Whatever she What's her name? >> Uh Tamia. >> Tama. Okay. >> It's up to you. Like whatever you like. >> Hi. Um can you go ahead and step out the car? We're going to uh talk inside for a couple minutes and then I'mma let you come back out. It's windy, so I rather do it out. Do it in the car. I mean, do it inside if you don't mind. You want Are you eating? Did you want to take that or you good? >> Okay. All right. I'm going to shut this. All right. We're just going to walk in in this way where it's, like I said, it's not as windy if you don't mind. I told you. >> Okay. All right. So, we're going to walk in here. All right. Like I said, we just going to go inside and talk. uh less wind and um yeah that's about it. So I'm off nice. Yes, ma'am. >> They're not here. You want them to be here? You want me to Let me try to get them here for you. >> No. Um, okay. So, just have a seat. All right. So, like I said, I'm um um Officer Elkins. I I'm here because uh I guess we just trying to figure out what happened today with you and your mom and your brother. Um do you mind if I take out a pen and paper and write down um your brother is he just had a birthday? I think he's eight. Yeah. So, where where do y'all live? Do y'all live in Bo or do y'all live in West Palm? >> We live in River. Oh, Rivera, you know the address. >> Um, I know it, but I literally just forgot. >> That's okay. If it comes back to you, then just let you know, just let me know. And then also too, um, so if you're 12, that puts you in what? Sixth grade. >> Seventh grade. >> Seventh grade. Where you go to school? >> As far as today goes, um, like what happened today? Did like did your mom did she pick up from or do you need her somewhere? >> School bus. >> Back to Rivier. >> To West Palm. >> To West Palm for what? for like a afterare or >> No, that's just where my bus stop is. >> Okay. Um, so what happened today? Like if you don't mind, can you walk me through the events? >> So I got to the bus stop, my mom and my brother were talking about something. So they were kind of like ignoring me cuz they were talking about something when they were done. She said we said hi. She like looked at my ID. I didn't like how I looked in it, so I put a sticker over my face. >> Mhm. >> And I guess that made her mad. So she uh we're good we're good looking people. You shouldn't be doing stuff like that. Something. >> So basically she like you put the sticker over your school picture. >> Okay. And then >> and then she was like she was saying how we were going to go to Bon. >> Mhm. >> To show us or like so show something about gratefulness. >> Yeah. We're going to come down here to show something about gratefulness. >> Yeah. >> What do you mean? >> Like I don't know. She was saying how we were originally from the trenches, I guess. >> Oh, okay. Did you have you ever been down? But you've been to Boon before, so she just wanted to show y'all I guess a different part of Boon. Okay. >> Well, not really a different part, but like where we originated, I guess. >> Yeah. Were you born in like Bethesda? Oh, okay. Was he born your brother born in Bethesda, too? >> Oh, okay. Y'all got on the bus to come down to Bethesda. Y'all made it down here. >> Mhm. >> And then what happened? like just walked. We went to the store. We walked some more. Then we went like by the easy market, I think it's called. >> Mhm. >> Well, that's what she calls it. And we saw some of our cousins. >> Oh, down there. Well, at the actual store at the Easy Mart. Oh, okay. >> And then we walked again and then we were by the Rainbow store. >> That's far. From Easy Mart to Rainbow. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> We usually walk a lot though. >> Okay. Oh, so it's piece of cake. You got here to boy, y'all. But you remember where y'all stopped in Boon? Cuz it did drop you off right at the end. >> The CVS. >> By the CVS. Oh, yeah. Off of like Federal and Boy. Yeah. In Boy Beach Boulevard. And so then y'all kind of walked through the kind of neighborhood to get to Easy Mart. >> All right. Then saw Cousins. >> And then walked to >> the >> um the other store, Rainbow. All right. And then she we had saw some of our other cousins like on our way. >> Mhm. >> And we also got the address of my brother's dad because I guess like they're they don't talk to each other. >> But he in Buen or he in Delray? >> He's a boy. >> Did you do you remember the address? >> No. >> Okay. You know what's his name? >> Kente. His name is Kente. >> Well, that's what we call him. I think that is his name though. >> You know his last name. >> So, cuz what's your brother's last name? What's your last name? Oh, okay. No. No, you're not. >> I'm a woman, bro. >> Yeah, true. Um, all right. So some y'all talk to other cousins and were able to get his address, the dad's address, but you don't know the address. And so >> like cuz we she she said