On March 16th, 2025, Trooper Mulvy was on routine patrol on State Road 826 westbound when a black Ford Mustang with white stripes came screaming past, driving like it was auditioning for a Fast and Furious movie. The trooper activated overhead lights and sirens, expecting a routine traffic stop. Instead, the driver, later identified as Alejandro Garcia Estrada, decided today was the day to show off his evasion skills. Bang order. Bang. The Mustang started weaving across lanes and shoulders, nearly causing multiple collisions. and hitting speeds over 120 mph. The suspect continued southbound at high speed and exited onto the ramp where things turned for the worse. Heat. Heat. 1842. We just crashed out. >> The collision was so severe that the Mustang flipped over and landed on its roof. The trooper immediately exited the patrol vehicle, drew his weapon, and attempted to make contact with the driver. Looking through the driver's side window, the trooper could see the suspect trapped inside. With help from an offduty Miami Dade Sheriff's Office officer, they extracted him from the wreckage, but once safely removed, Estrada became combative toward both officers. After multiple attempts to subdue him, the trooper deployed his stateisssued taser to gain control. Sometimes cooperation is just too much to ask for. Apparently, Estrada was transported to Jackson West for medical clearance and then to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Facility without further incident. Want to know how not to pull off a retail heist? Let me tell you about October 4th, 2025 when three suspects decided Walmart was their personal shopping spree, minus the whole paying part. Hot Springs police were dispatched to Walmart for a theft in progress. Loss prevention reported a large quantity of merchandise being loaded into a black Dodge Charger by three suspects. Officers spotted the Charger and attempted a traffic stop, but surprised, the driver decided fleeing was the better option. taking out getting back on the line. The vehicle took off eastbound on the King Expressway with Arkansas State Police jumping in to assist. The chase continued until the Charger lost control and crashed on the expressway. 11. Crash. Crash. Crash. Crash. Crash. Troopers detained passengers Jackson and Barry in the vehicle, but the driver, Hampton, bailed out on foot, but state police apprehended him a short time later. Inside the vehicle, troopers found all the stolen Walmart merchandise totaling $3,441. Loss prevention showed up to reclaim their goods like they were picking up a delivery. Cavana Kentio's Hampton 25 of West Heleni Carly Faith Berry 23 and Malachi Thomas Jackson 22 both of Jacksonville faced felony charges of organized retail theft and theft of property over $1,000 each punishable by up to 6 years in prison. But Hampton, he got the deluxe package. Felony fleeing up to 20 years, seconddegree criminal mischief up to 6 years, plus misdemeanors for no liability insurance, fictitious tags, and fleeing on foot. On Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, a trooper was working a vehicle accident on Interstate 440 eastbound near the two-mile marker directing traffic when a gold colored Mercury came rolling by. The driver, later identified as Michael Lewis Jr., was holding up his cell phone with his right hand. Because apparently whatever was on that screen was way more important than not crashing. The trooper instructed Lewis to pull over for being on his phone. I got it. I got it. >> As the trooper approached the vehicle a second time, Lewis decided his best option was to floor it and flee eastbound on Interstate 440. It's going to be Arkansas 48 Adam I'm going to re Happy birthday. Right. >> Lewis took exit three, turning right onto Bankhead Road. And here's where things get interesting. He started throwing items out of the driver's window. out the window about two miles back. Pass 35 traffic. >> Let me see your hands, driver. Yeah. >> How do we wind up here from over there? Explain that to me. Explain it to me. >> Chasing me for no reason. We're about >> chasing. Chasing you. We're chasing you for no reason. >> Why you running? >> What's that? What's that? >> Pain medicine. >> Hey, buddy. You want to look right there and say they got me? After taking Lewis into custody, the trooper found $2,147 in cash in his right front pocket and a bottle containing 40 white pills believed to be oxycodone in his left front pocket. Inside the vehicle, they found a clear plastic bag of green leafy matter believed to be marijuana, a black scale, two bottles of liquid believed to be promazine, and an open container of alcohol. Lewis was transported to hospital where he refused all medical treatment, probably because he had bigger problems to worry about. He was then taken to Palaski County Jail and charged with a laundry list of offenses. It was midnight when three juveniles were spotted walking to a Maserati before stealing it. What they didn't know, they were being watched from a helicopter the entire time. Officers were quick to respond and quickly located the vehicle. They attempted to stop them, but not so surprisingly, the juveniles failed to stop and fled instead. East. >> All right, I've got it. Uh, I can call it eastbound 62nd. Uh, just pass an 18th. >> Cruisers, back off. >> Parallel and get in front. >> He's high