Hey, we're not trying to do a scene in front of your daughter. I understand. >> I understand. >> I got to go to work and y'all pulling me over FOR SOME [ __ ] CUZ IT'S A GAME. SO FUN TO Y'ALL. >> STOP. >> You >> stop talking. It's okay. I'm calling Sergeant Karen because you're you're sitting here playing in my face. >> You don't I don't have to stay in my vehicle. You didn't make me sit in my vehicle. >> Some entitled Karens mistake attitude for strength. They raise their voices, challenge every command, and act like intimidation will put them in control. But that tough act only lasts until officers stop giving them room to perform. These are moments when entitled Karens think they're tough, but it backfires. It starts with the annoying mom disobeying every command as if it were the absolute truth in every situation. >> I asked you I asked you so many times. >> On March 18th, 2026, officers stopped a vehicle after seeing it being driven erratically and committing multiple traffic violations. And before they could even settle into the stop, the driver was already out of the car and moving the situation in a different direction. >> Get back in the car. >> Okay, get back in the car. Okay, so what are you doing? >> I don't care. Get back in the car. You don't understand what I'm saying to you. >> Okay, so then get back in the car. >> I want to take my coat off. Relax. >> Okay. And it's off. So what are you doing? >> Putting my coat down. I want to put my coat down and put my coat down. Okay, you got your coat off. So, get back off, >> right? So, get back in the car. >> So, then do it. >> All right. >> 334. >> Instead of returning to the vehicle when told, Tiffany kept pushing back, forcing officers to shift from simply directing her back inside to bringing her fully away from the car so they could get control of the stop while she argued that the way they were handling it was upsetting her child. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. I'm okay. I don't care. Get out. Then get out of the car. I asked you. I asked you so many times. >> ID. Let me insurance. >> Get out of the car. >> Okay. Just >> We gave you No, don't. No. Don't put your hand right. >> We gave you. >> No. No. No. No. Don't. Don't. No. Look. Look. Stop. Okay. Look. Stop. I know. We're not We're not trying to pull over in the gas station. Don't make her. >> Walk over here with us. Please start just complying and listen to us, okay? We're not trying to do Hey, we're not trying to do a scene in front of your daughter. I understand. I understand. But listen to us. Please. >> She asked you multiple times to get back about this [ __ ] Look at that. >> Okay. I understand. No kid. >> Listen to us and comply. >> The goddamn gas station. I'm not moving. >> Stop voice. >> She killer hers first. >> It's you and I talking. Relax. >> I'm calm. >> You are not. She was neither. >> Okay, it's you and I now. >> I just told you scared my daughter. That's what I'm saying. >> I put you in handcuffs right now because you're you're acting >> situation is don't do this [ __ ] Turn. Come here. >> Come here. Walk over here. Walk over here. No. Walk over here. >> Don't do that in front of a [ __ ] scare children. >> Godamn. >> What's going on? >> So anyway, I'm coming this way and I'm coming over to the side. So she pulls me over or her lights go off and I pull up into the gas station. Wow. >> She pulls up behind me and says something about get back in car. >> Okay. >> I was just taking off my coat. So there's no You know what I'M SAYING? Y'ALL ALREADY WHY DO YOU GOT to >> What's with That's just going to cause more tension. >> I understand. >> Calm down. >> I'm calling. >> No, I know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. After that initial tension, one of the officers slowed things down and started talking her through what had happened, explaining why the stop had escalated and trying to bring the contact back to a level where they could actually sort out what was going on. >> Oh, dart. I understand why it's upsetting. We're just we're trying to figure it out, right? So, if she's if she's Let me explain something to you. If she's stopping you for something, I don't know if you've gotten as far as why she's stopping you. I don't know. >> I haven't. >> Okay. We're going to figure that out. But >> the law enforcement officer is stopping you. Okay, they have the right to have you in or out of that vehicle. Okay, so that's where that was coming from. When you start getting up here and elevated like that, you can understand why our responses that way. Okay, so let's bring down a bit and figure it out. All right, I understand why it's upsetting. I do. And maybe you're having a bad day. >> All right. I just don't like when you start, you know, and the cops still. Come on. She already got her hand on weapon. You got your hand. That [ __ ] is straight. >> Listen, I wasn't there. >> I got kid in the car. I got to go get other kid and use like me. Like, come on, dog. Don't do me like that. >> I hear you. >> God damn. That [ __ ] excites me, too. >> What's your name? >> Tiffany. >> Tiffany, let me ask you this. >> Does she know anything about you? >> No. >> Does she know whether or not you have an intent to hurt her? >> No. >> Okay. So, let's start there. All right. >> For a moment, that seemed to work. Tiffany began answering questions, explained that she was in the Navy, and the conversation briefly moved away from the confrontation itself and toward the practical issue officers were now trying to figure out, including concerns about the vehicle and what would happen next. >> I do. >> Oh, okay. So, yeah. Okay. And I'm military, so I get it, you know. But >> I hear you. I understand. What branch? >> Navy. >> Navy. You go to the the naval base out in >> Yeah, over there. Are you like active right now or is >> No, I'm right there. >> Okay. >> How much time is it supposed to take? I got to go give my daughter. >> Understand. Um it looks like they're trying to just figure out. >> Okay. It's just they're just getting a minute. They have to check something with the car and that's we're just waiting for the other officer to come and talk to you. That's it. Okay. The first one you talked to. Like I said, I don't know the basis for the reason that you were stopped. I I'm not sure. That's something that she'll come over and discuss more with you. But I will tell you this, anytime you are out of the car, in the car refusing to comply with lawful orders, it does make the process longer. Okay. >> How much did you pay for yourself? You just >> I bought it online and it was cheap. toilet. >> Where's your phone in the car? >> Yes. >> Where's your phone in the car? >> Uh, it's probably in the in the uh cup holder. >> Okay. In the front. >> All right. Grab that for you in a sec. >> Thank you, too. >> You're welcome. Do you have somebody else at home that can go get your daughter? >> I don't. >> You don't? Okay. >> Do you have any like friends or anything that could help you out? No. Okay. Okay. No, I was just asking cuz we're It's just something's taking a little bit. Yeah. So, I just wanted to make sure that someone could come get your girl at the high school if it's going to be a little bit longer. I don't want her to sit there waiting wondering where you're at. That's all. >> I totally see. >> But even as that calmer tone continued, the stop had already gone past the point of being just a traffic warning because the earlier refusal to follow directions was now part of the investigation, too. And officers had to start thinking about how to handle both her and the child still in the car. In the end, concerns that the car might be stolen were not sustained. >> The car does come back stolen. And because you did resist me actively and you obstructed all my verbal commands to you, I am putting you under arrest. Okay. >> So, we're going to Oh, no, no, no, no. You are. Stop. We're going to figure that out. >> Wait, wait. Can I call grandmother? >> You can have the station. >> So, if you want to have a wait for someone to pick her up, that's fine. >> No. Stop. >> We're figuring that out. >> Don't let me forget that. >> Are you going to let me talk? Stop. Stop. Stop. >> I don't like this. My baby's in the car and I don't like that. >> Sam. >> Okay, hold on. >> First of all, my car is not stolen. My register stolen, but I saved money for my car, so I don't know where. >> We can bring you back to the station and talk about it there. All right. We're not going to talk about it right here. All right. So, the daughter, all right, you want some? >> Go ahead. >> Yeah, we can do that or we can bring her back to the station. >> So, >> do you have anything on you? >> I don't I don't. >> Okay. I want my daughter picked up from school. >> Right