Don't leave We ain't playing these games. Because I took my medicine like 2 seconds ago. So I took my What started as a simple stop blowing a stop sign quickly spiraled into a master class in poor life choices. Officers pulled over a vehicle only to find a driver without a license, no insurance, and a passenger [music] list that defied logic. As the sun went down, the excuses came out, turning a routine traffic violation into a chaotic hunt for hidden contraband. This wasn't just about a missed sign. We just came from We're going to walk you back to where our car is. We walked from the right turn. Leave all your stuff in the car. Yeah, but can I just grab my You can leave it. Why can't I get out of the car right now? While the officer was being chill and talking about Spanish night at the local Tiki House, the red flags were flying high. They claimed to be out taking pictures of trees by a school, but showing no insurance on the app told a much darker tale. Now, everyone had to step out. >> Yeah, I'm just going to go over there. Can you call my mom by the way? Okay. Yeah, I'm sorry. Step out for me. I'm going to be sick. I'll throw up right here then. Look, you're good. Just stay here. You'll be all right. I don't like this. I don't have any money. All right. All right. Cuz I don't know what your ritual is. Just leave that. Leave it. And go walk over there. We're all getting out. I don't have my bag. One second. You can leave your You can leave your stuff in the car. Well, can you just give me a second cuz I just had surgery on my tonsils. Okay. You can leave all your stuff in the car. Just give me a second. Just step out the car, please. Everyone got out easy but you. And we're going to take you out. Please get out of the car. I was just trying to get Okay, you want to get out or we're going to pull you out. No, I'm going to get out. >> Okay, so get out. Can you just explain to me what Okay, you I'm going to put you in cuffs. Get out. I'm not playing this game. Everybody got out but you. Okay, well it's just he's too close to me. You can get out. Okay, okay, okay. Okay. She started throwing out every excuse in the book from tonsil surgery to being woozy from medication just to avoid standing up. It was a pathetic display of stalling that only made the cops more suspicious. Honestly, the level of dysfunction and lack of critical thinking skills shown here was terrifying. >> Get out, please. What are you hiding? It's just my phone. It's just my phone. Don't We ain't playing these games. Because I took my medicine like 2 seconds ago. So I took my medicine so I'm like Let me not. You're walking perfectly fine. What's in that car that you don't want us to see? Nothing. I don't have any Give her uh Give her stuff. I'm not nervous of the police. That's it. I don't know why you're freaking out. If you ain't got to do nothing, what are you freaking out for? Because I had a bad experience with the police. But listen, you weren't freaked out the other day where you had all our guns drawn at Taco Bell. So why you freaked out now? Well, I wasn't Yeah, but I wasn't Yeah, that's because I know the guy and you guys came a little crazy to him. That's all. Okay, but you But you see, you weren't scared then. But now you're scared. It make no sense. >> It's just because I mean if you guys I mean if you guys were to test me right now, I have narcotics inside of me because I just had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. So I guess it's prescribed. >> Okay. But I've never taken medication like this. Um I've been prescribed No, it's ibuprofen 800 and then they gave me amoxicillin and then Babe, what's the other medicine they gave me? Hydrocodone uh ibuprofen And so I took them before I left because I was in pain so I had to >> it's it's okay if you took it, but Yeah, I mean Yeah, she said there is narcotics in there. She just got her wisdom teeth pulled. And she's got Except for being vague Yeah, she's got like hydrocodone and stuff like that, but thing is that she did not want to get out. Yeah, I saw that. He I saw that cuz I I mean I just got her ID. I was at the funny your car just waiting with with them. Uh on the driver's side he hit the scene. I was like, huh. But he didn't There was no follow through on the passenger side. He went real slow and Cuz of the sidewalk and it was right at the So The officer wasn't buying the scared of police act, especially since she was supposedly recording them just a few days prior. She tried to deflect by rambling about wisdom teeth and hydrocodone, hoping the prescribed narcotics excuse would cover up the sketchiness. It was a weak attempt to play the victim. Front passenger door. The van front of me in base. She's full of [ __ ] Could be Yeah. Just get one of those out, too. She's got a dental schedule so Well, she's got some prescription. And when y'all pulled up on me that the other day at our Bostons and when I had the the Quintana Yeah. He said that the that