So give me my kid. LET ME LEAVE NOW. AND HE HAS DONE NOTHING but me the entire >> he does you >> look at this got stitches. He just slammed me >> when he pushed me. He made me pee all over myself. >> He's so evil. SIR >> just pissed on myself. >> It takes a lot to surprise experienced officers. But inside this home, something felt immediately wrong. The tension, the behavior, the way everyone reacted, it was enough to leave even the cops cautious. >> Some problems when I was a >> baby, I just said officer. >> This is when hero cops were speechless inside a shockingly toxic home. Here is law zone where features real police body cam footage documenting how officers handle tense and unpredictable situations as they happen. The first incident is that police save baby from an unfit mother. Insanely dangerous to raise hers THE ENTIRE TIME. >> YOU KNOW WHAT? SHUT THE UP. I DON'T WANT TO BRING you your kid because you are a mess. >> The back of our daughter's head. Hit the door. You don't put a child in the middle of your fight. She's so used to them yelling. And >> on January 20th, 2024 officers respond to a residence after reports of a heated argument between a couple that reportedly became physical and involved their one-year-old daughter being injured. >> What >> is that? How it's going to be? >> Yeah. This is apartment. What? >> What >> is that? How it's going to be? >> Yeah, THIS IS REALLY HOW IT'S GOING TO BE. CUZ I'VE BEEN TRYING TO LEAVE THE STUPID SON of and you AIN'T GOING TO DO NOTHING. SO GIVE ME MY KID. LET ME LEAVE NOW. THAT'S WHAT Y'ALL ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE FOR. NOT FOR ME. FOR HIM. >> WOW. >> SO UNTIL I GET MY KID, I'M GOING TO BE THIS WAY. >> OKAY. >> BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO RIGHT. HE DIDN'T ASK MY PERMISSION FIRST. >> What are you I don't know what you're talking about. YEAH, I'M TALKING ABOUT MY KID BEING UPSTAIRS THAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF AND GET MY KID BACK FOR THE LAST 5 MINUTES WHILE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR Y'ALL. >> OKAY. DID YOU CALL? >> THEY CALLED HIM. NO, THEY CALLED THEY CALLED YOU. >> OKAY. WHY' they call? >> HOW THE AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW? ALL I KNOW IS I'MING I DON'T KNOW. >> Officers attempt to calm the situation and ask basic questions. The mother refuses to cooperate and continues demanding her child while officers state they are concerned about her current condition and ability to safely care for the CHILD BECAUSE THE PIECE OUTSIDE SAYING THAT I HIT HER KID BUT THE DOOR THAT DID IT WAS >> OKAY I I don't know anything about that but I'd be willing to FIGURE OUT >> KID DOWN HERE SO I CAN TAKE HER AND I AND LEAVE. >> How old is your child? SHE IS A YEAR OLD AND HE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT BE ME THE ENTIRE TIME. >> CAN YOU BRING IT DOWN? >> BECAUSE YOU GUYS WOULD NOT BRING ME MY KID TO KNOW THAT SHE'S ACTUALLY IN SAFE HANDS CUZ I DON'T TRUST THEM. >> BUT WHERE'S YOUR KID AT? >> UPSTAIRS >> WITH THE NEIGHBORS. >> YES. >> I DON'T WANT YOU KNOW WHAT? SHUT THE UP. I DON'T WANT TO BRING you your kid because you ARE A MESS. YOU ARE NOT FIT TO PARENT RIGHT NOW. >> I'M NOT A FIT TO PARENT. REALLY? >> YOU ARE NOT FIT TO PARENT RIGHT NOW. LOOK AT YOURSELF. >> YEAH, BECAUSE HE SURE IS. HI. >> Officers speak with the father separately. He explains the argument escalated near the doorway and says he attempted to remove the child from the area by taking her upstairs. >> Are you do you have injury at all? Are have you been injured? >> NO. WHY DOES IT MATTER? >> WHY? >> It apparently DOESN'T BE MY KID. SO WHY DOES IT MATTER? >> YOU KNOW WHAT? IF you can't have a conversation like an adult and act like an adult, then I'm not I'm not going to try and force it WITH YOU. >> MOM, LET ME GET IT SO I CAN LEAVE. >> Jesus Christ. She doorway here and she had stepped into the doorway without me realizing it. About as far in as about your shoulder would have hit about where your badge is on her back. >> Okay. And then that sent her into the wall. >> And I don't know if it was hard enough to send her into the wall or if she had exaggerated it. I don't know. >> Okay. Okay. Then what happened? >> And then after that, she she hit me. She shoved me. I took her to the ground. >> She continued trying to hit me, telling me to let her go. I said, "When you're calm." >> Okay. And where was your kiddo during all this? >> In her pack and play. >> Okay. >> In the living room. >> Okay. >> The father states that while he was carrying the child away, the door was pushed shut during the conflict, causing the back of the child's head to make contact with the door frame. uh dining room area and then I grabbed our daughter and I went to go upstairs and she shoved the door shut behind me, shoving me and our daughter into the door frame and the back of our daughter's head hit the door frame. >> Are you injured at all, Chris? >> Not that I'm aware of. >> No. Okay. Uh and daughters with the neighbor. >> Officers speak with neighbors who had taken temporary custody of the child. They describe frequent loud arguments between the couple and say they stepped in during the disturbance to stop the confrontation and take the child upstairs. >> Neighbors, is that right? >> Yes. >> Okay, I'll go and touch base with them. >> Hi everybody. >> Uh my name's Ben Doel. Uh what what's kind of going on? She's obviously I rate. I can't get a statement out of her. >> Every weekend, pardon my language. I'm pissed because the simple fact is you don't put a child in the middle of your fight. >> No, I I hear you. Um, yeah. Did do you guys know what happened or what did you hear or see before? >> Basically, it seems to me that she's extremely insecure because of pass that he's done. >> And so there's constantly a fight every weekend over who he's talking to, what he's doing on his phone, this, that, and the other. In all honesty, for 2 years now, it's been the same thing. It's constant. I am so sorry for my mouth. I I'm I'm fearless right now. Dude, >> don't bother me. None. >> That poor baby has done nothing to anybody. And I listen to the way that they talk to her when she's screaming, throwing a fit. Dude, it's a freaking one-year-old, >> right? >> Pick it up, love on it, give it food, change its diaper. Like, they're simple to take care of. Every time a fight starts, it's every weekend. It's almost every weekend. Sometimes it escalates this bad. Sometimes it's not this bad. This is the first time that I've ever heard of her getting hurt during a fight and I absolutely gave her he uh Chris came up, gave Jen the baby. I went downstairs to tell them both they needed to knock off because they're fighting. I have four kids of my own. Three of them right now are gone to the Royal Kids Family Club over there at the church. >> My littlest one is here and now we have her, which I'm cool with. I love this little girl. I mean, >> so she has injury. This little girl does. The neighbor explains, "This type of argument reportedly happens often and expresses concern about the environment around the child. The child appears calm and is being cared for while officers continue investigating." >> She got her head slammed, I guess, is what Chris said, but I haven't seen anything and she hasn't been flinching when you touch her or anything. But it's literally every freaking weekend they're fighting over something. And honestly, man, I'm tired of it. >> Not only is it traumatizing my family, like my dog is terrified and