On June 23rd, 2025, around 10:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to an apartment complex for a reported dispute between a couple. Here's what unfolded. >> I'll talk to you over here. >> Yep. >> Is she inside? >> No, she's in her car like next to my truck. >> Okay. You want to stay here then? I don't want you going out there. >> No, literally my truck's a Ford F150 right next to it. Honda Accord. >> Same color. Stay with me. >> Sure. Let's >> figure out what's going on for you. What's your name? >> Brian. >> Okay. All right. Tell me how this started. When did >> Okay. Calm down. Relax. >> You want me to relax? >> Yes. >> I want you to relax. >> How long you been working as a police officer? >> Long enough. >> Uh, enough for what? >> To do my job. >> Calm down. >> It's okay. >> What's going on? >> I used to be a police officer, too. >> Okay. >> It's okay. >> I'm doing my job here. What's going on? >> You want to see? Come. Come. You want to see? Sure. >> Literally, all I did was No, he's fine. >> Yo, come. >> This is our house, right? Baby's sleeping. >> Our bedroom, >> right? >> This is what she did, right? You see this? >> This is literally that, right? She did this. >> She did this. >> Okay. All I was doing was sitting right here listening to music. Like literally listening to music. >> And she was so mad she kicked the door in, comes in. I'm like, "Oh my god." Wham! On my face. Smack you in your face. >> Grabs the the speaker, throws it into the grabs my phone, throws it into the tub, like tries to break like both of it. >> Did it break? >> No, it didn't luckily. And there's no there's not even a case on it, right? >> There's no mark, right? >> Like it's like >> the door I assume the door is unlocked and then she >> No, it was it was locked and she was likeam and I was like trying to unlock it and she was like bam through the door. >> What happened like before that? Was there like an argument or >> we have a 4mon old child. >> Okay. >> My thing is like the whole thing for me has been about sex. It's like look like we used to have sex and now we don't. go. >> And then it's like, oh, now she wants to have sex with me, right, after a [ __ ] year. And I go, I don't want to have sex with you. >> Okay. >> I'm like, that's literally what it is. I'm like, you know what? Like, I don't need I don't need it. >> I was like, I got other places to go. >> She been drinking tonight. >> Oh, yeah. Both of us. >> Both of you. You guys just drinking here or out? >> But that what I'm saying is like, how do you do this and just get away with it over and over and over? And I want to document it cuz I'm like, "Dude, you literally like broke the whole cut on it." >> And I'm the I'm the one I didn't touch her. >> Okay. Um, from there, you're sitting down. She throws her speaker, throws your phone. Where do you go from there? >> I literally got up, right? Bam. I'm like, >> "Okay." >> Then I'm like, >> like literally just like, >> "All right." >> Put her like in her place >> to hope that she would calm down. And then we just got her all revved up and I'm like >> defeensive tactics, right? Okay, let me like subdue you. You don't want to listen. Look at her history. I had literally had her >> taken by Steuart PD. Where where you from? >> From my old apartment when we first got together in 2021. It's the same [ __ ] It's like, dude, stop because like you try to make me look like I'm the [ __ ] because I'm the bigger one and the more trained and like all this stuff. It's like >> at what point were you able to separate? >> When I told her get out of the house, >> got out or she >> I told her to get out of the house. She's like, "No, I need to get this and I need to call this." I was like, "No, get out." >> And she was like blah blah blah. I was like, "If you don't get out right now, ultimatum." She finally got out, went in her car, and then I was like, "Leave." >> Which is like a dumb idea, but it's like leave because it's like, "You don't think I can handle these kids by myself?" And it's like it's such a burden to you like to handle like the two unicorn children. Literally, they're still sleeping right now. And it's like one of those things where it's like you can't handle these kids. >> They they were in the They didn't see any of this. >> No. >> Okay. They kind of stayed asleep. >> You know what I'm saying? I just want to document it because like >> the [ __ ] she's trying to pull on me like oh like tell me like oh because I get drunk some nights and it's like oh you did this and you did that and it's like >> look what you just did like literally >> all every all this is getting documented >> she's pissed off she's pissed off because I'm telling her