How old are you? What are you just kidding? Don't be that cop. >> Stop. >> Don't be that cop. >> Close the door. >> Don't be that cop. >> You are assaulting me, sir. >> Give me back up. He's fighting me. I can't get off. >> Get in trouble. I get hurt. But I just want to tell you >> you just won't shut your mouth here. >> Because it's not fair. >> In policing, you find drivers who are willing to test every limit just to see how far [music] they can push before consequences catch up with them. Sometimes it's arguing over a simple instruction. Sometimes it's refusing [music] to cooperate during a routine stop. But when entitlement turns into arrogance, the outcome is usually the same. These are the moments entitled drivers pay the price after testing cops. First, let's meet an entitled female driver who believes she could control the traffic stop and make the rules herself. >> Why are you being like that? What is wrong with you? >> Just because you have a gun and a don't mean no power. In New Jersey, a routine traffic stop begins to shift as a driver refuses to follow simple instructions, turning a basic interaction into something far more difficult to control. After discovering the registration is suspended, but instead of settling the situation, the driver immediately pushes back, questioning the stop and refusing to stay inside the car. Officer repeatedly asks her to close the door and remain seated. She continues opening it and talking over him. And with each refusal, the situation, despite clear instructions not to move, she suddenly acts on her own decision. And in that moment, the situation shifts instantly from a verbal exchange into something officers have to respond to immediately. Even after being taken into custody, she continues arguing and questioning what's happening while the consequences of that decision begin to take shape around her. She was later charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and obstruction. Next, we meet the argumentative driver who claims he doesn't need to show identification when stopped by the police. >> Tell you the reason I stopped you cuz if you don't ID me, ID yourself. >> I don't have to ID myself if I didn't do nothing wrong. What did I do wrong? >> On December 8th, 2024, officers pull over a vehicle for a minor traffic violation. But instead of moving through a routine stop, the driver immediately begins questioning the reason and resisting the process. >> Good evening, sir. Do you mind rolling down all the windows for me? No, it's just two passengers. I ain't doing all that. >> Okay. Get your driver's license on you, sir. >> Yeah. But why? >> Cuz there's a traffic stop, sir. >> No. Why? I didn't do nothing illegal. >> I didn't run no stop signs. I didn't run no lights. >> Explain to you. >> Explain. But No. >> Yeah. But >> you got your camera on? >> When I explain it, >> do do you have your camera on? >> When I explain it, are you going? Hold >> on, babe. Let me call you back. I'm talking to the police. >> I'm grabbing my phone. Do you want me to tell you the reason I stopped you? Cuz if you don't ID me ID yourself ID myself if I didn't do nothing wrong. What did I do wrong? >> You just can't pull me and say, "Give me your ID." That's not what I'm doing. >> That's not what I'm doing. You don't run this traffic stop. You see the lights? >> What did you do? >> Do you see the lights? We I stopped you for an improper right turn. You do not hold the most right lane and you went right into the left. I don't know what to tell you, man. >> We're at West Street >> right back here. >> My hand's up here. driver's license right now. >> No. Why? >> Don't open my door. Don't touch my door. I will roll my window back up. You can call your sergeant. >> I will break the window. >> Call your sergeant. Can you call your sergeant, please? >> Absolutely. >> Can you please call your sergeant? >> Yeah. This is going to be about a 35. >> Can you please call your sergeant? Can you please call I'm going to roll my window up. I'm not going nowhere. I will cut my call, but call your sergeant. No, we're not going to do this. >> Call your sergeant. Please, sir. When asked for his identification, he avoids providing it, repeatedly asking why and demanding a supervisor. And with each response, the situation starts drifting further away from something that could have been resolved quickly. >> If you arrest me, you snatch me out this car. >> Unlock the car. >> Unlock the car. >> Unlock the car right now. >> I'm going to break the window. >> No, you shouldn't be having to do that. >> Listen, you need to identify yourself. You need to open the door. I will spray