cuz a prank was playing on her. A prank that went wrong. She lost her life behind you. Not about to walk out here with no [ __ ] receipt. This Tik Tocker pushed a prank too far and got exactly what he deserved. You're under arrest right now cuz you won't identify yourself. I think this is just a misunderstanding. 23-year-old Tik Tok creator known as Brendan visited a Roseville Walmart store in April 2024 to pull a prank on his employees. His funny content idea was to act suspiciously with a television while handing out a very inappropriate note. And to our greatest surprise, Walmart security did exactly what they were trained to do. Oh, you want the receipt for this thing? This ain't no receipt. What's that? I need your receipt. That's what they spit out at me. Are you ser? Yes or no? Here's the cop. I can get your receipt at the service desk if you can come with me. Okay. I mean, I'm I'm kind of on a time crunch, so I think I'm just going to head out with him. I think you're not call Trey. I need the receipt. Grocery door, please. But I already paid for this thing. Okay, so where's your receipt, man? Look, I'm not about to play with you. Give me a receipt. You're not about to walk out here with no receipt. The Tik Tocker is known for making prank videos and giving mystery boxes filled with different items, which he allows participants to pick. Other times, he walks into an establishment giving silly answers in an attempt to be funny. But the officers this time around weren't laughing. And after testing their patience to its limits, they decided he'd done enough. You have received. Okay. Yeah, but it's my TV. Okay. Do you have ID with you? I'm here to ask like, am I free to go with the TV? Hey. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What do you I just told Stop doing All right. All right. Where's your ID? 13 dispatch. We put another uh customer trouble in uh for Walmart. You disobeyed a lawful order of a police officer. It's against Walmart policy. Okay. Is that the law? Yes. Come on over here. Yes. You're under arrest. You're under arrest right now cuz you won't identify yourself. I think this is just a misunderstanding. Like I carry my phone around like that and that's suddenly against the law. Brendan was later released and there are no records of charges or lawsuits because he cooperated with the cops. But the next prankster decided to square up to the officers and he faced the consequences. What did I do? What did I do? Why I can't see? Well, pranksters are seen as bullies who prey on people for content and laughs. Unfortunately, the guys in this case were exactly that. The so-called content creators entered a Walmart store to pull menacing pranks on people before escaping. A couple of days after the episode, on the 24th of March, 2024, the pranksters returned to the same store to pull their usual stunts. But this time, Walmart was prepared. Oh, that was like a couple days ago. Unless they're here now. No, they they called it in as if it's happening right now. Those guys are really really high. [Applause] window. Jesse, who do you want out? I guess you were leaving the No, you going to jail. I'm walking out. Get out. I'm walking out. You're not going to touch me. Get out. Walking out. I'm walking. Get out. Get out. What? Get out. Get out. Most of the pranksters were smart enough to exit the store before things escalated, but there's always one who is ready to do something dumb for 5 seconds of fame. This time around, the young man decided to square up to the officer in a threatening manner. And as you would expect, his thoughtless, unnecessary actions backfired, leading to temporary blindness. Touch me. We still Why are you touching me? Put your hands in your back. I was getting out. I was getting out. You're going to leave or you are going to jail as well. It's just pepper spray. Bro, what the [ __ ] It's just pepper. I was leaving, man. Me, it was talking, bro. Me, it was squared up and said, "No, I can't I can't see my eyes, man. It's pepper spray." I can't breathe. Relax. You can breathe. I need to wipe my eyes, sir. Please. It's pepper spray. Relax. What did I do? What did I do? I can't see. You're being arrested for trespassing. Okay. Okay. Now, they give him the trespass warning. Yes, we did. As he was crying his heart out, the officers were busy trying to identify him. Since he was in too much pain to tell the cops his name and ID, they decided to help him out. That is when they opened his bag to find a dangerous item that he shouldn't be carrying around. How do I take this apart? You have your idea. Oh, there's a gun in here, too. How old are you? How old are you? for 20 further, bro. How old are you, How old are you, bro? My ID is twisted, bro. Bro, my ID is everything's in there, sir. How old are you? I'm 24. You're 24? Yes, sir. Huh? I'm good, bro. I'm not a I'm not a fan, bro. I'm not saying you are filming. I'm not treating like I'm not nothing, bro. You saw me talking, bro. I don't have I don't have to get paid for this man. Yeah, you do. Who are you? Are you related to this? No, I'm I'm their manager. Their manager. Stop. I can't see, sir. I can't see. Just take take it off me, bro. I don't want you to kill me. Help. I don't want you to kill me. I don't want nothing to happen or anything. I I can't I can't see. Sir, you are under arrest. Do not reach for the gun. Do not I'm taking this off of you. I'm going to take this cuff off. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. Listen to me. Relax and listen to me. to kill me. I got a gun on me. I don't want you to kill me. W really make sure I got me. W. After a couple minutes of screaming, the officers took the pew pew from his possession to make sure things didn't get ugly. Then they called the ambulance to make sure he was okay. That is where he pulled his final drama. No, you're still you're still on property. Hey. Hey. How about you all keep your voices down for no reason, bro? [Music] He doesn't want to go. Back off. I'm trying to help you. I'm trying to pay, bro. Listen, I'm going to touch your face, bro. Hey, do I have your permission, bro? If you let the car, bro, you going to kill me. Listen to me, bro. I cannot see you, bro. He was later charged with resisting arrest and trespassing. and he got off lucky because things could have been worse since he was carrying around a concealed firearm. But he would probably get off without any jail time, unlike the next suspect who literally pranked their way into a 7-year jail sentence. People's attempt at a viral video now has them in trouble with the law. The case started on the 19th of February, 2022 when a YouTuber duo decided to take a social media challenge a little too far. The duo, identified as 24year-old Charlotte Fischer, aka Honey, and 25-year-old Jonathan Larose, aka Saucy, went into Target's parking lot in Pennsylvania to make a grand declaration. Okay, you guys, sorry we're rushing through this intro. It is 9:37. It is 9:37 at night, okay? And Target is about to close, you guys. We are about to spend the night in Target. We're going to spend overnight in Target. Target closes at 10:00, opens at 8:00, and we're going to spend the whole night in Target. You guys do not attempt what we attempt at home. We are entertainers, okay, you guys? We are risking trespassing. I don't know what else could happen after that. I don't know if it's just a fine if we get arrested. I don't really know. I don't really care. We're doing this for us Empire. We love you. The YouTubers should have taken their own advice to not try this at home. But they instead snuck into Target and found a cozy place to hide until all the employees left. That's when the fun began. We are open tomorrow. Thank you for shopping at Target and have a good evening. It is 11:29. It's 11:29. Target has been closed for an hour and a half and it's completely dark in here, but they left the music on. So, we're kind of scared. We don't know if people are here testing us or what's going on. But, we've been hiding in our fort for an hour and a half. And I feel like I need to test if people are here by talking loud so you guys can hear me over this music that they left on rudely cuz I guess they didn't know Sy and Honey was spending 24 hours in Target. Talking very loud. You trying to get caught? What are you doing? I don't think anybody's here. Stop playing with me. What? What's the dance? What's my What's my Tik Tok? Oh yeah. Y'all should do a Tik Tok in there. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Wait, what? Oh my god. Walking around. The back room. That's the overnight room. Uber. Your bird's here. Oh, my Uber. Are you Salty? Yes. Oh, you know my name? Yes. Charlotte. Yep. Perfect. Thank you. Where are we going today? Surprise me, Uber. Please. You're going to take me into the world of the scary mannequins. Scary dark mannequins. I'm going No, I can't look. I can't walk. Before I go, everybody who's going to watch your hubby, shout out to you guys. Everybody, we are vlogging. So, if you were on the live currently out, shout out to you guys. Leil, I know you watch the videos. Shout out to you, boo. Listen, guys, it's kind of dark, but do you guys see Honey over there? Mannequin challenge. [Music] When the [ __ ] did you move, babe? All right, stop acting like a man again. Come on. After an overnight vlog of cleaning, dancing, riding around, and revealing the things sitting in Target's back room. We're having a toilet paper or paper towel shortage, I can guarantee you Target has it in their backstock. So, just ask them to go to the back and check. It was time to sleep and wait for morning. Or so they claim. In reality, an official investigation shows that the YouTube duo left the store after 3:00 a.m. and they returned early to complete the illusion that they were in the store all night. That singular action tripped the alarm, alerting the cops of their little adventure. On February 20th, the couple walked out of the store believing they had outsmarted the system. Look, is it safe to leave? Easy. [Music] [Music] [Music] How you doing, man? How are