The Honda CBR100RR the suspect was riding can reach speeds over 180 mph, making it one of the fastest production motorcycles on the market. It was February 12th, 2022 when troopers were once again in pursuit of a reckless motorcyclist. The rider of a 2021 Honda CBR 1000 ARR refused to stop, blazing past units and ignoring emergency lights and sirens. With help from air support, troopers stayed on him as he sped through the city and onto I75, determined to get away at any cost. [Music] [Music] ide [Music] anywhere. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] The highway was packed, making it nearly impossible for patrol cars to keep up. But the suspect had the advantage, weaving effortlessly through traffic on his bike. Still, what he didn't count on was the eye in the sky. With helicopter support guiding the ground units, it was only a matter of time. Just 7 minutes later, troopers had him back in their sights. [Music] [Music] Yeah, you guys stay on level options. [Music] down. [Music] Get on the ground. Get on the ground. The suspect's run came to a sudden stop when he crashed into the back of a patrol car at the intersection. Thankfully, no one was injured. The rider was identified as Bari Briney from Lethonia, Georgia, was taken into custody without further incident. His bike, which had no insurance and a suspended registration, was impounded. Briney was charged with multiple offenses, including fleeing, reckless driving, and speeding, and was booked into Fulton County Jail. During the 2-day joint operation, law enforcement agencies were specifically targeting a group of motorcyclists known for reckless riding and street takeover behavior in Kittinden County. It was May 9th in 2024. The chase unfolded as several bikers refused to stop, weaving through traffic, running red lights, and reaching dangerous [Music] speeds. 1937 [Music] 37 on Broadway [Music] unit 37. Careful overhead overhead. [Music] In just 33 hours, Arkansas State Police and partnering agencies made 795 individual contacts, seized 11 firearms, recovered two stolen vehicles, and confiscated a variety of illegal drugs, including fentanyl, meth, and cocaine. And while five different vehicle pursuits broke out during the operation, troopers didn't back down. They arrested 23 individuals, including several on felony charges, and issued 372 citations. So, if you thought you could ride dirty through Kittinen County unnoticed, this operation was a loud and clear reality check. In this video, the suspect wasn't even on a motorcycle. He was on an escooter. But this chase surely won't disappoint you. Before that, make sure to hit that subscribe button as 95% of you watching still aren't subscribed. Some escooters can hit speeds up to 100 kmh, which sounds cool until you realize they have the stability of a shopping cart with a jet engine. And let's be honest, using an escooter to outrun the police is like bringing a butter knife to a gunfight. It was December 22nd, 2022 in Australia when 38-year-old James Cole was spotted blasting down Majura Parkway on an escooter at 100 kmh. Police attempted to stop him, but instead of pulling over, James did what only James would do. He hit the throttle and tried to flee. [Music] [Music] [Music] Pull over. Pull over. [Music] He swerved off the highway and onto a bike path, forcing multiple cyclists to jump off their bikes just to avoid getting hit. At this point, you've really got to wonder what was going through his head. Like, seriously, who looks at a police pursuit and thinks, "Yeah, I got this. I'm on an e- [Music] scooter. Heat up [Music] here. [Music] I've got to go to work. I've got to go to work, man. And that was the end of the great escooter getaway. After crashing, James ditched the scooter and tried to run on foot, but was immediately arrested. And to top it all off, he actually asked police why they were chasing him. He ended up spending a month in jail after pleading guilty to seven charges related to the chase. Some Harleyies weigh over 900 lb. Great for cruising, terrible for dodging spike strips, and squeezing through traffic in a police chase. It was October 3rd, 2023 when Calvin DeMarcos Hinton, who is also wanted felon, decided to run from Arkansas State Troopers in the late night hours. What started as a routine attempt to stop a suspect quickly spiraled out of [Music] control taking the 2B ammo. Okay, back [Music] on 75. real [Music] be [Music] blackmail I believe it is. Hinton pushed his motorcycle to speeds of 110 mph, flying down the highway like he had nothing to lose. Fortunately, traffic was light, reducing the risk to others. But that didn't make it any less dangerous. And troopers knew one thing for sure. This wasn't the kind of guy who'd just pull over. They had to find the right moment to shut him down. We're the wrong [Music] way. We're the wrong way. [Music] He can't corner very well [Music] though 93 traffic coming up interchange right now. [Music] Please, we're going to be continuing 30 west. Just as another trooper joined the pursuit, they moved in fast, trying to box Hinton in and bring the chase to a quick end. But the suspect wasn't about to give up that easily. The second he noticed their plan, he kicked it into high gear, making the situation even worse. [Music] [Music] We're coming up on 65th Street. He's 101. Traffic. [Music] We're going to be taking the 135. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Oh, [Music] [Music] well, we're going the wrong way. How the suspect managed to escape that box in attempt is beyond crazy. You probably noticed his motorcycle wobbling at over 100 mph, barely holding steady, but somehow every time he pulled it off, just enough to keep fleeing. But this time it was a different [Music] story. I'll back off just a bit right here. [Music] After crashing his motorcycle, the suspect ditched it and tried to flee on foot, but a wellplaced taser quickly put an end to his run. He was arrested on the spot and later charged with felony fleeing, fleeing on foot, driving on a DWI, violating ignition interlock device requirements, driving the wrong way, speeding, reckless driving, and failure to stop at a red light. Safe to say that's not how you want your night to end. Brazil is no stranger to wild police chases, and most of the time it's two wheels versus two wheels. This time, the suspect