you. >> Open the door. Open the door. >> My window down. I'm grabbing the vehicle. >> Wait, give me a second on my ID. >> 14 hours. >> No. What are you doing? You're not supposed to do that. >> No, you're done. We're done. >> I'm not doing nothing. >> Watch this. Listen, you're not I'm not doing nothing wrong. >> You're going to jail. >> Hey, I didn't cause No, don't do that. Cause, don't do that. >> I didn't do that. >> You're going to jail. Failure to identify yourself. I don't have >> I couldn't grab my ID. >> Yeah, you could have. You could have. This is what happened. We're done. >> We're done. We're done. >> I don't run nothing though. You don't run this. >> No, I don't. [clears throat] >> I don't run nothing. >> But come on, bro. Come on. >> Emergency. >> Turn to rest. Okay. >> For what? >> For resisting. Okay. >> I didn't resist. >> Yes, you did. You didn't uh identify yourself. >> Bro, look how you came at me. I didn't do nothing wrong. >> This is a routine traffic stop. >> Yep. >> You were under arrest. >> I do not have nothing. >> I'm not doing Come on. If I was resisting, I'd be fighting you. >> Are you holding him? I'm searching in. >> Okay. >> I'm Come on, sir. Is you serious? I'm not resisting. >> Even as officers continue explaining the stop, he keeps delaying and talking over them. And it doesn't take long before that refusal leaves officers with fewer options to keep the interaction voluntary. >> What's your question? >> The supervisors do want >> I knew he was >> He told you. First off, you can backtrack. He told you to roll down all the window. >> I'm like, what did you done under arrest? The supervisor is coming. >> You can say whatever you want to say here. You're going to jail. You might You might look I'm going to turn around and put my back on your car. >> If you look in my car, my my wallet might be in my car. >> Where is it in your car? >> If you look in my uh glove department, you'll see. That's my little cousin. >> Your little cousin. >> I was going to pick up my son to make sure he can make it to work. >> Who owns the car? Is it my car? >> Is it just in your name? >> Everything is in my name. It's my car. >> John, are we good with the cousin? >> He said he doesn't have a license. >> All right, let's cut him loose. We'll tell the car. You killed my son so I can make sure he getting a word. >> So >> I wasn't even doing nothing illegal. >> You turned something you turned a traffic stop a civil infraction into into into a misdemeanor crime. >> Are we good with him? >> Ow. 10. We got one to >> I did not. >> I did not run. I cut my car. >> At that point the focus shifts as officers make it clear how far the situation has already escalated. while he continues insisting he's done nothing wrong and tries to reframe what just happened. >> Uh, soon as I turned the at the traffic at the light >> and when they turned the light when they cut their lights on, I pulled over up under this light. >> Okay. >> Right here at that traffic light, >> not around the corner, not down the street. Soon as they cut their lights on, I went to slowing down and pulling over. >> Okay. And when they were asking you for your information, you get >> I was asking them why did y'all pull me over? >> Okay. And you didn't give any information? >> Because I'm trying to figure cuz it's a routine traffic stop. Why are y'all pulling me over? >> And then soon as they said, "We're going to smash your window and pepper spray you." After that, they asked for my identification. I'm like, "What the?" >> So, they didn't ask you for your identification at the beginning. I'm just trying to gather what's happening here. If I was here for the traffic stop, then I could tell you what happened. But I wasn't here for the traffic stop. I got your side of the story. I talked to the officer and I'm just trying to get >> So, you're going to take their word? >> I'm not taking nobody's word over anybody. Because what I'm going to end up doing is I'm going to review the body camera footage. >> So, I I got >> So, I'm What I'm asking what I'm asking you is cuz I'm ask I'm just trying to figure out and get clarification cuz you're saying that they immediately started yelling at you. >> They said they were going to smash your window and do all of that. You did nothing. They didn't give you no commands or anything. They they they he asked for my ID after he said he was going to smash my window, pepper spray me, he asked me in the road all my windows down say, "Sir, it's only two people in the car. Me and the passenger." >> Okay. >> And then instantly like he came aggressive. >> Okay. >> I put it on my light. >> Okay. So