he was getting a map for the back passenger. Oh, okay. Yeah. That We're going to find the money. Nothing. Stop. Stop. Bro, nothing. While she was busy listing every pill in her cabinet, the officers were busy playing hide and seek with the car's interior. The cops weren't buying anything, especially since she was recording them just days prior. It's hard to act terrified of the police when you were front row at their last show. The search was heating up, and it was only a matter of time before they found something more than just ibuprofen. Oh, we got a single zero. Wow. Yeah. Oh, that's what she was Got it. Now, so we got a single zero in the car. I'm still here. Unbelievable. Captain, going back to one. It's a friendly question. I'm going to have to be friendly to get my stuff back. Okay. Huh? No, it's that simple. I want my gun again. We're better in a double relationship. In a double relationship? I don't know what that Poly relationship. Poly. It means they're all dating. Right? We're both married. >> All three of you guys are married? No, me and her are married. You guys are married >> Legally married. also dating him. Yeah, we're I'm dating. Yeah, we're happy to go to Utah and so we're going to all get married. That law is not possible. Who told you that? You can't marry It's coming. Are you guys Mormon? Mormon? What is that? It's a religion It's a religion where they believe in more than one Muslim. I am going to be a Muslim one day. And then I have a girlfriend. I don't even know. Damn, that's wild. Refusing to get out of the car. Huh? Refusing to get out of the car. I didn't refuse. Around between the seats and stuff. I wasn't. Yeah, I'm sure. I mean, you can't tell me what I did if you weren't, you know, If I wasn't right there watching you. >> Didn't do it. See anything, so What's your name? My name? Officer Vanderhoof. I didn't say Officer Vanderhoof. Van Van der Vanderhoof. She got it. Vanderhoof. Captain, just please don't talk right now. The wife got it. Can I please make a phone call, please? No. When am I able to do that? The search finally hit pay dirt when the cops found single zero in the car. Meanwhile, the conversation took a turn into the bizarre as they tried to explain their double relationship. It's wild how people will try to explain their love life while their car is being searched for cocaine residue. I don't know. Either way, when we're done or if we go to jail, you get one at the jail. But am I allowed to make a phone call? No. He doesn't answer the question. No, cuz I'm Not while you're detained. No. I'm not allowed to The way he threw my vape though, like Am I hidden? No. Yeah. Can I just relax, please? Is there anything about us we should look for? No, it's at my home. I took it before I left. I took two 600 ibuprofen, the amoxicillin and what else? Hydrocodone. It shouldn't be in the car. My medication is. His medication's in the car. I don't know what it's called, but it's in the middle console. He said he doesn't know the name, but it's in the middle. Look. Look. Look. Look. You don't see that? Oh, I see him. >> Oh my god. I was right there, too. Yeah, he's prepping food for tomorrow. Yep. Yep, that's why she How many people do we have? Three. All three of them here. I think it's some weed. Mhm. A little white on it. You know, we're just scratching the surface and then [ __ ] She's coming out. It's gone. Yeah. She's just unsteady right now. Right. Cuz I'm just curious as to what else we got. Again, cuffs can only come off if Not a big deal. It's going to be like one stone one zero done. Julissa tried to play the I didn't refuse to get out card, but the body cam footage literally had the receipts of her stalling for ages. She was desperate to make a phone call, but Vanderhoof wasn't having it. When you're detained for a felony investigation, you don't get to live stream your side of the story. It's stolen. What's that? What's that? Mhm. I don't jump around with 192 straps. Got it. Is that your cell phone? It's back here, too. Yeah. Couple little speckles. Right in there, but it's It's really faint. What's in here? Did you mix something? Yeah, they're all sealed. I want Oh, look at that. That was a good one. What's this? Right there. Mhm. Oh, that is very blue. Yep. Yep, that is. Let me see. I'll grab whatever you want. It's a void. There's cocaine residue All over. all over in the trunk. All over. Yeah, he's got some more. Yeah. And then we got the scale, which in itself isn't But But here's more than I would go denying, but But all the cocaine residue that we found in the scale and the jars Well, the the the the scale I mean, we could try wiping it again. I just did a quick wipe and I didn't get anything. If there's no residue on the scale these two are not linked, even though we know they're linked. And like these jars, I guarantee they held weed. But you know, Do me a favor. I'm just going to have you stand up. I'll help you up. Ready? Just on this right