On October 22nd, 2023, a Uklid police officer spotted a stolen vehicle during routine patrol. The driver pulled into a Speedway gas station. But something didn't feel right. Even with officers on scene, the suspect refused to shut off the engine. And the moment backup arrived, he made his move. He fled from officers and the chase was on. >> Turn off the car. Do it now. Turn off the car. Turn off the car. Do it now. Put it in park. >> Put the car in park. Stop. Stop the car. >> Stop the car. Got to go. >> Stop the car. As the suspect sped out of the gas station, he quickly put distance between himself and the officers, still scrambling to get back into their patrol cars. Another Uklid officer further down the road spotted the vehicle and immediately took over the pursuit. Wester. 550 [Applause] west 189 out. [Music] >> As the chase progressed, the danger escalated by the second. The suspect weaved recklessly through traffic, pushing the limits at every turn. Officers moved in, tightening the circle and cutting off escape routes. A near perfect setup to box him in. But the suspect wasn't ready to give up. He was all in, doing whatever it took to break free, no matter the risk. middle. [Music] Send your mother up. I don't know. Now you going to be back. Eventually, the chase came to an end and all three occupants were taken into custody without further incident. The driver now faces multiple charges, including felony assault, three counts of failure to comply, possessing a weapon while under disability, and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. It started with a stolen car at a gas station and ended with a stack of felony charges and one more failed escape in the books. On November 20th, 2024, just before noon, a trooper noticed a white Nissan on US Highway 63 with what looked like expired tags. But the second he turned around to check, the Nissan took off, hitting over 85 mph and climbing fast. That's when the pursuit began. [Music] [Music] Turn left on road. [Music] No, Highway 35 28 King Mary. >> The suspect veered off onto Harmony Church Road, flying through a 25 mph zone at nearly four times the speed limit. [Applause] A successful TVI sent the vehicle into a ditch, then back across the road until it finally smashed into a tree. The driver jumped out and ran into the woods, vanishing before backup arrived, but he left his phone behind. The phone was matched to the suspect with help from the vehicle's former owner, revealing the driver as Michael Kaitton Price, a former deputy. 2 days later, officers tracked him to a home in Cleveland County. As they approached, he ran again, disappearing into the woods a second time. Now, Price faces a long list of charges. Felony fleeing, criminal mischief, reckless driving, fleeing on foot, and more. The property damage alone is in the thousands. But it's the getaway that keeps racking up the cost. He may have slipped away twice, but his name, phone, and face are already in the system, and it's only a matter of time. On May 29th, 2024, a deputy with the St. John's County Sheriff's Office pulled over a white Ford F-150 in Jacksonville. The female driver was calm at first until she learned she had an active warrant out of Citrus County. What happened next turned a simple warrant stop into a full-blown pursuit. >> So, it seems that you got a warrant out of Citrus County >> 62. Okay. >> You're not allowed to stop me. >> I am because you you match the description of a wanted fugitive. Okay. >> Okay. Well, I'm not wanted and I have access. All right. You bring your car and come up here and pin this back. >> Now, don't you drive off. Don't you do it. Don't you do it. She shook her head, then floored it, taking off with the deputy still at her door. Deputies launched into pursuit instantly, and Florida Highway Patrol was quick to join the chase. >> Northbound, 90 mph, passing the 334. [Music] [Music] [Music] 04. 04 park. >> Even though the vehicle was stopped, there's no denying the pit could have been executed better. The truck was sent straight into another car. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt. The driver was arrested on the spot, read her rights and checked by medics after claiming to be disabled and making a string of bizarre statements. Once medically cleared, she was taken into custody. Now she's facing a long list of charges, including DUI, reckless driving, aggravated fleeing, drug possession, a stolen firearm, and the original warrant that started it all. On July 4th, 2025, a purple Dodge Charger came flying down the I530 at nearly double the speed limit. When troopers tried to stop the driver, he hit the gas and never looked back. What followed was a twocount chase topping 150 mph. The suspect, later identified as John Robert Stevenson Jr., swerved between cars, passed on the shoulder, and pushed the Charger to 158 mph. [Music] Yeah. Go ahead. 1418. [Music] >> Trooper Bob Love pushed past 110 mph, but even that wasn't enough. The Charger kept pulling away and then another trooper picked up the chase. Nicholas. The suspect hit the intersection doing over 150 mph and slammed straight into a brand new Toyota Grand Highlander. His Dodge came to rest on its side, but somehow no one was injured, not the occupants of the Toyota, and not the suspect, who got out like nothing even happened. He was arrested on the spot, ending a chase that caused total chaos on Arkansas roads. This clip might not match the title exactly, but it was too insane to leave out. Call it a bonus chase and hopefully one you didn't mind seeing. On December 21st, 2023, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper clocked a BMW Coupe flying down the highway at 145 mph. When the driver refused to stop, the trooper initiated a pursuit through Fort Meyers. What followed was a two-stage chase with one trooper in a ditch and the other sending sparks flying. 749. [Music] I can't see on this gravel road. [Music] >> The gravel road didn't allow Trooper Sheldon to take over the pursuit, but once the suspect hit pavement again, everything changed. Trooper Sheldon closed the gap fast and got into position, ready to take over the chase and show exactly what Arkansas State troopers are capable of. [Music] [Music] [Music] South Street. [Music] We're south 25. [Music] Hands up. Hands up. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. I'm coming. I'm coming. >> The chase ended with a collision, an arrest, and a damaged patrol car. As Springdale officers moved in, they found a firearm inside the vehicle. The driver, Emerson Castellano Diaz, was taken into custody and hit with a list of charges nearly as long as the chase itself, including felony fleeing, street racing, forgery, tampering with evidence, underage alcohol possession, and more. On a night meant for celebration, Castellano Diaz chose chaos and got shut down hard. Just after midnight on November 26th, 2024, a trooper near I 630 spotted a black Jeep Renegade blow through a red light at the Fair Park exit ramp. It should have been a simple stop, but the moment the vehicle slowed down, the driver made his move. As the Jeep turned down 11th Street, the driver briefly stopped and started to get out.