when the when the primary officer came to make contact with you, did he >> It was these two. >> I know which two I know which two were. So when he came up to your thing, did he ask me? Did he ask you before >> out the gate? No, I asked him why did he pull me? >> Okay, I need to speak cuz I allowed him to speak and every time I like say something like interrupt me and I can't get my thought completely clear through. >> Yes. >> Even after that, he continues justifying his actions, claiming the officers were the ones being aggressive. But as the interaction continues, the gap between his version and what actually unfolded becomes harder to ignore. I wasn't resisting, but I know that what they were trying to do isn't right. >> Okay. So, what I'm going to end up doing is I took your side of the story. I heard what you had to say. I'm going to go and I'm going to watch their body camera footage. Just see what all transpired. >> So, I'm not going to say I'm taking one person's word over next. I can't take your word and I can't take their word. So, I'm going to go body camera footage. Body camera >> and I'm here. >> So, I'm just just letting you know. I'm going to review the body cameras and body camera footage can't be altered. This is something that we have no we we have nothing to alter. So like I said >> just clarifying on what you said cuz you said you said that they never he never asked. >> He asked >> in the very beginning. Did he ask you for your ID? >> No no no. Wait wait wait wait wait wait. Don't make me lie. Don't make me lie. >> I'm not making you lie. I'm asking. >> Don't make me lie. I'm asking you. >> I just know he came across some woo. I asked why. >> I'm not going to do it. Like I said I will review their body camera footage to see if there cuz when when I first approached you said that they were yelling at you. >> They were. >> Okay. So, I'm going to review my body. >> I'm going to review their body camera footage and I'm going to see if they were when they initially made contact with you if they were yelling at you. >> Do I have to go to jail? >> At this point, the officer is placing you under arrest. Yes. >> This is going to be the officer's decision. I wasn't here to see your actions. I can't say what happened. That's going to be the officer's decision >> to contest this. You're going to you can be tested in court. As I said, as far as your complaint, you said that they were being rude. You said that they were being aggressive. So, I'm going to go on. >> I understand [clears throat] they were doing their job. I'm not knocking that, >> but I'm just letting you know I'm going to style >> and I'm going to review their body camera footage cuz you're saying that they were yelling at you and they were being unprofessional. So, I'm going to go review that as footage to see if that actually happened. Like I said, our cameras can't be altered. Once we have to dock our cameras, they get uploaded. We can't do anything else but add a case on the tour. We can't do anything else but add a case on the tour. >> May I have my phone in my car, please? L call somebody or something cuz man a routine traffic stop. I cut my car out. I wasn't resisting. >> Like I said, I was not here. >> And now, >> oh my god, this isn't right. This isn't right at all. It's no way this is right, man. So the officer made a determination based off of the actions that offend >> and you agreeing with >> I'm not agreeing with anything with his word. I got to go. >> You can you can go look at my camera. I'm not agreeing with anything. If the officer observes some kind of action or some kind of behavior, then that's what he's articulating. He's going to write that down. >> He can't tell me this is why. You cannot tell me this is why this was your son. >> Okay. Every time I see every time I speak, you're interrupting me. I let you speak and I I I let you speak willingly without interruption. Every time I try to say something, you continue to interrupt me. >> What am I going to jail for? >> What am I actually going to jail for? >> It's going to be resisting. >> I didn't resist. What did I resist? I cut my car out. That's not resist. Resisting is running clean. I did not resist. This is rid What's What's your name? Make sure you put everything on there. Oh my lord. You're going to have a full day with me. This is Wow. Can't believe this. Step over here for me, please. Come on, Liz. I haven't been to jail in over how many years. And this what y'all do? I've been doing right by life. Wow. He was ultimately arrested for resisting without violence and procedural violations. Next, meet an aggressive woman who thought