side of your pants. Yes. Okay, we We want to know that. Just one question. Cooperate. Yeah. Okay. So, Who's filing this time? The excuses for the drugs and the stripper money were flowing faster than the booze at a tiki house party. They found a digital scale and jars that definitely didn't hold spices, plus cocaine residue scattered throughout the trunk. Despite the we just met and I'm just a passenger excuses, the evidence was painting a very different, very illegal picture. I'm being so relaxed. It's not mine. I know for sure it's not Captain's. It's Captain's literally, but I mean, I've been hanging out with him for a couple days. It's the first time she's getting And then Dennis, I mean, he gives people rides all You guys co-owners? No. Okay, are you on Are you on the registration, >> No, I'm not. Okay. I'm on the insurance. And he said he hasn't paid You wear these a lot? Yeah. I can tell. Not them. Not the socks. They're brand new. The socks are brand new. Yes. What's that tattoo say? Beautiful disaster? Yeah. Did that hurt on your foot? Had to. Actually, yeah, it did. That was back in the day when we used to smoke K2. Like when spice was around. I was like 15 years old. >> K2? Smoking at 15. I know K2, right? It's crazy. Did that hurt more than your face? Mhm. Yeah. Mhm. That didn't hurt the most though. Really? Yeah, and the one that I got on the inside of my legs. Oh, yeah. I would think that your legs would hurt. A lot of cash in there. Nah. Stripper money. >> Stripper money. Stripper money. Yeah, boy. You're a stripper? Nah, I love strippers. You love strippers. You got two two girlfriends. So what? How much does one man need? I said the same thing. How much can you handle? He's insatiable. How much can you handle? Not as much as you, I guess. You're a lot better than me. Can't have that. I ain't going to hurt nobody. All right. Just I just quick question. Are you registered as a convicted felon within the county? Yeah. All right. So, you're going to come with me for possession of firearm by a convicted felon. And then you're going for resisting. The fashion choices were just as criminal as the car's contents. Looking at her outfit, what the hell was she trying to wear? Just because it comes in your size doesn't mean you should wear it. She spent her time bragging about brand new socks and foot tattoos from her K2 smoking days at 15. When did I resist? When we told you five times to get out of the car and you >> still got up on my own. That's not how it works. I got to lock the car. Put my stuff here. I'm not resisting. Yeah, what you want? Okay, wallet wallet phone. What else you want? There's another pair of keys. In the car? I got to register the number for her. No. Yeah, I told him I forgot. Yeah. All right. Um, there should be another pair of keys, like house keys with the car keys. All right. All right, I'll go look for them. All right. Uh there should should be another pair of keys in there. Those are all your phones? All three of them? Yeah. Uh-huh. Okay. For what? No, I'm just curious. Two work. Two of them work. And the other one doesn't. Just for like pictures. Memories, Snapchat. No problem with me. >> Friends, whatever you want to know. Yeah, no problem with me. Um all right, so you're going to be released. Um so just stand up, we're going to take your handcuffs and put your boots back on and all that. After speaking with Julissa, the officer attempted to question Dennis. However, he invoked his rights and chose not to speak. Throughout Dennis' criminal history, it was discovered that he was a convicted felon. Based on the facts and evidence, Julissa was in violation of FS 843.02, resisting without violence. Um we will be notifying your probation officer. Yes. Either me or one of the sergeants or whoever. Um but All right. All right. Huh? So just I would notify them. Right away. Yeah. Notify them now. Give them a voicemail or something. I don't know Yeah, I know. what the [ __ ] was I supposed to do? Yeah, nobody knew, so you can't do nothing about that. All right. But am I would I get in trouble Whose stuff [laughter] is it? Yours? I got mine around there. Yeah, these are mine. Never mind. This whole encounter was a circus of bad decisions and even worse excuses. From the unlicensed driver to the medicated passenger hiding a scale, it was a miracle they even made it to the stop sign they blew. They tried to act like they were just a misunderstood family, but the cocaine residue said otherwise. In the end, the law caught up with their beautiful disaster lifestyle, leaving them with more charges than friends. Dennis was hauled off to jail on a heavy charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a serious strike against his record. Julissa didn't walk away clean, either. She was charged with resisting an officer without violence after her prolonged refusal to exit the vehicle. Drop a comment below and let us know what you think about this wild roadside soap opera.
