This is what This is what I'm talking about right here. So, you didn't delete it? I I thought I did. She's saying She's saying that you were holding on to her and she kept telling you no and you wouldn't let go. Liar. Liar. She liaring. This freaky grandpa broke into his neighbor's house and offered the maid $50 for a spicy favor. Stand up, sir. On the 20th of July 2024, Flaggler County Sheriff's deputies in Palm Coast, Florida, responded to a call for help from a female contract cleaner. She told the officers that a creepy old neighbor who lived next door barged into the vacation house she was cleaning to make inappropriate requests. By the time the officers arrived to gather evidence, the old man had gone. Um, she's usually quick to get back. So, it was just him. It was just him. Yeah. Yeah. Can you give a description on him? He was at least 70, 80. He had a I mean, I don't know. He was an older guy for sure. He had a long flannel on. He had a hat on. Um, lighter eyes, you know, super wrinkly. White, white. He definitely had an accent. I don't know from where, but some type of accent. Not sure. I think that like when I was like, you got to like leave the house. Like I think that he was like, you know, I'm doing something I probably shouldn't be. And then maybe got in his car and like tried to leave. I don't really know. But I definitely was like, you know, what the hell? So I think he was like, yeah, I don't really know what I'm doing. The problem is is she has to come back here every other week and clean. And now it's unsafe because he's right next door. Yeah. You guys know that? I'm not sure. I honestly feel like he lives alone. I think that he does from what I've seen, but I could be wrong. We'll go over there. Okay. Thank you. The officers had her side of the story, but they needed the old man's testimony to complete the investigation. But when they knocked on his door, the grandpa had a different story to tell. How you doing, sir? Deputy F with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. What happened earlier next door? Nothing. Nothing at all? No. Nothing. You've been home all day? At any point, did you go over to speak to the neighbor? Yeah, I want to ask to clean my house, you know, but she's busy. So, you you uh did you knock on the door and ask ask for her or Yeah. How? No, the door was open. The door was open. Yeah. The 77year-old man admitted he entered the house because the door was open and simply asked the girl to come clean his house, which was completely different from what she told the cops. According to the victim, the old man initially asked for a kiss. When she rejected him, he offered her $50 as payment to help him satisfy his needs. Since one of them was clearly lying, the officer pulled the footage from the resident's door camera. [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] Hello. From this point, it was difficult to tell exactly what he was doing in her car or what happened in the house. All the officers could see was the aftermath. Can't come in here like that. No, you can't come in here like that. Okay. Okay. You got to go. You got to go back next door. All right. Thank you, man. Have a good day. Okay. You, too. [Music] Since the evidence showed him entering the house without consent, the officers could only arrest him for burglary. Stand up, sir. Oh, this vehicle out here. Watch your step. I don't know why. It's not anyone else putting me in, sir. It's not anyone else doing it. It's your own decisions. He was charged with burglary and soliciting and was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall inmate facility where he was held on bond for $5,000. But the grandpa isn't the only one with a thing for maids because the next guy couldn't control himself in front of a hotel employee. Get out of my face. Okay. Well, what happened this morning up in your hotel room? Nothing at all. On the 8th of June 2024, officers were called to yet another location in Florida because a hotel guest was showing himself to a female employee. Upon arrival, the officer met the manager who wanted the man trespassed and removed from the property. But the officer had to get a firstirhand report from the victim. I was heading for the door. He get up on me, blocked me. I said, "Sir, get out of my face." Okay, sir, go back a little bit. If you're not feeling well, go and lie down. Okay. Because it was a tons of alcohol. I mean, tons and tons of alcohol. Do you want to press charges? No, sir. I just Okay. I have to make sure because you you're technically a victim of a crime. So, if you want him just thrown out of the hotel, that's fine. But if you want to press charges and want arrested, I don't want you talking to anybody else. But I'm I am like a person like Right. Right. I can defend myself. Maybe there are some younger ones here. Maybe they they can't. Right. So, I said you have a right to to refuse him getting arrested. That's fine. But I wanted to make sure before we just throw him out and you want him arrested. So, you do not want him arrested at all. That's somebody talking to somebody else. Okay. According to the victim, she was in the hallway when the suspect asked her to come clean his room. By the time she got to his room, the creep was already executing his creepy plan. Although we couldn't get the story directly from the horse's mouths, the officer gave a nearperfect retelling of events. Housekeeping. Hello, housekeeping. Entering. Hello, housekeeping. I'm looking around. Jesus. Let's figure out where he's at. He's definitely drinking. Okay. So, apparently they had a big fight sometime last night. Okay. All night. Girlfriend leaves at 6:30 this morning. Cleaning service comes around. She's out in the hallway. He