rate, man. He's still blacked out. Passing 12th Street. Uh, I know we're on Bravo. See if we can get some of these. Oh, and he's going to lose it right here. He crashed. He's crashing uh 62nd and it's going to be just shy of 10th Street on the south side of the road. >> The driver operating a high performance luxury vehicle at extreme speeds lost control. The Maserati hit a curb and violently flipped over. The aftermath was devastating. One juvenile was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries. Three young lives forever changed because of one stolen car and a split-second decision to run. The helicopter footage Sheriff Gualtieri released shows the entire tragic sequence, a stark reminder that these aren't video [music] games and there's no reset button. On August 5th, 1919, trooper Mason Reading was riding with Corporal Desmond Benton on US Highway 412 when they spotted a black Honda Civic that appeared to be exceeding the posted speed limit. As Benton turned around to conduct a traffic stop, the driver, later identified as Trent Gaida, and his passenger, Crystal Star, decided fleeing was the better option. Benton [music] radio dispatch that he was in pursuit. Well, they're here. Ladies and gentlemen, >> after the pit, Guida turned south on Bington with Benton back in the lead and Tonat town following. Benton attempted another pit as low, but Guida swerved in front again. As the chase progressed, Guida began throwing small plastic bags out of the driver's side window, ultimately tossing a bottle full of liquid. Copy that. You guys >> southbound. Southbound. coming across. Uh, westbound went through going south on Double Springs. South on Double Springs. We get at least a halfway decent look at the driver. >> Negative. >> Okay, here's the real photo showing subject that looks similar to Bailey. We got a beard, that kind of look. >> The chase had gotten out of control a long time ago, and despite many pit attempts, the suspects were still on the run and extremely dangerous. What's even worse, there were no signs the situation was going to get better with the suspect driving like that. >> Spikes at 62 and Holland. >> He missed him. Okay, we're going into opposite lanes here. Getting ready to get on back on the interstate. northbound on 49. real wheel real. I need to stop. The chase continued and nothing good happened in the progress of stopping these suspects. Many units were closing in on the area, but with the suspect's unpredictable driving and sudden turns, it was very hard to get ahead of him. But Arkansas State Troopers are never giving up. And these suspects still had time to learn that the hard way. We real Trooper rammed Guidita's vehicle on the driver's side door, disabling it and ending the chase. Benton held Guida and Star at gunpoint and ordered Guida out of the vehicle. When Guida refused to exit, a Tonitown officer and trooper Reading physically removed him through the driver's side window and placed him onto the pavement. Upon searching Guida, they found $4,17 in cash in his pants pockets. Star was taken into custody by a Tonny Town officer. In relation to this arrest, Guida was charged with two counts of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, fleeing DWI, refusal to submit to testing, and resisting arrest. On March 7th, 2023, a Milwaukee police officer was on patrol when he spotted a vehicle that matched the description of an SUV stolen just days ago. He confirmed it was the stolen vehicle and attempted to stop it, only for the driver to floor the SUV and take the officer on a high-speed chase. is 2687. It is very 2687 clear for three hit me up. 34 35 clear to clear. The suspect ran basically every red light and stop sign, ignoring every traffic law he could, showing he had no intentions of stopping. He managed to gain some distance, but the officer closed the gap once again in a very short period of time. Here's a question for you. Do you think running from police in a stolen vehicle should carry an automatic prison sentence? Let me know in the comments. northbound. We are eastbound 27 on 27. Oh, yes. Crash, crash, crash, crash, crash, crash 17. >> Male, male, male. >> Black male, black shirt, black. >> As the suspect was running through yet another intersection, they collided with another vehicle, causing a very bad crash. Luckily, the innocent driver suffered only minor injuries. But when it comes to the suspect, they immediately bailed out and officers gave chase on foot. >> GET ON THE GROUND. BLACK MALE, black shirt, white pants. Southbound. GET DOWN TO THE GROUND NOW. GET DOWN. STAY DOWN. THERE'S ANOTHER ONE. He's still southbound. Hands out. Hey, he's right there in front of you. Squad, put your hands behind your back. Do it now. The driver was caught first and a few moments later all other occupants were caught and arrested. They were later taken into custody. As there are no public reports on this incident, we can only hope these suspects learned a lesson from this and they better be smarter and not do anything like this ever again in their lives. On April 6th, 2024, at around 4:58 a.m., West Valley Division Patrol officers were traveling west in the block of Sherman Way in Los Angeles when they approached the intersection of Sherman Way and Rada Boulevard. They pulled up beside a gray 2019 Lamborghini Huracan that was stopped at a red traffic light. And