she's a huge dog. >> Like, she's terrified anytime they start fighting. So, that tells you me and her don't even raise our voices very often. >> The most I'll raise my voice is when it's four kids yelling and screaming, "Yo, keep it down." And it's instantly silent. >> Um, was she crying when when you got her at all? >> Uh, as far as I know, no. She's so used to them yelling and screaming like this. I >> I don't feel like she even understands like this isn't normal. Of course, she's a baby, you know. >> Yeah. >> I'm literally shaking right now because I'm so pissed. >> Okay. >> Like he came upstairs and basically barged his way past me. I went down there and they were literally fighting at the door, opening and closing, slamming it until I literally just barged my way in there. After gathering statements and assessing the situation, officers return to the mother and place her under arrest. She reacts with confusion and asks why she is being detained. >> I was like, "You both need to knock off. I'm tired of this. I'm tired of dealing with you guys fighting all the time. Now you got a baby in the mix." If you could just hold on to her for a second, I'll get back with you. Okay. >> Y I need my kid now. I have my mom on the way so we can go. >> Put your hands behind YOUR BACK. >> WHY AM I GETTING ARRESTED? What the hell am I getting arrested for? What the am I getting arrested for? >> I can't do anything. WHAT THE [ __ ] I CAN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING. >> THIS WAY. >> What the hell? I DIDN'T EVEN do anything to her. What the >> Stop right here and face that duty. >> Oh my god. What the >> Do you have anything on you, officers? >> I don't have anything on me. I just put clothes on so I can come get my hurt. Have a seat inside. Watch your head. >> Yep. >> We I don't know about domestic assault, but we for sure have child >> abuse. So, I'm going with that for sure. >> Okay. >> What do you want me to do? >> I think that should be all I need. Chris, uh, from what I've gathered, just so you're on the same page, it sounds like you were in an argument. She or you were getting the child to remove the child from the apartment. She slammed the door and the kid's head got caught in the door >> and slammed the door shut. And in doing so, her chest made contact with my back. >> Okay. >> Which pushed me forward. It contact the the door frame. >> Okay. >> Hard enough for she start it took her a couple seconds and she looked at me like >> gave me that look like what just happened? And then she started to realize it hurt. She didn't cry for more than a couple of minutes. >> That's the reason I'm taking her to jail. Um is because that's child. Um what is Can you spell Katain's name for me, please? >> C A T H A I N. Um, I will have to forward this report to DHHS. Um, are you involved with the case worker at all or anything? >> Uh, the only case worker I'm involved with right now is the case worker regarding my other daughter. Okay. >> That is in state custody. >> Okay. Just just so you >> because of her mother, not because of me. >> Okay. Just for the sake of full transparency, I just I have to forward this to them. Um, nothing I haven't just discussed with you will be disclosed. Um, and so we'll do it that way. Okay. Do you have any questions for me? No. >> Okay. I'm going to touch base with the neighbors. Um, and then we'll get her down there. Okay, Alicia is going to jail to Christopher for the rest of the day or whenever. Um, do you folks have any questions for me? >> Is she okay? >> Yeah, I think she's >> okay, >> bro. I'm not trying to be an [ __ ] but >> we got the problem dealt with at least for today, but um, just wanted you guys to be aware of that. Okay. >> The instant she comes back though is >> she won't be back till Monday. So hopefully something >> The mother was arrested and charged with child abuse. Remember domestic conflicts can quickly escalate especially when family members are present making it important to separate from the situation before it becomes unsafe. When officers respond to incidents involving a young family member, their priority is immediate safety and ensuring appropriate care while the situation is investigated. This is the reaction of netisonens to this situation. Glad the officers took time to talk with everyone before making a decision. Situations like this show how quickly arguments can get out of control. The neighbors stepping in to help the baby was the right move. Think this situation was already intense. The body cam catches a split-second decision that changes everything. Comment if you saw it coming. The next incident is when police rescue teen boy from mother who terrorized her own home. >> She threatened to break my computer and she hit me with it. I called her. >> I told her I'll call DCF. I mean, I didn't deserve that. >> I've never hit my son really. Just a moment out of fear. He's been very depressed and angry. I lost my control. >> On June 9th, 2023, officers responded to a home after a teenage boy reported that his mother punished him with a computer cord during an argument about him staying up late playing video games. Been >> some problems when you tell me what's going on. I was having some problems with my son and oh I'm luck he's in the restaurant. >> Your son is >> okay. >> So what happened y'all? You were like disciplining him or something. >> I really just snapped we were fighting him. Yeah. of course started, you know, as like week and he was up till 5:00 a.m. this particular time about a couple of years with him. I can't go to school or so he got me and staying up on the computer. I literally just stopped and started screen and it left. >> All right, we're going to talk to why don't you tell me what's going on? I uh got in an argument cuz I was awfully wanted to take >> Officers then speak with the 16-year-old boy. He explains that the argument escalated when his mother threatened to break his computer and he tried to stop her. >> She threatened to break my computer and I got in a little bit. I told her I wasn't going to let her break it and she told me to give her the cord and we yelled back and forth. up. So, we're going back and forth screaming and um she I've told her that she threatened to hit me with the I told her that if she did, I'd call DC and she hit me with it and I called her and she hit me with it a couple more times and hurt pretty bad. >> You have any marks on you or anything like that? >> Right over there. >> Was it like the cord to a controller? or just like a thick like like it was like a thinner cord like what plugs in the back. >> Oh, okay. I got you. Was this because like what was she telling you to like get off the game or >> I was on it. I was in bed and something had like like the the water heater had like the short circuit and I smelled smoke so I went and woke her up >> and woke her up and >> and I told her then she was like why still awake? And I told her I was like I couldn't sleep. I was on my game. But she starts calling me irresponsible and this that and the other and you know she hits me in the core and I just I just end up leaving like I'm gone for like 5 hours to come back. >> I just asked my dad to come pick me up and called the cops instead. >> And this all started because you're up till 5 in the morning. >> Yeah. Also, >> yeah. Was she trying to discipline you in any way, shape, or form? Or was she just or was she just yelling at you because you and I I just she wanted to like break my food and I got in the middle threatened to