I'm going to leave I'm going to leave her. >> Did she do this? >> All of it? Yeah. 100%. Take pictures. No, it's it's >> like it's like >> watch theirs though. >> I'm sick of it, dude. I'm so sick of it. >> Let's go over here. My other officer um I just want to get with them, figure out what's going on. And uh >> I would love to hear her side of the story. We talk like I want this this document for sure. It's like got little discrepancies. this one. I'm like, you literally kicked the door cuz I'm listening to music. >> I'll just give you a second while you're on over here in a second. >> Dude, I'm telling you right now, I'm an athlete and I want my girls to be like that way and like this [ __ ] >> Okay, >> I'm not cool with >> Well, we'll figure it out. Uh, everything is going to be vlogged. Every bit of it. It's going to be on body cam. I need you to stay right here, though. >> Well, I don't want to. We don't. Yeah, she's probably trembling right now. She knows sheed up big time. >> They're getting her exhaust and then they're going to come back over. >> You got your body cam and your mics on and everything >> whole time on all of us. So, just give us a give us a little bit. >> Hi. Sorry. >> Hi. >> What's going on? >> Um, yeah. We're in agreement. >> Okay. He was going on about how I'm stupid, worthless in the game of Mary. He killed his ex-wife, fiance, marry me, and he's still looking for the girl that he wants to. He hasn't found her yet. And then he locked himself in the bathroom. And then he's going on listening to this song. He's like, Ariel, like so. Mhm. >> And so I hit the door. He's like, "Oh, I'm going to unlock it." I still I can see under the door. His feet are on the toilet planted. >> Mhm. And he's like, "Areal." And so I busted down the door cuz I was furious. >> Yeah. >> It's just stupid and shitty. And then he's saying that I attacked him. >> Mhm. >> To be fair, like I was aggressive in there because I'm like, "What the are you doing?" >> Mhm. >> Like, "You're going to be moaning about a woman in this house." And then so he threatens me, tells me I need to get the out. So, I come out here and I'm looking for my debit card because the last time I had it was when him and I were out. >> So, I go to his truck and then he starts pushing me into all the bushes. Like, >> I mean, you can't really see anything, but >> he pushed me onto the ground. I get back up. He pushed me down again, pushed me into the bushes. And so, I got into my car and I'm like, "Look, I'm not trying to like instigate anything." Like, >> he wouldn't let me get my shoes. Like, you can see my feet are dirty as from crawling in the dirt. >> Yeah. Like I just wanted it to end and I kept telling him like I'm not talking to you. I'm not talking to you. I'm not talking to you. And he kept pushing and pushing and pushing and pushing like >> verbally coming at me and I was just like >> I just want to leave. He told me to get the out and I'm like okay let me grab my shoes. No, you're not getting your shoes. Like tried to choke me out >> in the dining room and I'm like he's like you have 2 seconds to leave. I'm trying to get my purse after that. trying to get my shoes and I >> I want to be home with my daughters. My youngest is four months old. She's breastfed. I want to be home with her. >> Okay. So, you guys both live here together? >> Yes, we're both on the lease together. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Um who else is in the house? >> Our 2 and 1/ halfyear-old and our fourmonth-old. >> Okay. Um All right. So, how long have you guys been together for then? >> Four 3 years. >> Are you guys married? Okay. >> We're engaged, but >> Okay. Um do you have ID on you? >> Yes. Do you mind if I go back in here? >> That's fine. Do you have any weapons in there? >> No. >> Okay. Do you mind reading him? >> Oh, thank you. >> Thanks. Okay. So, if you left, where would you go? >> I don't have somewhere that I would feel comfortable going. >> Okay. So, but you said you were trying to leave. So, where where would you go? >> I was just wanting to go out to my car. >> Okay. >> Like, I just wanted to sit in here, >> decompress. relax like >> let him deal with his stuff. I'll deal with mine. It's not a problem. >> Does he have anywhere he could go? >> Yeah, I know he stayed before at his job. There are lifeguards. He stayed in the back and just stayed in there like incognito. >> Okay. All right. Are you injured at all? >> Pridefully. But I mean there's nothing that's like visible. But he pushed me in to those bushes and those bushes. And there's actually his key cuz I was holding on to it cuz I was going to turn the truck on to get all the lights on, but instead I just