she knew what street it was. She just didn't know the number. And I think it was 16 and >> was it on Crest or what was the >> It was by a park by the rainbow store. >> Mhm. That that where he live is by the rainbow store. like the park by the rainbow >> whatever it's called. >> Yeah, I think it's Eel, but I don't know. But I mean, I'm just as you telling, I'm trying to piece, you know, what I think. So, you know, that's fine. I'm just, you know, listening and just trying to piece what happened. Um, all right. So, y'all stopped somewhere and got his address. But >> So, what what happened today from your end? I know you don't know much. The uncle just called you. >> Yeah. So he called me and he was like, "Hey, um, don't mean to bother you, but um, I got Tamilia with me, you know, is it possible that I can meet up with you and like, you know, like give, you know, bring it to you or whatnot?" I'm like, "Yeah." So I'm like, "What happened?" He's like, "I don't know. She called me. She was fine." And something about her mom, her mom just walked off away from her. >> Yeah. >> And I said, "Okay." I said, "Just tell me where to meet you at. I'll meet you." So, he like, "Well, we can meet up somewhere, you know, between both of us." So, we met up at the Walmart at uh on uh >> on South Federal right by that Dunkin Donut. >> I use the restroom so bad. >> Let's go. No problem. >> Yeah. Um, yeah. So, we um, so we met up at the Walmart and she was like, "Listen, you know, I ain't going to bother you." He like, "But if I could have um, if I could have uh, just like if I didn't have to work tomorrow, I would have just got with me." I said, "Listen, that's the reason why I got her a phone for anything like this." >> Yeah. Because whenever she goes, we got 50. So whenever she goes with her mom, her mom make her turn the phone off and make her leave it other places because I got a um I got like a uh I monitor her um How you doing? >> I appreciate you bringing over here, man. Just make sure everything's good. >> No problem. No problem. So I monitor her uh her usage on you know uh social media. So >> on on the one app it got locator too. So just case >> of course >> I know where she at. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So >> if you want to use the bathroom and I don't want to cut you off but if you want to use it and then finish it's right there. See it? >> Um I guess she turned it on called the uncle. The uncle called him and the man at Walmart. Um, I guess the uncle said that she was crying and that >> her mom left her >> for whatever reason. And then I'm just gonna do you know where she left her. >> No, I'm going to ask him more. I want to ask what she said once she got >> Where are they doing? Are they staying somewhere? Are they just like how did they get here by bus? Yeah. >> Are they just You know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. >> Where do they normally live? Because >> she seems like she's under the influence of something. >> Mhm. >> You know, now she's got this little boy with them with them. >> Yeah. It seems like she just picked him up from school and then I don't know. I guess >> yeah, it was 9:00 [snorts] >> and they haven't he took it right to McDonald's cuz they haven't eaten since school lunch. >> Okay. >> All right. You you could go ahead and finish what you were telling me. >> Yeah. So, um I forgot what I was saying. Oh, so um so we met up, you know, he would have kept her but you know, I got to go to work. I said that's fine. I said that's the reason why I got her phone. So she got called me. So, you know, I'm like, "Baby, you okay?" She like, "Yeah, I'm all right." So, I said, "I don't want to, you know, I don't want to upset you, but you want to tell me what happened, you know." So, she like um you know, um I guess they caught the bus down. Yeah. >> They caught the bus from where? I I don't know because um with the 50/50 cut but I I try to have the least amount of contact with her mom. >> Yeah. >> So, >> but she doesn't stay in Boon. >> No, they stay somewhere in Palm Beach. >> You have any idea why she would be in Boon? >> They most She got family down here. She just she one of them tight. She just bounce around from place to place and everything. >> Yeah. And um >> I don't even know cuz she got a um I don't even know if her son is with her or not. >> He is. It looks like they just came from school. Did she pick them up from school? >> Yeah, cuz usually Okay, so she go to um cuz mom is good. I don't I hate she drink. She get up, you know. >> She does drink cuz she looked like she was she looked like she was under the influence or something. >> Mhm. I don't know if she used drugs or whatever, but I know she drank heavy. She had a history of using drugs or just alcohol. >> I know she drank it. >> But you just wasn't you not Did y'all even figure out the name of the street? >> I