break. >> Officers ask whether he feels safe at home. The teenager says he plans to stay with his father and clarifies that although he doesn't want his mother arrested, he felt the situation was unfair. >> My computer, I got in the middle of it, told her I wasn't going to let her break my computer. She told me to give her the cord and I did and we're yelling at each other and she hits me. She threatens to hit me with the cord. I told her, "I dare you because I'll I told her I'll call DCF." And she hits me with the cord and she hits me a couple more times and [ __ ] I just I walk down the I just leave. Gotcha. >> Where's your dad at? >> No, it's mine. >> No, it's mine. He said that he was going to come pick you up. >> I mean, you know, he didn't say anything to you. >> I said he would, but Cool. We're just trying to create a safe. >> Police observe visible marks on the teen's body consistent with being struck. >> Officers explain that incidents involving parents physically injuring a child must be investigated under child abuse laws. >> Situation for you and your mom. Make sure nothing else happens again. Like you feel safe at your dad's house. >> Okay. >> And it's my mom. I don't want the rest of her thankfully. I mean, I didn't [ __ ] deserve that. >> I got you. >> You know what I'm saying? >> I got you. >> I get I get I was being irrespons. >> You're How old? >> I'm 16. >> Has this happened before with you and your mom? >> I mean, we we get in fights constantly, but it's never been like to where it's left marks for consecutive hours like that. Or >> Has anything ever gotten physical? >> Multiple times. >> Have the cops ever been called before? >> No. >> That's from the cord hitting you? Yeah. >> Give her all your information for me. Okay. And then just hang out right here for us. All right. Let's uh make sure he doesn't want to do any paperwork or anything like that. Make sure she doesn't want to and then >> we'll go from there. >> Chandler said they just meeting with a state attorney anytime. >> Officers speak again with the mother. She admits the argument became intense and says she lost control during the confrontation. She explains that ongoing struggles with her son's behavior and mental health had been causing tension in the household. >> Child, it's always child abuse. There's no DV, >> which is what I kind of thought, but also corporal punishment. So, I wasn't really sure. >> He said those are the only two things it can be if it's parental child, either corporal punishment or child abuse. We don't want to fail statement about anything that happened since it's fine court prosecute criminally any of that. No. Okay. All right. Miss heirs. It's errors. Right. Okay. So, do you want to fill out a statement about anything that happened today? Fill out any paperwork today? >> It is completely up to you. It is completely up to you. Um, so you don't want to fill out any paperwork, write a statement? No. Okay. >> What time did all this happen? >> 5:30 this morning. It happened. >> Has anything like this ever happened before? >> Not I mean I I smite my son, but not >> corporal punishment's a little bit different. So it's >> that's one that's one thing. >> I've never hit my son with a car. >> So uh I know his dad lives in Altimont. Like would it be all right if he went and stayed with his dad for a bit just to keep everything >> Yeah. >> chill. >> So, let me make sure we just got everything. He you said he was up till 5 in the morning on a playing a video game or on a computer. >> Um, and then what transpired from there? You guys got into an argument about him staying up all night? >> More. Yeah. Not just the all night. Like >> the mother acknowledges grabbing the cord during the argument, but says she does not clearly remember exactly what happened in the heat of the moment, >> the accumulation of the last couple of years. And um I was very nasty. He was very nasty. And you know, we were in each other's faces. He was trying to block my computer. >> Oh wow. >> And I did get the cord >> at some point. I started feeling like >> Okay. And honestly, I'm not exactly sure what I had. >> You know, I I'm not sure what I said. >> I'm not sure what phone. >> Gotcha. Okay. >> Really? Just a moment of fear. >> It's okay. Did you talk to him before about playing computer games that night or anything like that? >> Yes, ma'am. >> I was really affected by I know it sounds silly to care about right now, but um something we've talked about over the last couple years is uh you know state of his mental health >> and he's been very depressed and angry angry towards his siblings angry towards me and he yes he yes he yes he yes he yes he yes he yes he yes he yes he yes he has been we've been you know talk trying to work it out talking about it he's been disciplined with taking things away horrible punishment all types of different things and I I lost my control >> I understand all right I need you to stand up and put your hands behind your back okay to act like you're paying. Fantastic. Oh, you don't have anything on you, right? >> All right. So, based on everything that happens today, we're going to charge you a child abuse pay. You mean you'll get up on, so you'll probably be out by the end of the day. Okay. >> All right. Be careful. All right. Face the truck for me. >> Is that dad on the phone? >> This my stepdad. >> Stepdad. Okay. Kind of explain to you what's going on. You can kind of relate to him if you want. If you want to put on a speaker so he can hear it, that's fine. Yes. >> Um, >> obviously right now, even though you didn't want to do any paperwork, she didn't really want to do any paperwork. This being >> officers arrest the mother for child abuse, the teen is informed that the legal process will continue through the state attorney's office and arrangements are made for him to stay safely with family members while the case proceeds. >> Domestic in nature, we have to do something. Okay. Uh, she is the primary aggressor. Um, if you're wearing a hoodie and you're getting hit with a a cord and you have a mark on you over a hoodie, you got to be hit pretty hard, right? Um, yes, I understand there's corpal punishment, everything like that. But when you're leaving marks, it's a different story. >> Okay. Um, so the way domestic stuff works is she's going to be arrested. It's a no bond. Um, she'll see a judge in the morning. Um, it being Friday, today, probably won't see one on Saturday. Probably wait till Monday at that point. Unless the judge or somebody the court sees that there's a reason for her to bond out or whatever it is that she'll get that but typically not. Right. You'll get a temporary like no contact order with her until they set like a court date and everything. Does stepdad live here or is he lives here? Okay. >> Okay. Um so I mean you're not going to have to go anywhere. You can say your stepdad. Um and then they'll figure everything out courtwise as far as what's going to happen with her if it's whether it's time served or you know this is is going to go down further in court, right? But just for the incident that occurred even >> if I was to like if I was to go to court and like something I can do about serving less time and no time at all. >> Yeah. So what's going to happen? The state attorney is going to reach out to you guys and then they're going to talk to you see if this is something that you guys want to take further. Right. Um when we show up we take the initial arrest, right? we just have public cause to do this. As far as the charge