now, we're focusing on this. We will allow you to make phone calls to make arrangements for that. Right now, we're >> I understand. >> I don't think you guys really understand. >> I'm going to unzip this. Can you hold it real quick so I can unzip this? >> Come on, guys. Cooperate with us and we can make you rent sooner. If you're going to be uncooperative, it's just going to take longer. >> This is not about cooperation. act. My daughter is at school. We're trying to deal with this first and then we can >> Well, my daughter is at school. So, let us finish with this and we'll work on getting your daughter. Okay. >> With my daughter up. >> God damn it. >> Can you Can you back my >> Can I call my grandmother? >> You will when we get to the station. >> Yes. It's 2 minutes ride to the station. >> Yeah. Listen, Tiffany. Listen. I listen to you, kid. The high school daughter. >> Yes, we'll figure that out. >> Stay in the car and let's bustle you and get to the decision sooner you can make those phone calls. >> In the end, concerns that the car might be stolen were not sustained. But Tiffany was still taken into custody and later cited for multiple traffic violations along with charges of obstructing and resisting arrest. Next, we meet an entitled nurse who completely lost control because she claimed she had to get to work. >> GAME IS SO FUN FOR Y'ALL. [ __ ] you. >> On March 23rd, 2026, officers in Harrison stopped a vehicle after a plate scan indicated the driver's license was suspended. And from the first exchange, the stop was already becoming more difficult than a routine documentation check. >> I do have to let you know I have a camera on. It's our policy. Okay. Do you have your driver's license, registration, insurance with you? >> Can I >> Are you the registered owner of the car? >> I am. >> Your driver's license is suspended. >> Yeah. What's that? >> That's for license. >> Well, it's suspended in the system. That's why I'm stopping you. >> Well, that's uh And I don't understand how you guys run a tag. I >> We can run any tag that goes past in the whole state of New Jersey. Oh, you drove past me, right? I ran pretty much every tag that drives past me as long as I can see it. >> I can't find my registration. >> Looks like you have a lot of tickets in there. So, >> yeah. For the same stupid stuff y'all pulling me over for. Nothing. >> If you know your driver's license is suspended, why are you still driving? >> I'm not suspended. >> Your driver's license is suspended. >> I'm not suspended. >> You are? >> I don't know why it's not. I can't find my registration. >> I had it up there. That's where I put it when the last police officer pulled me over. I put it back up there. I don't have my registration. >> Do you have your insurance or are you able to pull your insurance on your phone? >> My insurance is on my phone. >> Okay. >> I don't have my registration. Y'all stole that so I can go to court and sell you sh. Y'all always coming up with something. I can't wait to get the [ __ ] out this state. Stupid heavy [ __ ] up there. That's what you stole. >> I didn't steal anything, ma'am. This is the first time that I'm meeting you to you, sir. >> You said that's what you stole. >> I'm speaking to you, sir. >> You are speaking to me. >> I am not. Now I am. >> As officers worked through the paperwork, the situation changed again when the insurance came back inactive. And while the driver kept blaming the stop for making her late to work, the focus had now shifted to whether the vehicle could legally remain on the road at all. >> Britney Richardson, >> this is not an active policy. >> Britney, your insurance company is saying that your insurance is canceled. So, >> it's not. >> Your insurance company, I just called them Progressive. They're saying that the policy that you gave me is canceled. So, do you have any other insurance proof? >> I don't. >> Okay. So, you don't have insurance ON YOUR CAR? >> NO. >> OKAY. DO you have somebody that you can call that can come out here and give you a ride cuz your car is going to be impounded? My policy is not expired. >> They're not saying that it's expired. They're saying that it's inactive, which is probably for non-payment. >> No, it's not. >> Okay. Well, do you have any other proof of insurance? >> That is insurance. >> I paid a portion of it. I still paid for if I I still paid for something. I'm still entitled to money on if I get an F or not. I'm That's still money is paid for. >> That's not what they're saying. >> I don't give a what they say. THAT'S WHAT WE PAY FOR. >> I'm asking you a question. Do you have any other proof of insurance? >> I DON'T HAVE INSURANCE. THAT'S IT. WHAT DOES IT SAY ON THERE? I'm paid up until a certain date. >> No, that's not what it says. That's not what it says. >> What [laughter] did you say? >> Okay, step out of the car. >> Step out of the car. >> Did you specify? [snorts] >> I haven't raised my voice to you one time. >> I don't give a what you did. >> So, this is your problem. It's not mine. >> And I'm trying. Judge, I got to go to work and y'all pulling me over for SOME [ __ ] CUZ IT'S A GAME THAT'S ALL FUN FOR Y'ALL. >> STOP. >> [ __ ] you. >> If you keep it up, you're going to be considered a disorderly person. >> You and your rules. >> Okay. So, do you have somebody that you can call? >> I DON'T. I DON'T. >> OKAY. WELL, where do you work? >> I don't know [laughter] where the I am. This is some [ __ ] I'm sick of thising [ __ ] with y'all [ __ ] toy cops. >> Toy cops. >> Once she was told the car would be impounded, the encounter moved further away from a normal traffic stop. Instead of waiting for the process to finish, she began walking away from the scene, forcing officers to move from explanation to enforcement before it escalated any further. >> Well, your car is being impounded, so why don't you get on the phone and call somebody to come give me a ride? >> Have anybody >> Well, where would you like a ride to then? >> I DON'T WANT TO RIDE ANYWHERE. GET THE OUT MY FACE. >> Just keep the car. I don't want it. >> All right. Here's your driver's. >> Don't grab stuff out of my hand like that. I didn't give you your tickets yet. >> You can't. You ain't gonna do [ __ ] about it. You piece of [ __ ] >> Come over here now. Don't walk away from the stop. You're not released yet. You're going to get yourself arrested. Knock it off. >> ARREST ME THEN. >> COME OVER HERE. >> You >> come over here. >> If you're NOT GOING TO ARREST ME, THEN GET out the out of my face. >> Don't walk away from my traffic stop. It's not done. >> You said he was going Drop it. >> Stay up against the car and stop moving. >> No. >> Stop resisting. Stop resisting me. Get in the car. >> Let me get my car. >> Get in the car. Let me get my foot in first, YOU KNOW. JUST THROW ME IN THERE, >> piece of [ __ ] >> Even after that, the stop still did not settle down. Officers were trying to finish the arrest, secure her safely, and explain what would happen next, but she kept rejecting basic instructions and turning a suspended license stop into something much larger than where it had started. Please don't put that on me. >> No, you're getting a seatelt. It's the law. >> No, don't put it on me. >> You're getting a seatelt. It's the law. >> No, don't put it on me. Please don't put it on me. >> Scooch over this way. You're just making this harder on yourself. Scooch over this way. I don't care which one you can get it in. Step out. Go around the back of the car to the door on the other side. Keep going to the door. Go stand in front of that silver bench. She was charged with driving without insurance. Shriber Striber driving with a suspended license, resisting arrest and obstruction. Next, we meet an entitled woman who thought she could take control of the scene by turning everything into a race issue. >> We We're black, BUT WE'RE NOT LIKE STUPID BLACK. >> Give me your ID. You're going to jail. >> That doesn't work like that. That's It doesn't work like that. On February 1st, 2026, deputies with the Pulk County Sheriff's Department responded to a strip club after the manager reported that she and an employee had been assaulted and wanted the customer involved along with her friends trespassed from the property. >> Plate 146 coffee plate Lincoln adm? >> Yes. Every single female in that car used to be criminally trespassed. >> Okay. They had assaulted one of our dancers today. >> Which one? Hey, I need everybody's IDs. >> You let me out the car. >> No, stay in the car. >> Okay, >> everybody, give me your IDs. >> You don't have to. >> We We're blind, BUT WE'RE NOT LIKE STUPID. >> Give me your ID. You're going to jail. >> That doesn't work like that. That's It doesn't work like that. >> Yeah. I'm investigating a fight and you're all