she could take on the police all by herself. >> Hey, stop this. >> On June 9th, 2024, police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation, but encountered fierce resistance from the driver. >> Can you step outside for me? >> What for? I have no reason to step out for me. >> Sir, you have to give me a reasonable reason why I'm No. Call your sergeant now. >> Get out. >> My life is in danger and you're threatening me. >> Get out. >> No. Call your sergeant. Then I will >> I will talk to your sergeant. >> No. I don't have to follow that order unless you give me a legal reason why >> you have a warrant. >> What do I have a warrant for? >> Get off. >> Open the door now. >> What do I have a warrant for? Help. I'm being assaulted by an officer. Help. He's assaulted me. I don't know why. >> Open the door. >> NO. YOU'RE ASSAULTING ME. >> OPEN THE DOOR. >> HE'S ASSAULTING ME. HE'S ASSAULTING ME. HELP. >> Open the door. >> I will. >> What do I have a warrant for? Tell me now. You are assaulting me, sir. >> Give me backup. He's fighting me. I take it off. >> From the very beginning, the man acted arrogant, demanding the officers justify their every move and even screaming that he was being assaulted. He then completely lost control, biting an officer's hand before the gas and taking off. At that point, the entire situation shifted into a completely different level. >> Osprey Get OUT OF THE CAR NOW. >> LISTEN TO ME. OKAY. Nobody's going to hurt you. >> Okay. Listen. NOBODY'S GOING TO HURT YOU. OKAY? We need you to step out OF THE CAR AND COME TO US WITH your hands up. Okay? Nobody's going to hurt you. All right? >> Listen. Listen. We could talk, Noah. We could talk about that. Okay? Look at me. Look at me, brother. Hey. Open the door, >> Noah. I'm going to throw sticks underneath the back tires. >> We're good. >> Hold on. I'm going to take commands. He said he talked to me. Open the door and come talk to me. You >> guys got me? >> 54 34. I got sticks underneath the back wheels. He drove recklessly at high speed through multiple streets before suddenly slowing down and turning into a residential area. Officers quickly moved in, surrounding the location and even carefully deploying spike strips to prevent any chance of escape. At that point, the tent's takedown was officially underway. >> Don't move. Okay. >> All right. We're going to open this door. >> No. No. >> No. >> Stop. >> Taser. Taser. Taser. Taser. STOP. >> Unbuckle him. Come out. >> I'll put his belt. Let me let me in there. >> I don't know what I did. >> I told you. >> I'm coming out. >> NO, YOU DIDN'T. I ASKED. >> YOU HAD A WARRANT. I told you. >> Hey, he's >> Do not claw me. >> Watch your Watch your hands. Don't get bit. >> Don't get resisting. >> I don't know. >> I don't know. >> I got right arm. Somebody grab left. Somebody grab what I did. Can you tell me, please? That's all I asked for. >> Grabbing on him. >> Bill, do you got a bite? >> He's biting. >> I'M SCARED. >> I'M SCARED. HELP. I was insulted. >> I Can you tell me? All I DID WAS ASK FOR INFORMATION OF ME. [screaming] >> I LET GO. I LET GO. I'M DONE. I'M DONE. I PROMISE. >> I'm too scared. I don't know. I can't. I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING. >> I'm not I'm really not. >> Get him behind his back. >> I don't I will comply. I was terrified. >> I was terrified. >> I can't move. I can't move. Ow. I can't help doing that. I can't move my arm. >> This arm. >> Yeah. >> This arm. >> Yeah, you're doing >> I'm really scared. Even on the ground, Noah acted like a wild animal, still trying to bite another officer's leg and grabbing at his groin while repeatedly kicking at the deputies holding him down. Even in the police car, his mood didn't improve much. >> Let's take these out. >> Just stop. Just stop, Noah. >> Oh, yeah. >> Just stop. We don't want anything else to happen. All right, >> that's okay. I'm scared. >> I know. >> My father's >> I know. I know. I know your father. Okay. >> But he's very narcissistically covertly abusive. >> Okay. All I should do is walk away from him. >> Do me a favor, take a couple breaths. Okay. >> Is that from him biting you or what? >> Biting me, claw me. He was me here. >> Is that just right now? >> No. When I first stopped my third, I told him to exit the vehicle. Refused to. He started reaching like he was going to get drive. So, I grabbed his arm, pulled it out the window. He started pulling pull me in, clawing at me, biting me. Eventually, he got in drive and took off. He just grabbed my crotch and tried to bite me, but I think he he got on there, but I pulled my arm away. >> So scary. >> I got somebody coming