used like the top light. So that fell out when he pushed me into those bushes. >> Okay. And did you attack him at all in there? >> It wasn't a full attack. Like it was more of like, okay, the door's broken because I was >> pissed pissed. >> I was like, if you're going to be moaning about another girl, moaning her name >> Yeah. where I can like I'm just sitting on the bed cuz I told him I was like I'm done with the conversation. I don't want to have it anymore. Yeah. >> And then I'm hearing you >> moaning this girl's name over and over again. And you see feet planted on a toilet. You hear a guy moaning a name. What do you think's happening? >> Mhm. >> So when that whole thing happened, I broke down the door and I like tossed my speaker cuz it's my speaker. He's listening to this girl's music on moaning her name. >> Toss that. And then he's like he like held me up by my neck. So funny. I come back out to the bedroom. He's still coming at me. Coming at like, "Oh, if you think I'm crazy, you're >> Did you just break the door?" >> Yes. >> Did you hit him? >> No. >> Did you throw the speaker at him? >> No, I threw the speaker in the bathtub. >> Okay. All right. Uh, can I see your neck? >> Yes. >> I don't think it's red or anything, but like it's like like I can I know. >> What is this from? from those bushes. >> Okay. And then Okay. Um, stay over here for a second. You stay right there. I'm going to grab my phone. You talked to me. >> Mhm. >> Get behind it. I have all his contact information, all that. Uh there's two kids in the house. One 3 years old, one 4 months. >> Let me show her the same thing real quick so she can then she can talk to me. >> That's fine. You want to do that? >> Yep. If this occurred in the bathroom in the back bathroom back room >> 4month-old sleeping right here. >> I was just sitting peacefully in the bathroom >> like this listening to music. >> Uhhuh. >> And that's how she came in. >> Okay. So she >> That's her >> broke this and this. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Like quick. >> Okay. Did she hit you at all? Yes. >> Okay. >> Right here. But it's like there's no mark because I'm you know it's like what are you gonna I don't know. It's like >> did she hit you anywhere else? >> And I didn't touch her. I was like okay. But then I did. Yeah. I was like listen you want to slap me around and like do all this [ __ ] It's like get out get out. Get out. Get out. And it's like go leave. >> Okay. Did she hit you anywhere else? >> No. She just slapped you in the face >> when I called you guys too >> and had her like removed from my old apartment on and by between that time we have two kids and it's like I'm trying to hold this together but it's like you keep doing this [ __ ] It's like >> so did you choke her at all? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Did you push her into the bushes? >> Yeah. >> Okay. More than one? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um Okay. >> What did she do to me though? You know >> what was she capable? I was like leave. No. No. blah blah blah blah. And I'm like, >> Mhm. >> But she comes at me. >> Mhm. >> She keeps coming and coming and coming and listen to me. Like it's like it's like a different thing. It's like you take all that off and you come at me. >> What do I What am I supposed to do? Oh my god. Like, oh, hurt me until I call the cops and they come show up. Yes. >> I said go, go, go. >> Mhm. So, how did the argument start? Like, what? Because I was listening to a girl that I used to talk to a long time ago and she's very talented and I was like, you know what, like why am I still in this relationship where it's like we have a 4-month-old and like you show me like no love. It's like like and then I listen to like like my past a little bit like where I'm like okay like like you hear the brilliance of like and what talents do you have? Like it's like >> okay >> I just want to clear you know what I mean? Like it's like just like one of those things where it's like okay you're that self conscious and like insecure. It's like >> I'm moving on like because for my daughter's sakes. >> Yeah. >> Like literally >> I don't want to cut you off. Um I just want to write it back that way. We're all on the same page here. >> So you're saying you were in the sitting on the toilet. >> I was literally sitting here listening to music and she was like bam bam bam and I was trying to unlock the door and then it was like >> like Yeah. for for theatrical like effect is like literally I have to fix this. M. So, you're sitting down watching the YouTube video of the artist, >> bro. You want to hear it? Like, it's like literally it would >> I just want to hear that thing's