being trespassed and you was in a fight. It doesn't matter. >> I say you didn't ask. Hold on. First of all, let them first of all investigate. First of all, there was never you're not doing you're not going ABOUT THIS RIGHT NOW. SO, HOLD ON. I don't give a [ __ ] >> You're not going about this in the proper manner. >> Yeah. And so, I just need your IDs. Okay. >> Okay. So, you can say, "Hey, ladies, can I get your IDs? I'm investigating." No, you did not. You said, "Give me your IDs. I'm investigating the fight." You tried to make yourself sound like you're superior, and you're not. >> Okay. Give me your IDs, please. >> No, it's not. It's not. Give me your IDs, please. You don't need IDs because we're not trespass. >> No, you're not. No, we're not. We >> From the outset, the contact outside was anything but simple. When deputies began asking for IDs so they could sort out who was involved and issued the trespass warnings, one woman in the car immediately pushed back, turning a basic identification request into a confrontation about orders, authority, and whether she had to comply at all. >> Stop talking. Stop talking. Stop talking. Stop talking. It's okay. I'm calling Sergeant Kar because you're you're sitting here playing in my face. You don't I don't have to stay in my vehicle. You didn't make me sit in my vehicle. >> Okay. Put your hands behind your back. >> But for what? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> For what? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> For what? >> What am I being? >> Cuz you're not following my orders. >> For not following your orders. >> She's not doing >> I'm being arrested for not following orders. >> Not doing anything. >> Oh my god. Y'all are going to jail. >> Oh my god. >> That's crazy. >> Not following orders in the jail. >> I told you. Give me your ID. You're going >> No, that's not that's not ID on her. I had her >> I have my ID. >> No, they're going to jail. >> No, that's fine. >> I got her. Please stay over there. Thank you. >> I'm not going to jail. >> SHE SAID BIRTHDAY. >> NO. >> GOOD. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. >> NO, that's not the problem. They're going. That's the problem. >> That's the problem. I know the dollar. >> Do you want to take the PBT at all? No, it's not the issue. >> What's your name? >> What's your name? >> Not to go into jail for not following orders and string. >> No, I said give me your ID. You're being trespassed. >> Huh? >> It's not being It's not >> Give me your Give me your name. You're getting charged with interference. >> It's not being It's not interference. >> Okay. You just got charged with interference. While Monteo was being detained, the rest of the group began explaining what had happened inside, describing the night as a birthday outing that turned into an argument with staff and security while deputies worked through whether what started as a dispute at the club had crossed into something more. >> It literally, when I say that security guard in there started shoving me in my back and I'm the main one telling my friend, she was not being aggressive. She literally is just like frustrated cuz she's like, "It's my birthday and I just got here 10 minutes ago and I don't even know the girl you guys are talking about." Cuz I guess the girl is a stripper who dealt with my sister's ex-boyfriend, whatever. And as soon as she saw my sister, she said, "I don't feel comfortable with all of those people who just came in being here." >> So, was anybody in a fight? Were you were you guys fighting with each other? >> No. >> Okay. Were you guys fighting with the bouncer or anything? >> No. The bouncer started shoving me in my back. And when I say you can ask anybody in here, I was the one saying like, "Let's just go. It's whatever. Like, we're not getting our money back. Cuz the owner was like saying, "I'll give you $100. Get the out of here with your ghetto ass." And I was like, "Dog." Like, I genuinely wanted my money back, but at this point, there's no point to try to get it back anymore. So, then I was like, "We might as well." >> So, you already paid admission to go in. Did you make it all the way inside? >> Yes. And then we were in there for maybe 10 minutes and then they walked up to a security and I'm like, I don't even know who you're talking about. >> Cuz I didn't even hardly see the dancers. I was talking half the time. >> Okay. And it was like then they walk up to us and say we're all not welcome here because of a dancer. And then we get walked up to the front. So we're like, "Can we at least get our money back cuz we just got here." And then the owner comes up saying pretty much saying, "Oh, I'll give you $100. Get the out of my face." And then like obviously was being sarcastic. Was not trying to give us a refund. So then I'm like, "Okay, let's just leave." And then the security guard, I guess they're like a they them. I'm not sure. >> Okay. >> They literally started pushing me in my back. And then my sister's like, "You're a man. Like don't hit my sister." Cuz I genuinely thought it was a man. And then they're like, "I'm not a man." And then pushing us. And then now they're saying that we were assaulting them. That's crazy. A man was pushing us. And I said, "I will call." >> It's a man. I don't know what >> it's a boy. That's literally was born a boy and they're calling yourself a girl. You're not a girl. You're a man. And that was pushing me. >> And now it's becoming an issue. That's crazy. Oh my god. >> Like this is too much. To clear that up, deputies went back inside and got the club's side of the story where staff described being struck with a shoe and said they mainly wanted the group gone and formally trespassed, not dragged into a bigger case if it could be avoided. >> Coming up. >> Okay. >> So, she got hit in the face with one of them as she was trying to walk away and then I got nailed in the ear with the other one that she threw. >> Okay. Where did they hit you at? >> Uh, just right here. >> Right here. >> I can feel a little bit of red on your nose. >> Yeah. So they hit you with >> it was I think the slippers are still in the lobby. >> She threw her shoe at me is what she did. >> She threw her shoe and hit. >> You want charges? >> No. >> Who's the victim? >> Yeah, they just threw a shoe. >> So you we just wanted them to get out of here. >> Just just trespass them. >> Yeah, >> I was going to say make it easier on >> you guys are trespassing here. Okay. >> Okay, that's we don't even go We don't even come through. This is my first time I've been here in literally like 4 years. >> But I [snorts] just don't want It's my friend's birthday. >> She's a single mom. I I know that it doesn't really matter that much to y'all, but she's literally a single mom. >> Okay. She Who's watching her right now? >> I He's at my parents. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Is he spending the night there, I'm guessing? >> But it's like we all have church in the morning and we go back to our reg regular program like tomorrow. >> Well, she's getting charged with two simple misdemeanor so she can bond out. She's getting charged of public in talks and public in talks and interference. >> But why? She was in the car. >> No, she exited the vehicle to get up into my face. When I asked her, I said, "Give me your ID. You're going to jail multiple times." >> Can't for this once. Like Like I'm I understand. >> We have these problems every weekend. Okay. >> I know. But she does not. Like >> this is what happens. But no one listens. Okay guys, I'm not going to argue with you. It's fine. Okay. That's what's going to happen. Okay. I will let her know. You guys can bond her out in a few hours if you want to. All right, you guys are trespassed. Please don't come back. >> By that point, though, the situation had already changed for Montesa. If she had simply followed directions at the car and let deputies handle the trespass issue, the night may have ended there. But after refusing orders and continuing to escalate, the focus shifted away from the club dispute and onto her own conduct. >> Who spelled that for me? >> M O N T E J. >> M O N T E. I'm sorry. taking me to jail on my birthday. >> I don't care that it's your birthday. I'm sorry. >> I know you don't care. It's >> Your first name is M O N T E G H A. >> No. No. M O N T E J Ha. >> J Ha. >> I have border warrant in Lynn County and Power County. >> Okay. And what is your birth date? Okay. All right. You need anything else? >> Were they fighting out here when you got here? >> They said no. They said they walked in um they paid and apparently a bouncer knew them or something and said, "No, that's not happening." Uhuh. Get out of here. >> All right. Her phone with her so she hasn't. >> Sure. Of course. Thank you. [snorts] >> Say bye. >> All right. Stay in the car for me. >> Yep. >> Take a deep breath and blow as hard as you can to here. Okay. >> You're breathing in. I need you to blow out. >> I know, but you got to breathe in before you breathe out. >> Yes, please. Thank you. >> Okay. Deep breath in right now. >> Mhm. >> Go all the way out. >> All right. 