It looks like she's camping in there. Okay, boys. >> You all right? >> No, I'm fine. I just don't want to pull my hands on her too much. The dry sun works dead. >> I was going to pull my hat out, but I'm going to wait. >> Yeah, just in case. Let's see what she has. >> Yeah, I know. >> Thanks, buddy. I need water. I need water. I need water. Can I get some water? I need water. I need water. [crying] [laughter] I need water, ma'am. Ma'am, please. Please. I need water. I NEED WATER. I NEED WATER. I need water. I need water. I need water. [screaming] I need water. I need water. Please. Please. Can I have water? Excuse me, sir. Am I able to speak to you for a second? >> You have a quick minute for >> um just I heard you say you want to press charges. >> Yes. >> Um she failed to leave as trespassing. She also failed to identify herself. >> So just can you just tell me what happened before I got here? >> Yeah, no problem. So I came out the lobby. There was her sitting over there and then another guy that was sitting over there that was uh I guess he was homeless or something like that. >> And then there was a family over here. So I do our rounds. Every 30 minutes we have to do our rounds. Let the customers, hey, good morning. Um you have a 30-minut time frame while consuming food and then you know you have to be off the property. It's a 30-minut time frame. >> Mhm. >> She didn't even consume any food. She was just sitting here using the Wi-Fi. And so she was like, "Who are you? The white gatekeeper?" Ma'am, ma'am, this is not even a confrontational thing right now. I'm just letting you know the rules. It's 30 minutes. Well, I travel the world and blah blah blah. Okay, well, congratulations that you travel the world. I I don't need to know all that. I just need you to know that there's a 30-minut time frame and that's it. That's all I'm coming here to do. And then that's when she's got all she started calling me names. Ma'am, I don't have time for that. Oh, you hate your mother. Oh, you you need to go get some and all this. I'm like, >> what names was she calling you? She called me a a black and then she called me a black gay dude. Then she said she just kept saying, you know, hateful things, you know. Oh, you you you here to um to control the white people and ma'am. She's like, "Oh, you need to be in jail somewhere where all the black people is. You know where they want you." I'm like, "Ma'am, I don't care about all that. I have a degree. I I just applied for law school. I'm just waiting for them to say, "Oh, congrats." >> Yeah. I'm just waiting for my acceptance letter. That's it. So, um all that unnecessary stuff, man. I can't, you know, I can't engage in that. you know, there's ethical things that I have to, you know, maintain. I can't, you know, I can't do that. So, it's like the things that you're saying is very hateful, and I really want to react, but in the back of my head, I'm thinking like, you're just applying for law school. So, you know, there are certain standards that you have to go about things. So, um, then I just called 911, just said, can you guys just come and remove the lady? And by the time you got here, she was already back here trying to record me. And I'm like, ma'am, stop recording me. You don't have permission to record me. Stop recording me. Oh, I'm recording. And that's what happened. >> Okay. Um, I just need Are you the manager? >> Yes, I am. >> I just need to get you a quick ID. No problem. Let go >> and then uh I'll have you on your way. >> Okay, no problem. >> Thank you so much, sir. Um, so there's another statute that I'm um I'm thinking about right now. >> It's disorderly conduct in a licensed establishment. >> Okay. Okay. >> Um, Claire, she's acting disorderly in a licensed establishment. >> Exactly. >> Um, and like I said, I know you want to press charges for trespassing. >> Would you also be okay with the disorderly >> conduct? I'll be fine with that. Yes. That's not a problem at all. >> There you are, sir. Thank you very much. >> Thank you. Of course, >> I need water, sir. I need water. Please give me water, please. Give me water, please. Can I have some water? Can I have some water, please? Can I have some water? I need some water, please. Please. Please. >> Hi. >> Hi. I need some water. >> Take a deep breath. Um I'm my my mouth is seriously parched and my dog is in there. >> But you have to listen to me. Okay. Um take a deep breath. Relax. Cuz my name is Mark Circus. I'm the supervisor today. Okay. Um I obviously got called out cuz there were some force used against you. So um I need to make sure you're not hurt right now. You're just you're just thirsty or what hurt? >> No, they they put these super tight on here. He broke my glasses. He threw me to the ground. Uh-huh. All right, let's have a let's have a calm conversation. What we'll probably do, if you're calm and cool, we'll take those out. We'll adjust them, make sure they're more comfortable, and we'll get you some water. Whatever. >> I didn't do anything wrong, sir. >> All right. >> I have never been kicked out of a McDonald's. I've traveled this country 6 months. I'm a journalist. I'm not a nobody. I lived in Florida for 25 years. I have two sons at the University of I am not a homeless person. I am not somebody to be pushed around. I have a master's degree. I'm educated. I'm This is I don't know why you're doing this to me. >> Why? I don't do I just got here. So, I'm just making sure everything's >> These are super tight and they're really constricting. >> All right. Well, I guess the issue was >> Why did he have to throw me down and break my glasses? Is my phone