Don't touch me. >> You can't touch me. You can't touch me. I dare you to touch me. >> I make 120,000 a year. Get your manager or an attorney. >> You You hit me. >> Airports are stressful [music] enough. Long transportation security administration lines, packed terminals, and chaos everywhere. [music] But throw a few entitled Kairens into the mix and things can spiral out of control fast. These are the moments when powerful [music] airport Karens fight cops and end up in handcuffs. Today we kick things off with [music] a confident woman who thinks her sharp tongue is powerful enough to rewrite the laws of America. >> I do. So >> I don't because you know what? My mouth is greater and I know my rights and I know what the [ __ ] is right. On the 2nd of November 2022, after Delta denied two passengers boarding and rebooked them for the next day, police just needed them out of the airside area. One passenger, however, decided to turn that into a whole battle over her rights. >> But he said, "We got you know what he said?" He said, "We going to run the tapes and we going to see." Wait, she trying to hit me or kick me. So, >> okay. So this is where this is where the supervisor >> Hey guys, but babe babe, >> y'all got to leave. >> Guys, you guys are rebooked for tomorrow. >> I know my rights. Okay, >> so I can't listen to me. >> Hey guys, they're not going to let you fly tonight. >> Yeah, but it doesn't matter. They're not going to let you fly today. >> Why are they not going to let me fly? >> You just I'm going to call the cops. I'm I'll run the tape. >> Hey. Hey. >> What's your name? >> What's your name? >> What's your first name? Jason. >> Jason. >> It doesn't matter what the tape show. They're not going to let you fly tonight. So why he had to say let's listen to me >> why he had to say that and threaten me like hey listen to me listen to us >> we're we're here now you guys are listen you guys it's not about size >> you guys are rebooked for tomorrow but >> but that's not you're not going to make that little I know my right >> I know my right >> this doesn't have anything to do with the end >> of the day yes I do yes I do >> I could call no hang >> you can call and complain if you want to but this has nothing and I'll get a second fight free. >> Shut up, >> guys. Come on. Come to people. >> All right, I'm going to come with you. We're going to go. >> Right away, officers could tell this pair wouldn't be easy to deal with. Rather than turn the terminal into a circus, they gave them one incredibly simple instruction. Leave the airside area. >> Where? >> Hey, you need to leave the airside or you're going to be arrested. >> So, show me the footage. >> How she going to be arrested? Tres. She's at the book. >> So, arrest me. >> Oh, no. Hold on. She's going to get arrested and she has the the boarding the boarding pass. >> You Let's go now. >> The boarding pass. >> Let's go. >> You just put in your pocket. >> So, let me get the boarding pass. >> You're listen. You are trespassed. >> How am I trespassing? I got a ticket. >> Listen to me. >> You put it in your pocket. >> It's for It's for tomorrow. Not now. >> So, how today? >> Let's go. Let's go. >> It's for tomorrow. >> Don't touch me. >> You need to leave her. >> Don't touch me. >> Okay, that's where the female officer. Female officer. >> Don't touch me. Let's go. Leave. >> Can I get the border pass? >> Yes. Leave. >> Goodbye. >> You need to leave. >> You need to leave, too. >> You need to leave, Chad. Look at me right now. Leave. >> Can I get the boarding pass? >> Turn around and we we are going to walk with you and you will get your boarding pass. >> I'll take it now and we'll leave. >> Let's go. >> Thank you. >> For a moment, it looked like they'd finally cooperate and walk out. But only a few steps later, they were right back to arguing about boarding passes, camera footage, and I know my rights. No, you shut up. >> Tomorrow. >> So, what paperwork do I have that my my flight is? >> What paperwork do I have in my yelling? You're going to go to jail. >> So, take me to jail. >> I don't want to do so. >> I don't want to. Stop. >> Because you know what? My mouth is greater and I know my rights and I know what the [ __ ] is right. I didn't do type >> at the end of the day. I really didn't. But right now you are >> you're going to be done [ __ ] up because you started going to stop. >> We didn't start any You're intoxicated. >> No, I'm not into what they said about me and I was going to go into yelling. >> Prove it. >> Stop. Pick up your purse. >> No. [ __ ] the purse. >> Okay. >> We're just trying to get you on your flight tomorrow. >> Yeah. I want my flight today. >> But you don't have one now. >> I do. >> And I COULD PROVE IT THAT I DO. THEY canceled it, ma'am. >> Yeah. Why they cancelled it? For what reason? >> This reason. >> Oh, I was not like this. >> I sat there. >> He was on the phone. >> There was nothing wrong. Nothing. >> The wild part is officers still kept escorting them out instead of immediately making an arrest. But every few steps turned into another argument about the flight, intoxication, and who started the disturbance. >> Get your purse. I've been looking at you the entire time. All right, I'll get my pressur right now, but you need to hear me. >> I hear you. >> There's cameras. There's footage. >> If you want to make a complaint about Delta, you can call their make. Okay, that's fine. >> I got a daughter who's waiting for me tomorrow. >> I just got on the phone with ECS in Brooklyn. >> I can call them right now. >> It doesn't It doesn't change that they canceled your flight, >> right? But why is the reason why they cancelled? They said you were intoxicated. >> Okay. What they said and what it is. >> Well, it appears that you are intoxicated. >> No, I'm not. So, is the camera footage? >> There's no camera footage, man. >> There has to be >> about you being intoxicated. I can tell you're intoxicated. >> You want to pet? >> Yes, I do. >> That's how good. >> I can call right now. >> Pick your stuff up. >> No, I can call right now. >> You need to leave. >> So, where's the camera footage? >> Ma'am, >> where's the camera footage? >> Don't touch me. >> You can't touch me. You can't touch me. I dare you to touch me. Don't make him touch you. Trina, >> don't make him. He can't. >> He can't. >> No. >> She stood there trying to buy herself some time by bringing up her child waiting for her. But the officers weren't buying it, and a final warning was about to be given. >> Exactly. I cry all the time. Arrest me. I don't give a [ __ ] Arrest me. You know why? Cuz I got my right. >> Get off the train. >> Let's go. >> Hold it. >> Go for go. Right. >> Go. Right. >> No one can go. >> Attention. The doors have not closed properly. Leave or you're getting arrested. >> Trespass after warning. Okay. >> You're under arrest. Under arrest. >> How am I under arrest? Put your hand up. Find what you want. Put your hand on your >> There you go. Take that off. You don't need that. You're not going to need that. >> By this point, things were clear. Her demands weren't taking priority, and officers wasted no time putting her in handcuffs. But as she was led away, she suddenly switched into victim mode. >> Three hot sandwich. >> We We tried to get you to leave, man. >> I was leaving. >> No, you weren't. Yes, I was. >> It's on the video. You weren't leaving. You know you're right. [laughter] >> It's not fair. >> How much do you think you drank today? >> I drank [ __ ] three beers on my dead father. On my dead father. I wasn't even supposed to go that far. But I came by him to see his kids >> three too many years. >> I didn't do nothing wrong. >> Yes, you did. >> No, I didn't. >> You've been acting like an animal since I got >> How was I acting like an animal? You >> mouth. >> My mouth. I didn't do nothing wrong. >> Just don't shut up. >> What are you talking about? You see that? >> Nasty. >> Nasty people. >> You know you're being nasty to everybody. >> Sweetheart, leave. If you know what's right, leave. >> I do know what's right. That's why we tried to get you to leave. All right. When I was leaving, they went, "You know what? I [ __ ] up." >> You told me to You told me, "F you." And >> No, I didn't. I never said [ __ ] >> You're not You're not effing leaving. >> I never SAID THAT. OF MY DEAD FATHER AND MY KIDS, I WILL DIE TOMORROW. >> OKAY. They're all >> No, Mike's I think Mike's parked out back. >> Never in my life. >> Under New York law, section 140. 