that ends up sticking or whether she gets convicted or not or whether it's time served or a day or she already bonded out and that's all it is, that's going to be up to the state attorney. And again, they'll typically get in contact with you and then ask you, hey, do you want this? Do you want to continue your prosecute or you just want to drop this and let this go? >> And then if you just say this, you know, this was my fault or whatever the situation was like it won't happen again, they'll be like, okay, see you later. >> Yeah. >> Right. So that's all going to be on the state attorney side. So, she's probably going to spend so she's going to end up spending the weekend as well. >> Could be the weekend. Definitely the night. >> All right. Just face the truck for me. Spread your feet. I know you said you don't have anything on you, but I just got a choke. Okay. All right. Can you look at me and open up your mouth? There we go. Wiggle your tongue. All that good stuff. Okay. Awesome. I want to feel inside your hair real quick. Make sure you don't have anything there. Okay. Can you take this side off for me? I'm just going to shake this out real quick. Okay. So, you don't have anything up in there. All right. You slide on in. Perfect. Here's a business card with the case number on it and everything like that. Okay. So, you can give it to dad. You can keep it. >> Okay. >> I know it's not what you wanted to see, but unfort >> The mother was arrested and charged with child abuse. Remember, family conflicts can escalate quickly when emotions are high, especially when long-term stress and communication breakdowns are involved. when physical injury occurs during a dispute involving a minor law enforcement must prioritize the safety of the child and follow legal procedures regardless of family relationships. This is the reaction of nizens to this situation. Situations like this show how quickly an argument at home can spiral out of control. It's sad seeing families reach this point, but it's good. The officers stepped in. Hopefully, the family can get the help they need to resolve things in a healthier way. You think the officers were out of options here? Watch what happens next on the body cam and tell us if you would have done the same. The next incident is when little girl's 911 call rescues her from insanely dangerous mother. >> Holded her hands over my mouth and her. She said she wants to me. She said I'm a b word. >> Don't please. >> She does. >> On October 27th, 2024 officers responded to a residence after receiving a report that a young girl said her mother had been verbally harassing her and making threatening statements. >> Baby, I just said officer. Oh my god. >> Hi. I'm right here. There is nothing wrong. >> Can you come out here and talk to us real quick? >> Yes, there is. >> There's something wrong. >> She's having no YouTube. >> Come out here real quick. >> I haven't done anything. >> Come here. >> Come outside and talk to me real quick. >> Hey, there's a child asking for help. I'm here to help this child. >> Yeah, I am. >> Stay inside. are. No. >> Here, I will speak with you. >> Speak with her. >> No, no, no, no, no. Please, please. My >> We're just trying to figure out what is going on. >> No socks, right? >> Okay. She's got shoes on. She's fine. >> She's fine. >> She's fine. >> Calm down. >> What's your Do you want? >> An officer speaks with the girl who states she is 7 years old. She reports that the previous day her mother covered her mouth with her hands and said she would stop her. Step right here for me to talk. >> How old are you? >> Um, seven and a half years old. I'm seven and a half years old. >> I'm trying to ask you a question without >> No, I'm not. I'm not I can't leave my baby. >> Do what? >> Yesterday, my mom holded my holded her hands over my mouth and her and I couldn't. She said >> the child explains that her mother frequently insults her, tells her she is not loved, and makes threatening statements toward her. Officers move the child to a patrol car so they can speak with her privately and keep her calm. >> You're done breathing. And she's also trying to She said she doesn't love me. She said she hates me. She said she wants to me. She said I'm a b word. >> Oh my goodness. What's true? >> Okay. Hey, just talk to me. Okay. >> Oh my god. >> Has anything happened tonight? Has anything happened tonight? >> Uh-huh. >> What happened tonight? >> She said she doesn't love me. She hates me. >> Dylan, you want to take her to the to the unit so you can talk to her? >> No. Please. Please. >> Yes. He is taking her over there just to talk to her. Okay. To talk to her. Okay. >> Hey, my name's Dylan. Okay. >> That's what I'm talking. >> Dylan. Yeah. >> Please don't hit me. >> He's just going to talk to her. Okay. >> While officers speak with the girl, the mother continues reacting emotionally outside. Officers reassure her that the child is not being taken away and that they are only trying to understand what happened. >> Don't take my baby. >> We're not taking her anywhere. He is just coming to talk to her. That's why I wanted to step inside to be able to speak with you. >> Can you tell me what's going on? >> No, please don't tell me. >> He is not taking her. He is going to talk to her. It is cold. So, she's going to be right there. >> I know. I want her. >> So, what is happening? What What is happening now? >> She's a warrior. She just wants you. >> She wants YouTube. Okay. Has Who called 911? >> So, you didn't call 911? Okay. So, she did. She's four. Is she the only child that you have? >> Seven. Yes, sir. >> Okay. She's seven. >> Oh my god. You're taking my baby. We are not taking her. >> You just took She's sitting right there. Look, she's literally sitting. >> It's my baby. >> Okay. Like I said, we're here asking you questions. >> I'll leave you in. I leave. It's my baby. I just said Officer N. >> You just what? Here. Take a Have a seat. Just calm down. >> Officer Nash. >> Oh. In the patrol car, the child calmly repeats that her mother often calls her insulting names and says she wishes harm on her. She also says she feels safer going to stay with an aunt. >> Her and everything. I just said the police here I'm not a bad mom. >> Okay. What were they here for? >> I don't am I don't I swear I WORKED WITH THE CLICK ON WOLF SHELTER. She was going to be killed. Okay. I'm >> Can I put her in her room? >> Okay. Go put her in her room. Yeah, that's fine. >> I promise she will not hurt me. >> Okay. Just don't let her come out at me. >> No. No. No. No. That'll shoot me. >> No way. You're back. >> No, I can't cuz my baby's right there. I don't care. >> You want to sit in the front seat where it's a little warmer? >> Yeah. >> All right. Now that mom's not around, what you can open up to me. Okay. >> So, my mom I I don't say anything, but my mom randomly says you're um Would I be get in trouble if I say what she says to me? >> No, you be honest with me. You're not ever going to get in trouble with me. >> I don't want to be I don't want to say it, but she says I'm a um I'm >> You can say whatever. You're not going to get in trouble with me. It's okay. >> She says I'm okay. >> And I'm a liar and I'm not lying. She says she wants me and Kira. >> She said she wants her herself. And she said you're done. She said she hates me. She doesn't love me, that she never wanted me in this world. And I said, "What?" >> Hang on one second, ma'am. Okay. >> Could you get my dog, Bella? What kind of dog is it? >> Um, I don't actually know. It's like a