Well, the other guy said >> want to know what what what what were you doing? Did she hit you, slap you? Uh she she tried a couple times. I hit him. Well, when when you hit him, like punch him? >> hand, yeah. Or slap him, or what? >> Yeah, it was a it was a slap, like from right here, a slap. Across his face? >> Yeah. Okay. So, what's going on? Well, two wrongs don't make a right, and they're uh real upset, and and that's about the extent of it. I guess you probably see the rest of it. I see. Yeah, I'm a little So, tell me walk me through what all's happened here today. Well, just today she she got my phone and got it turned on, and and all the messages that uh that I was talking to another female went to her phone. Uh We've been having some problems, and and I entertained another female I shouldn't have, and and she seen it and got upset. Okay. Start out and tell me what's going on. I got messages of him talking to another woman. She called me and everything. It's a woman he works with, and I told him I was coming home to burn all his stuff. There's some of it. He came home freaking out. I went to leave, and then I I don't know. I ran into the back of the car, and and everything >> She lost her mind for a minute. Crime of passion, more or less. >> Well, let's let's see let's see what So, what happened when you come home? And then so she was calling me really upset and stuff, so I and she said she's going to burn the clothes. I didn't want my work clothes getting burnt, so I tried to show up, and she said she wanted me to pack my stuff up, so I figured I'd get my stuff packed up and leave before things escalated. And and she picked up a brick and tried to throw it at that car, and I didn't want that to get more damage. So, before I could leave, I I kept her from throwing more bricks. Okay, so did this get physical? You guys get punching one another? Yeah. Huh? Yeah. Okay. So, who punched who? And tell me what happened. I hit him, and then he held me down. Because she was picking up bricks, and I didn't want anybody to get hurt. Okay. So, was you ramming the car, or what's the deal? >> Just once. Okay. So, which which car is yours, which is hers? Let's start out with that. Both of them are mine. Okay. I was So, which one was she trying to throw bricks at then? She was trying to throw bricks at the SUV. Okay. You know how it is, but I mean he got caught. Yeah, but >> And you know how that would >> I don't even want to talk. I don't want to hear it. >> [laughter] >> Okay. I just want to know what what what were you doing? So, you stopped her from doing that, and then what happened? Kind of waited for you guys to show up, and then she calmed down for a minute, and at some point somebody on the one of the dispatchers on the phone asked if we could separate, and while she was on the phone, she stayed calm enough. I I I got off her and put myself between her and the escort of the SUV. I need to leave. First off, this is not the way to I mean, I get it. People get upset, things happen, okay? But main thing now is so, did you start the fire burning stuff in the yard when you got here? He wasn't here yet. Yes, I started the fire in the front yard. Before any of this happened. He wasn't here. He had just got caught, and he was driving around drinking. Okay. And then I came back, and I said I was going to, and I did, and then he came, and it all escalated. There's just a lot more that must have happened in between that. Yeah, I just don't want to get in trouble. So, how did how did the vehicle get damaged? She was hitting the the black car. She getting in the black car, and she's going to leave, and then she took off and rear-ended the SUV. By the yard I I argue back and forth, right? So, when you when you're out here, you are arguing or inside the house? >> It moved. Okay. So, at what point why did it get physical? What was said to lead up to for it to get physical? He said that he didn't want his family anymore, and I lost it, and I hit him. Well, when when you hit him, like punch him? >> hand, yeah. Or slap him, or what? >> Yeah, it was a it was a slap, like from right here, a slap. Across his face? >> Yeah. Okay. Well, buddy, by the looks of things, that's how the two of you had drove right into the rear end of it. Right? And she backed up and put it in drive and gassed it. Or wherever she could land. Okay. Hit him one time, more than once? I just hit him once, and he was holding me down, and So, okay, after you hit him, then then what he do? Put you on the ground? Yeah. >> Oh, yeah, he had pinned me down. >> what did Did he hit you back, or just holding you down? >> No, he just grabbed my shirt and held me down. And so, she