5 covers trespass, including knowingly remaining on property without permission. Section 240.20 covers disorderly conduct, including threatening behavior, unreasonable noise, or conduct that creates public disturbance. In the end, she was arrested for trespassing after warning and disorderly conduct. Now, let's turn our attention to a drunk woman who completely lost control, causing chaos at the airport before demanding to go home like nothing happened. >> Let me go home. Let me go home. >> I WANT TO GO HOME. I WANT TO GO HOME. >> ON the 18th of June 2025, an airport restaurant manager called police because a woman was so intoxicated she could barely stay upright. At first, this was nothing more than a welfare check, but she was about to change that herself. >> How are you? >> Just not as good as I should be. >> Okay. When's your flight? >> When are you >> When are you scheduled to fly out? >> Are you kidding me? No, I'm not kidding you. >> Why would I fly out? >> I don't know. I'm asking. Are you flying out? Are you flying in? >> I live here. >> Okay. So, where's here? >> Uh, I don't know. Situation. >> Huh? >> Situation. >> So, you're at the airport? >> No, I'm at the airport. I'm at >> your card. >> Want to clear out your tab? >> They want you to clear out your tab. >> Fine. Jeez. >> Is that what I do? >> They're getting ready to pour. >> Don't do that. Don't do that then. >> All right. >> Wait. Why am I going like that? That's [ __ ] >> Have a seat. >> Okay. All right. >> Lower seat. >> This really sucks. >> All right. >> That sucks. >> When police approached, the woman was so drunk she didn't even seem to know where she was. Officers recognized how serious the situation was, but still gave her a chance. >> Hello. Listen to me. Where's your ID? Search for your ID. And then I can The thing >> The thing is because you can't you can't stand on your own two feet. So, we're not going to let you walk around. >> Well, obviously you fell over and that's why we have to sit you down. >> Stephanie, would you like me to look for your ID? >> I can't even understand this. This is the worst. Like, why are you even doing this to me? Why are you doing this to me? This is the grossest thing I've ever I've ever experienced. >> Trying to help. >> I'm literally just going trying to go home. >> Okay. >> Why are you doing this to me? >> Because you're not able to stand on your own two feet right now. Of >> course I am. >> No, you weren't. That's why we're here. So, I wouldn't be standing here otherwise. So, therefore, I need your ID. Is it in here? Could you get your ID? And then so you can clear out your your check as well. So there's in here. >> What? What do you want? Like a check here or >> No. So thank you. >> That's your asking for I don't >> She's asking to clear the bill. So that Visa card that's there. >> Yes. >> Okay. If you hand that to her, she'll clear that bill. Now, if you could search for your ID so I can see your ID. >> Go ahead. Yeah. Her story went from not flying anywhere to suddenly flying southwest while officers were just trying to find her ID and get her somewhere safe. Basically, they were solving her problem for her. >> Stephanie, this is this is this is the situation here. Okay. >> What did I do? What did I do wrong? Let him explain. Why are you so mean to me? Why are you doing this? Why are you don't even get it? You don't get it. You don't get it. You don't get it. Why do I get to live like this? >> Okay. >> Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? >> I don't get to live like this. >> I want to GO HOME TO MY KIDS. I HAVE TO GO AND take care of my babies at home. Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this to me? Why are youing doing this to me? >> Why are you doing this to me? >> Because you're intoxicated. >> It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. I just want to go home with my kids. for one such a craziest thing I've ever seen my entire life. >> So they could try to rebook you for tomorrow. >> I have seen my husband fly like a drunk ass wife. >> So I I will call my mom and then >> let's do let's do that now. >> And then but she's sick and she's she's very sick. >> If you would like I can talk to your mom and explain it and then we whatever works best. >> No, I don't want her to she cannot drive. She is. She is. >> Well, then if your mom can't come get you, then what's the point of calling her? >> Then what? >> Then what's the point of calling her if she can't come and get you? >> I I don't want her to come. I I I This is >> Yep. >> Police kept throwing her lifelines. Call family, rebook the flight, get a hotel. Somehow, every solution came with a new reason why it wouldn't work. They were running out of offramps fast. >> I am not going anywhere. >> Okay. Would you like to rebook or do you want to do that later? That's up to you. Let me have the board there. >> I don't have a boarding pass or anything. I just am getting the out of here. >> Okay. >> I literally I uh I'm an artist and so I make art and so that's all I do. >> Okay. I love that. I love that. Yeah. >> No, you don't get one. >> All right. Well, you have a choice. Um, I can leave you sitting here. This is not my property. >> What do you want me to do? >> Uh, you can either rebook if you want to rebook. >> Reook what? >> Your flight. >> I'm not rebooking any flight. I I'm literally just sitting here. I'm just >> She's not on my flight. I don't I don't know what I >> do. This is Stephanie. She's the representative from the airport. You had a flight that you were scheduled to take right in St. Louis and I get to my house. >> All right. You're in Florida. She finally chose to stay at the airport, then went right back to saying she wasn't flying and somehow just wanted to go home. At this point, even the airline staff couldn't keep up. >> You cannot do this. >> Hi, man. My name for the police department. The reason I stopped out with you is because you're an intoxicated female who doesn't know where you are. >> Fantastic. >> You don't know where you are. >> Fantastic. I know where I am. I am at the >> the Southwest. I know where exactly where I am. I am trying to get outside. >> You say you were in St. Louis. You're not in St. I am not in St. Louis, but I'm trying to St. Louis. No, >> all we're doing is having So, you're refusing medical? >> No. No. >> Are you refusing medical? >> I'm refusing all of this. >> Okay. So, now we're back to the same options. One, you're drunk in a place that you no longer have a flight. So, you're going to leave. No, you I just stop this. You no longer have a flight. That's done. >> I can get on my flight. >> No, you're not. I'm telling you right now, you're not getting on this flight. So, you're going to be escorted out of the concourse. You understand? That's it. You're no longer allowed to be in this concourse. I'm informing you you're no longer be in this concourse. Are you going to leave the concourse after as I've informed