mean >> it was on that that big street. So you think it was on the street of Rainbow in the park? Okay. Cuz you think he live by it? But did y'all see him today? >> Okay. >> We knocked on his door. >> Okay. >> But he didn't answer. >> You think he was there? >> Okay. >> There was a car there. >> True. What kind of car? >> Uh, I think it was a Toyota Corolla. Like one of the old ones. >> Yeah. What color? >> Like green. Greenish. >> Mhm. >> Dark green. >> Yeah. Okay. He just didn't answer. Okay. Did your brother feel okay that he didn't answer? He was cool. Was your mom okay that he didn't answer? >> Mhm. >> Okay. Cuz you know sometimes like we we go like a long way somewhere and then like damn when they get like damn they ain't getting there. But she long as y'all was cool. So then like what happened? And then we were walking and I had said something cuz we had walked by the rainbow store and then I said I think one of my uncles worked there or something like that. And then like I started explaining and then my mom had got m or she she said I was being ignorant and I was I was asking her what does that mean and she started telling me to smile and I was smiling. what I possibly did wrong. And then she was like, "You always come back with that bad attitude." Cuz I guess whenever I come back from my father's house, I always come with a bad attitude, which I don't really know what I do wrong. I just sit there and breathe air. >> Yeah. >> And then she was like getting mad. >> Excuse me. >> And she says something. We we were walking or like we stayed there. >> Mhm. >> Like at in front of his yard for a little bit. >> So after you knocked on or not you, but after she knocked on the door, he didn't answer. Then y'all just kind of walked off. >> Well, yeah. We went by like a little past the Rainbow store and then she was like saying something and I was like crying cuz she hurt my feelings and then she like started walking and she said something. And she was like, "If you want to just if you want to die, then just die." And >> all right. So, you went to this house. You went to the house that was supposed that may or may not been your younger brother's dad's house. We saw a car there, like a green old Toyota Corolla. Not she knocked on the door, but nobody came to the door. So, then y'all kind of walked back towards Rainbow. And then um you guys got to talking again and she made a comment and about regarding the word ignorant and you were just like I don't know what that means. Um she >> was that she was saying cuz like my brother had said something and then she she said the only reason we're down here is because your dumb sister something like that. So now she's just saying mean stuff and along with if you want to just die, you should just die. So of course that don't make you feel well. Um sorry, sorry that she said those things to you. Um and then what happened next? >> She kept on going and then like I started crying. >> Okay. a lot and then like I I like falling on my knees and then like sat on the ground and I was hyperventilating and then like I got back up cuz she started walking away and then she stopped and then she was saying some if you want to go back with your dad then just go or something. >> Mhm. >> And I was trying to apologize and also ask her if she wanted me to go back with my father. She like didn't answer and she wouldn't let me apologize. >> What do you mean? >> She like kept kept on interrupting me. >> So I started hyper vanilating again and then I sat there and I I guess I was like crying loud cuz some ladies came out and like gave me a water bottle and a napkin. >> Okay. Yeah. And then what um did they when like so nap when they gave you the water bottle and the napkin did your mom keep walking or was she standing there too? >> She kept on walking. >> She kept walking. So the ladies when by the time the ladies came with the napkin and the water >> she was already gone. >> She was already gone. >> Didn't even see her down the street. >> Really? Okay. And then what so what did you do like cuz now you got up cuz the ladies gave you a water and a but what happened? You try looking for your mom? I they told me to call or she told me to call my auntie. So I called my auntie. My auntie told me to call my uncle. I called my uncle. My uncle came and picked me up. And then um he called my dad and he dropped me off at Well, we met up at Walmart and my uncle let me go with my father. >> Mhm. Okay. And then now you're here. Do you um did you want to see your mom and your >> Not really. >> Yeah. >> I mean my brother. Yeah. But like not really. >> Not really. Yeah. Do she talk like that often to you? >> Usually whenever I come back from my father. >> Yeah. That's normally. How often? Yeah. How often do you So like do you do you do Monday through Friday with your with your mom and then on the weekends you go