brown kind of dog. Remember, when officers respond to calls involving minors, their first priority is ensuring the child's immediate safety and gathering information calmly. Resisting arrest or interfering with officers during an investigation can quickly lead to additional legal charges. This is the reaction of netzens to this situation. That officer did a great job staying calm and making the girl feel safe. It's heartbreaking hearing a young person talk about feeling unsafe at home. The situation escalated fast once the arrest started. The tension is already high, or so it seems. What the body cam captures next saves a life pause and comment what you do here. But what's going to happen to my baby? >> Prince Hall County Sheriff's Office. Nice to meet you. Tell them what's going on today. So, a couple months ago, we had a incident. This is her father-in-law. But a couple months ago, we had an accident at the house. Okay. Wow. >> It got it got physical and she's actively using. Okay. So, for about 4 years now, we've been, you know, been trying back and forth between detox centers and rehab to try to keep her clean. >> Okay. She's been actively using again last night. >> What's she using? >> Pills. I mean, you know, I don't really consider that kind of >> anything. I guess I don't I don't really know what all she uses. She was there's a list of them that that the detox center sent. I don't know. The main thing is is she's been getting physical. There's several occasions where she's done it since that incident. And I didn't report it. I did take pictures just in case. >> He describes the most recent incident after returning home. His wife allegedly attacked him again, climbing on him, scratching him, choking him, and hitting him in the head while their 11-month-old son was nearby. But I didn't think it was I thought she was going to stop. You know, it's gotten a little bit better and then she jumps to this crazy again. You know, 3 or 4:00 in the morning, climbing into bed, beating the out of me, calling me name, acting weird. Okay, so we actually went up there to get pay for two tickets at the courthouse this morning because he was an arrest. >> And as soon as we got back, he went to go downstairs and I went upstairs and she just climbs on me, starts beating the [ __ ] out of me again. My son's there and you know, of course, you know how that goes. She tries to start trying to use him as a shield. >> And I said, "Look, I it's not about me. It's not about you. It's about him. You know, he's 11 months old and he don't need to be in this no more." And it's, you know, basically what I tried to tell her is just to your family, right? >> And at this point, she don't care. So, we started to leave. As soon as we started to leave, I came out here to get in my truck. That's my vehicle, too. She drives it most of the time. And I'm >> The husband says his main concern is protecting the child from a chaotic and potentially dangerous environment. He tells officers that when he tried to leave the house with the baby, she pushed him and began shouting aggressively. >> Be honest with you guys, there is no telling where are because that's the type that I've been dealing with. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, nonetheless, I got popped and driving up here. As soon as he started to leave, she pushes him and starts hollering at him and being verbally abusive towards him, too. And >> nonetheless, all I want to do is just get my son away from her and away from the drugs because like I said, I used to drink a lot. I used to have problems drinking. I ain't drank in two years. I made a promise. And uh not just to my family, but to the Lord, too. So, you know, nonetheless, I I I was four years sober before I ever met her >> and she got me to drink a little bit and I stopped. And so now I'm two years sober drinking, never drugs, but just drinking. And nonetheless, it's just as much. It'll kill you just as easy. So, >> right, >> nonetheless, I stopped all that. And >> here we are. All I'm concerned about is just getting my son away from her. We both do live at the residence. I've been there for 7 years. All my stuff's there. All my other two kids stuff is there. >> So, you know, I'm not saying that that I need all my That's not what I'm saying. All I'm trying to say is I just want to get my son away from her cuz I know she's actively high and using it. Yeah. >> Would she want to fight us if we went over there? >> The last time that happened, she she wasn't very physical with them. She's probably not going to answer the door. No. So, technically, it's in the estate of her her mother and her grandmother. >> Okay. >> So, she technically I guess she would you would say she owns it. >> But now, like I said, I pay all of everything there and do everything. There's a lot of weapons at the house, but she she we have an active case open and she's out on bail or bond, whatever it's called >> to until this court this case goes to court, but like I think it's the 13th. >> Yeah. >> And so, nonetheless, yeah, there's a lot of weapons at the house, but I she's not like that. >> Deputies drive to the home and contact the woman by phone, asking her to come outside. She brings the baby with her and sits down to speak with officers. >> Yeah. I mean, that's knives. >> Yeah. Uh, what? >> I said guns, kn dives, bazookas, grenade launchers. What kind of stuff we talking about? >> Oh, I mean, there's I got all that locked up. Now, there's a couple pistols at the house that you But they're not out and about like that. They're all locked up. >> Yeah. >> So, last time she did the same thing. She definitely >> she just grabs a hold of me and starts choking me and then hits me in the back of the head and >> lift your neck up for me again >> need an ambulance or anything? >> No, no, no. We got to ask. >> Yeah. No, I I don't need an ambulance. Like I said, I ain't worried about anything other than myself. >> Yeah. So, run me back there. So, about when did all this the stuff today? >> 15 minutes ago. >> Okay. You had just come home and she just jumped on you or >> we we got home. So, as soon as we got home, we just got out the truck. >> Okay. >> Okay. The SUV there. got out the SUV. I come in the garage, okay? We come in the house. As soon as I come in the house, I open the bedroom door and I stand there talking to her. Last night, she transferred $2,300 out of my personal account into her own personal account. >> Okay. >> Okay. She's been talking about wanting to sit down and talk. And I told her I had no problem talking. >> Yeah. >> But she needed to send me that $2,300 back that she that was my money that she took without permission. >> Yeah. >> Out of my uh my account. And nonetheless, then that's when she started just going ape. Well, so >> Pop was downstairs getting his stuff cuz we were about to leave cuz we got a job we were going to go do. >> Yeah. >> As soon as I walked back from the boys' bedrooms. Yeah. >> She just come at me. As soon as I got out the house, you know, I mean, as soon as I come out the rooms, she just grabbed a hold of me, started scratching me and choking me and hitting me in the back of the head. And then she hit me in the face twice. I holler for Pop to come >> and do something, intervene with her. And then as soon as by the time Pop starts to come up the stairs, help. She's sitting there beating me at the top of the stairs. >> Yeah. >> And so at that point, I just told Pop it's time to leave. Yeah. >> So I just grabbed my boots and jumped in the truck. And >> is that blood from you or blood from >> She when she scratched me and cut me cuz I >> what I did is the same it's the same damn in same situation as last time. She come at me and I went to push back her shirt to push her back and that direct at the house that may have been prior to any any of this other going on. >> I'm sure. But nonetheless, you know, her brother does the exact same thing. Acts the exact same way. And in the same >> Where's her brother at? >> Where's he at? He ain't there. There ain't no telling. 