you? >> The only other option like what you guys are doing. >> The only other option is to be placed under arrest. >> You are so Hold on. >> No, we are going to get up. >> You sat for one. >> You're not in charge here. Get up. >> You're leaving. >> Oh, I'm not allowed to have one second. >> You're trespassing. As of this point in time, I'm informing you you are trespassing. Are you going to exit the concourse? >> On your feet. We're walking out. Let's go. Despite being warned to stay off the property, she clearly wasn't listening. She kept pushing her luck without realizing police patience had already run out. You're >> so Why you were throwing me under? What the is this? >> I gave you your options, ma'am. >> You chose. >> WHY? WHAT DID I DO? You guys are take the wad. He's up. >> Go ahead and have a seat. >> Sit down. >> You're so happy. You're so happy. >> Actually, I'm not very upset. >> No. >> Do you know who Jim Bennett is? >> No. >> He's one of my best friends. You guys are going to get soed up. I can't wait for it. >> You want my other >> better let me out. There's no reason for this. There is no reason for this. There is no reason for it. Why am I still Why am I tied up? I just want to go home. I just want to go home. >> Why can't I go? >> Your behavior is so scared. >> Your behavior is what put you under arrest. >> No, you guys are under arrest. You're going to be soed up when you get Jim Bennett on your case. You You guys know the biggest people and the biggest most best people. >> Being too drunk is one thing, but being high on entitlement is a whole different headache. But the woman here handles both like it's her day job. So naturally, she kept screaming that she quite knows her rights. >> Leave me alone. Leave me alone and let me go home. Let me go home. Let me go home. >> I WANT TO GO [screaming] HOME. I WANT TO GO HOME. I WANT TO GO HOME. I want to go home. I want to go home. Stop it. >> Does she have any personal property? >> Yes. >> No. I have personal properties. I My mom lives here. I live here. Why are you leaving me here? >> I will call my lawyer. >> I said they have witness. >> I will call my lawyer. >> Let's go. >> Nope. I have a lawyer call. >> That's fine. I WANT TO SEE MY DAUGHTER. I WANT TO SEE MY DAUGHTER. CALL MY DAUGHTER. WHY WOULD I GO TO JAIL? >> Cuz you're drunk. That's what >> No, I am not drunk. >> Stop. DON'T KICK ME. >> NO. >> Don't kick me. >> No. >> Do not kick me. That's another charge. >> Ow. Ow. Ow. That hurts my That's my arthritis. No, I am not drunk. I am not drunk. >> You just need me. >> Now you got another charge. >> Well, the misdemeanor is now a felony. STEPHANIE, CONGRATULATIONS. >> WHY are you doing this? >> Stand up. >> Why are you doing this? >> Stand up. When Lauren finally realized that her hottie attitude wouldn't make the officers back down, she decided to demand a lawyer. The thing is, the law doesn't exist solely to serve her. >> Wrong. Wrong. I would dip bandit. I want my lawyer. I want my lawyer. >> Here's your one phone call. >> Thank you. >> No. I want my lawyer. I WANT MY LAWYER. I WANT MY LAWYER. YOU'RE [ __ ] OH. Oh my god. SHE'S IN. >> Under Florida law, section 784.07 covers battery on a law enforcement officer, which can become a thirdderee felony. Section 856.011 covers disorderly intoxication in a public place. And section 810.08 covers trespassing after being warned to leave. Stephanie ultimately faced battery on a law enforcement officer, two assault counts, disorderly intoxication, and trespassing. And all [music] of this started because a restaurant manager was simply worried she wasn't okay. After 13 years of military service, this woman completely lost it when police refused to give her special treatment after she caused chaos at the airport. >> I served the army foring 13 years. You embarrassed the [ __ ] out of me. You let a bomb. >> On the 19th of September 2021, an airline passenger was denied boarding after staff believed she was intoxicated. Then a gate agent accused her of hitting him. Once the police showed up, her resume somehow started getting longer by the minute. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> What's going on? >> Yeah. Um, we need to take her. She hit me. She pushed me. She did everything. I'm going to press charge. So, I want to help her here. >> Okay. >> That's it. So, she's holding scan her security bridge as well and everything. So, >> absolutely. Ma'am, do >> you have a driver's license or an ID? >> Yes, I do. And I have my passport to get in. >> Yo, go ahead. Give me your driver's license. ID. >> You can come over there. I think you have >> the unit coming over. Please. >> No, but don't come in because she she told you listen to ID and driver's license. All right. with a statement. >> Don't judge. That's the problem with cops. I'm a cop myself. That's the problem at cops. We judge one side. So don't judge. >> Listen to me and let me show you. >> She welcomed officers with an attitude that immediately suggested this wouldn't be easy. And the longer she talked, the longer her growing list of rather remarkable claims became. >> But I'm not lying. I'm going to show you everything that you asked. I'm a cop. I'm a veteran. So I'mma show you my paperwork and I'm going to show you she's lying. Don't judge one side, okay? Do not judge. I'm pregnant. I've been here since9 p.m. I missed my flight. The equipment was And I'm going to show you my car. >> Girl didn't like me. >> She had an attitude with me. You know what she told the guy? It's recording cuz I'm going to give you my phone so you can go outside and listen. He goes, "You know what? She'll not get on the phone. It's okay. Leave her. She'll not get a fight." That's abuse of power. >> Two kids officer. This is my kids. Okay. >> Show my new location. >> I even give you my pen. Look. >> Ma'am, >> listen. Hold on. No. No. No. >> Look. My husband who's a sher in the army. I'm a sher myself. He's also a sher in our Kansas. Um, I just came from our Kansas. >> Um, this is my kid. >> This is my kid. I'm going to give you the paperwork. I just want you to know how people and I never see that in my life. I just want you to know how people abuse their power. >> You just grab your No, no. I'm going to give you my paperwork cuz I'm supposed to meet her. You're not going to grab You're not going to fly. Ma'am, >> she started flexing her credentials. Cop, veteran, sheriff, a well-connected husband, and even brought up being pregnant. Impressive resume perhaps, but none of it gave her control of the situation. >> We need to go now. >> All right. But >> if you did not do this, I do not want to put you in handcuff. >> All right. But I paid for it. >> Understood. We'll talk about that driver's license. Let's go. >> So, I just want to have I'm going to go, but I just have one. I'm going to go I just have one question. So, you meant to tell me that it's okay for someone to say, "You know what? I don't want to hurt my flight." Let's go now. Just come with me. Thank you. We can talk over there. Right. >> Thank you. Appreciate you. Appreciate your cooperation. All right. >> Uh, if you just threaten her, I'm going to have to charge you. It's okay. >> I say got you. I say God got you. God. God got you. God got you. >> Keep coming. Keep coming. >> God got you, baby. Don't worry. >> There you go. >> Don't worry. God for one or >> That's okay. I'm okay. And we're going to talk with you, okay? >> Officers were actually trying to walk her away from the gate without putting her in cuffs. And for a minute, she played along. She also squeezed in a $100,000 a year flex priorities. But the police focused only on the evidence exposing her presence there. Um, so yeah, let me see. At what time when she