correct. Um, she hears you in here. She's upset. She >> kicks the door and then it breaks off the hinge there. >> I don't know what she did, but when she was beating on the door and I was like, "Bro, let me get up and like open it." And then it was like bam. And I was like, it was >> You're not giving me time to talk here. All right. So, then she comes in. You said she grabbed your phone out of your hand, threw it threw it in the bathtub, grabbed this speaker, threw it in the bathtub, and then got in your or hit you across the face, open palm >> uh with her right hand, I'm assuming, is what you said. >> It was this side. So, it would have been her, right? Yeah. >> It was like she was trying to >> But you're saying at that point, you got up because she was coming after you and you restrained her. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And then at some point, >> I probably could have done a better job, but it was like one of those like, "Get away from me." right now. >> You told her she needed to get out and that's when she went to her car. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Was there anything I missed in between there? >> That's it. >> So, why'd you follow her outside and push her into the bushes then? >> Because she went into my truck. My truck is a Ford F-150 and there's a code on the side and literally I needed to change it because she goes through my truck. >> Mhm. >> And you guys are more than welcome to go through my truck. >> Mhm. >> Like I give you full permission to search my truck. >> She just said she was trying to get her debit card in there. >> It's not in there. >> Okay. Like and I'm like there it has never been in there and it there is no way it is in there unless you planted it in there. Like I promise you go search my truck right now. I promise you you can flip it upside down. >> Okay. >> Like >> okay >> and if you don't think I know what you guys are going through like I used to be a police officer like or they tend to be like a a lifeguard EMT police officer. >> Okay. So, it's like I know what it is and that's why she's so scared of the cops and I'm like there's no reason to be scared. Let's just get the story straight. >> Yeah. >> Like because I want this documented >> for when I go listen everything you're trying to tell me >> about how like crazy I do. I seem crazy to you. >> Be honest. >> That's a That's a good good answer. I'm not sure is what she was going to say before I cut her off. >> Can I Can I have you come in here? I just want to check out your face. That might get on a bike here. >> I've also been in I'm I work on the beach, so I'm like I've been in the sun all day. >> About where on your face did you get >> It's in my I could feel it's like in my jaw here. >> Checked out at all. >> No. >> Okay. >> I just want to make sure the body cam gets everything. So you're saying that lower your left jaw? Yeah, I'm sure there's like nothing there. >> And uh do you want to get on your body cam? The damage >> and I apologize, but like this is for me to be like, listen, you keep telling me like how crazy I am and all this stuff, but it's you. >> As you know, you were you said you're law enforcement. We come here, we get information from all sides, and then we figure out what >> I decided to to leave it because >> you mean to leave it. >> Law enforcement. It's a crazy job, dude. And I guarantee you for a fact I can look at you straight in your face. You haven't seen the [ __ ] I've seen. >> No, probably not. We're in Stewart, Florida. It's not >> exactly. You're not in Daytona Beach. >> So, if you guys were to separate for the night, where would either one of you guys go? >> She can go somewhere cuz I'll take care of these kids cuz I'm off tomorrow for the first time, like I said, in 18 days. >> Okay. And what if she doesn't want to go? >> She can go herself. >> Okay. That's not a resolution, but >> No, that's what I'm saying. Okay. >> Okay. You know what? I will go. I will go. >> We're We're figuring out. We're just seeing what the options are. >> The option is here's here's the option. You >> have a family here. No, here's the option. She stays here. She can get these kids up and she can get them ready and she can take them to school, which I pay for, and I will go. >> Okay. >> Well, we just want to know our options. Um, >> the option is I leave. Okay. >> All right. Well, >> and tell her that. >> All right. Well, we're not settled on anything yet. If you want, >> I have to leave because I don't want to be near this dumb [ __ ] >> Okay. All right. >> All right. She'll be right back. >> She's staying here. I'm leaving. >> Okay, we'll figure it out. Um, >> if I had to sleep in my truck in the parking