I'll beat you. >> What cause you to be afraid of her? >> Because she killed me. >> You racist resist. >> No, ma'am. >> I want TO GO SEE MY SON. >> AT FIRST, it looked like a routine call, but inside the house, something felt off. The more officers observed, the more it became clear that this home was hiding disturbing secrets no one had mentioned. >> You just don't know what actually hit him. >> Was it doesn't have to. They were here visiting and nobody has. >> This is when hero cops walked into a house filled with disturbing secrets. Here is law zone where features real police body cam footage documenting how officers handle tense and unpredictable situations as they happen. The first incident is that 14-year-old's 911 call saves her from an extremely toxic mother. >> No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Please. She jumped on top of me when I was kicking her. I hate you. I can't believe you do this to me. I set a fire in my dad's house. She put a hole in the wall and was laughing about it and so I slapped her. Dad's taking full custody on. >> On October 6th, 2024, officers responded to a residence following a report of a young family member claiming her mother acted aggressively toward her after an argument that ended with a hole in the wall. >> We're transported this morning and >> whatever she wants is fine. >> All right. So, what's going on? Um, can I get >> dogs? Come on. Oh, God. >> Chance. No. >> Please, please, please. >> Okay. >> Please. >> So, what's going on? >> She No, no, no, no, no, no. Please. >> What's happening? >> I put a I put a hole in her roll and then she jumped on top of me. So, I was kicking her and I was trying to get off. >> You did kick me. >> I did. I just said I get you. >> So, what what's your name? >> Doc. >> Do you need any kind of medical attention? >> I don't know. >> All right. You said what's your first name? >> Addison. >> You put a hole in the wall. >> I did. >> How did you do it? >> I got mad. She knows I I get mad. And I never put a hole in her wall before, but I did say cuz she was getting on to me and I shouldn't have put a hole in her wall, but I did. >> And then after you put the hole in the wall, what happened? She ran towards me and then when she was on top of me and hitting me a few times, I started kicking her and she held me down and she kept hitting me and I was screaming for my brother Caleb, but he was asleep and couldn't hear me and she locked the door. >> I'm going to have you stand up. Okay. Okay. >> Was it just she punched you in the face? >> Yes. >> I don't know what she did. This is just the outcome. I wasn't really looking. I was holding my vase. >> Okay. >> All right. We're going to figure it out. And you tried yelling out for your brother. I did. The caller explains she attempted to call for help from a sibling and later moved to another room to create distance from the situation. >> And then after she told me to get out, I ran to his room and locked the door and told me to hide in the closet. >> She locked you all in the room. >> I locked myself in the room. >> No, I mean whenever you started calling out, you said she locked the door. >> Yes, you did. You said the door was locked. Stop lying. >> Okay. All right. Just talk to me, >> Addison. Just talk to me. I locked the door in Caleb's room and you locked it in our room. >> Just talk to me for now. >> I can't do this. I can't do this. I can't do this. >> I hate you. I can't believe you do this to me. You promised me you would never do this to me. You promised you wouldn't be like your dad. And you did. >> Are you on house arrest or what? >> I've been in mental hospitals all year. I'm in and out for ladies and running away and getting burner phones and sending and all this stuff and I and arson. I set a fire on my dad's house. That's when I just got in there for and I just got out. >> Okay. All right. Come on. >> No, no, no. >> Addison, come here. We're going to step over to the ambulance. Okay. Come on. Step over to the ambulance. >> All right. Is there somewhere quiet I can get? >> Really? So tell me exactly what happened. >> She got angry. She didn't get fit like she usually does. She's put >> The parent tells officers the dispute began after the wall damage on the wall. We've been dealing with her for several years. She's sociopathic. She has no consequences for her actions at all. Was proud of herself setting a fire and away. >> Okay. What about today? That's what I need. Today she set me off because she put a hole in the wall and was laughing about it and so I slapped her and then she proceeded to fight me back and I fought her back. >> Are you injured anywhere, dear? >> I'll be fine. >> You sure you don't want to be checked out or anything? >> No, I mean I'm nauseous from where she kicked me in the stomach but I don't think I have a bruise or anything. And her right eye, she's had a black eye since she left the facility. >> So she just got out of the facility facility and had a black eye on her right eye. >> Do you want her transported this morning and >> whatever she wants is fine with me. >> Okay. So, dad's supposed to take custody of her? >> Yeah, dad's taking full custody. I'm done. >> He's on his way here. >> Yeah, he's 5 minutes from here and he's already on his way. >> We can wait. >> Officers continue interviewing the parent