We have all seen it before. You were sitting at a red light and a police cruiser slowly rolls through the intersection with its lights flashing. Looking completely lost for seemingly no reason at all. Most of the time it looks like a mistake. But this time it is a highly calculated trap. Watch what happens when an Arkansas State Trooper sets up the perfect ambush for a reckless driver that has already fled the Brooklyn Police Department. The high-speed crash is absolutely brutal. But wait until you hear the unbelievable excuse this driver gives for his erratic behavior. Just imagine how confused the people at this intersection are. But the officer isn't lost. He's getting ready for what's about to come. He finds the perfect driveway and the suspect is driving right to him. And just as he turns around, he believes he spots who he's after, but this is where all hell breaks loose. As soon as he hits the lights, the suspect takes off, but what he says after the crash may be more jaw-dropping than the crash itself. >> Watch what this hardened criminal resorts to and his excuse for what he just did. It's mind-blowing. >> The four people involved in the vehicle were transported to the hospital with injuries. Luckily, no one was seriously harmed in this crash. For his actions, Mr. Phillips received several charges, was subject to a blood draw, and then taken to jail. He was ordered to wear a GPS and blood ankle monitor. His bond was set at $150,000. >> Mhm.