comes out and sees, "Hey, I want my room cleaned." So, she's like, "Okay, let me finish this room. I'll come back." Comes inside. He's sitting I take it on the couch, I guess, with this thing out. Whatever. Mhm. She says, "Sir, put that up. I'm not here for that." Goes and starts cleaning the bathroom. When she comes back out, he's on the bed. She's like, "Okay, I'm done. I'm out." She goes to leave. He gets up, blocks the door. She pretty much tells him, "Hey, let me out." So, he does. She lets her out. So, that part's over and done with. Okay. Since the suspect wasn't in his room, the officers had to figure out the suspect's location by searching the surveillance video. A little digging showed that his girlfriend was still in the hotel. Yeah, cuz she said it was he was muscular. That's not him. For sure. Oh, yes. That's him. Okay. Okay. That's him. Okay. Hi there. Good morning. Hi. I'm Officer Reeds. Do you know where your boyfriend is right now? No. You have some way of calling him so I can speak to him. It's his phone's turned off. His phone's turned off. Okay. Well, thank you. If you happen to see him or anything, let the front desk know or let somebody here know so we can talk to him. Yeah. It's my birthday. We can happy birthday. So, yeah, it's great. Since that was a dead end, the officers went back to the surveillance room, but there was no need for that because their suspect without knowing turned himself over to the authorities. He opened the door for her. Oh, that's right. He's at the desk. He's at the desk. He's at the desk. Oh, he took off. He's in here, though. He's got Where'd he go? Hey there. How's it going? Good. Just got to have a talk. What? Just have a talk for me here out of the way. So, what all happened this morning? What? What happened this morning up in your hotel room? Nothing at all. When a maid come in to clean your room, what happened? Oh, well that one. I don't know. Nothing at all. She told me $20. $20? Yep. Are you sure about that? Yes. Okay. When you were sitting in the chair, is that when she propositioned you or when you were on the bed? There's two certain differences. Told me $20. Okay. Told you $20. Okay. You have your ID on you? No. I lost my wallet. Where's your wallet at? In my room. In your room? Let's go up to your room and pack your stuff up. Oh, that's fine. Yeah, the key went around. Yeah. The suspect insinuated that the victim was actually the one who threw herself at him, requesting a payment of $20 for her services. Yet, the case against him was a simple trespass case. And it would have remained that way if he had obeyed the officer's instructions. But he just had to make things difficult. Let's go to the elevator over that way. Let's go to the elevator over that way. Oh. Let's go to the elevator over that one so we can get your stuff back on this. Waiting for this one. We're using the other elevator over there. No, I'm not going that way. Yes, we are. You're being trespasser. Get your stuff. What? Let's go to the service elevator. What? Let's go to the service elevator. Stop. Stop. You understand? Stop. Put your hand on your back. Stop. Drop your phone in your glasses. Drop your phone in your glasses. And stop. I'll grab him. I'll grab them. Let go. I'll grab your stuff. Let go now. I'll grab your stuff. So you have to drop it here. Don't push me. Then don't walk off. I'm not walking off. Have seat. With one drunk old creep secured, the officers needed to bring his partner up to speed on why they had been looking for him and where he was going to be. As you would expect, she wasn't thrilled to hear what her partner did on her birthday. Um, what's your name? Sarah. Sarah. Sarah, can you get out of the pool for me? You all right, Sarah? You had a little bit to drink? No, I'm just not happy. Okay. They want you gone though. Or you're being I haven't done anything. They want you trespassed. I haven't done anything. You have to leave the cop. They want you trespassed. For what? He um he pulled out his private parts to one of our housekeepers in the room. So that's why we Okay. Since the victim refused to press charges, the boyfriend was only arrested for resisting arrest without violence. While the housekeeper managed to escape without getting hurt, this next victim wasn't so lucky. She's saying she's saying that you were holding on to her and she kept telling you no and you wouldn't let go. Liar. Liar. She liar. On the 6th of April, 2024, Flaggler County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a residence in Palm County, Florida after a woman called 911. Upon arrival, the victim explained she was in the process of setting up for an open house when an older male drove by in a gold SUV simply to make advances towards her. So, did he did he like leave any kind of marks or anything like that? Like when he was kissing your neck, like was he trying to bite it or anything like that? I mean, can I see where he broke your nail? Like this one? Okay. Yeah. Yeah. The victim is a realtor who was just trying to do her job and take a house off the market. When the suspect came in to make inquiries, he initially told her it was unsafe to be alone in such a house. And when she asked him to leave, he pulled her in for a tight hug while trying to do unspeakable things to her. Thankfully, the victim was able to break free and she got some pictures of his SUV before he escaped. This allowed the police to track the suspect. Why you stop me officer? Uh, did you stop and talk to a realtor somewhere? No. You didn't talk to anybody? No. Okay. I'm coming from my house. Coming from your house? From my daughter's house. Well, a realtor called and said that you stopped out where she was working and some some strange