you? Good. Good. Good. We'reing outside, you guys. We're outside. We just suck successfully spenting night in fire. The authorities were about to wipe the smiles off their faces because in March 2022, West Whitland police arrested the duo for criminal trespassing among other charges. People's attempt at a viral video now has them in trouble with the law. The YouTube duo known as Sauy and Honey are facing trespassing charges for staying inside of a Target hours after it had closed. According to the official report, the officers first visited the store at 3:00 a.m. after the YouTubers tripped the alarm. Although the duo had already escaped, the cops used the store's camera in their viral video to gather all the evidence they needed. The couple was charged with felony trespassing and conspiracy, which could land them into a 7-year prison sentence. They were later released on a $25,000 unsecured bond and had been trespassed from every Target store in the state. While Honey and Saucy needed viral fame to get the cops attention, the next suspect was dumb enough to target multiple police departments in one night. Why am I safe? Hi. Well, you have a warrant, first of all. Second of all, Brookfield has criminal charges against you. On the 13th of December, 2023, the Brookfield Police got a 911 call from a woman who claimed a man was outside of her home with a firearm. Talk County Communications Cindy. Hi, there's a man with a gun with a gun. Can you spell the street, ma'am? I can't understand you. Do you have me on speaker phone? He's shooting with a gun. I understand that and I'm going to send help, but I need to understand the street name. I It's okay. And who is shooting with a gun? There's a man. He lives. Okay. What is the man's name? I have no idea. Okay. How do you know this is going on? Oh my god. He's in this house with a gun shooting rabbit. Okay. How do you know this is going on? Oh my god. Because I can see him. He's shooting rabbits. He's shooting everywhere. Answer my questions. How do you know this is going on? I think this is Hello. The call was suspicious, and since the caller couldn't provide any description of the situation, the officers believed it might actually be a prank call. Yet, they couldn't ignore a potential cry for help, no matter how fake it seemed. You guys are good, too, probably enough. What did he say? You just want to start checking the roadway for any casings. He said we should be good if this is nothing, but I'm still going to stay in the area because we don't know. Bravo 214. Believe it's an elderly couple that lives here. I've had contact here before. There's nothing in the street. Bravo 214. Did they call our sound elderly? They called through the city of Brookfield trunk line. So, we're trying to call back and see if they have a record of that phone number. What's What's that? Couldn't tell you. So, it came through the trunk line. What does that mean? No idea. It's probably a dispatch term, but the fact that it came in non-emergency tells me that it's most likely a SWAT call. The term swatting call describes prank calls that are made to seem so serious that the police department is forced to deploy a tactical SWAT team. The cop's suspicions were confirmed when the prankster kept calling about the same locations they were in. Clearly, they would have heard if there was any active shooting in the area. That is when the officers began investigating the identity of the mystery caller. Will you sound somewhat intoxicated? Are you Have you had any drinks tonight, ma'am? Are you crazy? Uh, no, ma'am. I'm trying to conduct this investigation for you. Are you a crazy person? Nope. He's been tuning rabbits and doing all kinds of stuff. She sounds familiar. Um, who's the girl that Moans got in the foot pursuit with and tackled? This was like 3 years ago up in Oh, I think I'm still on. So, um, we're going to end this. He's going to pay us $1,500. Oh, that's good for you. Yeah, sure is. All right. Anything else, ma'am? Nope. Have a great day. You too. Thank you. Bye. Name is Ashley Corbin. I remember her. That's who I think it is. The officers realized their caller was 36-year-old Ashley Corbin, who believed she was calling from an unttrackable number. But the officers had tricks of their own, and they were going to get to the bottom of things. Hello. Is this Ashley? Yeah. No, this is not Ashley. Okay. This is Sergeant Grelin with the Brookfield Police Department. You called us. Who is Ashley? I thought this was Ashley. Um, why would why would you think that? Okay. Well, Ashley, right now we are going to finish this investigation for swatting. So, like I said before, you can either keep calling and each one will refer out as a different charge or you can stop calling and we can move forward from here. Guess what? Guess what? My name is Lindsay. You can stop calling me ass, please. Thank you. Okay. You should probably slow down on the drinking tonight, ma'am. You should probably stop being aing [ __ ] Okay. How about that? Did your payout not work out for you? Shut up, you [ __ ] [ __ ] Hello. I'm still here. Ashley, how are you doing? I'm waiting for you. Yeah, I'm here. How you doing? Firing a gun. Hello. Hello. Hi. Is this 262? Yes, it is. Hello. Having confirmed Ashley was the mystery caller, the officers began a manhunt. It was time for her to understand the consequences of pranking any police department across the state. Building maintenance. Building maintenance. You were here to fix a problem. Car's gone. Our car is gone. You're You're Ashley, correct? Yeah. What's uh you kind of tell me what's going on? I'm playing catchup here. What? What's going on? What are they playing? What's going on? You I understand Brookfield wants to talk to you. County wants to talk to you. What? You live here? My mom. Did you know officers were coming to talk to you? No. You was You was waiting out here for us? No. My mom. Can we get my mom out here to take the dog off at least? Absolutely. Sorry. I'm sorry. My prince. Sorry. Whoa. Princy. Come here. We'll get Tra. Prince. No. No. Prince. I have contact with her. There's no problems. Wakisha PD learned that Ashley wasn't just pranking Brookfield. She was hitting another department and had previous felony warrants stacked against her. With those offenses mounting, Ashley tried to escape the arrest, but she wasn't as smart as she thought. Thank you. Hey, John. How you doing? Thanks, John. Hello. This is so cute. So funny. Hello, dog. Oh, okay. I'm sorry. Um, naughty naughty dog actually. So, Brookfield wants to talk to you. So, we're gonna help facilitate that meeting. So, sure. What What do they I want my attorney present. Are you able to connect me with the Brookfield officer that uh wants What's your name again? Ashley Corbin. Ashley Corbin. Holy. In the city walk show. You're in big trouble. Okay. Thank you very much. Granny. Okay. Go back Grammy. Go by Grammy. Grammy. No granny. Hold on. Ash, you got to come with us. What? You got to come with us. You weren't welcome to come in here. Come with us. Oh, I am. Oh, okay. Then I will Well, like let's I'm not playing these games with you. Okay. I'm not. Well, I will. You're in police custody. You are into police custody. Yes. Drop this. That's fine. Like, don't try to get us out of the apartment when you're under arrest. Why am I in police custody? Well, you have a warrant, first of all. Second of all, Brookfield has criminal charges against you. Why? It sounds like you've been calling in fake police calls, swatting, as they say. All right, Ashley, let's head down. This dog, come on. Even without asking, the officers found out three things about Ashley. One, she dated an officer in Brookfield. Two, she was apparently a brain surgeon. Most importantly, they grossly overstepped their authority while arresting her, and they were going to regret it. My boyfriend is a police officer. I understand that. You said that already. We're going to sit here for a minute. What do you mean? We're just going to sit here for a minute. What do What didn't you understand about that? Can you please sweat my hair on my face? No. Really? I can't breathe. You can't breathe. It's blocking my breath. I can't breathe. I think the drinking was a issue tonight. I can't breathe. What are you doing? I can't breathe. I'm watching you breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. Stop what you're doing. Oh my god. Cuz they have criminal charges for you. Why? Because you committed a crime tonight. No, I didn't. I don't I honestly think your level of intoxication, you wouldn't know if you did or didn't. I want my attorney now. No. No, I do. You're right. You're not being questioned. Excuse me. You just said no. Yes, I said no. I want my train now. You screaming it is not I want my train now. Do you understand? You're lying. And you use me as a scapegoat under the bridge. You guys were harassing me under the bridge and there was no cameras under there. And you guys were harassing me and me under the bridge. She also left like a big bag of beer in front of someone's door and let's just turn her over. And you guys in in the elevator. I want to talk to the police department. Yep. What's up, guys? Me in the elevator. Okay. Yep. We have body cameras and I and I have and I have remarks. We have body cameras and if you want and so do I. If you want to file a false police report, we can go down that road. You're lying. It seems accusing officers is a popular drunk caring tactic for getting back at officers. But even that wasn't enough to stop the handover that was about to happen. Ashley was transferred to the Brookfield Police Department for documentation and charging. This chick is Good luck with her. All right. What they did to me and how they Okay, Ashley. Brookfield. And how they step out now. Step out, Ashley. Come on. One foot at a time. What they did to me? How they me? No, they you me. You're talking too loud. I don't give a I'm talking too loud. You me. I'm talking too loud. You me this guy. This guy. No. This I'm not trying to stay for us here. Ashley sitting right. The police. Can you just take