who states the caller has ongoing behavioral and mental health challenges and had recently left a treatment facility. >> No, she didn't. She kicked me in the face, but I don't think I got I don't know. I haven't I've been >> Did you have makeup on previously? Is that >> I do? Yeah. Is that your son? >> Yeah. >> Where was he at? >> In his bedroom. >> Does she have any medical history? Like does she take any medicine? >> Yeah, she's she's she has a lot of psychiatric problems. >> Okay. Do you think that's what caused everything today? >> Probably. >> Probably. >> It's what's caused everything else. So, >> okay. >> What she diagnosed with? >> So, she she's a sociopath and she's got bipolar type two and she has anxiety, depression, ADD, and insomnia. >> She on meds? >> Yes. >> When was the last time she took a meds? I don't know if she took her morning meds this morning. >> Okay. >> But it was last night if it wasn't this morning. >> But she does take them. >> She takes her meds. >> Okay. >> How old is she? >> She's 16. >> Oh. >> Oh, yeah. I'll be back in here. You were asleep, aren't you? >> Oh, yes, sir. >> Okay. >> When I was inside and mom was given a report. Mom said that she already had a black eye on the right side from leaving the facility. >> Deputies speak with another family member and review visible conditions. >> Dad just said that was not there yesterday. >> Oh crap. That's That's fresh. Nose is bleeding, too. >> That don't look like that just happened yesterday. That look like That's fresh. Fresh to my opinion, but >> Well, I mean, dad just confirmed that that wasn't there yesterday. Mom, have anything? >> Um, her eyes. It looks like she's I asked her if she had makeup on. It's not swollen. It looks darker up than her both eyes, but I asked her if she had makeup on cuz I could see it dripping down and she said yes. >> What's the mom and dad? They married together? >> No. >> Separated? >> Yes. >> So, he doesn't live here? >> No. >> Sir, are you dad? Yes, I'm down. >> Can you step out and talk with the deputies out here? >> Yeah, one second. >> Okay. >> What kind of relationship do you and mom have? >> It's always been amicable until the past week and all of a sudden she's had a trip out. I don't know why I'm being asked for >> and it's apparently something for the guy she's dating is not going well. Something I got this morning, but I don't. >> She's got mental health issues, too. I mean, she's bipolar. And >> so, do you still have custody of >> We're 50/50. >> What about Son? Is that your >> same thing? >> Okay. >> All right. today. Are you going to be able to take them? >> Yes, >> I've got them. And she's already said she'll give me full custody now, so we'll deal with that after the fact. But yes, I I'll take them. >> I guess my question is, when was the last time you seen Addison? >> Yesterday in the car. She was out like this. >> The caller's father arrives and speaks with officers about custody arrangements and the caller's condition prior to the incident. >> Okay. About what time was that? >> Noon. >> Noon. So about 12:00. >> Yes. I just saw she was sitting in the car, but I would have noticed. You'll just write from once you saw your daughter yesterday until you came out here today. Basically, the main thing I need to know is her eye condition. >> Hey, Caleb, let's be clear. Mom hasn't fooled you to say anything. Nothing like that, right? >> She hasn't uh said for me to say or don't say. >> Okay. So, what what all did you catch? What did you see here? >> So, Addy woke me up, told me to call her more mom, so I did. She told me to hide in the closet. So, I did. Now, her mom uh come to the door and um you know, she was still, you know, mad at her and he just said um just open the door and um and I came in there and I just uh opened the closet door. >> She got in like your sister got in the closet with you. >> Uh no, my mom got in the my room because I >> So, so Addison went into the closet. You came out? >> No, I went into the closet and he was still out of the closet. I came out the closet, unlocked the door, and then mom came in and then she said, "Go to your room." And she wouldn't. She just um you know, like yell at her a couple times, just spanked her a little bit. >> What do you mean spank her? >> Like a little bit. And then she told her to go in the room and then she left and then she got in the room. So yeah, that's what happened. That's all I know. >> When was the last time you saw your sister? >> Yesterday. >> What did she look like? What did her face look like? Did she have any bruises? I think she had like a black eye. >> He thinks she had a black eye yesterday. >> Yeah. But now that could have been >> That's what I'm saying. >> Cohor, >> I was think my brain's all thrown off, but yeah, she was with Patty was with me on Friday. >> Deputies document injuries, continue interviews with all parties, and determine probable cause before placing the parent under arrest. >> And she did not have that. She did not look like that. >> Friday. >> Yes. So Friday cuz she was we had to get her ankle monitor placed >> right >> on Friday. So she was with me all morning. >> He tried to talk to your son but I think your ex-wife done got hooked to him because when he walked there they were sitting down together talking. So he tried now he's saying that there was