to you. >> I have no clue. >> Just relax with us. All right, be cool with us now. All right, it's over. >> Yeah, I was so scared. I >> I have no clue why there's more to my name. >> I've left out boundaries. I've asked people to leave me alone. I have no clue what's going on. >> Wait, pat him down real quick. Spread your legs. >> Yes, sir. >> Listen to me. All right. No. Do you have any needles on you or anything like that? Okay. All right. We just want to make sure. >> I hate >> Well, we just want to make sure. All right. >> We don't want to get stuck on you or something like that. All right. That's all. >> Check every pocket. Check me, please. I don't want weapons. I have no clue what's happening. Really, I'm confused more than ever because of this. I have no idea. >> Okay. >> Sorry. I didn't know why I would be an artboard. >> Good. Well, any ward exists any of it. >> Have seat. >> Yes, sir. I'm so scared. >> We'll get the air cranked up for you. Okay. >> Just relax for us >> to clean up my dog. >> No, we're going to go sit in the back with the medic. Okay. >> Yes, ma'am. >> So, sweep your feet out. >> I'm on to walk with you. I don't >> just walk with me. Okay. We're going to the medic. >> Can I ask that it's not so surrounding? I'm just scared of the officer at this point. I didn't know there was a warrant or anything. >> Go ahead. He's got me shot. >> Yeah, >> you're in Sycamore. >> Yeah, >> I know. I won't do it again. I promise. >> The suspect was then taken away in an ambulance for a health check. But the truth about Noah's delirious resistance was revealed when his father arrived at the scene to retrieve the dog from the car >> to clean up my dog. >> Noah, we're going to go sit in the back of the medic. Okay. >> Yes, ma'am. >> So, sweep your feet out. >> I want to walk with you. I don't >> just walk with me. Okay. >> Can I ask that it's not surrounding? I'm just scared of the officers at this point. I didn't know there was a horns or anything. >> Go ahead. >> Let me Yeah. >> You're in Sycamore. >> I know. I won't do it again. >> Noah, 24, was charged with failure to comply with a police order or signal, assault, obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest. But it doesn't stop there. The next woman's entitled attitude turns a routine traffic stop into a situation 10 times worse. >> White shirt, too. Call y'all white shirt. Y'all call your white shirt. He said, "Search my car, not my purse." So, call y'all white shirt. >> On March 15th, police stopped a vehicle after its automatic license plate scanning system detected that its registration had been suspended. >> You said there's nothing illegal in the car. You don't mind if I real? Good. Want to step up? Let's step up on the sidewalk here so we're uh not in traffic. >> Who you on the phone with? >> I'm calling with my insurance. >> You said what? >> That's not illegal. That's mad. That came from >> That's about weapons, not whether it's legal or not. I mean I >> I mean I ain't going to do nothing to you. >> No, that's not what he asked me to do something to. I mean that's about weapons, not >> that's not a weapon. That's mad. >> That's fine. That's right. It's besides the point. >> The driver stepped out looking visibly confused, clutching her phone as she spoke to someone on the line. It didn't take long to find out why. She was trying to verify her coverage with the insurance company. >> So what's going on tonight, man? Are you calling your insurance? You got insurance or what? >> Yeah. Yeah, I got SR22 and he's saying they suspended, but it's not. >> Your plate Well, >> the plates are suspended in the system. So whether I don't know whether or not you got the SR22 uh you don't got it with you anywhere. Maybe an email somewhere. You got an email or something? >> I mean, they probably got an email for it or whatever. >> You don't got one though? >> I I now because I had to delete my email too often. >> All right. All right. I mean, you ain't got nothing in the car saying you got your SR22, >> huh? It's probably some up in here in this van, but I got it. >> Is this your car? >> You don't I mean, you drive it most of the time. >> You drive it all the time, >> huh? >> You drive the car all the time? >> Yeah, it's my car. >> It's your car. >> But, uh, >> and the only reason I pay to be suspended is for S FR22, >> right? For the cuz for the insurance. I don't know if uh maybe there's some confusion, but the fact that the matter is it comes up suspended in our uh >> It's okay. >> Yeah, I just that's all it just comes up suspended in our >> There's somebody on the phone right now. >> She appeared increasingly