hit me? All right, let's see. >> I cannot I cannot see. >> Did Did you um film it, ma'am? >> Yeah, I just sent it to her. Oh, you sent that to her. Okay. Can you check your phone where she that bad or her or whatever happened? >> I'm trying not to see it on over here, but it's too long. >> So, yeah, her and the mother that go. If you need a 24, let me know and I'll break from here. AMR doesn't have a unit available at this time. I'm going let you know if they have available. >> Let them know you're abusing your power. You're abusing your power. >> Was it after that she hit you or >> I'm trying to listen? >> No, I guess >> I don't even talk to her or anything. I was waiting all the time. The victim showed the police the video she had recorded, capturing the suspect's entire aggressive physical assault. Later, while waiting for the video to be verified, she resorted to stalling tactics again. >> I just It's going to be so funny to see them still left right there with the minimum jobs there. >> And I make over 100k a year. So, it's okay. It's okay. I can pee right there. I got I got to pee and pee. >> You got to pee? >> Yeah. So get your manager to sit right here and tell me you don't mind. You need to get over here. I'm giving you love of command. >> It's okay. You >> failure. Listen, it's a failure to comply. >> It's going to be charging with transisting. >> Do you understand what I'm saying? >> I'm pregnant. I'm not miscarriage. >> And I can't this. >> OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. I'M IN PAIN. >> Oh my god. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. I'ming licking. I'm licking. I'm licking. I'm licking. >> The woman didn't take the news well. Instead of leaving quietly like any sane person would have, she decided to test the officer's patience and not in a funny tick talk prank kind of way. >> You know what she did? She did just that and you vote for it. You vote for it. Do you feel stupid? Do you feeling stupid inside any type of wheel? Oh [ __ ] how how she just sit there and manipulated the system. She continued accusing officers of attacking them while defending the man she said she'd been with for 24 years. >> I didn't see anybody punching him in the face. I'm not saying what happened before your husband cuz like I said, like I tried telling you before, I was across the hall dealing with something else. So when then everybody starts yelling, then I turn around and divert my attention away from what I was initially dealing with to see what's going on. I did not see anybody punch your husband, just like I did not choke you out like you said I did. >> Well, who choke me? Somebody grabbed me by my neck. >> I did not push me down. >> So who did it? >> I don't know. >> Now nobody's I'm I'm glad this camera's in here, though. We cannot do anything about crappy customer service. And I'm not saying it's right by any means, but there's not just >> But then to go through all of that, to see her get beat up. Like that's too much. That is too much. [snorts] That I've been with him for 24 years. I've never seen him be in trouble. He is not a bad guy. >> I don't think you guys are bad guys. And then for that man to lie and say he was assaulted. You're this big. You're big as my pinky. My husband is a big guy. If my husband insulted him, >> don't you think he would have still been standing there? >> Why are you lying? That's what frustrated me. I'm like, DUDE, YOU'RE LYING. WHY ARE YOU FREAKING LYING? CUZ YOU'RE mad about Earl. >> The witness described the husband as the instigator and recalled multiple officers struggling to control him. More importantly, she had video capturing part of the confrontation for officers to review. Hi, Maryanne. Nice to meet you. Thank you. Can you tell me what happened? >> So, I was the next person in line and I was on the same canceled Cleveland flight, which is what all the very upset people were on. They were being told that they couldn't necessarily get a refund or whatever. So, there was a lot of yelling and the first thing that I saw him do is I don't know which officer, but he went first and put one of the officers in a headlock. They brought him down. Took two or three officers to bring him down. I'm not sure what happened with his wife or partner. You could kind of see when his ankle or foot just by them having to I mean he was very fit, very big, very upset. So he definitely was the instigator. It was pretty scary. >> You said you had video. >> I did take a video. >> Can I just go one more time? Start again so I can see it. >> Good. Mhm. Oh my god. No. No. No. No. >> It'll get cleared up in a second. >> The suspect has been charged with resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, conspiracy to murder a police officer, [music] and disturbing the public peace. If stubbornness came with an award, this Delta passenger would be a shoein for the grand prize after turning a flight delay into a full-blown scene. >> Let me go. I'm getting ready. Get out. Let me go. Let me go. >> On the 19th of March 2024, a Delta passenger was accused of causing a disturbance, cursing at another passenger, and making threats. The airline wanted her off the plane, but apparently she decided the whole flight could wait on her. remember all this stuff that's been going on. You're the right person for it. [laughter] >> I literally just left a lady. >> Let me tell you what's going on. So, she basically was having a I guess she was having a a disturbance on board. I'm guessing she was cursing at the person that was next to her calling her X and Y and Z. Um being disrespectful to people. People have been hearing it and she was trying to threaten the girl. So now, >> you know, the crew and everybody else do not want her on board. Does not feel comfortable. She she ain't coming off. She She rather we delay the entire aircraft >> then come off. I tell her that the police officer might arrest her. >> Tell her put her on the no fly list. That ain't working. She ain't trying to hear nothing. >> How far back is she? >> 34 seat. >> That's way back there. >> And she alone. So like I I sat next to her and had a conversation with her. >> She still ain't trying to come. >> She ain't trying to come up. So uh you might have to go on the plane. >> Yeah. And then um and then you plbody off the seat or if she comes off with everybody then we put her to the side. >> You know who she is. You got her information. >> After airline staff briefed the officer. He knew this was going to be a long night. He rushed on board to confront the heavily intoxicated Karen. And it didn't take long for things to turn ugly. So we do So I do need to take her up here period >> instead of just taking her on out and she can figure it out once we have >> we can do that. >> It's whatever you do to take off. If you want to take off >> that's that's what I'm saying. >> That's fine. >> Okay. >> If you guys want to try to >> No, >> you don't want >> We don't go on planes. >> You don't want >> No. Remember >> we all going to reboard, right? >> I mean, is it Let me ask you a question. So, I mean, is it one of them situations where you can just keep everybody here or y'all just want them to go all the way out? >> Um, >> yeah, but that's a lot of people to keep right here. >> All right. We'll just take them on out there. Well, once she's exited, we just going to take out. >> Take off. Yeah. >> So, y'all don't need to talk to her or nothing. No, we going we going to >> just take her out. Okay. >> We're going to do all everything that we got. >> Perfect. >> All right. >> She being refunded or just what? >> Yeah, we going to refund real quick. >> Okay. She know. Okay. All right. >> Staff said they'd already tried talking to