a seat? The police. The police officers are me and they won't let me tell you. And they won't let me tell you. Ashley, can you please just sit down for us? They won't let me tell you. Are you kidding me? And they won't let me tell you. After everything, Ashley was charged with felony false reporting of an emergency and obstructing an officer. In June 2024, she was found guilty on the felony false reporting and was sentenced to 6 months in jail and another six months confinement under the Huber law, which would allow her to leave prison for approved activities. But if you think what Ashley did was dangerous, then you haven't seen the next prankster who made a crowd of more than 200 people think they were packing a firearm. He came and told us that people were telling us we thought they thought we had a gun. Yeah. So that's why we left. On the 21st of February 2024, two not so bright pranksters decided to disrupt a lecture in the highly reputed University of Cincinnati to prank a class of about 250 students. Their dumb stunt was to shout explicit derogatory comments to the lecturer and students as content for their YouTube channel. But unknown to them, the students were recording their antics as evidence before calling the county police. What else did you get? We want to know you're not dead. They have a in or out decision. Okay. Are you gay? I don't know what's going on up there. I don't have a problem with gay people, but I just want you to be honest. Are you in this class? Yeah. Are you? Yeah. Well, I actually need you to leave. Damn. We getting kicked out. Yeah. I'm sorry. Damn, man. But I'm supposed to be in this class. I'm sorry. Damn, man. All right, dog. Let's leave some go get me some eat some ass, suck some toes. We about to do all that. Come on, bro. You're in and out on there. You said you Thank you. Hello. Yeah, they went that way. Well, uh, I got a couple questions. Sorry to interrupt your class. Sorry, it's already been interrupted. What? What do these guys say? A lot. I'm Were they threatening in any way or anything? I mean, to be honest with you, I'm scared. The cops got concrete evidence that the suspect spent 10 minutes causing a scene before they left. This involved threatening people and offering to take the drama outside if anyone was up to it. While the officer was gathering the needed information, the others were spread around the campus searching for the pranksters. Anybody that took a video sent to me as the two classroom is always recorded with the cameras. I've got it recorded. Echo like it'll be up about I can send you the video if you want. Send me the video as fast as you It'll be up about 15 minutes after classes. Come here. My bad. We just doing a YouTube video. Have a sit both of you. 19. We're out with them. We're just filming content, sir. You realize you're causing panic inducing panic on a campus wearing mask. Have a seat. That's not me, sir. No, that's you. You're one of them. I'm not wearing a mask, though. This is You have no reason to be in campus doing this kind of stuff. Yes, sir. We were just filming. It's called inducing panic. Causing any trouble here. We were just making content. That's how that's our way of living. That's how we make our money. The suspects innocently explained their side of the story, claiming it was all for the views and content. However, they completely ignored the thoughts and feelings of the lecturer and his students. When the officers decided to hold them accountable to avoid pressing charges, the pranksters became difficult. Do you know who that is? Uh he he was in the class, but no, we don't know who that is. We don't know any of these people. He He came and told us that they that's why we came out here cuz they he came and told us that people were coming to us. We thought they thought we had to go. Yeah. So that's why we left. We We wasn't trying to cause no damage or cause no harm to nobody or anything. So y'all saw the thing in Kansas City, right? Huh? You saw that goofy stuff in Kansas City where the shooting happened? Uh yeah, after the Super Bowl. What's your name? You don't know your name? That's not an answer. I need a name. Why? Because you gave us one of them then. We didn't do anything else. But we made contact with you. So, we got to make sure that we know who you are and then we'll let you go. I'm not We're not bad people. We don't I didn't say you're bad. We didn't come to harm anything. That's why we just left. We didn't want nobody scared or anything. We just make content on YouTube. That's it. Okay. You want the channel name or something? No, I just want your name and your birthday. I don't know. Isn't a name? This is a serious situation. You're going to make it worse. Please give him your shot. Yeah, you guys know there's there's cameras everywhere, too. So, we have everything on video. Everything is on video today. That's okay. We didn't hurt anybody. It's called inducing panic, man. That's against the law. I'm sorry. We'll just leave. We just won't Well, no. You need to give your You got a warrant. Is