with your dad? >> Monday, Tuesday with my father. Wednesday, Thursday with my mother and then every Friday, Saturday, every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday. >> It alternates. So this this weekend I'm with my father. >> Mhm. Coming up it will be he and he live down here in where he live in Delray. >> Delray. >> In Delray. Okay. Anything else you want to add about what happened? [clears throat] So they like, "So I'mma run back everything, >> right?" >> So today you in Palm Springs like you normally do then you got on the bus to go home which is up in West Palm, right? So you took the bus. So your mom met you there at West Palm and said, "Hey, we're going to Boon to basically back to our old stomping grounds and give or take." Yeah. >> Okay. Um yeah, I got on the bus from C like uh the 31 from um to T uh which is like right around Tamron to the transit, right? Then got on that bus that got you down to Lantana. And then another bus took you to Boon, which is the CVS. >> Wait, no. The bus we took from the tribal station went to the Boon Beach. Okay. But y'all went through Lana. But I got you. But it So it got you to the CVS. You got off at the CVS, all three of you guys. And you walked towards uh the easy mart. Um saw a couple of family. Okay. Then walked towards uh Rainbow. Was a saw more family. Was able to get your brother's father's address. You think it might be, but it's near the park. We went to the address, knocked on the door. Well, she did with all y'all. Saw a car, but nobody answered. So then y'all walk back to uh Rainbow. You guys are talking, talking, talking. She made a comment that referenced the word ignorant. You didn't know what it mean. Kind of asked for clarification. She got upset even more. that frustrated you. Um, she made a couple comments. One indicating if you wanna if you want to go with your dad, then just go to your dad's. If you want to die, then just die. You kind of fell to the ground. Your feelings were hurt, but then you got back up, right? And she started talking to you again. >> Mhm. >> And then she said some more mean things. You fell to the ground again, but this time she walked off to the point where you couldn't even see her. So these ladies brought you a water bottle and also two a napkin to kind of, you know, are you okay? Did they ask you if you're okay? Okay. And then now you look around and you don't see your mom. You have no idea where she is. Um, did you have a phone to call her? >> Her phone was dead. >> Her phone's dead. Okay, >> but I have my phone. >> Okay. So with that being said, then did the lady tell you to call family members? >> I mean, I was going to, but they did. >> Yeah. But you knew, okay, if I can't see my mom, I got to call somebody cuz I live in West Riviera and I'm way down here in Boon. So then that's when you called your aunt and your uncle. >> My aunt told me to call my uncle. >> Yeah, your aunt told you to call your uncle. You called your uncle. He came and got you and you also called your dad and y'all met at the Walmart and then now we're here. If you don't mind, um, can you just raise your right hand and just My daughter does that. Uh, and then just state your first and last name. >> Tamilia. >> And then do you swear and affirm that the statements that you gave me are the truth and the best of your knowledge. >> Do I have to repeat that whole sentence? >> No. You're just going to say yes or no. So, as long as do you swear that what you told me is the truth, you got to say it. >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. Put your hand down. That's it. You ready to go? >> Yes. >> Okay. I'm tired. >> Yeah. I know. I bet. So, now tonight, if we don't if you don't go, you okay with going to your dad's? Okay. All right. Do you know how long by any chance you were away? Like how long did your mom walk off before your uncle came? Um >> I didn't really pay attention. >> Yeah. Like I mean even if your uncle asked you, he say, "How long you been out here by yourself?" >> Um not really that long. I'd say possible. >> 15 minutes by any chance to he picked you up? Did Did Wherever direction he went Did y'all see her? >> Nothing. >> We went the opposite way. >> Oh, okay. Thank you, sir. >> Let's go, boy. >> Can you put his number in the back, please? >> Yeah. 5767. [clears throat] Um Tama. >> Um if you don't mind, can I just see your arms? I make sure you weren't harmed or anything. Okay. >> All right. Cool. Just want to make sure. >> So here, case number, my name, badge number, and the date to access the report station. So what she feel? >> All right. So, in a nutshell, um she left school today. >> She's in Palm Springs. >> Okay. >> So, she takes the bus back to West Palm. >> Mhm. >> Does she know where in West Palm? >> No, she didn't tell me, but >> Okay. >> Thank you again. >> Hey, thank you guys. Will you guys just hang