nervous because despite insisting her insurance was fully paid, she couldn't produce any proof to support the claim. Meanwhile, the officer stood by patiently, waiting for an answer from the insurance company. >> Hello. Okay, I was calling about my SR22. My SR22 is paid. It's coming up that my insurance is my license my license plate is suspended. >> It's like um is that all >> um I don't know the policy number, but I can give you my name and address and everything. >> He didn't supposed to go in my purse. That's a different thing. I know my rights. He didn't supposed to go in my purse. He said my car. He didn't say purse. That's a different thing. Hello. How are you? >> And them antibiotics. You taking my medicine? Is you serious? Kenneka K. >> Last name is Anderson. You can't do all that. >> MY CAR, NOT MY PURSE. IT'S A DIFFERENT PURSE. HELLO. The [ __ ] I ain't [ __ ] crazy. Y'all know my rights. Yeah. Kenneka. K E N I K A. Last name is Anderson. talking crazy like y'all know my right. Also, I need to speak to a representative. Do y'all got like a 1-800 representative number? And could y'all call y'all white shirt, too? Call y'all white shirt. Y'all got to call y'all white shirt. He said search my car, not my purse. So, call y'all white shirt. Thanks. I appreciate that. >> I'm sure you would. >> Yeah. Y'all got to call my y'all white shirt. >> No. >> Yes, y'all have to. >> Y'all do have to. Yes, y'all do have to. You can't say no. >> You got to call your white shirt. I told him to search my car, not my purse. That's a difference. >> If you feel like >> I smoke marijuana, so that's my weed. I smoke that. >> Why don't you listen to me REAL QUICK THEN? >> NO, BECAUSE YOU'RE telling me no. Like, you're telling me no. Like, you was rude. That's rude to tell me no. >> I'm being rude right now. >> You was being rude. I just told you to call your white shirt because I didn't tell him. And he's still going through my purse and you're not even GOING TO STOP HIM. HE ASKED ME, can he search my car, not my purse? That's the difference. I didn't tell him to go in my car. I told him to search my car, not my purse. That's a difference. >> Despite being on the insurance hotline, she turned and started shouting when she saw the police searching her bag. She then asserted her authority by demanding that plane close officers be immediately dispatched to handle the matter. However, whether the car's insurance was valid remains a mystery >> cuz you ain't even supposed to take my car. You That's something you can't do. I actually got insurance. I don't have to I don't have to do that cuz I got I got insurance. You ain't even supposed to be searching my car for real. I agreed for you to do that. >> Cuz I didn't have nothing to hide. >> Why am I out here driving with no things on me anyway? >> Can we open this? >> I'll ask him to open it. >> I mean, he ain't going to know what to look for, but right here, can you open that for me? >> Just step back away from the street. >> I mean, I'll get back. I'll get back. But I know damn well I got I got insurance. No, he can't take my car. >> Old. >> You say what? >> Old Titos. >> Yeah, that's old. That was in there yesterday. I had that since last night. >> Oh, you smoked earlier. That's right. >> I was smoking weed. Yes, I was just smoking weed. >> It's just smoking time. >> Like 2 hours ago. I just literally came from work. Like I was just smoking weed. >> Smoking weed at work. I wasn't at work like in the parking lot smoking, but I was just smoking weed like two hours ago. >> Okay. And we we bringing a breathalyzer out here right now. You both straight zeros. >> I'm not blowing no breathalyzes. I didn't even have a reason to really get out the car cuz I actually could ask anyone out of the car that doesn't >> I mean, well, I'm at the park. Well, I didn't even have a reason cuz I actually I'm going to do I'm going to run you through some tests to make sure you're right to drive. >> I'm not I'm not >> You're going to refuse? >> Yes, I'm refusing. I'm not doing that cuz I'm okay with me. You like why you just you pulled me over for an invited license, right? That's not >> No, cuz your license plates are suspended. >> Okay, so we going to call him and then we going to get that set. >> Okay, that's that's out of that's out of >> When police found marijuana and a half empty bottle of Tito's whiskey in her purse. She nonchalantly admitted they were hers. The situation escalated when she refused to take a breathalyzer and drug test, leading to her arrest. >> Are you going to do field test or no? >> No. >> Okay. >> At this point, then you're going to be under arrest. Y'all