28. >> I didn't know she may. She call him May. >> He's in worse shape that she in. He does the same, man. >> So, what we're going to do now, so we're going to ride over there, attempt to make contact. Y'all stay here, okay? You and her father stay here. When we get over there, everything gets done. We figure out what we need to figure out over there. We'll contact you back. >> The woman claims the husband is abusive and says he is trying to take her child away. She insists she did nothing wrong and accuses him of manipulating the situation. >> But just wait here, okay? Don't leave. Am I going to be able to get my son from her? >> I'm going to explain this. I'm going to explain to you right now. So, we're going to be going over there attempting to arrest her. Okay? And pretty much anything aside from her running off into the woods, we're going to we're going to place her under arrest cuz at this point, we have multiple felony charges. Okay? So, at that point, you'll be allowed to go back there. Um, she'll get additional bond conditions because she's already got some, but she'll get more bond conditions. She won't be allowed back at the house. If she wants to come get anything from the house, she'll have to coordinate through the sheriff's office, civil division. Okay. >> She will or I will. >> She will. You You stay in the house. You >> real quick, not to interrupt you. So, I I remember I know this house because the other day I was out there for the the next door neighbor's house on fire. >> I I was the one that pulled them out of the fire. >> Okay. So, those guys that we got out of that house are not at y'all's house. >> No, no, no, no, no, no. They are actually across the street at somebody else's house. Yes. Okay, cuz I know that was a heavy arsenal we pulled out. >> Well, and that that's what I was telling him. Now, I got but they're all locked up and there's no access for her. >> Hey, is this Stacy? >> Hello. >> Hey, Stacy. This is Deputy Francis with the Hall County Sheriff's Office. How you doing today? >> Um, well, I'm okay. How are you? >> I'm doing well. Hey, we just got a call about a possible issue that took place at the house. We just need to talk to you for a minute. Would you mind coming outside to speak with us? >> Yeah. One second. >> All right. Hey, >> I mean I know what's going on, but what were you guys? >> Yeah. So, well, that's I'm trying. >> Absolutely. Absolutely. >> I was trying to get my camera working. He disconnected all >> Yeah. So, just tell me. So, I want to hear your side of the story before we talk about what he told us. >> I just It's just he needs to leave and I just um >> So, but what what happened today? What what do you think happened here that would have prompted him to call us? Um, he he's just trying to take my baby from me and and he knows that since when I called the police last time, I'm the one that got arrested because I was not honest and I told him that he didn't put his hands on me. >> Based on the statements, injuries, and prior incidents, officers determine they have probable cause to arrest her. She is placed in handcuffs while repeatedly insisting that her husband fabricated the accusations. >> He told them evidently that that I did and so I went to jail. >> Okay. >> And so now he like holds that over my head. But really in a nutshell, he just needs to to get his stuff and move out. I am a reasonable person. He can get his I'm not going to mess with his stuff. I just I just want peace in my home for my baby. >> And who is who is this? >> Rick and my dad. And my >> No, no, no. I got to read through all of it. Having these rights in mind, do you wish to speak to them? >> I want to hear what you have to say. Yes. >> Okay. Um, seriously, so he he called us and he he told us what happened. >> What did he say? >> So, you told us about an argument that turned physical. Um, >> that he got physical with me. >> Well, so he he No, he mentioned that he got physical with you after you tried to choke him. And Well, then why does he have marks on his neck? >> I he jerked my necklace and tried to he tried to choke me out. And the only time he's ever had marks is when I try to push him off of me. I try to push him off of me. He hits me on the back of the head. So, well, what I'm trying to figure out is why he has marks that are consistent with being strangled. >> Because he does it to himself. I swear to you. And I've got cameras. That's why I had to hide cuz he damages all my I know it sounds like I'm a lunatic. >> Well, so it I'm not saying that you're crazy, but here's >> He does it to himself. >> So, right now, I I act on probable cause. Even if he's not dead, he acts as a father figure. >> And and her dad lives here. Who's grand? Who's maternal grandfather? >> Considering the circumstances. >> Yeah. Yeah. Like I said, of course, she started pulling out. Well, he does all that to himself. >> You saw what she was doing with the baby, right? Started to kind of >> Did dad write a witness statement for you? >> Yep. >> I appreciate y'all, man. I really >> No problem, my man. So, like I said, I explain to you those bond conditions how that works. >> Um, and then I explain to you that TPA. Okay? I can't force you to do it. There's no no consequence if you don't do it, >> but I would encourage you to seriously consider that. Okay? >> We got a case card for you here. This is going to be your current case number. Anyways, nonetheless, I got >> The woman continues denying wrongdoing and maintains that the husband is the abuser. Deputies transport her to jail for booking while the child remains with the father. >> So, you won't be allowed to bond. He won't be allowed to bond. So if she could find somebody else to do it, >> she will be back out here. >> Okay. Now, let me ask yall a question. So her brother, okay, I know she going to call him now. This motherucker is wild. >> What's his name? >> Scott Strickland. I'm telling you now. This mother, it'll be a handful for all four of us. All five all six of us. >> We got to do. >> So if he shows up here and starts causing issues, >> TPO out on him. Step on the yellow foot. >> The woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple battery cruelty to children, and exploitation of a disabled or elderly person. Remember, domestic violence investigations often rely on visible injuries, witness statements, and prior incidents to establish probable cause. When a child is present during a violent dispute, officers prioritize the child's immediate safety and may pursue additional charges related to child endangerment. This is the reaction of netzens to the situation. Regardless of who started it, that baby shouldn't be around this kind of chaos. The officers stayed calm and focused on protecting the child first. This situation shows how complicated domestic disputes can be when both sides accuse each other. Everyone thought it was too late until the body cam shows the exact second officer step in. Did you predict that rescue? The next incident is when police save family from a stepmother too toxic to care for them. >> The kids got in the middle of the altercation. I am bruised up. >> She came after me and her and it was he had to defend his kids. >> We're engaged. He threw my ring tonight. He was at the strip club. >> She broke my dad's phone. >> On September 23rd, 2024 deputies from the St. John's County Sheriff's Office respond to a residence after reports of a violent domestic dispute between a couple >> didn't hit him. It hit the thing. Um, I went >> Sheriff's office in there. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Okay. Can you guys step out for me? >> Sheriff's office right here. >> I explain the situation. Defended himself. We have the video evidence. I have marks on me from her. >> Okay. Where's she at? >> She is inside. I have people on the way for them. >> Hello. >> We have videos. >> Would you like to see my face? >> What's going on? >> Um, so my fiance is drunk. He came home from the bar. He's been aggressive. Hold on. We were arguing. The kids got in the middle of the altercation. I am bruised up. He threw a a chair at my face. >> Baby, I'm not aggressive. >> He's broke my face, too. I I would have had pictures to show you. Did you guys I'm I'm fine. I just had a cigarette, please. >> Do you guys have any weapons on you? >> All right, sir. Can you go ahead and sit down for me? >> Yeah. >> May I go grab a cigarette? I'm not trying to argue. >> Look, I didn't do nothing, baby. >> Okay, just go ahead and sit down for me. >> The man and other witnesses, including a teenager in the home, tell a different story. They claimed the woman had been aggressive throughout the day, hitting him repeatedly, throwing drinks and damaging property. >> Would you like me to show you everything? Do you have your ID on you? >> Yeah. Inside. >> Do you guys need fire rescue or anything? Do you know? >> Okay. >> Sir, do you do you need the ambulance? >> Me? >> Yeah. >> No. Nobody seriously [ __ ] >> Do you have a video of anything? >> Kyla videos. >> She's been aggressive all day long. >> My forearms are swollen. There's scratches. I've gotten hit in the stomach multiple times by her. What happened tonight is they started arguing. She's hit him in the face multiple times. I didn't I didn't I tried my best to stay away from her and >> and then she came after him after she came after me and her and it was he had to defend his kids and himself. >> Thank you. Can you 1066 fire rescue? >> Okay. >> All right. Um let me go ahead and talk to you first over here on the side. Okay. >> I don't want him arrested. >> Are you guys married? >> We're engaged. He threw my ring tonight. He was at the strip club. >> Go ahead and tell me what happened. Um, so we've been arguing because he was not he we've had an altercation since last week. >> Um, we've had disagreements. He's not supposed club. >> When questioned, the woman admits she threw a candle and broke the man's phone because she felt disrespected after discovering he had been at the strip club. She also acknowledges throwing drinks at him during the argument. >> He was at the strip club all day drinking. My friend runs the strip club. She said he wasn't supposed to be driving home. >> I called him. He drove home. It's just been a fight ever since. >> St. John's. >> We've been arguing. I got a chair thrown at me. >> And what what happened today? What started it? >> Um, so what started it was him being at a strip club. He told me it was he was on the way home. He wasn't on the way home. He was sitting up there drinking. That's been a problem. >> Um, we were arguing about it. >> Can you stand right here for me? >> Yeah. >> Just so I can keep an eye on both of you guys. >> Yeah. No. >> All right. So, you you were arguing again? >> We were arguing. The kids were getting in the middle of it. Um, I told them to leave us alone. While we were arguing, I went and took a shower. We had gotten into an altercation. I took a shower. He broke my phone. In the middle of that, um, when I went back outside, that's when we were arguing again. I told him I was done with the [ __ ] cuz tired of feeling disrespected. >> Okay. Come closer to me. >> Look at her record. >> All right. Can you come here for me? Really, Derek? >> Yeah. All you got to do is look at her record. just again just so we can be more private. Um, so it happened. You guys were arguing. You went to a strip club or >> just talk to me. >> So, does he bite? >> Can you grab her by color for a second, please? >> Harley, I felt disrespected. >> So, you guys were arguing? Yes. I'm trying to see what happened today. Okay. You guys were arguing. You went to go to the bathroom. Nothing happened. >> I was in the shower. Um, no, we were arguing before that. We had some correspondence. I threw a candle. >> Okay. >> It didn't hit him. It hit the thing. Um I went and took a timeout. Went and got in the shower while I was in the shower. He came in there and broke my phone. We got into an altercation. I came out of the shower. I said, >> "I'm going to call the police if you start." So then he threw a chair at me. The chair hit me. >> Um before she got in the bath, she broke my dad's phone. >> I did. >> Threw it on the ground. >> I did. It's It's not shattered like mine. >> Actually, yeah, it is. So, the phone said my name. >> Witnesses, including the man's teenage child, report that the woman repeatedly hit the man in the face and stomach and continued confronting him even after he tried to leave with the children to calm the situation. >> You guys touch each other then? >> Yes. I pushed him because I was like, "Why are you breaking my phone at this point? I'm in the shower. I'm leaving you alone. I want to leave." >> Okay. So when you threw his phone first, did he push you at all? Did he touch you? >> Okay. So he touched you when you threw his phone. So before him that did you guys touch each other then? Did you guys physically hit each other or anything? >> Okay. So he hit you first. How did he hit you? With what hand? How did he hit you? >> He pushed me first. I I don't want to press charges. I do love him. He >> Well, it's not it's not about pressing charges at this point, ma'am. It's the fact that we got called out here for a reason. and we want to make sure that you guys are all right. You're bleeding. Okay. So, I need to make sure that I understand the story. And he pushed you with both hands or how did he push you? >> I I fell over the table first and then I fell over a chair. >> Okay. So, you were outside of the bath in the middle of bath. >> Um, I believe so. It happened so fast. >> You were still naked. >> Okay. So, he pushed you over a table or something. And then what did you do after that? How did you react >> after the altercation? So when he shattered my phone, I finished my shower, took a timeout, and went and smoked a cigarette out back. >> So you didn't push him back when he pushed you first? >> I I did when we were arguing, but then I was just like, I'm going to take a time out. I'm going to finish my shower. >> He left. I was sitting outside. We >> How long did he leave for? >> 10, 15 minutes. And then got food >> with all the kids? >> Yeah. I told him he need to bring my child back. >> How long have you guys been together? >> Um almost 2 years. Hi. Was it your phone first or his room? Both? >> Um, it was his phone first. He I have two phones. He shattered both of them. >> So, he shattered both of them and then you pushed >> I tried I tried to call my girlfriend Ava to see if I could go stay