was a known drug trafficker. When officers moved in to arrest him, he didn't waste a second. He hopped on his motorcycle and took off, kicking off a high-speed pursuit through the crowded streets. Say you paria ducky. Wow. All right. Keeping up with suspects on motorcycles in Brazil is no easy task, especially when the chase dives into tight, narrow streets jammed with cars. Patrol cars don't stand a chance, and even police bikes struggle to keep up. Do you think motorcycle chases in Brazil actually more intense than the ones we see in the US? Let me know what you think down in the comments. [Music] more down. The suspect lost control and crashed with two officers right behind him. There was no chance for a foot race unless he planned on running straight into handcuffs. He was arrested on the spot. And we don't have more details, but one thing's clear. This chase was pure chaos. The average motorcycle can hit 100 mph in under 7 seconds. But you also have to be a skilled rider if you want to evade capture. It was June 30th, 2024 when this rider thought speed was his ticket to freedom. Blowing through red lights and weaving through traffic at 110 mph. But once those lights came on, it wasn't just a race. It was a countdown to capture. I can [Music] [Music] see going now. [Music] The trooper was struggling to close the gap, but maybe the suspect felt bad for him because for some reason he turned around in the middle of the road and that was all the trooper was waiting for. [Music] [Music] Hey, get on the ground right there. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. We crashed out. Reigns and Sullivan one at gunpoint. Get on your face. Can I take your 1016? Take your bag off. Oh, sorry, bro. Take your bag off. I'm working on it. Put your hands on your back. Oh, can I breathe out, please? The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. He had a small cut from the stop, so medics were called in before he was sent to Baptist Health in Little Rock. Turns out Mr. James Brown had no motorcycle endorsement, a suspended license, an unregistered bike, and was rolling with fake tags. Basically, he checked off the whole what not to do list. After getting cleared by the hospital, he was booked into Palaskki County Jail and hit with a stack of charges, including fleeing, careless driving, and a bunch more that make it clear this ride was anything but legal. It was July 27th, 2023, and Trooper William Robbins was sitting stationary when a motorcyclist flew past him at high speed. Without hesitation, Robins threw the patrol car into drive, activated his lights and sirens, and closed the distance. At first, everything looked routine. The biker began to slow down, even signaling toward the side of the road and giving the trooper every reason to believe this would be a quick, uneventful stop. But as Robins followed behind, it became clear the rider had no intention of pulling over. And you already know what's coming next. This traffic stop was about to turn into a full-blown chase. You better stop. You better stop. All right, he's taking off [Music] again. We're on the service road headed back towards town now. Uh coming back up on Magic Springs. city. White helmet. Oh yeah. [Music] To make things more suspicious, he was carrying a backpack. And once he refused to pull over, troopers started putting the pieces together. They suspected he was carrying illegal substances and that backpack might have been the reason he ran. [Music] We just turned on to Crescent Avenue. [Music] What kind of speed you get? I'm going to shoot you. I'm going to shoot you. I'm We're in parking lot right now. back on crescent. [Music] S Steve okay if we can't get him stop there pretty quick and he goes to get reckless do it because we don't the suspect clearly wasn't winning any awards for riding skills as he nearly lost control several times and it all came to a head when he flew through an intersection straight onto the grass and as we all know grass and motorcycles don't exactly get [Music] along make that Hold on a [Music] second. You're being recorded. Put your hands behind your back. In case you missed it, the suspect actually told the trooper he's being recorded. Like, seriously, you flee from law enforcement, ride like a maniac, endanger everyone on the road, and then try to drop a line like that? But it didn't help him at all. He was quickly arrested and taken into custody. And just as the trooper suspected, that backpack wasn't empty, officers found several illegal substances inside, only stacking more charges onto what's likely a very long wrap sheet by now. This motorcyclist wasn't just breaking the law by riding without a helmet. He was riding a stolen motorcycle with nothing but a t-shirt on. Not exactly the smartest getaway plan. It was June 18th, 2024. Trooper James Jones attempted to pull the motorcyclist over, but he refused to stop. Moments later, Trooper Jones ran the plate and discovered the motorcycle was reported stolen, turning this stop into a full-blown pursuit. Here's my turning as well. Shell [Music] Roger southbound on counter. Still no traffic. [Music] As the chase progressed, the suspect led Trooper Jones onto a rough off-road path. The trooper expected him to lose control at any moment, especially on that uneven terrain. But surprisingly, the rider held it together and made it through, continuing [Music] fleeing. Be careful right here. He might run him over. Is that right? [Music] Yeah, that's not a Yeah, that sounds like a swing swing. [Music] [Music] As Trooper Jones hit a bump, a part of his patrol car came loose. You can even hear it clattering during the pursuit. The suspect veered off-road again, taking full advantage of the bike's agility. Chasing a motorcycle is tough because it's too risky to pit them, and boxing them in only works if you've got backup. But when you're solo in the chase like this trooper, it's a whole different challenge. All right. Just turn alpha 112 coming back up to 112 on turn westbound just seconds after another trooper joined the chase. Everything changed. Okay, we are going southbound on north. Get on the ground. The suspect veered off into a ditch as troopers moved in to box him in. He lost control of the bike and that was all troopers needed. They quickly moved in and took him into custody, bringing this wild chase to a close.
