on March 19th 2023 at approximately 6:34 a.m. officers responded to a commercial establishment in response to an alarm activation an employee at the location had received a notification from the alarm company on their phone upon arrival it was observed that the front door of the establishment was open prompting the employee to contact the authorities one that called in inside the door and uh knock open okay oh okay I'm going to wait for one more hey there he is right there and then I'll go ahead and I'll clear for you technically out here you guys have cameras inside recording what about this individual then returned and approached the door shaking it with Force the lock on the door failed allowing him to make entry into the building there were two showcases that had been forcefully opened both of the glass doors had been taken off their tracks and were lying next to the showcases the display boxes had been Disturbed and strewn about the Showcase some of which ended up on the floor once the building was safe two of the storekeepers were invited to enter they stated that most of the display cases were kept empty and any items over $11,000 US currency were placed in a safe they could not readily say what was missing without doing an inventory police canvased the parking area behind the storefront they did not find anyone matching that description when they came back to the front of the store officer Mitchell was taking fingerprints from the front door when a male walked by that looked similar to the male in the video they told the maale to stop to which he complied the street