lot. >> Okay. Well, >> you're alleging that she hit you. You know that these are not small claims, you know. And >> she broke the door to come in to hit me to throw my [ __ ] >> I see that. That's we're investing. >> And then then tries to tell me because I continued to drink. >> Yeah. to tell me how the night went >> over and over and over and over again. >> What was she What was she drinking in her back? >> Just like White Claw or whatever. Yeah, just like >> Is that like the normal like Yeah. Or do you use special occasion tonight or something? >> No. Every single night. >> How? How many you think she had? >> I have no idea. >> No idea. >> Because I didn't drink before her. This we got together in 2021. I didn't drink a lot. >> Yeah. Until 2021. Well, like like every single day. >> All right. So, after speaking with both of you, um I believe you are the primary aggressor and so in any domestic situation, if we can determine one, you could be arrested. The thing is here, if I were to arrest you, I would also have to involve DCF. And I don't have you ever been arrested before? Okay. Has he? Okay. So the thing is like yeah you were upset >> even rightfully but >> I understand >> to kick down the door and then while he was in a whole another room like you could have just separated yourself or just got picked up or something. >> Yes, understood. >> So um here's the thing. I need you guys to separate for the night. >> Okay. >> If I do not take you to jail. >> Yes. >> So that means one of you guys need to go for the night >> at least. >> Um I would prefer if you did. >> Okay. just because like I said, >> I understand. >> Okay. Um he doesn't he's he'll take care of the kids like he'll bring them to school tomorrow. He'll he'll do what he has to do. He said he's off tomorrow. >> Yes. >> Um do you have anyone that can come get you or >> I know you guys have both been drinking, correct? So I don't want you driving. >> Yeah, I don't want to drive either. >> Hotel for the night. >> Um >> I think this is better. >> Yeah, I could probably do a hotel, but I have a credit card inside. Would you be able to go get it or I be Am I allowed to get any clothes or anything? >> I >> we can have you step out. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah, we can do that. >> I'll hang t with her and then you just tell them what's going on here. >> Okay. Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> I do. Um I'll give it to you once >> I just want to make my Okay. What's your first name? >> Brian. >> Okay. Okay. So, I explained to her the severity of the situation. I explained that um I determined that she's a primary aggressor and that she could be arrested and that I would have to take her contact ECF and all this. >> No. I told her that she needs to go. She'll figure it out. >> No, no, no, no, no, no. She's dumb. She can't leave. >> Why not? She can leave for the night. That's what you wanted. >> That's a bad idea. >> Why? Why is that a bad idea? >> How's she going to leave? >> She's going to have someone pick her up. >> Are your body cam? Okay. >> Body cam. >> Okay, that's fine. >> You know, she's going to have someone pick her up. >> Okay, I know who it is. Okay, that's fine. >> Okay. Um, this was in the bushes. This is yours, correct? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um >> that that she had to do that. This is the key to my truck. >> Okay. >> Which sits in my truck because I literally leave it in my truck and go like this. >> Okay. Anyways, I'm going to need you to step out of the apartment, the house, whatever, for a few minutes so she can come in, grab her shoes, cards, whatever. >> All right. >> Just don't interact. So, do you actually take him over that way? You >> take him out that way. >> You want to go near my car? >> And I'll go in there with her. Make sure she drops whatever she needs to grab. Okay. >> Yep. >> Thank you. >> I'm going to spray this car down here before it comes in. >> Good thing I'm lost. They got two kids. Yeah. >> Yeah. You got any While Christy returned to the apartment to gather her belongings, Brian remained outside with officers. His demeanor shifted noticeably when an additional officer arrived on scene. >> You want to sit on my front bumper? It's usually most comfortable. >> Okay. This is going to change everything. >> Okay. Well, it's all documented like you said you wanted. So, everything's on body cam. Everything's going to be in the report. So, >> do you read? >> Do I read? Not a ton. >> You should do a ton more. >> Ton more. Which book do you like? >> A lot of them. >> Like what style? Kind of everything or >> kind of everything. >> Fiction. Nonfiction. >> Oh, there's there's Moose. She better take that dog with her. >> Who's your favorite author? >> Okay. He wrote >> Esp. >> Okay. >> Is he the one that wrote The Alchemist? >> Yes. >> Yes. >> I heard I heard that's a really good reach. >> Let me I can turn it down. >> How are you? Good. Tell been a rough night tonight. >> Has it? >> I can tell. >> No, for you you guys. Yeah. >> Oh, I was going to say >> rough night for you guys. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I bet you, you know, avoid the rough. >> It's part of the job. >> Is it? >> Or part of your life? >> Both. >> You got a baby face. >> Thanks. He's told every single day. >> I'm told that every single day. >> I bet you do. >> I take it as a compliment. >> Yeah. Especially >> I look younger than old. Come to Daytona. We'll rough that thing up real quick. >> You going back to Daytona? >> No. >> It's like, dude, you guys are It's poverty. >> It's not that bad. >> It's a black. >> I almost got a job up there. Not Not in law enforcement. >> Go for it. >> Yeah, I drove through. It didn't look too bad. >> I know. In Aeronautical University. >> No. >> Yeah, >> I was looking at >> Rich Kids. Go ahead. >> That's not where I was getting a job. But >> where are you going to get a job? In Daytona. Okay. Insurance company. >> Yeah. Okay, if I had to guess, ready? You have been with Steuart PD for 2 and 1/2 years tops. >> You have been with Steuart PD for one and a half years tops. >> Am I wrong? >> You're not right, but you're close. >> I'd say you're pretty close. >> Still a job. We still do the same stuff. >> Leave your car unlocked in Daytona. Literally a [ __ ] box on the side of the road. Like my car that used to be like this thing. cars burglarized most. >> You have no clue >> because the doors are locked. We have had especially recently a lot of issues. >> Where'd you go to Where did you go to cop school? >> Over here. >> Over here. Okay. >> Where did you go? >> Daytona. >> Daytona. >> Yeah. >> What? Uh, is that college or do they got their own >> Daytona State College? Yeah. I have a four-year degree from there and also I have my EMT, a four-year degree, and my FDLE certified police officer ship. What made you leave the EMT to do the life? >> I'm still an EMT and a lifeguard in Palm Beach and I still get paid for it. Like >> I left the badge in the gun because I I loved liberal arts so much that I was like literally if you look into it and look into it and look into it, it's like how dumb is it? >> Just give us a little bit once you get on out of here. >> It's like I would love to give you a ride, dude. >> Oh, never do that. >> I'm kidding. I know you're in uniform. >> What do you mean by that? >> Okay. When you went through defensive tactics, do you think you could take me? You're in the danger zone. What's the danger zone? >> What does that have to do with anything right now? >> I'm just saying like you're like your posture is all wrong. >> Because of atrophy. It's literally skill atrophy. >> Yeah. >> Because of the where you're at. >> I'm going to tell you right now, I could take your ass on right now. So, we're not playing this game. Yeah. Dude, you can't even balance straight right now. >> You're t You're just talking. >> Me? >> So, we're not here for that right now. >> I know cuz it would become official, but it's like he's just barking. >> We're We're here to separate you guys for the night because we're called here. All right. >> I know. >> So, let us do our job. >> Escalate things. We can escalate things. But right now, like exactly like how you said, >> you can escalate things, not me. >> Okay. >> No, we're not. We're not here to escalate things. We're here to deescalate. See, it's like that's what I'm saying. Read. Read some more. Watch. Watch. >> I don't need to read anything. >> I bet you don't. >> It's not you. You don't need to read anything from me. >> What's wrong? >> It's just funny because you're going to live your whole life here in Steuart, Florida, and you're going to never experience what I've experienced. >> I don't care what you experience. >> I know you don't. And I don't care what you're >> saying. We're not here for the past. We're here to work this call right out. >> So, go ahead. Work it up. Let's go. Let's keep going. Let's go. Let's go. Let's keep going. Keep going. Tell me how you don't care what I experienced. Tell me how you don't care what I experienced, brother. >> Tell me more about how you don't care what I've experienced, brother. >> Go ahead. >> Stop. >> All right. I know. >> Tell me more. Tell me more. I'm grabbing this. >> You know what this is? You know what this is? >> You know what this is right here? You know what this is right here? You're trying to make room.
