was visibly crying and appeared terrified despite the intense yet amusing nature of the pursuit he was arrested and taken to the police station bringing the chase to a [Music] close on November 9th 2024 a trooper responded to University Plaza in Tampa Florida for an ongoing Street takeover officers and an aviation unit from the Tampa Police Department observed a large group of vehicles and pedestrians gathered in a parking lot engaging in activities such as burnouts Donuts drifting and other unlawful Behavior as the trooper entered the parking lot and approached the group a black Dodge Charger was seen fleeing law enforcement from the Takeover scene the trooper pursued the vehicle from the rear in a marked Florida Highway Patrol unit with emergency lights and siren activated attempting to initiate a traffic stop the driver identified as Michael Nunes refused to comply and continued to flee recklessly eluding law enforcement now the back seat on the side [Music] the suspect's vehicle was already damaged making it significantly more difficult for him to evade officers during the pursuit [Music] [Music] got car fire over at the W [Music] the trooper and responding officers removed nunz and two passengers at gunpoint Nunes was found to have an active warrant while passenger Dennis Cesar loano Gonzalez was on probation for domestic battery a search revealed marijuana containers labeled with loano Gonzalez's name and a loaded FN 9mm handgun passenger Ruben oampo unaware of the Takeover was released Nunez and loano Gonzalez were arrested and booked in Hillsboro County on charges of unlawful racing and aggravated fleeing to elude first be on 589 first in Troy New York on Monday July 8th 2024 Troy police officers controlled the area of Second Avenue and 116th Street following Community complaints about illegal drug sales and prostitution while monitoring the area for about 15 minutes officers observed 33-year-old melquan Simpson wearing a balaclava ski mask and carrying a crossbody pouch repeatedly circling the block on his bicycle using the sidewalks officers decided to stop Simpson for further questioning about his actions however when officers attempted to stop him Simpson fled on his bicycle 122 see chares on purs with the m b between one and two 15 16 first be on 589 first Simpson fled on his bicycle eventually riding over into a Chase and ended in tragedy Simpson was later found deceased beneath the water through a follow-up investigation Troy police discovered that Simpson was under the supervision of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision as a parole Le and was actively wanted as a parole absconder additionally at the time of the incident Simpson was carrying a quantity of cocaine inside the crossbody pouch in Conway Arkansas on July 4th 2024 Trooper Ronald Grace observed a motorcyclist driving over the posted speed limit on Interstate 40 when the motorcyclist failed to stop a high-speed Pursuit ensued I believe [Music] probably get back [Music] on definitely get back on turn the motorcyclist reached speeds of 150 mph during the pursuit but Trooper Grace managed to officer attempted a traffic stop but Mitchell refused to pull over the suspect then fled driving into a daycare center prompting officers to pursue up [Music] Sho as the situation escalated and got Southbound on Rich viw Road near appalache Parkway the trooper observed the stolen vehicle a blue Mitsubishi turning onto appalachi Parkway from Rich viw Road at a high rate of speed with emergency lights and Sirens already activated the trooper got behind the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop however the driver accelerated initiating a Pursuit be [Music] better stop the trooper rammed the suspect's vehicle forcing it into two u-turns while maintaining contact before ultimately bringing the vehicle to a stop get out the car get out the car get out the get out the car now get out the but was unable to do so as the vehicle was pinned against a pedestrian guard rail the trooper right now grabbed his right wrist while a tpd officer grabbed his left wrist together they removed the driver from the vehicle and placed him on the ground the trooper then secured the driver in double locked handcuffs behind his back and placed him in the rear seat of a patrol vehicle the driver was identified as Antoine Jones who was arrested for grand theft of a motor vehicle and fleeing in a looting tpd transported Jones to a hospital for evaluation before taking him to the lon County jail for booking the scene was subsequently turned over to tpd westbound looks like normal speed almost all right he's off in Deltona Florida on Sunday morning August 16th 2020 a blue Honda hatchback fled from a Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety Officer who had attempted a traffic stop for speeding the vehicle also fled from both the Port Orange Police Department and Daytona Beach Police taken into custody he was charged with multiple counts of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement reckless driving driving without a valid license and attaching a tag not assigned there were no injuries in the crash and morales's passenger was released with no charges on September 20th 2024 while patrolling Highway 42 an officer observed a vehicle traveling at 75 mph in a 45 mph Zone using a moving radar the officer turned around maintained visual contact with the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop during the stop Deputy Brown noticed a marijuana bag in the passenger seat and questioned the driver Carlos Mosby Mosby then fled the scene initiating a vehicle Pursuit what happened sir what happened what's going on man what's up bro reason for the Trap St is we got you at 75 and 845 ready [Music] go yep he right by [Music] the second pit maneuver was successful causing the suspect's vehicle to crash into a tree and Catch Fire officers quickly exited their vehicles to attempt a rescue but the suspect managed to exit on his own and fled on foot hey I got him put your hands behind your goddamn back put your hands behind your goddamn back the suspect Carlos Mosby exited the burning vehicle and fled on foot but was quickly apprehended by faster deputies Mosby exhibited signs of intoxication including the odor of alcohol on his breath a subsequent search of the vehicle revealed an open alcoholic beverage and a modified Glock 19 with an legal switch making it fully automatic a gcic check showed Mosby's driver's license had been suspended since August 1st 2023 for failure to appear and he had a prior felony conviction from Newton County in 2018 for criminal attempt Georgia State Patrol arrived to complete the crash report and Clayton County EMS evaluated Mosby's injuries he was transported to pedmont Henry hospital for further evaluation before being booked into to the Clayton County Jail