that what it is? I don't I just No, I don't have a warrant. I don't do anything. What's your first name? All right. Where Where do you stay at in Cincinnati? Yeah. Do I have to tell you that? I like it's a request. It's not a national secret, man. I'll stay in one of those. Okay. One of those. It's easy, man. If you got If you got any further questioning, I call my lawyer so he could so he could talk to you guys. I don't feel like I don't. Do you have an attorney right now? Yes, sir. I do. You need his card? Hold on. I got it on deck. Maybe. Oh, you got his card. Oh [ __ ] [Music] How long does it take to search our name? Well, if you get false information, it takes a while. Ohio doesn't have a law that forces citizens to disclose their identity, but the state's revised code allows officers with probable cause to arrest such an individual. The person would then be charged with obstructing an official business. Since the pranksters didn't cooperate, the cops would have to charge, detain, and thumbrint them. If the easy route wasn't good enough, they could do things the hard way. All right. Tell you what we're going to do for right now. You guys stand up for me. Yes, sir. Put these guys in cuffs. Okay. You guys are being detained. Okay. Since we want to be all formal like Okay, we'll be formal like, too. All right. You guys are being detained right now. And so, just so you know, I want to read you your rights. I want to meandize you. You know what that means, right? Yes, sir. Okay. Talk to your lawyer. Do you understand what these rights are that I've read to you? Okay. All right. Very good. All right. When you guys do arrest us, can you make sure my phone comes with me back? All right. What do you got, Rachel? They're good. What kind of history they got? Uh, sex offender. And he's a sex offender. Yeah. And then he's got really nothing. Well, he's he's not he's he's he's not local, but he's he's got local history. Oh, he's got local history. The arrest was all they needed to answer the officer's questions, but it was too late. The officers identified the suspect in blue with the mask as Max and his colleague as Marcus. They were charged with menacing criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct. On the 14th of 2024, Max pleaded guilty for menacing and criminal trespass. He was charged with one day in jail and one-year probation. Marcus refused to show up for court and is currently on the run from the law. But Max and Marcus definitely knew when to quit because the next suspect almost turned a prank into a near-death experience. Keep them up. Turn away. Turn away. Walk backwards towards the sound of my voice. Keep your hands where I can see them. On the 24th of July, 2023, officers responded to a complaint from a store in Wasau, Wisconsin, where a man was making people uncomfortable. Although the suspect was gone before the officers arrived, they were able to get a good description from the store's employees. One hour later, they received another report about a car theft from an unfortunate owner who initially believed he was being pranked until his vehicle vanished. As expected, the car thief matched the description of the suspect from the store. I'm officer Jerry with Los PD. Is this a company vehicle or personal? Personal. Okay. I don't know if this is going to make you feel any better or not. We do have license plate readers all over the city and part of the reason why it took me so long to get here is because I was working on getting entered into that system and everything. Me and someone were talking at the back window and we saw someone walking up through the parking lot. Next thing person I was talking to was looking that way like hey that's your truck h the horn and then he just kind of like drove up in there. So I thought maybe he was just younger kind of thing. Maybe playing a prank and going to put it up their way or something. Was he carrying anything with him? I almost want to say he had a backpack. We had a guy this morning. I don't know where he came from. His address is in Texas, but he's been in the area kind of causing a problem. I suspect that this is going to be the same person, but like I said, if he drives through town, it's going to alert on one of our cameras and we're going to find him. Typically, we find them still in the city, which is what I'm hoping for. Our dispatch center put out, it's called an attempt to locate. So, basically, everyone in Marathon County is looking for your truck right now. The officers got the identity of the suspect as 25-year-old Harvey, who was a recorded offender on probation. This meant he wore an ankle monitor with GPS tracking capacity, which the officers used to pinpoint the location. Afterward, officers were dispatched to arrest him and reclaim the stolen vehicle he was driving. The moment Harvey saw the officers, he accelerated the vehicle into a high-speed chase that ended very badly for him. Okay, I think I see it. I'm going to I'll keep you on speaker, but I'm going to put the phone down here. 196 I believe I