have Okay, wait a minute. Hold on. Y'all ain't got to do all this. >> Can y'all stop ARRESTING ME FOR NOTHING? >> Y'ALL DON'T EVEN LET ME tell y'all the [ __ ] [ __ ] ME THE [ __ ] OUT. Turn over. >> GET OFF MY [ __ ] >> GET OFF MY HEAD. >> DO NOT FIGHT ME. >> CAN I GET more [ __ ] >> I asked for a white be a mess. Y'all going to be into some reason. >> Let me go. No, we are done. >> Get the [ __ ] off of me. >> Y'all going to really be in some math. Where's y'all white? Call white. >> Let me talk to you when you go to jail. >> Okay, do that, >> dude. What the hell's going on? >> Put the phone on the back of the vehicle. I'm not going to ask you again. >> As officers spoke with the woman, they noticed signs that she might not be fully alert, giving them even more reason to get to the bottom of what was really going on. And after seeing her uncooperative attitude, they decided it was time to stop going in circles and take action. >> I'm going to read you something. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions and to have the lawyer present during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed to you or for you before any questioning if you wish. If you decide to answer and answer questions without a lawyer present, you will still have the right to stop answering at any time. You also have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to a lawyer. Do you understand each of these rights that I have explained to you? >> With these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to us now? Sorry. >> What's going on? >> Um, get off of your phone. If I tell you one more time, you're going in cuffs. >> Fine. >> Turn around and answer the questions I just asked you. What the hell just happened? So, I'm over here. As officers read her Miranda rights, she reacted with surprising indifference. This hardly seemed like her first encounter with handcuffs. And in the end, officers were more than willing to grant her apparent wish of taking a trip to jail. >> There's another gentleman over there, blue shirt, black um black vehicle. >> Um it was on airport. Yep. >> Airport and 44. >> Stop moving. You can stand right here. What was that? No, he didn't. He was still there. I didn't even have an opportunity to cuz this one started to run. >> Yeah. I'm not going to tell you where. >> H >> I'm not going to tell you where. >> I don't want to. >> You don't. >> I don't want to know. Um Damn it. That's not a bad way to spend $2,500. There's anything other than it isn't. >> Yeah. >> Makeup. >> After completing the vehicle search, officers transported her to the station. By then, her attitude seemed to have softened and she appeared far more cooperative than she had been earlier in the encounter. Hey, this >> I can't hear you. >> Do you like what you do? >> Do I like what I do? Yes. Just because I have daughters and my idea is to make it a better place for them. You know why I'm stopping you? >> No. >> Two things. William, you made an improper turn. When you make a left turn, you have to go into the left lane, not the right lane. I had a car almost hit me the other day because of that. Here, that's good. And then the other thing is your plates unreadable. >> Oh, yeah. Our fire washing old, but supposedly there's supposed to be some new coming in. >> I'm waiting on that. I don't know. You see, I have the temporary set. >> Yeah. >> So, I'm just waiting on that, you know. Otherwise, I have no but I car wash it on the car wash and just >> Okay. Uh, next question. How much have you had to drink? >> Two drinks. Okay. Give me a minute. >> The police immediately noticed the strong smell of alcohol in the car. The driver admitted to two drinks which aroused suspicion that he was intoxicated and they asked him to get out of the vehicle. >> All right. I need you to step out. You admit to drinking. I just need to put you through a couple of things. Drink >> to work. You admitted drinking >> to work 21. I could have said anything. >> Okay. Well, that's fine. I have every right to get you out of the vehicle if necessary. So, please step out of the vehicle. Don't make this hard. >> You don't have a right. I haven't done anything to you and my husband. >> You have been drinking and you I can tell that you have been drinking alcohol. >> You have a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from you. That doesn't mean I was thinking it. >> Then prove me wrong. >> I don't have to. Actually, you got my information. I'm literally down the street. >> I need you to exit the vehicle. Otherwise, we will make you exit the vehicle. >> That's really unnecessary. >> It is not unnecessary. I am telling