with her. >> Yeah. So, you pushed him? >> Um, whenever he grabbed my phone the second time. Yeah. I told him. I was like, I'm trying to leave. And then he threw the chair at my face. >> Okay. He threw the chair at your face before you went back into the bathroom. >> This was after. This was when it was on the porch instead of it. It was like a 15minute timeout where I was staying by myself. >> He came back and you were outside. >> I was sitting outside. He said um that I contacted my ex. Didn't contact my ex. I said I contacted Ava. I wanted to leave and he got started getting off. Deputies examine visible injuries on both sides and review statements from everyone present. Based on the accounts and evidence, they identify the woman as the primary aggressor in the incident. >> Threw a chair at me. That's when I got the chair to >> So he took he threw two chairs at you? >> One, I think one or two. I'm not sure. >> Okay. Okay. No, cuz you said earlier he had >> I know the metal chair hit me in the face. >> Okay. No, I see I see some swelling and stuff. So, he threw the chair one time or two times at you? I >> I'm not sure to be honest with you. I I don't want to fabricate the situation. >> Yeah. Are you willing to do everything on a sworn statement? I >> I don't want to put him in jail. >> Well, it's not up to you or your sworn statement. It's up to us. So, your sworn statement is just basically stating that everything that you're telling me is the truth and the whole truth. >> I do not want him going to jail. >> Okay. >> I'd rather have a timeout if that's okay. >> Yeah. You were outside in the back. Did you fall at all? I know you have some grass and stuff on you. When did you fall? When you threw the chair or when? >> Yeah, when I was trying to get up. >> Okay. So, when he threw the chair, when did you fall? >> Um, there were like two incidents. >> Okay. Two incidents that you >> Please don't take him to jail. >> Well, like I said, it's not up to you guys. It's We came here for a purpose. They called us. We just want to make sure that you guys are okay. >> I'm fine. >> Okay. But you're bleeding. >> I'm fine. So >> JF, I'm trying not to put on the jail. >> Ma'am, can you can you just talk to me? I don't want to escalate anything. He's telling his side and I just want to make sure that I got the story right. You were on the floor. Did he ever punch you or did you punch him back? >> Not that I'm aware of. >> Okay. All right. Um, let me get your best contact information. >> I don't even have a phone now. So, >> do you have my email? >> Yeah. Give me your side of the story. Derek was up at the bar cuz that's where he works, right? He does air conditioning, HVAC, everything. >> Okay. >> And he was sitting up there. He had a business offer. He was sitting with one of his buddies. He had two, three beers. He wasn't anything over the legal limit. >> Yeah. >> He was good. >> Came home. She thought he'd been >> He she walked out, shoved him out. Yeah. >> She came out there, roughing him around. He She hit him in the face three or four times. >> Is that the first time that she hit him? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, she hit him first. How did she hit him? >> Push him back in a chair. Yep. And she's thrown glasses. There's glass all back there. >> All back there. >> And she pushed So she pushed him. Why did They were arguing verbally. >> Yes. >> And then she pushed him first. Were they outside first? >> They were outside. >> They were outside and then I went out there so just in case anything happened because like >> I'm a big guy. I'm big for my age. How old are you? I'm 14. >> Okay. And how old are you? >> 14. >> Okay. the >> As officers move to detain her, she becomes increasingly emotional and attempts to take medication from her pocket despite instructions to stop. She said, "I hope you >> don't ever come to me to ever take care of >> that's where he wants." >> You want to lie to me? You want to lie about me? >> That's what you want. Take a breath. >> All right. >> The woman was arrested and charged with battery cruelty toward a child and resisting an officer. Remember domestic disputes often involve conflicting accounts. So, officers must rely on physical evidence, witness statements, and observed behavior to determine the primary aggressor. When children are present during violent incidents, law enforcement may add additional charges to address the risk to their safety. This is the reaction of netzens to this situation. Situations like this show how arguments can spiral out of control when emotions take over. The officers stayed patient even when the stories kept changing. It's good the kids were separated from the conflict before it got worse. You think this call can't get worse? The body cam captures the exact second officers rush in comment if you felt that spike. The next incident is when police save elderly man from his extremely controlling wife. >> She had me trapped in the bathroom. She claims she was trying to protect her husband from outside threats and insists that he is under medical care and needs protection. >> I can't I'm scared to be here with her to go to US Army and be informed of what's going on. He was shot and almost killed by a drug dealer. He's in so much trauma and needs your help. >> Ma'am, >> I need to go sit down. I'm tired from surgery. Okay. He cannot leave here. >> Right. >> She wouldn't let him leave. He locked me in here. >> Did you try Answer my question, please. Did you try to grab it in >> He wouldn't let me talk. He didn't know what was happening. He is in the hospital under sedation. Check the phone if you don't believe. I need to check the phone. >> He is a protective witness that was being hurt by a drug dealer. I'm not there anymore. Okay. >> You have to protect your officer. He was so severely hurt. I picked him up and set him in the hospital. He is in there. That is why he doesn't understand. Did you try to take the phone away from him today? >> He wouldn't let me talk >> because >> after the arrest, officers speak further with the husband who explains that the arguments have been ongoing and expresses concern for his safety if the situation continues. >> Make sure you have it. Okay. >> I need a hat. I need my maca. >> Where's that? >> It is in there. >> This one? >> Uh, no. There. I think it's there. I want that on my head. >> Right here. >> This? >> Yes, it was. We're going to get booked in for domestic assault. Um, I'll also try to obtain a charge for preventing you from calling 911. That's against the law. You can't prevent somebody from calling 911. Um, most likely after that, a protective order will be issued. I'll come back here and serve you and I'll serve her at the jail. Uh, it just pretty much grants either you the residence or like no further acts of contact. But it sounds like, you know, if she came back here later on, it's just gonna start up again. >> Yeah. Remember, domestic violence can occur in any relationship, including among elderly couples, and victims may hesitate to seek help until situations escalate. Law enforcement officers must carefully assess statements, physical evidence, and behavior to determine who the primary aggressor is. This is the reaction of netisens to this situation. It's sad to see situations like this where someone clearly needs professional help. The officers stayed calm and patient even though the situation was confusing. I'm glad the man was able to get help before things became more dangerous. What do you think about these situations?