her, but she wouldn't budge, even if it meant delaying the whole aircraft. Eventually, the other passengers had to come off, leaving her as the only person still sitting on the plane. >> Oh, no. We're all having candy outside. Come on. Come on out. >> Candy. >> Come on out, young lady. >> Come on, ma'am. >> First of all, no. I want to know my niece and my cousin. >> Uh-huh. >> Come on, ma'am. >> All right. >> Why am I getting on the plane? >> Because they told you to. >> Cuz why? >> Because you don't own the plane. Come on out. >> That to you. >> You're about to spend a night in jail if you don't come off. >> Okay. Well, let me do that. >> Is that what you want to do? >> Hey, let's do it. >> Let's do it. Let's go. >> Okay. No, but I'm not getting off. >> Either you're going to get off by choice or by force. >> Okay. No, but I'm not getting off. Either you're going to get off by choice or by choice. >> Yes. >> Okay, let's do it. >> You ready? >> Yeah. You >> Come on, ma'am. >> Nah. Uhuh. Let's force this. Let's do it. >> Come on. You can't fly on this. >> Oh. Oh, really? That's They refunded my ticket >> and you're going to be on the no you're probably going to be on no fly list. >> Officers gave her a pretty simple choice. walk off the plane or go to jail. Her answer was basically, "Let's do it." And she still wouldn't leave. Yeah, that's one way to pick the harder option. >> Why am I being escorted off this plane? >> Because they told you to get off the plane. >> Why? >> Because they own the aircraft and you don't. >> I don't have no gun. >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> All right. I was in her. >> But you got to come off the plane. >> You got to come off the plane. Let's go. Hey, go ahead. Uh, get her bag and stuff. Is that her bag? That's her bag. You have No, I don't. >> Man, you're about to get arrested. >> Okay. Well, do that now. Give me my bag. I'm not >> Those stalling tactics had officially run their course. After repeatedly testing the officer's patience, she finally managed to turn all those warnings about an arrest into the real thing. >> Come on, ma'am. That way. >> No, I'm going this way. No, you're not. >> I'm going out that way. >> No, you're not. >> Yes, I am. >> You are denied boarding. Okay. Meaning you're a noned passenger. You're a non passenger. You got to go to jail. So, we don't always like We don't like our current sheriff all the time. >> I'm sure you've seen Dutton. And I'm not threatening you of any of that. >> I just love uh Kevin Kaer's new show. It's pretty bad. [laughter] >> But that's it. That's all I have to say. >> He kept trying No, no, he's here from Missouri. He kept trying to go the wrong way of TSA and that's what caught my eye. And then the TSA guy walked down here cuz he said he forgot the uh >> um something on the plane. So the lady's actually down there looking on the plane right now. >> Mike. Mike. >> Okay. Okay. >> This is This is Gary. >> Gary, >> what's up, brother? How you doing? >> It's very nice to meet you, brother. >> All right. Just give us a second. We're going to get your stuff. >> Don't you want your backpack? You want to go look? >> Yeah. I'm >> right there with you. There you go. >> Are you there? >> He got somebody coming to pick him up. >> Uh, an Uber. >> So, I just want to make sure we talk. >> You here to visit somebody in Tampa? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Just my brother. I've never been down here before. That sounds good, man. Good. >> He was even casually chatting with officers about Tampa and Busushch Gardens. They knew he was heavily intoxicated, but the plan was still just grab the luggage and send him on his way. Pretty good deal, honestly. >> Actually, what happened to all my baggage and stuff? >> It It'll be here. >> Where's your baggage? >> It's going to be over here. >> That's where we're going. You really think you're not going to scramble through things 2 hours >> because I didn't do anything wrong? >> Yeah. >> You're good, >> Clayton. Come on. >> We're going to miss We're going to miss the train. >> Nope. >> Clayton, this is going to go south really fast. Get your ass on that train right now. >> You saw meary. >> I'm refusing. I'm refusing. >> Okay. >> Hey, man. >> We're trying to get you to your stuff. >> Your stuff's going to disappear. Your cigarettes are going to disappear. I don't care. >> It's all over here. >> No, I didn't do anything wrong. >> Nobody said you did. It's over here. >> I didn't do anything. Leave me alone. Let me go on my flight. Leave me alone. >> You already went on your flight. >> Call my bro. >> No. Call him. We're trying to help you. You understand that? >> We just got a 911 call. >> Oh, now all of a sudden you're being nice. >> I wasn't mean to you. Who's being mean to you? >> I didn't say you were. >> No, we're trying to help you, man. your all your stuff, all your stuff, your your luggage and everything is over here. That's where we're trying to get you over there to get your stuff so you can have your cigarette. >> Then they reached the train and Clayton suddenly hit them with a nope and refused to move even though that train was literally taking him to his bags. Somehow getting helped had become the problem. >> I'm staying down. >> You You hit me. [ __ ] you. Help me. Help me. >> That's all right. We got it. We got it. We got slide over. Help me. Help me. Please. Gary. >> Clay. You know I'M NOT A VIOLENT PERSON. CL. These people are dirty officers and they're going to kill me. Please God, help me. [screaming] >> MAN, I thought they were lying, but they're >> We're trying to help you this whole time >> and you're acting crazy. >> Slide over. >> Put your hand behind your back now. >> NOW. PUT IT BEHIND YOUR back now. Enough. All of this for nothing. You know, all of this you were here to help you and and >> you turned this into a nightmare. >> You know that the doors are closing. Please wait for the next train. >> And the resistance still wasn't over. During transport, officers had to warn him to stop kicking. One of them summed it up perfectly afterward. Everything was fine and then it just went south quick. Okay, you guys wouldn't have to hurt me. >> Come here. >> You don't have to hurt me anymore. >> Nobody's hurting you. Nobody's hurting you. >> You drugg me up after a [ __ ] thing. >> When I flip you, you lay flat here. >> How about I just get >> lay flat. You're not getting away with this. >> Relax. >> Relax. Get him. Get away. >> Get up. >> Are Gary? I'm on his legs. >> He's on his legs. >> He can let you get off his legs. >> You sure? >> Yeah. >> I'm so dizzy. >> That's my blood. Me dizzy. >> I lost. This is why I had to call on the phone. >> Stay up. I don't know where the battery went. >> Oh, it's still on my belt. That's what happened. It came apart. >> Whose phone? >> His >> one second he looked like the victim. The next he was back to getting aggressive. >> Do you want to take him down the escalator from the elevator in a car? >> Yeah. >> 26. Come us in the uh corn. >> Don't strip nothing on me. >> Gary, I got this one. Walk this way. Gary, walk. Get up. Get up. I'm going to bring it. Get up. >> Gary, I'll hold him up. You >> understand me? >> Gary. Gary, I'll hold him up. >> Walk. >> Walk. >> Sorry. If you grab his shoes, I got this. >> No more games, buddy. He was subsequently charged with assaulting a police officer and disturbing the public order due to intoxication. Last but not least, police catch a woman abusing the airport's internal communication system, and the consequences are far FROM PLEASANT. >> I'M NOT I'm not doing anything. I'm not resisting. >> Yes, you are. On the 2nd of November, 2024, an intoxicated woman was caught making announcements over