also broken? >> I don't know. I'll look into all that. I have to review everything. We have body cameras on throughout the entire counter. So, everything that happened, we'll see. Do you know why McDonald's called us about you? >> Because the for for days I have been working here. My >> working at McDonald's. >> I'm a I'm a digital nomad. I'm a I'm a journalist and I'm also here because my son graduates from the university in May next month. I came down I also have another son, a freshman there as well. And I came down to be a mom and to take a little vacation. I have been through a lot. All right. >> I explained to the man that my mother was I have been taking a a journey to to deal with the grief of that. >> What's the connection if you ask your message? >> My mother used to my grandmother used to be a court reporter here. >> Corporate asked. Okay. >> I have a long relationship with this island and I will never forget this experience. Okay. >> I I >> Are you Are you currently just >> I've never personal van or is that a rental? >> That is a rental, sir. And I might add that I my car got flooded. >> Okay. >> An AC line broke. >> Are you living out of it right now or you just >> I have no choice. >> Okay. I'm not I'm not judging you for that. I'm just I'm just I need to find out. That's all. Um You have a little dog, right? >> I have a very sweet little dog. >> What's the dog's name? >> Lily. >> Lily. And everybody at the McDonald's loved her and the little kids came up to her and the people were very nice until this guy. >> All right, I understand it. It's a very upsetting situation. >> I have never been walked up to and told that I have to like a 30 minute limit that in I've I've been all across this country in a lot of McDonald's. >> The problem with our McDonald's is as you probably seen, we have a lot of homeless people that come and they kind of make up their second home. >> My arms are really hurting, dude. I am not a dangerous person at all. Like I don't >> This is so demoralizing. >> This is so unfair. You don't need to do this to me. I'm a 25 year Florida resident. I own three four homes here. >> Okay, let me see. Where did the uh >> He hurt my arm. >> He threw me down. I only have body cam footage of all of that. He broke my glasses. There is no need to get that kind of aggressive with me. I'm a 50-year-old woman. I'm 53. I'm not dangerous. I don't own firearms. I was a victim of in the state. My ex-husband spent 6 months in the Sarasota County jail for smashing his wife into his third into his third wife's face and I was the second wife. You don't need to do this to a woman whose mother was also. You don't need to do this to women. >> Okay. So, listen. I'm going to take some pictures. >> Can I see back? >> Why do you have to put these on so tightly? >> They should be pretty loose right now. >> They're not loose, sir. They're They're actually cutting into my wrist. >> Okay, put this in for a second. Let me get some other pictures. I don't know >> the body cam footage will tell everything. They went full on me. >> Sonic, >> where was the stunt? >> Uh, Hy did it in her lower back. >> Lower back. >> No need to do that to a 53 lower back. >> A 50-year-old 53 woman. How dare they? That is abuse. Okay. All right. You can face forward for me for one more second. >> Please loosen these so that they don't cut into my wrist, please. Just a little bit. >> The trick. Okay. Keep your hands together like you're praying. And they're they're real loose. Okay. >> They're not. They're they're driving into my wrist. Can you please give me water, please? Just give me a drink of water, please. >> Where's my phone? Where are my broken glasses? I need my broken glasses as evidence of excessive force. Sir, >> where where are my glasses and where's my phone? Sir, >> come on. >> Is this Is this what you do? >> 17. >> So, sir, I'm a I'm a mother of two sons, 25 years living in Florida. [singing] >> And this is hobby. This is your big accomplishment of the day, is it? You listen to Afroman talk about police brutality while you brutalize women and black people. >> It's wild, my dude. It's wild what you're doing right now. Y'ALL LOST THAT CASE. COPS HAVE egg on their face because of Afroman. Why are you listening to him? So you YOU WRAP A MAN'S HOME. YOU TURN his home upside down. YOU TURN A WOMAN'S DAY and week and year upside down and now you're gonna listen to his music like it's some kind of flex. That's a flex. We got to throw crooked claps to the slammer and that's what you're listening to. Yeah, I totally agree. I totally agree with Abraman. Yes. Yes. We totally need to send crooked cops to the slammer right now. And you think it's a flex. You think this is funny. you think this is all a big game and you smile and you laugh because if you a woman in the face and then you screamed [ __ ] at her, you would feel really really really powerful. That is what this is all about, isn't it? This is so [ __ ] stupid, dude. This is this is the stupidest thing you've evering done. Like it's so useless. It's so useless to be so fascist. Like honestly, there was no need to harass me. There wasn't a need for that guy to harass me and there wasn't a need for you to harass me. I need water. YOU SAID TO YOUR BOSS YOU WERE GOING TO GET ME WATER. WHY DID YOU LIE TO YOUR BOSS? >> She was arrested on charges of trespassing, resisting an officer without violence and disorderly conduct on the premises of an establishment and was transported to the county jail. According to court records, she later posted bonds totaling $22,500 to be released. She has a court date coming up at the end of April.
