Watch the dog. Watch the dog. >> You know, you don't think the dog's going to live? >> He's He needs to go to the doctor. He's literally breathing, but he's choking. >> Okay. >> I wishation. Oh, >> easy. >> Oh, >> this horse was just seconds away from drowning in the frigid water until two officers showed up to save the exhausted animal at the last minute. Come on, buddy. >> On February 24th, 2025, a horse owner, Ally Ernest, noticed that one of her three horses was missing. She ran to the pond and found her 22-year-old horse, Sly, had fallen through the ice. She grabbed Sly's halter to keep his head above water and screamed for help. When officer Kyle Clinton arrived, he knew they had minutes before hypothermia would kill the exhausted animal. >> I wish I had sedation. Oh, >> easy. >> Oh, >> easy. >> Easy. >> Let me go on the side. Let me go outside. Let me go on the side. >> Go with me. Don't have us fall. >> Come here. Just run across the ice. >> But here's the problem. Two people can't pull, 1300 lb of panicked horse from freezing water. Sly was getting weaker by the second. More officers rushed to the scene. Even neighbors dropped everything to help. It took several people pulling together to drag slide to safety. Grab the rope. 1 2 3. Come on, buddy. Come on. Grab this rope. I'm going to grab the front leg. >> Come on, baby. We got this. >> Ready? One, two, three. One, two, three. Come on. Come on. >> Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on over. We got you. >> Come on. Go. Right there. Get in there. >> 1 2 3. >> Come on, buddy. Come on, little boy. Let's go. [Music] 1 2 3. >> Come on. >> Keep going. >> Come on, buddy. >> Go. Come on. >> He's up. >> Just watch out. He's going to pop up. >> Easy. >> Easy. >> Guide him right off. >> I got him. >> You're all right. I got him. If they'd shown up one minute later, Ali would have watched her beloved horse drown right in front of her. Instead, Sly made full recovery, and the only downside is that his playtime on the ice is no longer allowed, as Ally put up an electric fence around the pond. Despite this accident, there's no doubt Ally loves her animals. But what happens when it's the owner who puts the pet in danger? >> She threw him. He's He's in shock. He's bleeding from the mouth. He's breathing, though. shallow, but he's breathing. He's not responding. >> For some ungodly reason, the horrible owner of a mini poodle named Rocket threw the one-year-old pup off a ledge in a park. Luckily, Officer Kelsey Garcia was nearby and responded to the call immediately. But what she saw at the scene made her immediately burst into tears. Rocket had internal bleeding, a fractured femur, and other wounds that could have killed him. This innocent puppy was fighting for his life. But after a difficult surgery and weeks of physiootherapy, Rocket made a full recovery and even reunited with the heroic cops who saved his life. Soon after this reunion, Rocket found his new forever home with people who actually deserve him. His ex-owner, 26-year-old Cleopatra Morgan, was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, toring in or not feeding an animal, criminal possession of a weapon, and false person. That rescue had a happy ending. But the next officers almost missed two more dogs who desperately needed help. >> Hey, uh, I got bull cutters in my car. >> On June 4th, 2025, officers were dispatched to a fire in the area of Fourth Way. They quickly evacuated all the residents, but they almost walked away from two more dogs who needed saving. He's getting bolt cutters. >> Come on. >> Oh. All right. All right. All right. All right. Get out. Get out. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Come here, buddy. Come on. >> The other one. >> Yeah. Yeah. Come here, buddy. Is it coming? >> Here. Puppy. Puppy. We're >> getting him. >> You're naked. Come here. Come here. Come on. Get out. Get out. Get out. Get out. Get out. Get out. Come on. Go. Go. Come on. You got him. Here. Get one. Get one. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. You got the other one. Come on, buddy. Come on. Come on, buddy. I got you. Good. Go. Pulling puppies out of a dangerous situation is exactly what the badge is for. Just like this cop who risked his own life to save his dog from a tornado. Officer Joel Nichman in Deer Park, Texas, stepped out in the middle of a tornado to save his K-9 partner. Things got really dangerous when the winds picked up, which made it difficult to open the door or get the dog out. But it all worked out in the end. Now that's a man worthy of his dog, just like the next cop whose canine got injured by a suspect. >> Watch the dog. Watch the dog. That was the moment K9 Officer Huck got hit in a crossfire between the police and armed suspects. He had been shot so many times that the department had to airlift him to an emergency vet in Jacksonville Beach. >> Right here. Right here. >> My med kit. >> Get mine. >> No, not