here's where things get weird. The driver was sleeping. The officers immediately repositioned their patrol vehicle behind the Lamborghini. >> Step out of the car right now. >> I'll explain in a second. I need you to step out of the car for >> me. You're being detained. >> I know. I know. >> I understand that. I need you to come out of the vehicle right now. >> I know the law. >> Okay. I know the law as well. >> Look, we're going to go back and forth. I have a bunch of units responding. >> This is a regular traffic stop. That's the traffic stop. Right. >> This was a regular traffic stop and it turned into something else. >> What is it? >> This vehicle is stolen. I need you to come out of the car. >> This is >> This vehicle that you're driving is stolen. >> I just I stop. >> Okay. I need you to step out of the vehicle. >> I just did. >> Okay. Well, we need to double check and verify things, but I need you out of the vehicle. >> Hey. Hey. Hey. After several minutes, Dugan sped away at a high rate of speed. The officers activated their emergency lights and siren and initiated a pursuit. A few seconds after the pursuit began, Dugan lost control of the Lamborghini while traveling at a high rate of speed. 47 pursuit crashing vehicle STC on the airway The crash was horrific. So bad that the Lamborghini split in half. Imagine how violent that impact must have been. Officers tried to locate the suspect, searching through the wreckage. After some time, they realized he wasn't trapped inside the destroyed vehicle, but had been ejected instead. I can't tell, dude. >> Hey, did you guys see anyone run? Did you see anyone run? >> I didn't see nobody. >> All right, cool. Hey, we heard him and um This is the moment officers spotted Dugan. He was ejected several hundred feet away on a nearby sidewalk where paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. The pursuit and crash remain under investigation. Here's a sobering thought. High-speed crashes and supercars are almost always fatal. These vehicles aren't designed to protect you when you lose control at extreme speeds. Did ever wonder what goes through a teenager's mind when they're behind the wheel of a stolen car? Well, on January 13th, 2023, a trooper was about to find out. The Van Burren Police Department reported a stolen white Dodge Dart. The trooper spotted the vehicle turning off Kelly Highway, ran the plates, and confirmed it was the stolen vehicle. Time for a felony stop, right? Wrong. The driver had other plans. Instead of pulling over at the Valero gas station, the driver hit the gas and fled westbound on Sprdling Avenue. Unfortunately, he's taking off. >> Northbound comments headed. Please comments. We're still east. Speed 65. It didn't take long before the trooper caught up and regained control of the chase. The troopers radioing dispatch while this 16-year-old tears through residential zones at 75 mph. That's 45 over the speed limit. >> I'm sitting over here at 6 in Riverside. We're going through we're going back north or southbound on standby. We're back northbound. We're turning back eastbound by uh Gre westbound westbound by Gerber bridge. your back on new one. >> I'm on Clayton right now. >> You're going to get shot. >> The 16-year-old driver and his 14-year-old passenger bail out and run through an alleyway. The trooper catches the passenger while other troopers search for the driver. TFC John Bass eventually finds him running behind a church. Ironic location, right? Maybe he was looking for sanctuary. The trooper read the driver his rights at the ambulance and asked the million-dollar question, "Why were you running in a stolen car?" He said he was scared and [music] didn't know what else to do. You know what else you could have done? Not steal a car. After a hospital visit, both juveniles were transported to Sebastian County Juvenile Detention Center. What starts as a simple speeding ticket and ends with a rollover crash, a foot chase, and a loaded Glock. Let me tell you about November 8th, 2023. Trooper James Reed was on routine patrol traveling northbound on US Highway 79 near Thornton when a passenger car came flying by southbound. The trooper locked the vehicle on radar at 74 mph in a posted 65 mph zone. Not exactly breaking land speed records, but enough to warrant a stop. The trooper activated emergency lights and after taking a little time, the driver finally pulled over. As the trooper was about to exit his vehicle to speak with the driver again, the driver put the car in drive and took off southbound on US Highway 79, hitting speeds around 100 mph. All units direct Where is this traffic? 415 world is supposed to. The trooper really quickly got close behind the suspect and attempted a pit right away, putting pressure on the suspect and letting him know that the trooper wasn't here to waste time toward Where you at? Turn around. Back up. roll over. >> The suspect vehicle struck a guardrail and rolled approximately two times along the median and then both the driver and passenger bailed out and fled on foot. A short time later, deputies with the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office apprehended the driver, who was later identified as Khalil Trayvon Galloway of Camden. During an administrative inventory of the suspect vehicle, troopers found a small black scale used to weigh marijuana and a loaded Glock.
