We're getting kicked out because we spoke a different language. This entitled celebrity thought his popularity gave him a free pass, but he's about to find out that the rules apply to everyone. On November 27th, 2022, popular NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was on a flight to Los Angeles. When flight attendants went to ask him to fasten his seatelt before departure, they noticed that he was unresponsive and appeared to drift in and out of consciousness. Concerned for his well-being on the 5-hour flight, they contacted Miami date police for assistance, and that's where everything went downhill. I understand that that one passenger is he needs to get off, right? He's severely intoxicated, belligerent. No, we just that he was unresponsive prior to push. He seemed okay. Then after when they pushed, they tried to get him to put his seat belt on, but we were still passed out. Plane came back. We're trying to get him up. Couldn't get him up. Called paramedics. They finally got him up. Crew at this time don't feel comfortable with him flying cuz they're not sure what's going on with him. So I just kindly asked him to just go ahead and play, put him on the next flight, which actually leaves an hour and a half from now. But now he's being belligerent and non-compliant. He don't want to come on. So unfortunately refuses to come on. All right. So, that's what we're going to have to do. We're going to have to deplane everybody. Once we have everybody deplaned, then we'll deal with him. Officers approached Beckham and after a brief interaction, they concluded that he was okay. However, flight crew members weren't comfortable with Beckham remaining on the flight, citing his earlier unresponsiveness and the belief that he had been clubbing the previous night. Officers then decided to have a little chat with him. Get up, please. You okay? Yes. What's wrong? The airlines called for you, sir. I don't know what it is. You good? How you doing, bud? Nothing responsive, but they're trying to get your command specifically. He's probably on a deep sleep. You know where you're at, sir? He's probably tired. I mean, okay. He looks good to me, right? Where's his pants? Where's the pants? Does he have his pants on? Yeah. Yeah, they're on. Are they on now? Yeah, they weren't on before. We're trying to accommodate you. Okay, pick up your position. We're trying to We're trying to accommodate just listen what's going to happen, brother. I just I don't I want to avoid any embarrassments or any issues. The crew, the the captain's the one that makes the final decision right now. For whatever reason, they're asking you to leave. They're going to rebook you on the next flight. I don't want it. Well, this is what's going to happen. As soon as they get off, you can do whatever you got to do. We're going to have to We're going to have to deplane everybody on this plane and then you're still going to get off. That's fine. Okay. What I saying is I was like less about what was going through. And once again, ladies and gentlemen, you need to take all of your luggage with you. Please make sure you take all of your luggage. All right. So, we're going to have to go through that process, then we're going to ask you. Okay. All right. Thank you. Appreciate it. Okay. What's your name? Sergeant Garcia. I'm Garcia. Okay. So listen, just make yourself comfortable. Once we do plan, then I'm going to ask and then we'll just walk off, okay? And hopefully they'll they'll switch on the next flight. Okay? Beckham refused to leave the plane willingly. So the crew decided to deplane all passengers to address the situation. He must have thought he was a superstar and could not be kicked off the plane. His actions inconvenience the passengers and one of them decided to give him a piece of his mind. You don't have to have to talk to him. Everything wrong with the world looking at me to get off the plane for you. I would never ever in my life get off the plane for you. Specifically you. You going to wait 40 minutes and I'm going to be on a private plane home. Good. Yeah, your fat. Yeah, I will get your off the plane for a second. Yeah, I bet. Enjoy the cheese board on the way home. The officers treated him like they were starruck. Eventually, they managed to get him off the plane. Don't forget your stuff up here. [Applause] No. Yeah. Mommy, I'll call you right back. I'm in the middle of something. Okay. Okay. Yeah. 5101. You got everything. That's not okay. Hey Thank you. No problem. As the officers escorted Beckham off, some of the angry passengers booed him. After the incident went public, Beckham claimed on Twitter that people lacked firsthand knowledge of what happened. It's unclear if there were any charges against him. However, despite Beckham's actions, this next football player made his situation look minor. On September 11th, 2023, former NFL quarterback Adam Pac-Man Jones requested assistance from the flight crew for a malfunctioning charging port for his seat. However, before the attendant could help out, he reportedly became belligerent, leading the staff to contact the police. Are you ignorant? No. Listen, I asked one question. In a minute, you're about asked the man. I said, "Look, this is ungod." I said, "Look, bro, the uh plug ain't working cuz I was trying to plug in my computer." Like, I got I got witnesses. I got 20 witnesses that was sitting right beside me, sis. Only thing I asked was the plug is not working. Can I get another plug? He like, "Shut up. I didn't say Okay. Normally, we're going to have this discussion up top cuz other people have to go up the lane. you need to bag and let's go cuz I don't mind going to jail. You know that fine. Officers perceived alcohol on Pacman's breath and his unruly behavior showed that he was likely intoxicated, but Pacman denied all accusations of drinking. While in the police car, he accused the officers of being