out? You can hang out in your car just for a sec in case we need any other information. >> Okay, that's fine. >> I appreciate you. >> Yeah, that's fine. That's fine. um wherever it is you got to catch Tamron Tamron bus the 31. >> So she met her mom there and then they took the bus basic. She said we're going to back we're going to Boon. >> She say why? >> She said she says all right. So she said they're going to Boon to see like where they're from. Where she's born in Bethesda, but the little boy was not the baby daddy. The little boy's baby daddy. So they Okay. So they get here they get here to CVS. They get dropped off of CVS. uh federal and yeah they get there so they walk to easy mark they see family yada yada yada >> they see family there >> they did so then they said um then they walk to Rainbow >> sense when the dad said she was left >> okay yeah so we get to Rainbow um see more family some kind of way they give her the son's or the brother's uh dad's address she said she couldn't remember if she remember the number but it's by a park so I'm thinking Chris >> Eel. >> I I said Eel. She was like maybe, but it's got to be cuz that's Rainbow. >> So, they were trying to get with family somewhere here. >> Somewhere. >> Okay. >> So, then knock on this door. Uh there's a a toy a green Toyota Corolla out there, but nobody answered the door. So, now they're walking back. So, she says she can't. >> So, what was their plan to walk to go back home? >> Um Yeah. Well, she said she wasn't sure cuz they just she said, "We walk a lot." >> So, then she said, "So, they're walking around. >> They're walking around. They get back to Eel or uh Rainbow. get back to Rainbow. They get in an argument. Her mom says, "You just being ignorant." She was like, "What does that mean?" So then she start going off on her in some kind of way call her ignorant and also to say, "If you just want to go to your dad's, you can go to your dad's. And also too, if you want to die, you can just die." So now she's >> That's what the mom says. [clears throat] >> That's what the mom says to her. So then she crouches down into a like a ball or whatever hyperventilating because her feelings are hurt some kind of way. She gets back up and they get in another argument. So her feelings are hurt again. She >> never gets physical. >> No, >> just talking down to her. >> Right. So then she goes back into another ball. This time the mom walks off. She was like, I couldn't I don't know where she went. The two ladies gave her a bottle of water and a napkin. Asked her if she was okay. She was like, "Yeah." But now she said she's looking around. She don't know where. >> So she left the 12-year-old unattended at Rainbow City. >> Yes. Okay. >> Gone. So then she said I said, "Well, did you try to call your mom?" She was like, "Well, I know her phone's dead." So I she said the ladies told her and she told herself or she knew herself to call somebody. She called one of her aunts. Aunt said call your uncle. So she called the uncle. The uncle say where are you? So he came and got her >> and then he called the dad and they met at a Walmart. Okay. >> Yes. Uh she also says to do she stay with the mom Monday through Friday. No, she norally stays with the dad Monday, Tuesday. >> The mom has her Wednesday, Thursday and then they alternate the weekends. say every time she come back from her dad, her mom is always upset or mean to her. So that's where we're at. I did have her look at her arms and she she said she wasn't harmed and I looked at her. Nothing. >> Now, what about Did she say anything about her mom drinking? Was her mom drinking at any time? >> She didn't mention drinking. >> Okay. Cuz you can smell it in the car. She's >> Well, my father said she has a very long history of alcohol. Okay. >> Oh, see I didn't I didn't know So what are you thinking? >> Child and probably an obstruction that's >> um she was missing at that point. >> Now uh for the son because we don't know here here's what I would do. I would call DCF, tell them what you got. Probably be an immediate immediate call out for them. >> Um because we don't know any information on the little boy. No. >> Yeah. Well, Sergeant Sale said that. >> Yeah. But that's not >> that's Yeah. Okay. >> You want us to >> We still need to know We still need to notify DCF. >> Yeah. >> Because they might want to run a background or go check where they're staying. >> You see what I'm saying? >> So, is he here yet? >> I don't know. >> No. But I would call them like right now. >> Yeah. >> She'll be the She can be 10:15 for the other two things. That's fine. We can have um >> And she don't want to go where her mom. She's like, "I would like to see my brother." Cuz she first thing she asked for in the bathroom and she if they were here and I was like, "No." Then I asked her in there. I said, "You want to see your mom?" She was like, "No, not