a tourniquet. Right. Right here. >> No, no, no. It's the green back here. >> I'm going to keep him from biting you. >> Does what you need. >> I need whatever to stop this bleeding. >> Push. Push. We got >> I got a turret right here. >> Hey, I got some. I'll be right back. >> I need >> right here. Call coming out. >> Pack it. Pack it. Come on, boys. Come on. Come on. I'll jump in your car. I'll drive. You hold it. We'll do a load and go. >> Okay. Okay. Hold on. >> We got to get the wound and we'll go. >> It's going to be okay. >> Pack it as tight as you can. >> Get out of here. >> We're gone. We're gone. We got to stop the bleeding. >> Get out of here now. >> Grab him, Jason. >> Get on him. >> Let's go. Let's go. Help me. Help me. Back it up. Back it up. >> What car are we going? >> Where's your car at? Is the pack good? Not >> yet. I'm trying, buddy. I'm fine. >> Is it blown out? >> Yes. >> Is it blown out this side? >> I can't tell yet. >> Belly side. >> No, it doesn't look like it. >> It's okay. >> Are we ready to move? >> Yeah. Let's hear the whole thing. >> Was he getting ready to fly away? Huh? Who's getting ready to fly away? >> Other side. Other side. Other side. He's keep wanting to get up. Come on. >> No [ __ ] >> Yeah, Jack. They're supposed to be finding you a landing zone out there. Watch the rotor. Whatever. Oh, man. I don't think so. I think it was police, but he was reaching. They shot. I couldn't tell what was going on. And I heard him yell. He's good. Good boy, Bubba. Good boy, Bubba. You as a good boy. Yeah, you is. You're a good boy. I'm here. So his back left hind leg is the worst. I think it's got an artery bleed. >> It hit his front wrist and he's also got a round through his neck and his chest. Huck was in critical condition, but much to everyone's relief, he survived. Besides losing one leg, he's now enjoying retirement and living a full life with his handler, who hopefully won't have to run into bullets for him ever again. While that officer risked everything for his partner, the next situation involved 36 innocent dogs locked in a hot U-Haul. [Music] [Applause] [Music] 100. >> Go get some gloves on. >> Come here, mama. >> Some of the dogs were pregnant, others were new mothers. Yet, all of them were crammed in a horrible container, which led to heat related emergencies and serious health problems. Despite everyone's efforts to save all 36 dogs, one had to be euthanized. The owners of the truck, Dexter and Linda, face 36 counts of animal cruelty, which quite frankly is nothing when compared to their horrible actions. The remaining 35 pups are all on their way to their new homes with air conditioning. Yet, those cops didn't face the heat like the next officers. [Music] What does >> officers in Arizona had to break open a citizen's door to save some four-legged occupants? [Music] I got him. I got him. I got him. [Music] Okay. [Music] >> The puppies were reunited with their mom before they were taken to the vet for respiratory checkups. Sadly, one of them didn't make it, but the remaining six would live long enough to have pups of their own. Sometimes officers save animals from fires and accidents. Other times they save them from their own owners. >> Two time. >> Where you at? Hey, Serge 182. This uh it's a puppy and I I can't see it, but it's crying. It appears to be in distress. [Music] Go ahead and get in. 2124. Are you milk? >> Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. 12. Y'all got any water? >> I do. >> It's not really cold cuz I've had it a little >> one of >> Oh, look at him. He know. >> Yeah. >> Oh, >> let me You don't mind holding him? Let me grab a >> Judging by how thirsty the little pup was, it's safe to say the officer acted just in time. said it was it's been at least 20 30 minutes since we got here and then now it's almost an hour or so and they still haven't came back. That dog would have been dead by then. >> Yeah. Well, we got to call at 12:55. Um and you know, >> as for the vehicle's owners, a broken window would be the least of their problems compared to their animal cruelty charges they would face. And they wouldn't be alone. >> Back up, buddy. I know. You're so hot in here. Good boy. Good boy. Let's get out of here. Yeah. Come here. Come here. Good girl. Oh, that's a good girl. Stay here. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Good boy. Good girl. Good girl. Yeah, we'll get you some water. Don't worry. >> There you go. >> I don't I think you're whatever stuff is down here is getting a little wet. Are you okay with that? I don't know what to think. >> The dog was so thirsty it drank a whole liter of water before visiting the vet. And it seems like her owners wouldn't be getting her back until the investigation is over. Odd cars are bad enough, but the next situation was even worse. [Music] >> Another box for another. They're so hot. Oh my god, she's under these dogs rolling. They're so hot there. These dogs. >> That one's not That one's like not doing good at all. Oh, that's good. Oh, I thought it [Music] >> I think that one needs water. >> The one thing worse than abandoning your dog in a car is putting puppies in a bag without any way to breathe properly. These animals treated innocent lives like they were nothing more than garbage. Just like in the next case. I just you see that string? What's on the string? >> Um I don't think there's not enough attachment yet. So they're getting ready to load his [Laughter] What the [ __ ] ever see? [Applause] more. >> I'm going to send some memes. >> Chicken lover or not, no sane person would want to watch delicious chickens fighting for their lives. That's just too far. Which is why Albuquerque police officers busted this illegal fighting event to rescue six roosters. Hopefully, they are off to their new job of crowing at 4:00 a.m. Hi, pal. How are you? Run around. Come on. Let's go this way. Come on. Let's go this way. Let's go this way, big guy. While the horse was testing its horsepower on the road, someone called the officers claiming the four-legged Mustang was lost and wandering around. In response, an Ohio Highway Patrol trooper had to find him and bring him home. >> 1604. I may not actually come out. >> Okay, I've got the horse. [Music] Hey, how you doing? Is >> this one yours? That's right. Where? >> All right. He's He's out running around the road. >> Oh my god. >> Oh my goodness. >> Hello. >> All right. Hold on. Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> Come on. Let's go. We're going to have to go in the other side. Yeah. Where was he? I when I pulled up, he was running back into the driveway, but we got a call. He was out in the roadway. >> Oh, okay. >> But in the next case, the dog got himself stuck in a pool. >> No, he's right here. It's a big dog. [Music] >> Razo, we got the dog out. Following that amazing rescue, the terrified dog was later reunited with his owners. For their sake, I hope they watch him better next time. But in the next case, a bobcat got itself stuck inside a car. >> That feline suspect was non-compliant, hissing and resisting arrest. The officers had no choice but to detain him. At least he wasn't a DUI. But sometimes these rescue missions are rather cut. Just like with this officer rescuing a raccoon in danger, >> we're going to help you, buddy. Hold on. It's okay, boy. That's felony level ungratefulness. I bet that raccoon's already nose deep in another snack jar. Just like this dog launched its nose into the officer's arms. >> Okay, I get it. Stuff happens. We're all human, right? I get it. Hi, Poppers. Is the vehicle in your name, ma'am? It is. Who's the insurance provider? [Music] Thank you so much, Officer Silver. No problem. >> Either that golden retriever was jealous of the attention the other dog was getting, or it just loves a man in uniform. Great catch, officer, but I wouldn't say the same for the next pocket-sized gas grenade. Thanks. Can I help you? Let me help you out. Hey, go show me your butt. Saving a skunk from one cup is always tricky. Saving a skunk with its head stuck in two cups. Now that requires a medal of valor. Come here. Got it. 413. >> What a nice ending. The skunk gets to rumage in more bins and the officer gets to smell nice for another day. The next officer got herself into a stinky situation, too, to save a disoriented dog. Yeah, >> you're okay. Thank you. >> What do you say? Thank you so much. >> Thank you. >> Oh my gosh. >> Give her a round of applause. >> We've heard of man's best friend, but any lady who's willing to crawl into a 60 ft culvert to save a dog is definitely a dog's best friend, just like the next officer who saved a little baby deer. >> Hey, sorry to bother you, but I have a baby deer on the side of 23. Do you think I should try to move it a little further off the road? Uh, it's on the shoulder in the grass. That's what I think. Well, that's why I called the expert. All right. Well, I'm going to pick this thing up and move it into the grass cuz it's in a really bad spot. Hi, honey. You're okay. You're okay. You're okay. This thing is adorable. Um, I called Beck. He said that the mom is probably off just getting food, but to move it at least into the grass. >> Here, buddy. We're gonna get you over here. Okay. Right there. Mama's coming back. Okay. >> It looks like the Bambi animation is getting a real life remake. Hopefully, the officers can keep its mom safe, too. >> I can get that cat down. Hold this blanket. Hold it out wide. Now you let that cat fall. That's your fault. All right. Now, come my way a little bit. >> Trying to shake it. >> Yeah. Come my way just way >> just for a second so I can get a hold of this. >> Come on down, cat. My way a little bit. Come on, cat. Got it. >> Come on. >> How about that? >> I always wondered how cats can climb to the highest point of a tall tree and somehow lose their ability to come down. I guess we'll never know.