biased. Bro, can I ask y'all? I know for real. Look at me, bro. Can I can Hey, listen. I'll pull him through. Listen, bro. I'm asking you a question. I know. Hey, listen. You going to pull him through? Put your feet in or he's going to pull you in. Can I talk to you for one second? You'll have the opportunity to talk, bro. Put your feet in. So, y'all, you get It's wrong. That's all I'mma tell y'all. Sit back. Sit back so I can seat belt you in. All right. You going to seat belt in with my hands in the back? Yes, sir. All right. Can I put them in the front cuz what's your name? Janine. I'm suing you. He definitely getting sued. Why are you doing all that? Why are you doing all that? Your safety. [Music] Don't touch me, man. I know you hate me. So, can I answer a question mark? Yeah, you you do, bro. There's no way. No, you can't even tell me a reason why you got me back here. You said I was drunk. Breathalyze me. I'm not drunk. Then what? What's your next option? Are you going to listen to what I have to keep talking over? But it's just ways of bro. Like you just only thing I'm saying is you accusing me of my background, not of me right now. You accus you accusing me of what you thought I was and what I ain't. Go ahead. I'm listening. Go ahead. Okay. You arrested for disorderly conduct. For what? I didn't say What's the What's the rule of disorderly conduct? Tell me what's the rule for you to lock somebody up for disorderly conduct. Bro, dude should have remained silent, but he clearly forgot the everything you say would be used against you in the court of law part. We going to it all up. Yeah, it is. It's going to it all up because a black man that don't like white people going to do the same thing that you doing to me cuz that's what you doing to me. This ain't got nothing to do with if wrong or right. Cuz you know goddamn wrong. I mean, you know goddamn right. I ain't wrong. If I was wrong, every last person on that plane would have came out and say something. Not one person got a complaint. How in the All the officers got a complaint with no no complaint from the mother people that's on the plane. Come on, man. Like, this ain't right, bro. Pacman was charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threatening. He pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge, and the other two charges were dismissed. He received a conditional 30-day jail sentence subject to additional further offenses and unlawful contact with the airport. However, this next celeb made the intoximated Pac-Man looks sober. In January 2025, former UFC lightweight champion Kabib Nurmaged was seated on the exit row of a flight to Los Angeles when flight attendants questioned his ability to assist in an emergency, citing concerns about his ability to speak English. Despite Nurmma Gobodov's assurances of his capabilities and English proficiency, the crew insisted he change seats or disembark because I know the language and I know it's not about the language. I know how to help you and now you guys. After refusing to move, he was escorted off the plane. Despite the setback, Nurmma managed to book another flight and arrive in Los Angeles. The airline stated that the removal was due to non-compliance with FAA regulations requiring passengers in exit rows to verbally confirm their ability to assist in emergencies. Clearly, the flight crew members have a problem with anyone who speaks a different language, like this popular YouTuber. In December 2016, popular YouTube prankster Adam Salai and his friend Slim Albeer recorded a video on a Delta Airline flight departing from London's Heathro airport to New York. Clay claimed that they were ejected after passengers became uncomfortable upon hearing them speak Arabic. Guys, we spoke a different language on the plane and now we're getting kicked out. That's insane. Now we're getting kicked out. We're getting kicked out because we spoke a different language. Is it This is 2016. 2016. Look, Delta Airlines are kicking us out cuz we spoke a different language. Cuz you spoke a different language. Thank you so much. challenge. So, you know, you guys are racist. I cannot believe my eyes. I cannot believe it. I spoke a word, a different language, and you said you feel uncomfortable. Cuz I spoke a different language. I I can't believe it. I can't believe my eyes. Why are you guys doing that? Cuz we spoke a different language. That is so upsetting. And you guys, you serious? I'm about to cry right now. Seriously. Cuz we said a word in a different language and there's six white people against us bearded men. Six white people against us bearded men. How did you kick them? I feel uncomfortable. No, they're going to kick us out once we go outside. That's what's going to happen. They're going to kick us out. Delta Airlines and I have an account with you guys, too. I spoke a different language and they're kicking us out. That is Thank you so much. Thank you. I appreciate being kicked out. Thank you so much, man. All those white people complaining about these people speaking a different I am upset that that's happening. Really? Thank you so much. You should kick them out. They cursed us out. He told me shut the up, but we never cursed. He told me to shut the f up. We never cured. freedom of speech. They can speak in whatever language they want to. On the flight, however, Delta Airlines claimed that based on crew and passenger accounts, Salai and Alber attempted to disrupt the cabin with provocative behavior, including shouting. The airline emphasized that such conduct is not acceptable on their flights. When it comes to unacceptable flight behaviors, this next celeb wins the gold. In September 2023, Morgan Osman, a 35-year-old influencer and former cast member of Oxygen's reality show Bad Girls Club, was retrieving her luggage from the overhead compartment while using explicit language toward other passengers aboard an American