the airport intercom and pulling on doors to secure areas. When officers showed up, she somehow still thought that trip to Africa was happening. >> 497. Are you traveling by yourself? >> Yeah, we're on. >> I don't know what that means. >> Are you traveling with anybody? Put your phone down. >> Nope, I'm not putting my phone down. >> Okay, you're under arrest. >> No. >> Oh my god. Stop. >> You're under arrest. >> Stop it. >> Put your bag down. >> No. Stop. No. >> Put your phone. >> Put your phone down. >> Gabrielle, >> put your phone down. >> Gabrielle. Gabrielle, they're trying to arrest me. >> [ __ ] >> THEY'RE TRYING TO ARREST ME right now. >> I'm telling you. >> I'm not I'm not doing anything. I'm not resisting. >> Yes, you are. >> Okay. Are they resisting? >> Exactly. >> Ma'am, you're under arrest. >> FOR WHAT? >> Public intoxication. >> Responding unit. The officer simply told her to put the phone down. She refused, got arrested, then immediately insisted she wasn't resisting. Yeah. The body cam was telling a slightly different story. >> So silly. Good girl, honey. >> What did you just put on me? What did you just put on me? WHAT DID YOU JUST PUT ON ME? HONEY, OFFICER, >> y'all are so What in the world? So stupid. >> Hey, I know you hear me. Hey, >> you have your custody. Please pick up the phone so I can ask you what is going on for her safety. >> I y'all seriously like I have all of her paperwork. I have everything I need to show you. Like like I I'm I've not done a I'm not in any uh uh offense. Hans. H. Yep. Hunts. Yep. Can you hang up the phone? >> No. No, you're not hanging up that phone. That's my sister. You're not hanging up that phone. >> No. >> You look like a little >> You're not hanging up that phone. That's my sister. >> It was safe to say that Karen was having trouble coming to terms with the consequences of her know-it-all attitude. But it was no use to play the victim card. Now, >> your identification. >> Well, you everything's there. Huh? Why? Don't you touch her. Don't touch her. >> She ain't going to She's not going to jail with you. So, >> she bites you. >> I'm not going to jail. >> You sure are, ma'am. >> For what? >> Because you're intoxicated and you're out here. >> Okay. Well, you're going to jail. >> No, I need to call my attorney right now. >> Turn on the door, bro. Uh, >> you don't get that right now. >> I'm not under arrest. >> What am I under arrest for? >> Public intoxication. You were making page when I walked up here. >> You've been pulling on the jet bridge doors. I had you on camera doing it. So, >> wait, what? >> You're going to jail. >> Wait, hold on. Say it again. >> You're going to jail? >> No, before that intoxication. going to jail for >> for wait public intoxication disorderly conduct. >> After all these years, it seems cooperation with the law was never part of her vocabulary. And her continued defiance was only making one thing clear. The road ahead was leading straight to jail. Are you comfortable? >> I don't know what you mean by cooperate. >> I'm sorry. >> I don't know what you mean by cooperate. Like >> you will walk home and go chair and get you off the floor for a minute. >> Does that sound like a better idea than sitting on the floor to you? So I am >> going to Africa. >> She going to Africa. >> Not right now. >> Not today. >> Go ahead and stand up. Stand up. You already >> That's not what we're doing. You don't get and open. >> Stop. >> Okay. Okay. >> Just have a seat in the chair. >> Take a seat in the chair. >> No. Stop. >> There you go. >> Wow. >> Yeah. I'm trying to slip it off. I need >> Do I need to go tighter for you? >> No. I need you to take it off for a second so I can >> Officers even gave her a chance to get off the floor and sit in a chair. Gabrielle, meanwhile, was still talking about getting on her plane. Well, not anymore. >> So, she was the last person. Everybody got on board. We made a final page. No reaction from she was playing around with her dog here. >> Yeah. Um, then she p her name personally. She I didn't I don't know if she heard the name or not, but she didn't react to it. She comes over here with the dog and we're like, "Oh, come on. You're the last person." And as she's approaching us, I can feel sense like. And that's when I asked my leave. I'm like, "Hey, you see red light, yellow light." She was more on a yellow because no aggressiveness, nothing. And I asked for a boarding pass for 10 minutes. She was just to her bag. So in that process, she going to show me the paperwork for the she gave me her passport, gave me her credit card, everything. but could not produce uh um produce the morning pass. I asked her, I'm like, "Do you have anything to drink?" She says, "No." Uh I just my gut was telling me no. >> Seems like you did the right thing. >> She she her sister called her in the process. So at that point, I manually boarded her onto the plane. I was like, "Okay, so let's see how >> you tried to give her a shot." >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> And then when her sister was like, "Hey, are you at the right place cuz you could get lost? You were lost. Are you sure make sure where you going?" And she said she was going to Ghana. I'm like, God, >> where's that flight going? This is going to She was incoherent. Didn't know what she was thinking. At that point, at that moment, I was like, "No." And I closed the door. >> Airline staff said they'd actually tried to get her boarded, but she couldn't produce a boarding pass and thought the flight was going to Ghana. That's about when that trip was officially cooked. >> Okay. No. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. No, no, no. >> Yo, I'm leaving for Africa. Not right now. Tomorrow at least. >> Okay. >> Maybe later. >> And you want you want the dog to be able to go with you, right? >> She is going with me. I have all of her paperwork and everything. >> Then do your best to keep the dog calm. >> She's not. >> She can't go to jail with you. So, she's going to go with us. >> I'M NOT GOING TO JAIL. >> You are going to jail. >> You are. You are going to jail. We explained that to you. >> What? What? >> Hold on just a second and let me tell you something. I promise. >> You want the the dog has to go with us. God. Hey, >> stop yelling on your dog. Stop yelling. >> Oh my god, y'all. This is so up. >> Listen to me. Stop yelling. >> No, I need my attorney. The dog. You're not calling your attorney. Yes, I am. >> I already told you you're not calling your >> You're really not. >> Yes. >> You're really not. >> Oh my god. Yo, so [ __ ] up. >> Stop. Stop. >> You're drunk. You're making >> in the airport. All right, we're good. Good. She was charged with drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer. The case remained pending with no conviction one international trip that, safe to say, never made it past county jail. We'll start with the delusional sovereign citizen who turned a routine arrest into a pointless fight with police. >> Shut. Okay, I'M NOT GOING TO >> GET OUT OF THE CAR RIGHT NOW. >> LET ME GO. I will step out. On April 24th, 2026, an officer stopped a rental car after seeing it fail to maintain its lane several times. At first, this was not a major traffic stop, but once he asked for the driver's documents, the conversation quickly moved in a different direction. And here's what happened next. Stopping you from failing to maintain your lane. You cross over that right line multiple times on my dashboard camera. Not a big deal. I'm not a big ticket writer or anything, but if you got your license, registration, insurance with you. This is my >> Yeah, absolutely. >> This is a rental car for purchase rental. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Have you got like a copy of the rental agreement or something? >> I want to uh explain to you that I'm not black, neo, colored, or africaname. I am the American Indian. My name is Elhazi, also known as Dur Johnson. So, I'm in the mess of traveling, not driving. So, may I reach in my pocket here? >> 68. >> Sure. I'll take I'll take your ID. Absolutely. Um, I was going to get something to eat. Me and my fiance was in the hotel that y'all just followed us from, so I was trying to go get something. >> From the beginning, the driver did not respond like someone dealing with a routine stop. He identified himself as an American Indian, said he was traveling rather than driving, and began explaining why he believed the normal rules did not apply to him. But while he was talking, the officer noticed something else inside the vehicle. >> Yeah. >> Why you got that between your legs? >> Because it's my property. is where I carry my ID or my information in. >> And where's that where's that PL what's that plastic bag inside of there? It looks like you got something in there. No, in the in the open pocket right there. >> Um, this is my medication. >> Your medication? >> Yes. >> Okay. What's that? Just marijuana? >> Yes. >> All right. >> Can I ask why are you so suspicious because traffic stop? So, that bag between your legs and the fact that you were all over the road when I was behind you tells me that you were messing around with this bag. >> I have I have uh lane control on this right here. So, it would say if I was crossing the road, I have lane control right here. So, if I was swerving the road, um it would show up on these parts right here. >> Why Why is that bag right between your legs though? Because I just came out the hotel with my female going to get something to eat and I put the leg the bag in besides my leg. Is there a crime because the bag is between my legs? >> Okay. Just out of heightened caution, just for our safety cuz I think that you've been moving stuff around with that bag. I'm going to have you step out of the car for me. Okay. >> Oh, no. Call your uh superior office. >> So, just because you want one this I'm going to give you one more chance and I will caller as a sheriff. Call the judge or the sheriff. Hey, real quick because I don't want this to escalate. I don't I don't I know it's my right that I don't have to step out the car on a motor vehicle because my because my bag that owns my property is between my legs. That is not a crime. >> The officer focused on a bag sitting between the driver's legs, especially after noticing what appeared to be marijuana inside it. Because of the driver's movements and the way the bag was positioned, the officer decided to remove him from the car for safety reasons. The driver, however, saw it very differently and began challenging the order. >> Pennsylvania vers Mims that says that anywhere in the United States of America, all 50 states and Puerto Rico, if an officer on a traffic stop tells the driver, which you are the driver, >> um, but I'm not one of your citizens. That's only for your citizen. >> No, that is for any driver. >> No, I'm not driving. I'm traveling. >> Okay. Okay. >> A driver a driver is someone who's commerce who's moving >> something for a profit or >> just just to verify you are you are refusing to step out of the vehicle. >> Um yes I need you to call your superior office. >> So ju again just because you do that that there's no policy that says I have to do so. >> Um >> now I'm trying >> I'm asking for you to call the judge. >> The judge >> so the judge can call the sheriff. The sheriff. I don't work for the sheriff. The sheriff. The sheriff. >> The sheriff is above you. >> He's not. He's a separate entity. >> The sheriff is above you. I am a part of the American Indian. I am a You have my identification. Call the sheriff so the sheriff can take care of this matter, please. >> Okay. >> Or call your superior officer. >> I'm going to call him out way. But now that you've said no, if you refuse to step out of the vehicle, you will be arrested for obstruction. >> Why? I haven't committed a crime and I'm not one of your citizens. So, Bobby, >> but I'm not one of your citizens. >> I am not one of your citizens for you to place me under arrest. I have not committed no crime under any. >> Even after the officer explained that a driver can be ordered out of a vehicle during a traffic stop, the man continued insisting he was not one of their citizens and that he was only traveling. He then asked for a supervisor, the sheriff, and even a judge. But none of that changed the lawful order he had already been given. >> I have a right to say I don't want to exit a vehicle. >> I get why you might not want to, but it's not a question. It's an order. It's a lawful order for you to exit the vehicle. >> I'm not one of the >> I don't want to rip you out of the car. >> Please don't rip me out of the car because I don't want to call internal affairs to sue you or you. >> You're more than welcome to sue me. Now, I've called my supervisor. >> Yes. Well, can we let you not obligated to come out. But at this point now, because you have repeatedly refused to step out of the car, >> right? You are now under arrest for obstruction. >> Have I haven't committed no crime? >> And you need to step out of the car right now. I >> haven't committed no crime. >> You're going to step out of the car right now. >> Hold on. Give me Give me a minute. Give me a minute. Let me call Let me call my Indian chief. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Let me call. Because you can't just I mean, you're you're you're breaking the laws of opening the door. Nope. >> So, hold up. Hold up. Let me call my house. Just safety. You on the outside of the car. >> Step out of the car, sir. >> Wait a minute. Step out of the car. >> Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. >> Don't stop reaching. Stop reaching around the vehicle. >> Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Get out. Get out. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Let me get out. I I would come out. I would come out. I would come out. >> Get out of the car. Get out of the car. DO IT NOW. GET OUT OF THE CAR. DO IT NOW. >> COME OUT. EXCUSE ME. I will come out. Let me come out. I will come out. >> Step out of the car. Do it now. I'm not asking. I'm telling you. >> I will come out. Excuse me. As a man. As a man. As a man. I will come out as a man. As men. >> Can I talk to you as a man first? >> Cuz we talk as men. >> You don't have to grab me. I'm going step out. Step out. >> I'm not going to keep doing this with you. >> Please don't do this. >> Get out of the [ __ ] car. >> Step out the car. >> I'm going to rip you out of this car. You step out now. >> Let me step out. Step out. Move your leg. Step out. Let me step out. >> Get out of the car. >> Please let me go. Treat me like a man. >> I may not citizen. >> I'm not one of >> Officer Robin handled the situation with extreme professionalism and composure. When the suspect brought up the law to argue, he immediately laid his cards on the table by citing a supreme case law, but forgot the most basic law. Once a police officer has ordered you to step out, any refusal or delay immediately constitutes the crime of obstruction of justice. The suspect faces charges of resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, all the way back. Please let me step out the car. >> Stop it. >> Please let me step. >> Get out of the car, man. >> Let me step out the car. Let me step out the car. >> You know this [ __ ] >> I mean, come on. Don't act like gentlemen. Get out of car, dude. Tell my Indian chief to explain what is going on here that I'm being harassed by