see it. Beyond Bureick still traveling northbound past the water treatment 196 1080 crashed at the curve um at the curve north of the water treatment center. I can see his hands. Harvey didn't know there was a 90° bend ahead as he was punching the vehicle at a speed of approximately 100 mph. Naturally, he lost control of the car, completely destroying the very expensive truck. Walk backwards towards the sound of my voice. Keep your hands where I can see them. Face away from me. Face away. Walk backwards towards the sound of my voice. Keep your hands up. Keep walking. Keep walking. I'm coming behind you cuz I lost. Keep walking. Keep walking. Your hands up. Don't reach for anything. Keep walking. Stop. Hands on top of your head. Interlace your fingers. Get down on your knees. Your hands on the ground in front of you. Lay down. Hands out to the side. Palms up. Do not move. Palms up. Palms up. Place your left hand on the small of your back. 45. Just be aware. We're right at the crest of the hill, so be careful. The other oncoming unit, we're right here with guns coming that way, so stay still. 196 when detained. You good? Yep. You? Yep. Are you good, Harvey? Oh, no, man. Are you hurt? Yeah, in my head. Your head? Hit my head. I am. So, I was getting nervous with this corner coming up. Yeah. And so, I slammed on the brakes and then obviously I was doing 88 and he was going way faster than me. The car thief claimed he didn't steal the vehicle. And when the officer searched the car, they found criminal substances in a backpack, which Harvey also denied. I didn't steal it. Okay. I got permission to drive it. Okay. Well, you can hang tight for now. I need to see a medic, bro. I'm guessing this is going to be Mr. Harvey's. There's a meth pipe in here. So, you can walk, right? Yeah. I think it'd be easy rather than bringing the cat over here, right? Take your time. You a little uneasy on your feet. Where'd you get that pipe from? It's in this black bag. How the was it? I don't smoke that. I shoot it. I don't smoke. We're going to go to the cotton. I definitely don't smoke mice. He's not arguing with you, dude. He's not arguing with you. But he's not arguing with Sit right there. Okay. Yeah. You're going to run, right? Okay. It's obvious Harvey was acting out because he was intoxicated. But the officers needed evidence of that. Unfortunately, Harvey became unbearably uncooperative, fighting and threatening the officers at every turn. Nobody's looking in the truck. There's no way or anybody. Okay, I'm going to ask you one more time. Will you submit to an evidentary chemical test of your blood? I want to just said he's going to whoop all our asses once the cuffs come off. You're worried about one misdemeanor and you're talking about having several more possib I've been revoked for 5 years automatically and those new charges are going to guarantee my my routine 5 years of my life that I'd be gone. So I'm going to go out with understand that threatening a law enforcement nobody. I'm I'm going to get out of bed and I'm not going to get handcuffed. I'm not threatening y'all. That's what's going to happen though. Okay. But just so we're all on the same page here threatening a law touch. I'm never going to touch you with you. You are going to be beating me. I don't care. Are you going to put on tighter too? That's really going to make me fight. You don't now. Stop. Stop. Stop fighting. Stop fighting. I'll shoot you with your gun. That child just broke my wrist, dog. I swear to God. I like that. I like that. Come on. Trying to take the cuff off so it stops hurting against you. No, I like that. Come on. I like that. Break it. Break it. You're doing that, Andrew. Yeah, you ain't doing Harvey was taken to the station where he was given multiple felony charges of taking a vehicle without consent, vehicle fleeing an officer, and threatening a police officer. He also got three misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and possessing paraphernalia. He was given a cash bond of $10,000. While Harvey's stunt caused some damages and repairs, the next prank took a human life. Prank was played on her. A prank prank was played on her. She lost her life behind. On the 2nd of January 2022, a suspicious car approached the Burger King in Milwaukee County after it closed. Some minutes later, the same car returned and 16-year-old Naisha Harris Brazelle approached the drive-through window. Before she knew what was happening, the suspicious driver shoved his head through the window, waving his firearm. That is when 35-year-old Dedrich Ellis pulled his own weapon and fired at the asalent, hitting Naisha and ending her life. Officers got a hold of the camera to identify the suspect as 41-year-old Antoine Edwards. I'm Rachel. This is Mike. We're going to uh just go through and kind of talk to you. Okay. So, first things first, like I said, we kind of just start out with some basic questions as far as like your um your your status. Are have you taken any drugs or consumed any alcohol today? No. No. Okay. Do you normally