on June 1st 2023 officers were called when two teens were caught stealing from Walmart but after they were caught they started to become very emotional hello what do you got this says 05 sorry so it's 4055 um this one is the one on the left and the other okay um you want T charge as I take it all right so girls you have the right to remain silent anything you say can be is in the core law you have the right to attorney if you can't afford one M ride for a free cost do you understand your rights and what that mean um so what happened if you wish to tell me you don't have to didn't have money did you hide it on you or okay same thing for you yeah I'm hanging out with and everything okay are you got you both both homeless or you from the area from where okay what brings you up here same thing of shorts under under so the UND shorts or the outer ones the under the black's take a seat put your hands like this like so like I said right now you guys are under arrest for theft okay do you um do you guys have Bond money at all that you could get out I have no money I have $25 you have someone that can bring you B Money how much 300 put your hands together can I call you could call T's parents would have it right now I telling my family don't eat my ass I'm going to ask you to wait to use your phone but once we get in my car I'll give them back to you and you can use them um if you can't find out then you'll have you'll have to stay in jail overnight and you'll go to court for thing tomorrow morning okay do you have IDs on you no mine's at home expired yeah have you been through this yet yeah all right thank you you you no I didn't go through that is that mine I saying I don't remember grabbing that cuz I saw that there was already one in the that was from my mom got a SP and good shot if I find out you there you're get twice you'll get so is that are those stolen then yeah those are mine no those are M the other one yeah I gave the other right how about this that was from my house I keep that in my purse for when I go to my friend's house you sure this is yours yeah my mom I swear to God my mom guys don't even have a wallet or anything no wallet that's at my house too so number yeah I do not okay how old are you 19 so does this go on if you get convicted it could yeah but right now you're just being charge with it you're not convicted until it's all through the court system and everything like so what does like that mean like like so if I'm like Hest the judge I then it would be up to him um the victim which is Walmart what they want to do um the prosecutor what they want to do so it it's going to be a few months through the court system before you know depends on if you get a lawyer if you don't what you decide to ple all right what's a phone number for you to like call somebody to call you oh no I just looked it up it's not the end of your career I've seen believe me I've seen much worse Department don't like that they don't like it but you made a mistake okay and how do you say your first name and your birthday and um just homeless for your address right now do you have a phone number and what's your social security number they and apply to the [Music] a wow this is including okay 186 so 1856 he an old older guy but what I'm saying is I watched you walk in the bathroom Okay so there's three PA yeah and those two are mine in the middle and he had two sons I can't remember their names so what they can do is put them in a bag and TI them up cuz we damage anyway so they can just be disposed of or you want them all back here out out we can't resol okay and then I'll figure out a pair of shorts when you call and I'll add it 180 want they're not going to do it again do you want to see if you can find oh okay we got new ones so we got car on that or is that okay if you don't mind this is the first girl um she says she's from Florida homeless she doesn't have an address but neither of them know their soas or anything so just name in B find it they have no ideas okay so we're about to go in um when you guys get out I want you to bring the clothing that is stolen back to me at the PD okay okay so instead of me waiting there and waiting for you guys to strip down and take everything off bring it back to me when you get out make sure you do that cuz it's going to go a lot better for you if you do I'll put my business card with your belongings so you'll get it when you get out okay okay am I getting everything back that was like that was mine in the purse though M okay yep it'll be with your belongings um and if we get build out do we get our belongings back as far as what do you mean I have my car keys it oh yeah I put it all in her purse yeah do you want me to separate it or separate her stuff from mine what do you need just your car key um the car key and I think it was $5 the5 okay I have my phone my that's all mycket the I don't need the pops just the the $5 and the cocky is yeah C so second don't let this ruin your lives okay you're both young you're way more decent than half the people IRS trust me and you've already admitted that hey you messed up we made a mistake yeah okay we've hired cops we've hired firemen that have had charges on their history okay just the main thing is you admit you made a mistake and you go for it from here and don't do it again it's not good but it happens does it have to be a check for the bail money it's got to be a money order so like no cash no credit cards or anything I'm pretty sure it has to be a money order um so if I if somebody's willing to help me out I won't I won't be able to use my cash app card I don't believe so when we get in here we can ask the Corrections Officers cuz they know more than I do cuz I have a few of my friends that are willing to tell me I'll that owe me money already okay when we get in here um we'll ask them okay they'll let you use their phone when you get in there let you make like one or two phone calls I don't remember nobody's phone off the top of my head um am I allowed to like cuz my cousin's supposed to be can I write her number on my arm or something I'll write it on my card and then I'll put it in your pocket okay thank you they were charged with retail theft from the looks of how emotional they became which led to tears do you think there's a possibility that jail will scare them straight and make them