thing some strange things occurred. So, I got deputies over there talking to her now and then they're going to come over here and talk to you. Figure out what's going on. I'm sorry. I don't say I don't I know she don't body. You didn't talk to anybody? I talked to a lady. Uhhuh. Um another street. I forget the name. Okay. But uh I got Did you know her previously or no? No. No. Okay. All right. Just hang tight for me. All right. The golden SUV belonged to 78-year-old Carlos Dilva. You would think that after 70 years, Carlos would have learned to tell stories without constantly contradicting himself. When the officers doubled down on his story and him contradicting himself, Carlos finally admitted to part of the realtor's story, but with a twist of his own. You have the right to remain silent. You wanted him in Spanish, but then he started talking. You seem you seem pretty proficient though in English. No, I'm not I'm not talking much English, but I understand a little bit. You understand? And that you guys understand me. If you officially understand me, I think we Okay. Okay. Tell me. Did Did you go to an open house? Yes. Why? Why did you go to the open house? Uh because I look for a house to buy for rent. Okay. I have two already and I looked for another one. Okay. I live in Fairchild Lane. I live in Fairchild Lane. Okay. I got two houses there. That's three. So my my question is why would you the the real estate agent that was there? Why would you kiss her neck? I don't kiss her neck. I give her she be on the right phone the phone on the right hand. I got my phone on my right right hand and I say she give me a hand and I touch her like this and I say goodbye. This is a is a somebody do that and I used to be. Okay. She's saying she's saying that you were holding on to her and she kept telling you no and you wouldn't let go. Liar. Liar. She liar. She tried put me in trouble. I'm sorry, but I not. Similar to the first time, Carlos denied everything, claiming he did nothing wrong. But his little story failed to mention the marks on her wrist and the broken nail. To make things worse, officers couldn't trust Carlos's story since he kept updating it at every chance he got. This meant Carlos was in trouble. So, she wants to pursue criminal charges on you. Okay. So, that that means that you're going to be going to jail. Oh, yeah. Mhm. No. Yes, sir. Yeah. So, you're going to get down there and you'll have a bond tomorrow. Okay. And you'll be able to get out. I don't have no money. Do you have any shoulder problems or anything like that? No. You don't? Okay. I'm going to handcuff you in the back then for now. If it gets uncomfortable, you can tell me. We'll move them for you. Okay. Just put your hands behind your back. I never be in the jails. Almost 80 years old. I go to the jail because I shake my hand to the lady. And she checked my hand to me, too. Yeah. Since the open house hadn't started before the incident occurred, Carlos was arrested on the felony charge of burglary of a dwelling with assault and battery, plus one misdemeanor charge of simple battery. He was held without bond. While Carlos kept denying everything, this next grandpa believed he had every right to do what he did. And I didn't think that they were going to get I was going to get caught cuz I was trying to do it on the sneak. Right. On the 3rd of September 2021, police received reports from a cafe about a patron who was taking inappropriate pictures of the female employees. When the officers arrived to question the witnesses, they found out the employee was actually being harassed by a stalker. Hello. How's it going? I'm Deputy Ray. Um, you mind just running me by? I know you're doing the statement and everything. Um, I got a camera, so just you want to just run me by everything that you saw? Yeah. So, I was uh having breakfast. I seen the girl call this uh man out on the recording. She came out and asked him to see the video. He then shows her a video. He says he doesn't have a video. He he shows her a video that he took. Where was he standing when he took it? You see he was he was in front of the counter and she was faced away behind the counter. Okay. So he's filming her ass when he left. So I told her, "Call 911." I called and I followed him around. And when he's walking that way, I guess he's trying to erase it and he's telling me there's no evidence. Then he tells me he didn't think it was illegal. Why evidence if you didn't think it was illegal? You would think the witness's story was as bad as it gets until the officers talked with the victim. The information she gave them went beyond creepy to horrifying. So, it started last Friday, okay? Literally a week ago. Um, he was sitting at that table and I was serving him and then I had a customer at that table and he was like, "Hey, just to let you know I work security. I noticed that he's like recording you. He has his phone like low here and every time like you walk by it's like always pointing at you and then he came in a couple days after that same thing. So me and my boss were watching him and same thing like recording me phone low everything and then he came in today again and he was recording me and my coworker caught him like actually seeing the video. So we went off I was like why are you recording me? He was like I think you're beautiful. I just wanted to watch you. He's like, "I promise I don't do anything with the videos." Um, he was just screaming about it. He's like, "Please don't press charges. Don't do anything." Apparently, this wasn't the first time the creepy old man had stalked the poor girl. He had done so four times the previous week alone, and who knows how many more times before she found out. Finally, the officers had a word with the 60-year-old stalker, and he didn't have a shred of remorse for what he did. You know, when you're out in public, it's just like any you can anybody can tape anybody anywhere, but obviously this I try to come correct. Girl came up to me, why are you taping me? I said, I'm not. I said, all right, I am. I apologize. What do you want me to do? Do you want me to just leave and never come back? You know, I'm not posting it or anything online or doing anything, you know, uh of that fashion. She said, "Just, you know what? Just leave. Just leave. Just leave." He saw I was like, I'll just leave. I won't come back anymore. You know, I worn out my welcome from here. So, I just came came out, started walking. That's when the other guy started, "Hey, hey." Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Putting the bug in everybody's ear to that, you know, it was like I was taping him or something like that. So, then I just I was just like, "Well, I might as well stick around and talk to the officer." I could see how they would get upset. But, right, I don't do drugs. I'm 60 years old, right? I had a stroke last year. I got you. I'm an old man. I'm not I'm not a threat to anybody. I'm a help to someone. You should have denied the whole thing. Should have been like, "You're crazy." No, you're not seeing my phone. But that's what I get. You're You're being cough. I mean, you're being a good guy. But this is what I get for being honest. Although his actions weren't explicitly stated in the Constitution, it still went against multiple policies on workplace harassment and invasion of privacy and the officers didn't need to butter up the suspect to get a very detailed confession. From the suspect's point of view, he didn't hurt anybody and he didn't do anything wrong. Yet, the moment the officers asked him to unlock his phone, the man got defensive. Do you mind um guiding me to where um you you said you would you'd be cooperative with us and you said you wouldn't mind showing me what all uh went down over here? If the intention is that I'm just going to get rid of trespassing. Yeah. He's right. He's he's right there. If I show you more and you're going to be like, "Oh, look at this. You know, this is more than trespassing and we're going to write you up for this, that, and the other thing. I don't want to incriminate myself." I I understand that. And he wrote you up for the trespass. I'm just just trying. Well, I'd rather not show you then. So, August 27th, those two were deleted from August 27th. Here we go. All right. So, today at 11:15 a.m. This This is what This is what I'm talking about right here. So, you didn't delete it. So, you didn't delete it? I I thought I did. That's what I was It wasn't I mean, it took you to find it. So, No, that's what I was trying cuz a lot of people don't even know that. So that's why I'm telling you like right well the the same with difficulty that you had finding it. I was just like I thought I deleted it and I did and and most people do. That's why a lot of people don't even know. What' you say the password was? So it's 10 what? I'm not going to give any more information. You pretty much saw everything you needed to see, right? Why would you need to get on my phone again? Have you looked at everything or not? No, cuz it locked. Aside from the videos he claimed to have deleted, the officers found pictures of a young girl. Knowing his creepy nature, the officers held on to the phone for further investigation. Despite the video evidence and the confessions, the old man still maintained that his intentions were the most important factor. Intentions with the videos like I look at them a few times and then I just delete them. That like I said, I don't post them. You're not like one of these guys like that's my daughter. you know, you know, you're going to be finding on some site or something like that, right? Right. You know, it's other than what it looked like, that was it. Done. I didn't think that they would were paying that close attention to me to know that I was doing that. And then I was like, "Oh, well, you know, they caught me. I apologize." Hi. Between all the testimonies, the old creep's confession, and the disturbing, ridiculous amount of evidence in his phone, the officers had more than enough reason to take the old man in. Naturally, the suspect started playing the victim. You are being placed under arrest for stalking. Okay. You played me. I didn't play you. Yes, you did. I just have to let you know you're being placed under arrest for stalking. You're still served the trespass, so you're still not allowed to come back here. Okay. I'll have that paperwork to give you. That'll be at the jail with you. you. It'll be like a little receipt. You're just talking, but you you played me. I didn't play you. Yes, you did. Okay. I'm asking you if you want your car towed from the parking lot or do you want to you want to risk it staying here? I should have kept my mouth closed. Why? I should have let not let you see the phone. Why? He was arrested and charged with stalking. Following his release the next day, he was given mandatory conditions to comply with, including ankle monitoring, random drug testing, and prohibition from consuming alcohol or drugs. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim, nor return to the cafe where she worked. Later, his attorney entered a plea of not guilty to the charge, and the judge ordered the ankle monitor removed over 3 weeks. Eventually, he pleaded no contest to an amended charge of disorderly conduct and was placed on 6 months of probation. He was also ordered to complete treatment as recommended by a recent evaluation and to have no further contact with the victim.