Yeah. No. Normally smoke a little weed or drink? You drink? Okay. When's the last time you've had a drink? Uh yesterday. Yesterday. Okay. So, you right now you don't feel under the influence of any alcohol or drugs. Okay. And then just a little bit of information as far as like where where are you staying right now? I'm homeless. You're homeless right now? Okay. So where where are you currently like living or? Uh in my car. In your car. Okay. What kind of car is that? Uh Yukon XL. A Yukon XL. What color is it? White. White. Okay. Does it have any registration on it? No. Okay. Um knowing that you have these rights, are you still willing to talk to us? Will talk. Okay. Antoine was struggling with substance abuse and homelessness. When his partner of 17 years died, he developed a mental illness while still having four children to take care of. And one of his children was the victim, Naisha's best friend. Do you know why you're here or why do you think you're here? I know I'm here. Okay. Why? Uh because my girl my daughter's friend got killed at Berkeley. Okay. So, who's your daughter? Mariah. How many daughters do you have? Three. Three. Okay. So, your daughter Mariah works at Burger King and her friend, Do you know what her friend's name is? Uh, I can't think of that. No, you don't know. I do, but I I They call uh Oh my goodness. I can't think of it. Okay, you can come back to it. So, so walk me through why you think you're here because of that. Cuz a prank was played on her. A prank that went wrong. A prank was played on her. A prank a prank was played on her when she lost her life behind it. Okay. What what kind of prank? I'm a little confused. It was to see what her reaction be. Um and when I came through the drivethru with a toy and behind that I heard two shots and I got in the car and took off. Antoine claimed he and Naisha were so close she came to him with the idea of pranking his daughter Maria and her boyfriend. He then went into detail explaining all the preparations they made for the simple prank. So what were the details of this? How did you set this up? Um I will give you no money. Uh just like no money like it like surreal robbery. And I'm not give you no money. I'm not like yeah don't give don't give no money. Um and uh she kept on well okay I'm going back to the night that happened uh and after uh we talked about I like I told her like don't give me no money don't don't give me no money cuz if you give me the money it is robbery um and I said okay okay uh I want to see I'm going be down you be down laughing oh my god this and that And I went through with it. I went through with it. And like I said, shots are fired. I got little car took them off. Were those plates on the car? No. You took them off? Did you take them off completely or did That's part of the prank. That's part of the prank. I took them off. That's part of the prank. You took them off. Okay. I don't know. Above and beyond for a prank. It seemed convenient that Antoine hinged everything on the girl who could no longer defend herself. and the stories he was telling the interrogators weren't adding up. To make things worse, it was only Mariah who was collaborating the story. Even his girlfriend denied any knowledge of a prank. That left the officers with one conclusion. Did you know what kind of cameras they had there? I used to work there. You used to work there? Yeah. So, you're very familiar with the the layout and the situation? Yeah. Okay. So, I'm to the point where just based on I obviously, you know, we've been working this investigation for eight days. Okay. So, we've talked to a lot of people. We've reviewed a lot of video and the pieces are not adding up. And it very much seems like a lot more people were involved in this and this was not just a prank. No. That this was a setup robbery. No. No. No. We're not saying that it's your fault. We're not saying that the the shooting part is your fault at all. Okay. Like that you can't predict. You can't predict the actions of somebody else. Right. Part about it is I just want to make sure that you're not just putting this on on her name because she's dead and can't talk for herself. Right. But just to be clear, Mariah knew about this prior to the day. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. After the investigation, the officers found out it wasn't just a prank, but a staged robbery gone wrong. The district attorney has discretion. He explained to you earlier, your character goes a long way, right? Your intent was not to have any of this happen, right? Your intent was quick lick, thought it'd be easy, get a couple bucks in your pocket, right? Yeah. And everybody go on. Burger King, big corporation, not a big deal, right? 100%. Does anybody in this think that your intent was to get Naisha killed? Antoine pleaded guilty to felony murder. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison and 5 years of supervision. Derek was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. And he was charged with 5 years in prison and 4 years probation.