really." She's like, "If my brother was here, it'd be cool to see him." But >> she's like, "I would rather go with my dad." >> So So let's call DCF first. >> Okay. >> Let's get on the horn with them. >> Tell them what we have. Say, "Look, this is what we got. We're going to arrest the mom. We don't even know where she lives. >> She won't give us an address. He can't He can't verify where she >> And she says she don't remember. She don't really know where. I asked her. She don't really know where. >> Yeah. >> Can you just do uh She just needs Marcy's, right? A little girl. >> Yeah, that's Yeah, the dad can do that. Yeah. >> Can you get that from the dad? I'll call DCF and >> so you just the dad sign. The little girl have to Okay. Yeah, I can get that. >> And then um and then what we'll do is we'll uh >> I had a swear in. I don't know if we do that with minor. >> That's fine. >> Okay. >> And it's just it's just a fact finding. So you'll have to do a supplement just saying what you did. >> Mhm. >> And then um yeah, we'll do that. We'll have one of those guys go put her in a cell and sit on it and then just tell DCF what we have and then find out what they want to do. >> So yeah, we got her uncle here cuz we're going to need to get all his 14. We have his address of where he stays. >> No, >> we need to get all that. Yeah, we need >> Oh, dad. Yeah, >> we need we need to get all that cuz >> I got all his stuff going to ask all those questions. >> I got all his stuff. I have the uncle or number two. >> All right. And then I I'm going to go get your masters and exam. >> I'm assuming this the uncle's okay. Yes. >> Okay. >> So, Candace, if you want to get the forms into >> Okay. I have to have you sign two forms. So, just hang tight. I'm My car right here. That's fine. >> Should I let him out here? Serge, >> should I just let him out here? No, >> you're just going to keep him in there. >> Well, the kids going to go with the brother to date. >> We're just Did somebody make contact? Was somebody able to make contact with with the brother? Cuz he didn't answer for me. >> Uh I believe he'll meet us here. >> Oh, they are? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Supposedly. Yeah, that's what I believe. Um that's what uh Chase worked out. >> Well, because I I know that the dad was meeting her. >> That's what I know. What are you talking? >> Well, I don't think that dad is his his dad. I thought you were talking about my brother, >> right? But we're going to get a hold of the brother. Come get down. >> All right. >> Oh, okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, we're just hang tight. >> All right. >> Yeah, cuz she's going for John Construction. >> Yeah. >> Maybe public house. >> Yes. You get too sloppy drunk, man. You can't watch your kids. >> Definitely mixed with >> I'm assuming that's what the ruckus was in the house, but I don't know. >> It definitely mixed with some 20s or something. >> Yeah. No, for sure. This should be Michael, right? >> Yeah. >> What's up, buddy? You Michael? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Uh, well, we just need to talk to So, you're uncle. >> I'm his uncle. Yeah. >> You're his uncle. Okay. Does he stay with you at all? >> He has. >> He has. Okay. You don't have a problem taking cuz mom's going to go with us. >> Yeah. No, that's fine. >> Okay. Were you here what earlier in in the day when they were all together? Were you there? >> No. So I was the one So I was the one when her daughter called me. I went picked her up, took her to her dad. >> Okay. >> I came home and when I was coming back home, I saw police cars on secrets. I'm like >> that's probably it. Yeah. >> And no sooner than I passed it, that's when some Tamia. Are you familiar with her? >> Tamia. Yeah. >> Okay. All right. She normally Okay. >> Oh, you mean Tammy? >> I'm sorry. Tammy. Yes. I'm sorry. She normally drink a lot. >> She drinks too [ __ ] >> Okay. All right. Right. That's that's her main problem tonight. So, she's going to take a ride with us for that. Not >> she's getting charged with child neglect and obstruction cuz she was not forthcoming with any information. Um, actually, she was dancing around. We ended up getting as what we could actually when we got a hold of you. I think that's when we figured everything out. It was not from her. So, unfortunately, she's going to go sober up on Gun Club. >> That's fine. >> Can he get all your information? So, we just make sure. So, DCF may get in touch with you. It's just a family. So, they just uh >> they've done it before. >> Okay. All right. Michael. >> So, somebody gave him wings and >> Yeah. The people's house they're out front of, they gave him a bunch of looked like he was ready to tear it up. >> So, you can see they said it might be a little spicy, but I don't know who. They're Hispanic, so when they say it was spicy. Maybe it's like mega spicy. I don't know. >> Yeah. >> I love spicy food, so they look good, too. >> Do you know why they were importing tonight? I never know why she's in Boon. She can't stay out of Boon. >> So she comes here often or she comes down just >> to you know we were born and raised in Boon, right? >> But she's been out of bon now for several years but for whatever reason she she's always back. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Do you know anything about that house >> or see? >> No. Okay. She said she was there with friends, but they didn't act like they really knew her either. So >> cuz when when when Sama called me, that's the daughter Hunter Sama. when she called me, she was like I was like, "Where are you?" Because we because we do have cousins that lives um on the other side of Rainbow City near the on First Court. We do have cousins over there. So, I thought that's where she was going to be at, but she was like, "Oh, I don't know where I'm at." And I'm like, "So, the people in the background, I guess they heard me, so they gave her the address and that's >> Okay, good. That's nice. You were being a nice man." >> Yeah. >> All right. So, Miss Tammy's on this side, right? >> Yeah. This Tammy, you're letting Michael You're letting go of Michael, correct? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. All right. Pull my other side. >> We appreciate you, man. We know it's late in the We just rather you go with somebody who knows and have to go with DCF. So, that's that's the whole thing. We appreciate you. >> We're trying to figure that out. We'll talk to you soon. Come with your uncle. >> All right. >> He's tall. He's tall, man. >> See, he's tall. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. >> Both. >> Yeah, they're both yours. >> The uh Walmart bag is your mom. The Walmart bag. Is that your mom? >> Yeah, your mom. >> You okay? >> All right. Everything will be all right, buddy. I promise. Okay. >> All right. >> All right, pal. >> You guys have a good night. Okay. Thank you, Mom. >> Sadly, he used to >> Yeah. It's okay. Your uncle >> Okay. Um, >> can you just hang tight with him here for a little bit? I just need to make one call and see what um as far as everything happens. All right. >> Just for if you don't mind, >> you guys can hang on your car or whatever. >> Yeah, y'all can eat. >> Yeah, you can eat and do all that. >> We just got to make notifications just to let everybody know what's going on. >> Thank you. >> You got water? We can run and get you a water. >> Here. >> You want one? >> Thank you. I told him in the meantime do an immediate call to DCF get all that ball ball rolling so addresses where they can check up follow up and do all that and then we can take her for the obstruction and then trying to get there's no way she'll take care of these kids. She the daughter told Candace that she just she she went up to Rainbow they got into an argument about something verbal only and she's like yeah well you want to go to your dad and go with him stay here like for all I care yourself and the girl rolls up into a ball and the mom just dips off and leaves her. So two ladies came out of Rainbow like, "Are you okay? Do you need water?" Whatever. Uh she knew enough to turn her phone on and then call the uncle. That's how that all started. But she literally left there. >> Okay. So >> that makes more sense. >> She can't give us an address. >> Don't know where she lives. She has no car, no way to get them. >> Supposedly they they were walking around easy or somewhere else. They have family around here. >> She comes down here to party. >> She goes to Rivera by herself with her two kids. >> And then he said, "I don't know why she comes down here, but she has a horrible drinking problem." Okay. >> And that's what that's what the dad said, too. She's got a long history of drinking. >> So, I told Bourbon, I said, "This is what we got. This is what we're doing." >> Okay. >> We'll do an immediate for DCF cuz I don't know if they're going to want to respond to their houses, whatever, find out what they got. >> Right. >> Cuz the way it used to be >> is you couldn't release them to nobody till DCF came and vetted them. >> Oh, wow. >> They wanted to go to the house, make sure the house was sufficient. You had to do criminal history checks, all that [ __ ] Even if it's even if it's immediate family. >> Wow. >> Yeah. Because they had instances where um like immediate family had like prior like crimes and [ __ ] You know, you don't want to leave the kid with them for obvious reasons. You know what I mean? >> She was arrested that night and taken to jail on charges of child neglect without great bodily harm and resisting [music] an officer. At her first court appearance, a judge found probable cause for both charges. A no contact order was issued and bond on the felony child neglect charge was set at $5,000.