179. Go and hop on out. She was later booked into the Pulk County Jail and charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts. Now, witness the arrest of a mentally ill woman with a blood alcohol level four times the legal limit by the police. >> Thank you. Don't do that. Okay. >> On May 21st, 2023, officers on patrol quickly spotted a Toyota SUV pulled over on Shore Road with a flat tire. As they approached the driver, something immediately didn't feel right to the officer. >> Take your foot off the gas. Thank you. How are you? >> I'm good. >> What happened? >> Thank you. I flat tire. >> I see. Looks like you've had that flat tire for some time. Where you coming from? >> Um, Atlantic Highlands. >> Where you going? >> Um, >> what's that? Middle Town. >> You're going to Middletown? >> Yeah. >> You passed Middletown? >> Yeah. >> Did you hit something or >> Yeah. >> What'd you hit? >> Pothole. >> Pothole. Huh? >> Yeah. >> Wow. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> That's pretty bad. Have you called anybody or anything? >> Yeah. >> Who'd you call? >> Who at the boyfriend? >> Your boyfriend? Where's he coming from? >> Middle town. >> Where were you? Uh yeah. Where were you in Atlantic Islands? All right, let me um >> Okay, before you get back in the car, how much did you have to drink today? >> Nothing. >> Nothing at all? >> No. >> Not one? Not a glass of wine? Not a beer? Nothing? >> No. >> The mangled tire was clear evidence that she had been in a pretty serious accident somewhere. Yet, she still looked bewildered and didn't understand. Still, she firmly denied having consumed any alcohol, as if she believed the truth could somehow be hidden. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Just got to make sure. >> All right. Tell you what, come over here for me real quick. >> Who's this car registered to? You? >> Um, yes. >> You? Okay. Come over here for me. Over here. Face me. Face me. Take a step away from the car quickly. Just one step towards me. There you go. Okay. Do me a favor. Just put your sunglasses up for me. >> Like that. Okay. Can you see me? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You can you can read and understand the English language, right? You understand what I'm saying to you? >> Yes. Yes. Yes. >> Do you have anything wrong with your eyes that I should know about medically? Like, do you have a glass eye or anything like that? >> No. >> No, not at all. Okay. >> Okay. Can you see the tip of my finger? >> Yes. >> Yes. Okay. So, what I want you to do is I want you to follow my finger with your eyes and your eyes only. And I don't want you to move your head. Do you understand? >> Okay. >> Okay. Stand up straight. Just keep your arms at your sides. Okay. Ready? Don't move your head. Follow my finger. Very simple. Just follow my finger. Don't move your head. Okay. The initial eye exam revealed a high likelihood of severe alcohol intoxication. However, she still smiled as if she were perfectly sober. The next exam didn't seem to go as smoothly. Just like that. Okay? When I tell you to, I want you to take nine heel to toe steps this way, turn around, and take nine heel to toe steps back. Okay? It's going to look just like this. Watch me. One, two, three, until you get to nine. Okay? When you get to nine, you're going to keep that foot on the ground. You're going to take a series of small steps. You're going to turn around. You're going to take nine steps back. One, two, three, until you get to nine. Okay? Keep your hands at your sides. Your foot has to touch your your your heel has to touch your toe on every step. And I want you to count your steps out loud. Okay? >> Do you understand? Mhm. >> Do you have any questions? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Go right ahead. Don't hold on to your car. Put your hands at your sides. She failed the moment she stepped out of the vehicle. Those unsteady steps were enough to shatter the sober act she'd been trying to maintain just minutes earlier. From that point on, the situation shifted into an entirely different category. So, I am going to place you under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Please turn around and put your hands behind your back. Please turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> No, no, no, no, no, no. Don't, don't, no, no. Don't pull away from me. Put your hands behind your back. Thank you. Don't Don't do that. Okay. Don't make this hard. Okay. Do you have anything in your pockets? >> Okay. Come with me. Not >> Come with me. You're under arrest for driving while intoxicated. I'm sorry. >> Hop in. Sit on the seat. One foot after another. >> It's not. >> Sit tight. >> Her arrest was predictable as she was bound to outsmart the experienced police officers sooner or later. She was then taken to prison to complete the remaining procedures. Make a left into this room. >> Okay. Do you have your phone in your pocket? >> I do. >> You do? Okay. >> But this is not really necessary. There we go. Okay. There. All right. Here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to take these handcuffs off. >> Thank you. >> And then you're going to sit down on this bench and I'm going to put this handcuff on you. You understand? Turn. Turn around. Put that on the back of your head, please. put your arm on the back of your head, please. Thank you. Okay, have a seat. >> Right arm, please. Once processing was complete, Sergeant Gajvski issued citations for multiple offenses, including driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless operation of a vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident. Now, we meet an entitled woman who had no problem breaking the law right in front of a police officer. >> OH MY GOD. WHAT YOU WANT TO BE NASTY TO ME FOR? I didn't even do nothing. >> On August 13th in Florida, police received a call reporting a suspected shoplifting incident at a CVS store. Court records show a woman was found placing multiple items into a child car seat that she had covered with a blanket. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> What are you putting in your stroller? >> Something. >> Yeah. You want to lift it? Is that a baby in there? >> No. >> So, what's in there? >> Stuff. Oh, you want to lift the sheet or am I going to lift it? >> You can lift it. >> You lift it. >> You can lift it. >> I did this with my sister. She's in the car. >> Turn around. I'll get your sister, too, cuz she's probably in that handicap parking spot. >> Yeah, she is. >> Yeah, I know. Wow. Good job. >> I don't have to. >> You don't have to do anything. >> I do. >> No, you don't. >> You don't. So, so you need to steal moisturizing conditioner, right? You need to steal >> you need to steal perfume, right? Or detox shampoo, right? You need to steal shampoo, right? And and ovulation strips. >> Okay, sir. >> There ain't no Okay. You're the one who came here stealing things. It ain't okay to steal. >> You don't have to grab me like that. JUST BECAUSE I DID SOMETHING WRONG. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GRAB ME LIKE THAT. THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU GET TO GRAB ME LIKE THAT. >> I didn't do nothing. SIR, I I WANT TO SUPERVISE YOU. >> YEAH, you're going to jail. Yeah, you can talk to one at jail. >> I don't care. >> But this time, her scheme was quickly exposed and she immediately betrayed her accompllices, claiming she did it for her sister. Of course, that blatant lie led her further astray than she ever imagined. >> Sit down. Sit down. >> I don't have to. >> You're going to get another charge of obstruction. >> Sit down. >> You don't have TO PULL ME LIKE THAT. >> OVER HERE AND SIT DOWN, TOO. >> Get over here and sit down, too. >> [ __ ] Are you pulling on me like that for? Sit down. Sit down. >> Can I clear traffic? >> You're going to jail, okay? At a minimum for obstruction. You don't pull away from the police. >> I didn't pull away from you. >> And your car smells like wheat. So, we're going to search that. And you're parked here. Okay. And you're you're not handicapped. >> But sir, >> that's that's not how you use a decal for handicap now, is it? Are you handicapped? Is that issue to you? >> That's >> Is that issue to you? >> No, it's not. >> Okay. So, so >> can I get sir? >> You're going to jail. >> You're going to jail. Stand up. >> HEY, WHY ARE YOU PULL LIKE SIR? LOOK HOW YOU'RE PULLING ON