Airlines flight. Call me a [ __ ] again. Call me a [ __ ] again. Yeah, you did nothing wrong. I said you showed up. No, you shut the up. You shut the up in here, [ __ ] Goodbye. You shut Fil me. I'm Instagram famous. You bum famous. Shut up. Osman later addressed the incident, claiming she voluntarily left the flight to prevent the situation from escalating further. She stated that she was provoked by another passenger who accused her of occupying the wrong seat and was making derogatory comments about her during a FaceTime call. While Osman's behavior was shocking, another celeb made her look regular. In January 2023, American track and field athlete Shakari Richardson was recording a video during the safety demonstration when the flight attendant allegedly leaned over to inspect whether her phone was in airplane mode and demanded that she end the video, but Richardson refused, escalating the situation. Not working today. If you have small hands such as cell phones, tablets, and smart watches, please. I'm recording me, but you jumped in my video. So, I caught you because you jumped in my video. You're harassing me at this point, so I think you should stop. I think you should stop. I think you should stop. You see him, right? Y'all see him, right? Y'all see him, right? Okay. Okay. But I'm sorry. It's not me. Talk to him. No. No. M. Don't talk to me like that. I'm an adult. Do not talk to me like that. Do not talk to me like that. Tell him to stop. If you do not know what's going on, do not yell at me. You can stop recording. No, I'm not going to stop recording because I was making a video to myself. I'm going to not stop recording. And this video will show what you're doing. So, I would appreciate who are you talking to? Thank you. Like, no. Richardson was removed from the plane. However, the airline confirmed that she was placed on another flight. This wasn't the only time a celeb refused an instruction from a flight crew. There is the shocking case of Reed. In October 2018, actress Terra Reed became upset over seating arrangements and the absence of a pillow aboard a Delta flight, leading to a disturbance that prompted the captain to return the aircraft to the gate. Reed and her small dog were then asked to deplane. [Applause] I feel industry and we should run out Captain, you got a road bag as well, right? Tara Reed later claimed she left the plane voluntarily after flight attendants insisted her emotional support dog be placed in an overhead bin. Delta apologized for the inconvenience and said the flight later departed with a short delay just when you thought you'd seen it all. Another celeb raises the bar. In July 2024, Sandra Peppa Denton of the hiphop group Salt and Peppa purchased two seats on a Southwest airline flight to Nashville due to a knee injury sustained in a 2018 car accident, requiring her to wear a knee brace. Despite her ticket being marked disabled and utilizing a wheelchair greeter, a flight attendant informed her that she couldn't occupy both seats since she wasn't in a cast. And I'm injured only. Um, and I bought two tickets. I have two pass I have two passes, right? Um, they want to know if I could get the wheelchair now, even though I needed medical assistant today. Um, I was injured. I just got injured, y'all. How y'all doing? So, these people took took me off the plane, brought this other man on the plane, and took me off the plane. I'm not trying to do the race thing, y'all know I ain't trying to do that. So, hi y'all. I never thought I would be a part of the Southwest Southwest prom of getting kicked off the plane, y'all. Peppa, I can't believe it. I'm sorry that you feel that way. And the other passengers are saying they're going to write a letter for me, everybody that's on the plane, and help complain for me because they was I was wrongly removed off the plane. I know. Can you believe it? me. OMG. So now I'm exiting. I have to show them. No, no, I'm just show them. So see Oh, well. See the hands? So this is what's happening to me. The door and I don't want you to get in trouble. I'm going to more in trouble cuz you removed me. You said I would you removed me off the plane. The flight crew attempted to move her to an emergency exit row, but due to her disability, she couldn't sit there. After consulting her assistant, who advised her to document the incident, Denton was unexpectedly asked to deplane without a clear explanation. It was fine. And you and you apologized. So then you came back and now you were you were filming everybody and then that was No, I wasn't I was talking to my assistant. I wasn't filming. Inconvenience 14. This is my first time filming actually. I apologize for that if that's how you feel. But I need you to get off the jet bridge or because I started filming. I just want to be clear on my kickoff of the Southwest. Is it what's my reason so I can be firm? The safety and everything for the crew and everything like that. So I need you to get off the safety of the crew for me. Just be very clear. Ma'am, I need to close this. So the safety of the crew, I needed to get off because of the safety. I need you to get off this. We need to push this flight out. I apologize for I understand you feel wrong, but I need you to get up to the difference just so for your safety. And this is the other one, y'all. She She came and brought another man and took put him in my seat. And these two people took me off the plane. Literally took me off the plane and put another man in my two seats that I bought. Two seats. Not one, y'all. Two. I apologize that, you know. Eventually, Southwest Airline refunded her $2,500 for the seat, but did not cover the $300 wheelchair assistance and $500 car service she had arranged. The airline stated that she did not comply with crew instructions, leading to her removal to ensure the safety and comfort of other passengers. Denton is reportedly exploring legal options.