you that you have to exit the vehicle if requested by a law enforcement officer. >> That's not true. >> It is very true. >> It's not. >> All right. I was just turning you right into my house. >> Get out of the vehicle. That's obstruing. >> Get out of the vehicle. >> I'm not because I'm saying that what you guys are doing is unnecessary. >> It is not unnecessary. >> It is because I haven't done anything to y'all. >> We can instruct people to get out and get inside, get out of the car whenever we >> Right. But there's no reason. This is not reasonable. Despite being explained that he was underage to legally drink alcohol in the US, he stubbornly objected, claiming the police had no right to. The female officer then sternly gave him one last chance to cooperate. >> This is your last chance, okay? You need to step out of the vehicle, otherwise we will make you step out of the vehicle. >> I don't want to talk to her, though. >> Hey, look, man. With all due respect, I would talk to you and not her. >> Okay, man. And I I get you. So, can you come out of the car so I can talk to you back here, man? Can you please step away from my car if I'm going to listen to him? Turning off my car now. >> All right. Come over here, Z. >> All right, man. So, here's the thing, man. She spin the block again. I got in my car. My dumb ass was like, "Why did I pull out? I should have wait till she left." But no, she decided to follow me when I left the when I left the apartments and that's all. So, she had seen me already. >> Okay, >> that's all. That's all I'm saying. She has seen me already. And then she came the second time. >> Obviously, I don't I wasn't with her, so I don't know what she did. You get me? I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from, what you were doing. >> I'm literally coming from the road. I take a right and she stops me for whatever obstruction. But I have to listen to y'all because we tried talking already and I'm a citizen. I was born. >> You don't want to add more charges. >> I'm not. >> If you don't listen, then we will take you to the ground and put the cuffs on you that way. >> How am I doing anything wrong? >> You are resisting. >> I'm literally trying to talk to y'all. Classic mindset. She's never wrong. She's just misunderstood. >> We're not going to stop. >> No. No. I need to listen. I need to listen. >> Charlie, we're 104. >> I'm not going. >> So, we have an adult female. 10:15. >> I want my He took my purse. >> Okay. >> And then told us to leave because we moved a chair for our child. >> So, when he tells you to get out of the car so we can talk to you about what happened >> and try and pull like it's not cool. >> I did. Does she have the purse? >> No, it was hanging on the back of my chair. >> They went back in to get it cuz he refused to let me in. >> Somebody grabbed it like one of the employees. >> Okay, we'll make sure it's gone except taken care of. I have a pregnant woman and the guy didn't want to sit at the bar." >> Okay. >> He flipped out on me, started screaming at me, right? There's no reason to come asking you. So I gave the woman my chair instead. Okay. >> And then he decided to go outside and try to fight me. He took his shoes off. So I just locked the door. >> Nice. Their stories clash, exposing what was never meant to surface. >> See, I make sure she was at the main bar of the bar. But so she comes over here. You can see her. I'm right here. He starts getting mad. I said, "Girl, why you cussing at me?" I'm going to fit a $100 ticket. I said, "That's cool. That's not my problem." I was just asking if you could give these people his chair. So I got up and gave him my chair. He's sad. So then he flipped out. Then the son was like, "You you I said problem. Get out of here." He said, "I'm not leaving." And I said, "You're going to leave right now." So then he keeps going, keeps going. Then he decides to go outside the side. Go. I'm going fight you right now. I said, "Okay, let's go outside." Handcuffs on and she's taken straight to jail. >> So, will I get in trouble if I put on the reviews? >> No, that's we're going to speech loud. You can do whatever the hell you want with that. >> After everything's said and done, I'm going to go ahead and just let you know you're no longer welcome at a restaurant. Prosecutors later dropped the felony resisting charge, and the battery charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. The citation was dismissed, but she was ordered to pay $344 in fines within a year. That deadline has passed. The money was never paid. Now she faces a possible license suspension and her fines being sent to collections.