ME. >> Cuz you need you need >> Yeah. Stay with her. Control yourself and walk to the car. >> I don't care. You cannot >> cuz YOU DON'T WANT TO. >> NO, YOU'RE YOU CAN GET ONE AT THE JAIL. >> SOMEBODY ELSE. NO. You have to pull on me. >> You can get one at the jail. >> It doesn't matter. You don't have to put DON'T FACE ME. DON'T PUT DON'T PUT YOUR HAND ON ME like that. >> You're going in the car. >> OKAY. CAN I HAVE SOMEBODY ELSE? >> NO, YOU'RE GOING IN THE CAR. >> IT DOESN'T MATTER. I DON'T CARE. Sit in the car. Sit in the car. Sit in the car. >> I don't care. >> What' you do to >> You could take that. What are you What else are you >> The struggle to get the suspect into the patrol car wasn't going smoothly as she remained defiant and refused to even provide her identity. Meanwhile, her sister, waiting outside, was already scrambling for excuses as officers began questioning her involvement. >> That's why I'm coming to ask you. >> That don't got nothing to do with me, sir. You being rude to me. And >> we're going to we're going to Here's what we're going to do. We're going to give you a ticket. Okay. You're lucky I'm not taking you to jail as well as being an accomplice to her. >> I'm being an accomplice with her. So, >> So, what did you all come here for? >> That don't got nothing to do with me. She's a grown woman. >> Did you drive here with her? >> Yes, I drove here with her. But listen to her. At the end of the day, that don't got nothing to do with >> So So she can run out so she can run out with the stolen merchandise. >> You know what? Here's here's what here's what we're going to do. No, no, no, no, no. Here's what we're going to do. >> I'm going to refer you to the state attorney's office for charges. >> No, I'm going to refer you to the state attorneys for charges. >> You can't do it, >> sir. Okay. Okay. All right. Is there any weed at all in this car? >> I don't You feel me, sir? I really don't like I ain't do it have nothing to do with me. Like >> I I will I'm going to take you to jail if we find even a a scound of weed. >> You're not there's no weed in my car. It smells like it. You right. >> Yeah, I know, right? Look that [ __ ] out. DUMP IT ALL OUT. NO, [laughter] BRO. >> And you got And you got And you got >> Look, look at this. You got a car stinking of weed with diapers in here. Real real real good. Real good. Yeah. Right here. You got a medical card? >> What? >> You got a medical card? >> Do I have a medical card? >> Medical marijuana card. >> I don't have a medical >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest, too. >> What? I'm under arrest. >> Possession of marijuana under 20 g. >> I DON'T WHAT? [screaming] I HAVE WEED IN MY >> YOU see the roaches there? >> Oh my god. >> Actually, we'll put her in your car. >> Oh my goodness. Oh my god. WHAT YOU WANT TO BE NASTY to me for? I didn't even do nothing. >> Have a seat. >> We got her name. >> The sister thought that if she didn't personally take the items out of the store, the police had no right to touch her. Then when the marijuana was found in the car, that was when her freedom officially ended. >> My car, NOT MY NOT MY not my drugs. >> Whose car is that? >> That's uh my >> your home girl. >> Hey. Yeah. Not Yeah. Driver. Not my car. My name is Passion. Is it? >> I know. Well, now I know your name is Passion after I asked you like 10 times. >> Uh, and I didn't have to speak to you. I didn't want to speak to you. >> You slung me on the ground. >> Okay. All right. And you know when you play back the video and you're not slung on the ground. >> I don't care. They can play it back and you will see you see. >> Okay. Listen. Listen. I would I would love to have a conversation with you, but only if you could tell the truth. >> Okay. >> Okay. Is that possible? >> Possible. >> You do that. >> Possible. >> Okay. Let's start over. Okay. >> Let's start over. What's up? >> All right. I'm Deputy Brown. >> My name is Passion. >> Very good. Passion, did you intend to pay for any of that stuff? >> Um, I was. Yes. So, I had 20 I like 25 30 $30 in 30 something dollars in my bag. I had like $50 in some change, maybe 60 or so on my food sim card >> um that I was going to use and then just whatever the rest of it was. I'm not going to sit here and lie. Like when you came up to me, I didn't lie to you. Like I had no reason to lie to you. As soon as you walked up in there, I knew what time it was. Like I knew what I was doing. I knew what type of risk I was taking. >> Well, listen. How old are you? >> 21. >> You got a lot of time to change your life around him. >> Okay? A lot. Don't Don't become one of these people that steal for a living. Okay? Cuz there's people out there like that. I'm not saying that's you, but they they they start this way and then next thing you know, they're they're stealing things. They're going to Miami trying to sell things. They're doing all sorts of stuff to survive. Okay, go to school. Do something. You're 21. >> You don't need to be at CVS at 1:00 in the morning stealing. You know what I'm saying? Running into Deputy Brown. All right. I'm going to give you the number to the act shelter. If you need a place to stay, call them. Okay. Because the value exceeded $750, Passion was charged with theft of valuable property. She was also charged with resisting arrest without violence. Prosecutors dismissed the drug possession charge against Passion's sister due to insufficient evidence to definitively prove the crime. Now we meet a drunk driver who crashed into multiple vehicles and acted like it was no big deal. On June 17th, 2024, deputies with the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of an intoxicated woman who had allegedly crashed into several parked cars in a bar parking lot. So, from what we've seen in the video footage, you ended up hitting this one all the way back here first, kind of careened off it and came into the other ones. Does that ring any bells? Yeah, >> I did. >> Yeah. Does that ring any bells at all? >> No. >> No. I came around this corner right here and when I came right here, >> somebody smacked into me. Maybe that gray car right there. >> Okay. Were you the only one in your car? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And I know you I asked you this already, but are you hurt at all? >> No. Okay. Obviously, your airbags went off. Were you wearing your seatelt? >> Correct. >> Okay. Um, so again, no no passengers, no one else we're looking for or anything like that. >> As far as I concerned when I came around this corner. >> Okay. >> If it were that car to hit me, >> I was coming around the corner. >> Okay. >> And I was doing as what I was supposed >> Well, it was it was stationary and it was parked >> cuz again, we we watched the security video and that's what it shows. It's parked there. You're coming around the corner here. You hit the first one and then you kind of bounce off of it and hit the other three. So, did I cause all >> Yes, you did. >> Okay. >> Um, I was trying to get your recollection of things, but that doesn't quite add up. >> If that's what it is, that's what it is. >> Okay. How much have you had to drink tonight? >> A drink. >> A drink. Okay. >> No more than a drink. You're winking. Does that mean not not a single drink? >> A drink. >> Okay. When officers revealed that surveillance footage had captured the entire incident, her alcohol clouded mind simply refused to process it. At that point, deputies decided it was time to expose the drunken story she had been desperately trying to sell. Did you have >> Dude, I've had a [ __ ] yingling. >> A yingling? Okay. So, just one. Um, about how long ago? >> [ __ ] 2 hours ago. >> 2 hours ago. Was that here at Livingston or was that somewhere else? >> Here. >> Okay. So, nothing else since? >> No. >> Okay. Anything before that? I'm not trying to be an [ __ ] to you, but like dude, I'm just trying to go home. >> Okay. So, at this point, I am concerned that you are impaired, so I'd like to do some field sobriety exercises. Are you willing to do those with me? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, what I'd like you to do is just stand right where you are, put your feet together for me, and keep your hands at your sides. Follow it with just your eyes. And I want you to keep your head nice and still. Yep. Do you understand that? Okay. I do. >> All right. If it stops moving like that, just keep focusing on it. Good. Now, keep your hands at your sides and just stay like that until I tell you to start. I don't want you to do anything else until I tell you to. Okay? If you step out of this position like you did there, just step back into it for me until I tell you to do anything else. Do you understand that? Okay. Do you understand that? All right. >> I do. >> Okay. Do you have any questions? >> Okay. Can you put your right foot back in front, please? >> So, the right foot's going to go in front. Okay. From here, your next step is one. And you can begin whenever you're ready. >> Off heel. >> Off heel. Off heel. Heel heel. Eight steps. Stagger the turn. Hands are behind her now. Heel heal. Minutes later, reality hit hard as her performance during the field sobriety tests told a very different story. After failing the tests, she was forced to face the outcome she had been trying to avoid all along. >> The line though. No, you're good. Face me. Face me. We're not done yet. Okay. So, we're done with the line. So, you can ignore that. Okay. All I want you to do is stand as you are. Do you need to take a breath for a minute? >> Mm-m. >> Just take a couple deep breaths instead of the quick shallow ones. I please want to get it over with, please. >> So, stay with your feet together, hands at your sides. Okay? >> Sorry you guys want to do me the little >> But bear with me. I have instructions I have to give you, okay? You may have seen it on TV or anything like that. I need you to ignore anything you've seen on like live PD or cops and just focus on what I'm telling you, okay? Cuz I don't want you trying to remember something you saw on the internet and then doing it incorrectly because you weren't listening to me, okay? All right. So, feet together, hands at your sides, and just stay like that. Don't do anything until I tell you to. Do you understand that? Okay. Okay. >> All right. When I tell you to begin, what you're going to do is you're going to pick up a foot. >> I'm sorry. I can't do any more tests for you. >> Okay. Listen to me for a minute. Okay. >> Can you listen to me for a second? >> The tests that you had for me before, they were fake and they forced it. They forced it. They listen to me for a moment. They listen to me for a moment. They forced it from Listen to me for a moment. Ma'am. Ma'am. Ma'am, listen to me. >> Get away from me. Get away from me. You're under arrest. Hands behind your back. Hands behind your back. We're done. >> Get away from me. >> What's your name? >> She immediately slipped into denial, insisting the test was completely fake. The deputies had run out of patience and moved to end her freedom right there. In fact, they had been willing to give her one last chance, but her next move made that idea disappear instantly. 714 to dispatch. >> White female 1015 signal one. Do I have a female deputy? I can have 51 for a search. >> What? You're going to make me. >> Is that better for you? >> We're not doing that. Okay. >> Is that better for you? >> Is that better for you? >> Is that better? >> That's 911. >> Oh, does that make you feel better? Oh, do you feel so good, mother? I can't feel my arm. >> Okay, >> I have to read this to you. So, I need you to listen up. Okay. >> I am now requesting that you submit to a lawful test of your breath for the purpose of determining its alcohol content. If you refuse to take the test I have requested of you, your driving privilege will be suspended for a period of 1 year for a first refusal or 18 months if your driving privilege has been previously suspended or if you've been previously fined under Florida State Statute 327.35215 for refusing to submit to a lawful test of your breath, urine, or blood. Additionally, if you refuse to take the test I have requested of you and if your driving privilege has been previously suspended or if you've been previously fined under Florida State Statute 327.35215 for refusal to submit to a lawful test of your breath, urine or blood, you will be committing a misdemeanor in addition to any other penalties which can be imposed by law. Refusal to submit to the test I have requested is admissible into evidence in any criminal proceeding. Do you understand what I just read to you? >> I understand. >> Okay. Do you still refuse to submit to this test? >> Correct. >> Okay. Mark time 2219. >> I'm just gonna put her in the back seat. >> She completely brushed aside the legal warnings being read to her, carrying herself with a staggering sense of arrogance. After refusing the breath test, Bianca was placed in the back of the patrol car, and once the doors closed, her true colors began to show. >> Yeah, we're going to have to go to the hospital anyway. >> Feel good. Father's Day, youing No, I CAN'T BREATHE. I can't breathe. I [screaming] HAVE [ __ ] PERFECT. NO, I CAN'T BREATHE. I mean help help. [screaming] Somebody help. Somebody help me. I can't breathe. Help, PLEASE. PLEASE, PLEASE. I'm eating my own tooth. Please help me. Please, please, please. There's blood all over my legs. Look at me. Dude, I begged you for the past 20 minutes. You're getting sued. Hey. [clears throat] >> The woman was then transported to the Sarasota County Jail where she was booked and charged with driving while under the influence, resisting officers with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer. Last but not least, the intoxicated woman took her disregard for the law to a whole new level. to do. >> 9 10 11 12 Like I'm not lying to you. Oh, >> okay. You're under arrest for >> On June 28th, 2024, police stopped a speeding vehicle. Instead of pulling over, the driver drove into Taco Bell's drive-thru service area, nearly hitting an employee and breaking a sign. >> She was open. I'm so confused. >> Okay, put the car in park. Is it in park? >> Yes. The girl said she was open. I'm so confused. I'm sorry. Okay. You're going 80 mph on military. You're going almost 80 mph on Indiantown Road. You ran the red light at military. You ran this red light coming in here. >> Yes, you did. I I was right behind you that whole time. What is going on? >> I'm sorry. >> Do you have your driver's license with you? >> I do. >> Can I see that, please? We're going to be here a sec. >> Something bad happening. >> When you ran over the cone that was blocking this off, too. >> Well, I asked her. I said, "Can I get some food? I'm really hungry." She said, "Yes." >> Okay. >> That's why. >> Did she not know? >> She did. Yeah. Give me a sec. >> I'm not I'm not lying. >> Right. I don't know if you talked to her or not, but all I saw was you run over this cone, too. >> And after driving like that >> after >> Okay, I need I just need your driver's license, registration insurance, please. Okay. >> Where are you coming from? >> Driver's license, please. >> Thank you. When faced with officers surrounding her for speeding and nearly causing a fatal crash, her first response was to ask for food and insist she had done nothing wrong. Her erratic, disconnected remarks immediately raised red flags and gave officers reason to suspect something was seriously off. >> Do a DIY test. I will do it right now cuz I've done it before. I will do it again. >> Do you have any medical problems? just anxiety and um like anything else you want to like interpret for the night for the people like who are at Mangoes you actually might not have caught like it's so funny >> can you give me what I asked you for >> I don't [ __ ] know bro >> ma'am I I haven't been swearing at you this entire time I don't know why you're >> I'm mad because like like cuz like you catch me out of all people who are like [ __ ] drunk as [ __ ] if you You want to catch them? Catch them. Here is what you need. >> I need you to step out, please. >> There's something almost predictable about these encounters. So many suspects claimed they had only one or two drinks, as if that number is somehow too small to prove impairment. But the officers wanted to get to the truth of what was really going on >> of you driving. >> I'm sorry. >> Okay. Because that that's kind of indicative of somebody that's driving under the influence. Okay. So, I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't. >> Okay. Give me >> if I didn't do that. Okay. So, are you okay with doing that? >> All right. Give me one second. I got to grab something out of my car and then I'll come right back and we'll get started. Okay. >> Get the underage people who have Johnny Mango and are roughly open. >> I almost watched you crash two times. Okay. You want to start yelling at me about stuff? I'm going to start yelling at you about stuff. >> The way that you were driving, you're going to absolutely kill somebody. >> I'm not going to kill someone. Have I killed someone? I lived here for my >> You almost ran into that guy that was pressure washing and the lady that was standing here. >> I'm not drunk. Get that underage people who are [ __ ] up other than me. This is [ __ ] up. This is [ __ ] up. >> Are you willing to continue with this? >> This is [ __ ] up. My younger sister is 19 and she tells me she goes out to Ralphs and topside all the time with people who are underage. It's [ __ ] up. Okay. This is my entire job is to do DUI investigations. >> Do whatever you [ __ ] want. This is [ __ ] up. >> Okay. Are you willing to to continue with this? >> Do you want to [ __ ] my room my whole life? >> Huh? >> Do you want to ruin my whole life? >> No. But I also want everybody to get home alive and safe. >> So do I. I'm just trying to get through. >> In Hannah's mind, her mistake seemed harmless because there are plenty of people out there who do worse. She was trying to distract the officer from the danger she had just caused. But her attempts at justification were largely ineffective in the face of a stern police officer. >> Feet together, heels and toes touched, and arms down to your sides, and watch this red light with your eyes and your eyes only. I don't want you to move until I tell you to. Do you understand? >> I understand. >> Okay. Like I said, I just want you to follow this red. >> Look at the 19-year-olds. This is so [ __ ] up. >> Cuz I'm not [ __ ] up. >> So [ __ ] up. I'm trying to continue with this and you're not making it very easy. >> I'm listening. >> Okay. >> Go. >> If you want to continue doing that, >> we're not going to be able to do this. >> Okay. Sorry. >> So, if you'd like to participate the red light that you said Okay. >> If you'd like the red light if you'd like to participate with this, you need to listen to my instructions. >> Yes, sir. >> Very carefully. >> Okay. Yes, sir. >> And not interrupt. Understand? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. I want you to stand with your arms down to your sides. Stay just like that. Don't move until I tell you to. Do you understand? I understand. >> Okay. I want you to watch the red light with your eyes and your eyes only. It's going to move back and forth and up and down. I want you to follow this light only with your eyes and don't move your head. >> Okay. >> Do you understand? >> I understand. >> Okay. >> Don't move your head. Keep your head still. Okay. The first eye test appeared to go fairly smoothly, but any sense of relief would be short-lived because the test that would truly expose her impairment was still waiting just around the corner. >> Stay just like that. Don't move until I tell you to start. Do you understand? >> When I tell you to start, arms down your sides, still. There you go. When I tell you to start, I want you to lift one of your legs, whichever you're more comfortable with, about 6 in off the ground. It's going to look like this. >> I want you to keep your knees straight, arms down to your sides. No one's >> good at this. Watch your foot and point your toe so your foot's parallel with the ground. Just like this. In this position, not yet. In this position, all I want you to do is count out loud 1,001 1,002 1,003 and so on until I tell you to stop. You understand? >> I understand. >> Do you have any questions? >> So, I just have to hold on my foot and go 100. >> Yep. Until I tell you to stop. Understand? Do >> you have any questions? >> No. This is just stupid. >> You start whenever you're ready. 100,00 one 100 1 2 100 3 This is like I'm I'm nervous cuz I'm balancing. 100 1 2 >> Make sure you watch your foot and keep counting. Okay, >> dude. I'm watching my foot. What is this? What is this? What is this? A measure of Okay, >> I'll do it for real. >> 100 1 2 1 1000 3 100 4 100 5 106 1007 10006 >> You can stop. >> Just moments after confidently bragging that she was a dancer with incredible balance. Hannah stepped into the one leg stand test and lasted only 3 seconds before giving up. At that moment, any path out of this situation officially disappeared. >> The rest of the things I'd like you to do. 9 10 11 12 Like I'm not lying to you. Oh, >> okay. You're under arrest for DUI. >> What? Why? >> For DUI. >> Because I did. >> Nope. Cuz you're not listening to me. I've given you plenty of opportunities. Don't turn around on me. >> I have listened to you. >> Do not turn around on me. >> But I have listened to you. What is that? I have listened to him. What is that? I have listened to him. What is that? Okay. >> I have listened to you though. You think I'm lying to you? >> Come here, please. >> Can I call my mom? >> Not right now. >> Just going to have a seat right in here. Okay. I'm going have a female come over here, take some of your jewelry off. All right. >> My jewelry? >> Yep. >> No, you're not going to have some of my jewelry take off. >> What the [ __ ] >> Swing your foot in. >> No. No. >> Swing your phone in. >> No. No. With you. Call them. >> Who do you want me to call? >> My father. >> No, that's not happening. >> No, it's happening. >> How old are you? >> 25. >> Okay. Why do you need your dad? You're 25 years old. >> Be my dad. No, I'm not getting in this car. >> Get your foot in the car. >> No, you're not going to touch me. Get your foot in the >> No, you're not going to touch me. This is [ __ ] up. >> Get your foot in the face. >> No. No. No. >> She is charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon. Driving under the influence of alcohol, nonviolent resistance, and reckless driving. >> I need to survive in here before you take those kind of extreme measures. My rights, too. >> No, you have >> Well, I have my rights, too. >> You have rights. On January 3rd, 2023, an officer pulls her over for a reckless illegal right turn [music] that nearly sparks a crash. And then the situation escalates when she admits she doesn't even have her ID on her. >> So, where you heading right now? >> I'm going back home. So, I'm going back home. >> Where's your job at? >> It's right there. So, uh there >> is there anything illegal inside this vehicle? Who smokes weed in here? >> Uh it's just my car. H. >> So, nothing illegal. >> Can I look inside? >> I again, I apologize. I was just heading home. Like, I really I really didn't know that like I can't turn right there. 100% aware of it now. >> The reason why I messed is cuz I do smell weed. >> I apologize. >> And I I I really didn't mean to. Like I I had no idea. I'll be super aware of the intersections from now on. >> Um >> I'll be way more confident. >> Do me a favor because we're going to cause traffic back up here. Can you just pull into that street right here? Just make a right. Sorry. >> The odor was unmistakable. Yet she continued to challenge the officers, declining the check and trying to stay calm while every sign was already working against her. >> Excuse me. Um so yeah, that's that's the reason why I'm asking is because I do smell weed. Obviously, I'm not if if there is someone in here, you're not going to get cited or anything for it. >> Like a roach or something like there might be something like that, but I don't >> I don't know off the top of my head. >> I got you. Yeah. Like I don't we don't site no more for those. >> I smoke. >> I just My only concern is if there's anything else other than that. That's why I'm asking you. Is it okay if I take a look? >> Well, this is what I got. This is not >> But that's not what I'm asking. Uh, I think I prefer not to like cuz I >> So based on that, I could just so you know. >> Okay. I'd prefer if you didn't. >> Okay. Well, I'm telling you based on that, >> I understand. I'd prefer if you didn't. Like again, I'm super sorry. It was just seriously. It was just an accident. Like I I really didn't mean to. >> I'm not trying to give you a hard time. I get it. >> I hear you trying to get home. >> Really bad day. Like as it was. I was supposed to go to the office. People weren't there. I just I'm trying to get home. I I really didn't know that there were such things that I could use. >> All right. Here. Come on. Step out. >> Huh? >> Please come. >> I have not written you anything. I'm just trying to be >> I don't I also know my rights and I don't think I have to. >> You do. So, don't make it hard. >> I really Please. I just want to go home. >> I'm asking you to step out nicely. >> I'm asking you to step out nicely. Can >> you get your name and match number? >> It's officer master 732. The officer ordered her to step out for a lawful search. She insisted on waiting and repeated that she doesn't have to comply. >> Hey there, miss. >> Hey there. Okay. >> Get stripping. Hi there, >> M. >> Can you talk to me now, please? >> One moment, please. Sorry. >> Okay. >> I I uh I got pulled over by marijuana. >> Um I accidentally cut off your uh companion there. I >> kind of used to the area in the area. >> Okay. >> I was aware of the traffic buzzer. >> Okay. pull me over to that car marijuana. >> Yeah. >> As a surgeon, so I'm comfortable with that. I have people over here. >> Okay. So now what? >> Um I'm not comfortable with my vehicle. My dad has to come up here and help out as well. >> Okay. Well, I can smell the marijuana too as I'm up here and I So >> it is. So if an officer tells you you have to step out of the vehicle, you have to step out of the vehicle. That's a lawful order. Okay. So >> that's not true. I'm I'm being very nice and patient. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. If you comply with me, I'll give you whatever you want. But right now, >> comply with anything that I want to officer in the law. So, give me your badge number, sir. >> Oh, are you a sovereign citizen? >> I would like to know your name and badge number. >> Patrolling Venus badge 722. Okay. >> Okay. So, you've been given a lawful order to exit the vehicle three times by me. Okay. >> This is the first time you've actually asked me. >> Okay. So, >> can you please exit the vehicle? >> I would like to wait. >> Can you please exit the vehicle? >> I would like to wait. Can you please exit the vehicle? >> I would like >> Can you please exit the vehicle? >> Okay. So, please >> instead of staying calm and listening, she hid behind two cameras, focused on recording every move the officers made rather than the words being spoken >> the vehicle. And if your father comes here and interferes with the traffic stop, things could get a lot worse. Right now, if it's just marijuana, I'll be honest with you, we do not we do not site for marijuana. However, it is probable cause for search and we will need to seize that because you cannot have that legally. >> I would like to wait. Do you understand that? >> Yeah. I would still like to wait. >> Okay. Can you please step out of vehicle? >> I would still like to wait. >> Okay. If you continue this, you're going to be arrested for obstruction. >> Okay. >> And I was given an unlawful arrest and you can do that in court. >> Good luck with that in court. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, you've been given a lawful command. I did it seven times in a row. Okay. Or eight. That was eight. >> I also have my rights and I'm allowed to wait. >> [clears throat] >> Um, >> yeah. Great. Great. Fantastic. >> Are there any firearms in the vehicle? >> Okay. >> Yeah. So, listen. I'm going to tell you, if you do not comply, if you do not get out within the next [snorts] 30 seconds, I'm breaking this window and you're being drugged out. Do you understand that? >> Do you understand that? If you do not comply, I've given a lawful order for you to exit the vehicle 10 times. If you do not comply within 30 seconds, I will break the windshield and drag you out of the car. Do you understand that? I don't think I can make that any more clear to you. You must exit the vehicle. Okay? You can post this. You can think you're cool posting it on the internet. You are wrong. You are wrong. Okay? So, you must exit the vehicle. >> You can peacefully exit the vehicle. Yep. on the scene. >> Well, I feel >> this is all this is all in you. Okay. >> I'm thoroughly scared my safety and I'm supervised around the scene. >> Refusing to exit the vehicle. >> Ignoring every command from the police, this is the consequence the stubborn driver ultimately brings upon herself. >> The window if you do not exit the vehicle. >> Officer, I really need I need a supervisor here before you take those kind of extreme measures. >> Ready, >> sir? No. No. Sir, please. I need a supervisor on the scene, officer. I need a supervisor on scene. I need a supervisor on the scene. >> I need a supervisor on the scene. >> Hands by your back RIGHT NOW. HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK right now. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. Let me get this out your hands. >> I'm not letting go of that. >> Okay. I'm going to put on top of the car. >> You are being recorded by three of our cameras. >> And now you're under arrest for obstruction. How's that? Huh? That's what you wanted, right? >> Even in handcuffs, she kept pointing the finger at police, stubbornly claiming she had no idea what she did wrong. Explain to me what happened and what led to the situation that that is here now. >> Um who's this officer who just walked by? >> Gentleman in the ball cap there. >> Yeah. >> Um he's the one who initially pulled me over. Um I apparently accidentally cut him off. >> Okay. >> I'm not familiar with that intersection. Was unaware that it was um it's actually my father right there. >> Okay. >> Was unaware that that I cut turned red there and I just started recently working with him. his office. Um, >> okay. >> Uh, he's crime investigator. Um, been criminal justice for over 30 years. And so I was actually out there doing some work. Uh, I had to head home. Didn't realize I made a mistake. Uh, the officer in the ball cap or at the >> Yeah, the officer in the ball cap was the one who was um, >> pulled me over. Initially, >> I didn't realize I made a mistake. He declared my car smelled of marijuana. I was like, "Okay, got me to pull over here." I did. Um, he called the backup. The second gentleman there ordered me out of the car. I was confused as to why. Uh demanded that I get out of the car. I told him I felt scared and unsafe and he proceeded to bust my window out. >> Okay. >> And now I'm handcuffed in the back of a cop car. >> Okay. >> Very unaware of exactly what I've done wrong besides accidentally turning red >> on a red light on accident. So, um >> I'm very scared. >> Okay. >> And I'm very uncomfortable. >> All right. Um, I'm very upset about my car. Uh, I didn't mean to I didn't mean to turn red. I'm sorry. I I would have gladly taken a ticket for smelling like marijuana. >> Like, I didn't know I did anything wrong. So, I'm very shaken right now. I didn't know I did something and I just wanted to go home. I want to go see my kids. I want to go see my husband. I don't want to be here right now. >> Leaning on the status she claimed as a former cop's daughter, she convinced herself she had the right to blindly justify her own behavior. >> Okay. I accidentally cut somebody off. Now I'm in handcuffs. >> No, you're not in handcuffs for cutting him off. You're in handcuffs because of this attitude right now that you're working up to. And that is believing. >> I'm genuinely scared. An officer approached my car AND BLEW MY WINDOW OUT WITHOUT WARNING. I was just trying to go home. He gave you scared. I was trying to gave you numerous warnings. I wanted a moment to think and he couldn't get >> He gave you Why wouldn't you just listen to the officer? >> Because I wanted a couple of minutes to figure out what was happening. He explained my rights, too. No, you have >> Well, I have my rights, too. >> You have rights, but you have to listen to the officer when they're explaining this process to you. Just like right now, >> when I say jump, you say how high. Like, I'm allowed to have my rights and and figure out what's happening before I have to be detained. >> So, you can continue to just ignore what they're saying. >> No, I'm not abide by what they're saying. >> I would have happily complied. >> How many How many times How long would he have had to keep asking you to open the door? Two more minutes >> to let myself 10 seconds. Why? >> Why you? >> I didn't do anything. I'm sorry that I accidentally cut your officer off. >> That's >> That was my mistake. >> Okay, we're beyond that. >> I know. You busted my window out. >> Okay. And we're trying to explain to you why that happened and you you don't want to see the reason for that happening. >> Then I apologize. >> Okay. Okay. So that's that's the reason that we're at where we're at now. Okay? I'm just trying to explain that to you so that you understand, but you keep getting very emotional and worked up and hopefully you are starting to understand why I'm saying why we're at where we're at now. Okay. Okay. Sit tight. >> When her father arrived, he looked utterly fed up with the string of pointless arguments his daughter had been making. >> Yeah. She explained that. Yeah. >> So, um, some former law enforcement, private investigator offic. >> Yeah, she explained that as well. >> She works for me. So, he called me, comes up at the office. I don't know what the student boyfriend's one of the goddamn sovereign, you know. >> Okay. >> Well, I yell at him all the time. [music] >> So, that's why I I just >> Yeah. >> I mean, we can see >> I can release her. Great. Okay. >> That'll be, you know, that's my car insert under my name. Okay. >> Um I'd be happy to but I'll make sure whatever >> we could see, you know, just from talking to her in a little bit of the back of the car here, you could see the the the tinges of the sovereign citizen or at least the >> the the Okay, one of those came out of the car when when we actually opened up the passenger side door. So, >> well, I'm going to go back over to the office. I got my dog's over there. I got to get him home and then um >> Okay.