officers. Wait a minute. >> Stop it. >> I'm not going to resist. I'm not >> Get this hand out. >> Come on. You >> Come on, man. Don't try to break my arm. >> You trying to break I'm Let me out, man. I'm If they won't break me, I will get out. He won't respect. Let me out. >> Get out. >> Let me out. That was [ __ ] man. >> That was so stupid. >> I asked y'all to let >> you know how much how much paperwork I got to do. >> Off my wrist, please. >> Absolutely not. >> Okay, let me get you. I want to talk to Turtle. >> My wrist. My wrist. My wrist. Wait a minute. My wrist. My wrist. My wrist. My >> wrist. Not that you got this. Ah, you're hurting my wrist. >> I It's It's reversed, sir. >> You can pull my pants up a little bit cuz they're going to fall down in the back. >> Is that better? >> What? >> The wrist? >> A little bit on the wrist? >> No, I can't. They're not. Their cuffs are not made to be comfortable. >> Hang on one second for me. Take these off. >> Can you Did you just You got me in here. Did you just adjust it a little bit? >> The cuffs. No. >> All right. I'm go. May I ask what's your name? Officer. >> Officer Robin. That's number 268 with Lawrence Police Department. >> I ask you what's your name? >> I'm the American Indian. >> Move your foot in. >> Put move this foot in, please. >> Thank you. >> The suspect faces charges of resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, battery on an officer, and reckless driving. Before we get to the next sovereign citizen, let's see how police dealt with a drunk woman who couldn't stop laughing after causing a crash. >> You're still what? >> I'm still your boss. >> You're definitely not my boss. >> I bet you I am. >> On November 13th, 2024, officers arrived after Sarah's vehicle crashed through a yard and struck several objects near the roadway. At first, they checked whether she was injured, but her condition quickly made the crash investigation more concerning. Hi. >> Um, go ahead and pay GMS. I don't believe she's injured, but we'll need an evaluation. >> I'm sorry, >> Sarah. Right. Sarah, >> I have a >> You sounds like you might have crashed into a couple of things. You're kind of just in a somebody's yard right now. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Are you injured at all? >> No. >> No. >> Where were you coming from? My work. >> You were coming from work. >> Yeah. >> Where do you work at? >> Splash. >> Splash. >> Yeah. >> What's Splash? I'm not familiar with that. >> Okay. >> Where is Splash at? >> 35? >> Like Splash Zone? >> No, like Splash. >> Okay. >> As officers looked over the damage, they learned Sarah had struck light poles, a utility box, and possibly more before stopping in the yard. She admitted she had been drinking a lot, but her casual reaction only raised more questions. >> Hey, what? >> You're unpacking. >> Looks like she also hit some underground cable utility box. So, Sarah, you said you're not injured. >> You're what? >> A little. >> What's What's injured on you? >> My left shoulder. >> Left shoulder. That's it. Uh, left Vivia. [snorts] >> Flat tire. Sunress out. >> Yeah. >> So, I don't know if one of the poles landed on the roof. >> I think she hit the pole and it landed on top cuz her windshield's cracked. >> Sarah, how much have you had to drink tonight? >> A lot. >> Okay. What What have you been drinking? >> Everything. >> Everything. Okay. >> Well, I have an ambulance coming to check you out. Okay. >> Okay. All right. >> But I'm still La. >> You're still what? >> I'm still your boss. >> You're definitely not my boss. >> I bet you I am. >> So, here's what's going to happen. Okay. >> Oh, what's going to happen? >> Ambulance is going to come check you out, okay? >> And then we're going to >> And I'm still laughing. >> We're We're We're going to deal with the situation, okay? Cuz you you struck some poles downtown. >> Super good. >> Okay. All right. I could see you're taking this situation very seriously. Okay. >> Super. >> You understand? You could have hit somebody. >> No, >> you don't understand that at all. You drove up on a sidewalk and you hit some some light poles down. You understand that there have been people there >> for me right now? I'm not going to leave. >> Okay. Are you on parole probation or anything? >> No. >> Okay. Do you have any open cases? >> Nope. >> Okay. When the officer asked her if she knew what had just happened, Sarah's cognitive filters were completely numbed by alcohol. Then another officer approached, trying to maintain a calm demeanor while speaking with her. >> Let's just keep the door open here. They just checked out. They're going to head out of here. Any questions for them at all? >> Why the [ __ ] >> Okay, you guys are good to go. >> Would you like us to take you to the hospital? Do you feel like you need to get checked out by a doctor? Do you feel I need to be checked out by a doctor? >> That's up to you. It's >> a yes or a no. >> No. >> All right. >> Who's the ambulance guy? >> Well, he's leaving now. So >> So we know each other, right? >> I don't think I know you now. So Sarah said you were coming from Splat. >> But you don't know me. >> I know your name. Sarah. Am I supposed to know you? >> Absolutely [ __ ] not. If he know my first name. >> Well, I do know your first name. Yeah. So, you're coming from Splash off Highway 35. >> What? >> Okay. Did you stop any other place tonight? >> No. >> Coming from Splash Work. >> I'm home. >> I'm going back to work and I'm heading back to work. >> Okay. You're going to work right now? >> Yeah. >> So, you told the other officer you had some alcohol to drink tonight. I'm going to >> problem with that officer. >> Well, I'm just asking you questions, trying to get a better understanding of what happened. So, we both went to school together. So, we're not >> So, how much alcohol work them? >> How much alcohol have you had tonight? >> My employees. >> Okay. >> Yeah, I'm the bad one. >> How many alcoholic drinks would you say you had tonight? >> Seven. >> Seven. Okay. And what were those drinks? Were they beer, mixed drinks, wine? >> Really? I'm not with you. You're not with me. Do you want to geek at it? Sarah eventually said she had seven drinks, but the field sobriety process quickly became confusing. She said she was not refusing, then refused each instruction in another way, leaving officers with little choice but to continue the investigation. >> Stand up for me. Can you do that for me, please? Can you step out of the vehicle? >> Yes. >> Okay. Take a couple steps over here. Just stand right there for me, please. Okay. So, I want to do a couple tests here. Are you willing to do those tests for me? >> No. >> Can I explain the test? >> No. >> Okay. Are you refusing to do standardized field sobriety tests? >> Absolutely not. >> You're not refusing. >> No. >> So then are you willing to do this the tests? >> Do you want to absolute my test? >> Sarah, the questions you're asking me don't make sense. >> They don't make sense to me either. >> Sarah, are you willing to do the test for me if I give you the instructions? >> No. >> So, are you refusing to do the test? >> No. >> So, in total, >> stop. >> I advise you to stop. Your answers are contradicting. >> Your answers are contradicting, too. >> Here's what I'm going to do. Sarah, >> stop. I advise you to stop. >> So, Sarah, >> stop. Stop. >> Stop. What? >> Stop. >> I'm asking you not to. >> If you don't want to do the test, then you don't have to. >> I can do them, but I'm asking you not to. I'm not refusing you, but I got brain by a lot. I have PST to my head injury, my neck, and my back. So, the first test is a test of your eyes. Hey, Sarah. Sarah, please go over there. >> Hey, >> Sarah. Sarah, please go over there.