intentionally done that, not just leave, right? I just don't want to get in trouble, cuz in the long run, I'm I'm going to have to pay for everything. Well, this has kind of got out of hand, wouldn't you say? It did. I mean, something's got to give here today. I mean, cuz somebody could have got hurt. I didn't want that. I mean, she's already told me she hit the vehicle. Now, as far as I know, it was accidental. She hit you? I was outside of the vehicle. And you weren't What did you say then? I called you guys. >> That's the sad part. >> you guys. You did? Okay. And they said that you guys was on your way. Yes. And a neighbor or somebody seen some of this, too. >> These guys down out here in the park truck. >> Hey. Yeah. You see what anything going on over here? Neighbor's witness statement. The neighbor said she was inside making breakfast when she noticed a fire burning in the yard. At first, she thought nothing of it. A few minutes later, Jacob arrived in the black SUV and started putting the fire out. Soon after, the couple began arguing, and the situation quickly escalated. She then saw the woman get into the smaller black car, back up, and ram the SUV several times. Jacob tried reaching through the window to stop the car. After getting out, the woman continued attacking him, throwing objects and trying to hit him. Jacob appeared to be defending himself and trying to restrain her. The neighbor said Jacob did not start the violence. She called police when she realized someone could get seriously hurt. Did him clean him, or No, I was I was back by the concrete pad. Well, what what point in time did she hit you? Um she backed up like she was going to leave, and then she put it in drive, and ran in the back of the SUV. I don't know if it was that soon or not. At what point did the vehicle get hit? I wanted to leave, and I Was this when he got like you up? No, this was after all that. Did she hit you, slap you? Uh she she tried a couple times. So, after you'd slapped him or whatever, or was it before? >> him. I went to go leave, and I ran into the I I went to leave before any of this got physical, and I don't know what I was thinking, but I backed up, and I ran into the back of the car. And whenever I did that, I obviously can't drive that car anymore, so I couldn't just go to my mom's. So, did she make contact when she slapped you? I'm not for sure that I don't think so. Like I was able I didn't think about what I did, so I sat here, and me and Jacob started bickering back and forth, and it and one thing led to another. It went from that I hit him, and then he pinned me on the ground. Okay. Buddy, I'm I'm here to help you, and and you're being rude. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to make it hard. So, you was in the SUV. No, I was in the black car. >> So, you was in the black car. But, okay, so how did you go to back up and hit the vehicle? I backed this vehicle up and ran into the back of the SUV. I backed the Saturn up, ran it into the SUV. Okay. So, then it just escalated after that, and that's when the old slapping started after hitting the vehicle. Okay. So, did she hit you? Not that I know of. So, she never used her hand or fist and hit you, just tried to. And did Would you hold her on the ground? >> Yeah, when she picked up a picked up bricks, and and was trying to throw them at the vehicle, I I kept grabbing her arms and holding the bricks down so she wouldn't throw them at the SUV or me or anything. And then I I didn't grab her as gently as I could. I put her on the ground and sat on top of her. Can he go somewhere? Can he go to his dad's or stay the night there? >> She's going to have to come with us tonight. Why? Because she's going to be charged with domestic battery. The officer then walked over to the vehicle and began documenting all of the visible dents and damage caused by the suspect after she rammed it several times during the incident. Once the damage had been photographed and the evidence collected, police moved in to bring the situation to an end, and she was placed under arrest and taken from the scene. I got here. That's what I said. I'm going to find out right now. I'll have it um I'm going to go to work tomorrow and see what's going on. Um that's this. That'd be that. Okay. And juice for Michael. I'm going to pop it. But it's when the wrong one gets the That's what gets me. It just bothers me. What? No, but he's a fireman there and he lives here. No, they passed that. They passed. Yeah. I don't have a clue what they do. They do stuff like that. Oh boy, dirty English, sorry. Okay, you able to get the seat belt off? Oh, seat belt. You just step into it right there.