a black eye there yesterday. So did Addison call you once everything happened? >> Felicia called me this morning. She just called me 10 minutes ago and said come get her. This just happened. I hit her. I slapped her again. I slapped slapped her again. What happened? She said, "Just come get her." >> She's been meeting off one of her meds. I don't know which one, but she has bipolar. She has depression, anxiety, and a lot of other things. And so do I. And I just got out of my mental hospital for setting a fire. And I had one more chance and then I go to Judy. And I don't know what I'm going to do right now, but I put a hole in her wall >> and she said, "You're acting just like your father." And my father's been hurting here a lot. And so I punched the wall and I said, "Never say that again." She said, "I'll say it if it's true." And then I was on the floor after she kept beating me and I was kicking whatever I could kick. I don't know if I kicked her. She said I did. I don't know. I just I was kicking whatever I could. This isn't the first time this has happened. This is the second time. Her boyfriend broke up with her last night. So I slept in her room with her to make sure she was going to be okay >> last night. Okay. >> This happened this morning. And as soon as it happened, she was like, "If you walk out that door, then I'll send you back to your dad's back to my dad's." And so I felt so scared. I didn't know what to do. So I went I ran to Caleb's room and I told him to hide in his closet and I grabbed his phone. I'm not allowed to have a phone. So I used his phone. I called 911. And she's lying saying that all of this was here yesterday when all of this is still crashed. She did it today. She said she slapped me, but that doesn't make sense. She didn't slap me. This wasn't as the outcome of a slap. Why was she saying that you were acting like your dad? What were you doing that made her? Cuz >> Apparently, I didn't want to be around her even though I was around her all day. And then I said, she was like, "I'm sorry I'm going through my struggles." I'm like, "I've just been in and out of mental hospitals all year and I'm going through, too." >> How's the relationship with mom and dad? >> He hasn't really done something like this ever. He's narcissistic. >> So, with mom and dad, like, are they okay? >> They're divorced. They've been in a big argument recently. >> How recent was that? >> Like constantly. Now, presently, >> oh, they're still at odds with one another. Okay, >> they're still in argument. I will tell the truth, but she says I punched her. I never punched her. I kicked her cuz I was kicking. I was frantic. I was trying to kick whatever I didn't do. But no one ever believes me at anything. That's why I'm trying so hard. No one believes me about my dad cuz he isn't doing anything like this to me. But I can't even live with him. I can't be with him. >> And why is it that you can't go with your dad? >> I don't trust you around. >> He's way over there. >> I don't trust him. He's very narcissistic. Like he only cares about himself and he threatens to take us away from him all the time. Even before she did this, he just wants us to himself and he'll do anything to happen. >> Hey Edison, when you were in the room with mom and the incident was going on and you're saying that she you >> I don't know what she trying to her hand was right here. >> Okay. >> And it seemed like she was trying to close my mouth or she was trying I don't know what she was trying to do. >> Were you on your back on your side? You were laying out on your side >> on my back and then I could turn to my side and I looked on my back like the whole time it was just switching off and on. >> Okay. So, were you able to say anything when she had her hand? I didn't get off. >> Did she say anything the entire time this was going on? What was she saying? >> She was saying stuff like, "If you, you know, walk out that door, I'm setting you back to your dad." And she really didn't want to go back there. >> Or she was like, "I said get off of me." And she says, "No." And she says some other things I can't remember. I know she said other things cuz it hurt me really bad. >> Okay. Everything occurred in mom's room. >> Where's your mom's room? >> Right in there. >> Yeah. Everything happened in here. >> And blood. >> She said her mom is on meds as well. >> She did not say that. >> She said she's by schizophrenic. She just got off her meds and she just had a breakup with a a new boyfriend last night. >> Okay. Yeah. Dad said it was a rocky relationship. He wasn't sure what was going on with the mom and her new boyfriend. If we can step outside and talk is Can you step outside? >> Yeah, absolutely. I wasn't I'm supposed to stay in. So, >> it's okay. She's She's in the ambulance, so it's Y'all are separated. >> So, right now, you're going to be under arrest for battery friendly balance. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. So, I'm going to go ahead and tuck the line back. >> Can I put a bra in or no? >> Can you what >> bra? Like, can I wear a bra to the facility or >> um shoes or no? >> You're not going to need that. You don't have to take it off. I'll transport. >> You will? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> You're going to have to take that off and undress and into some other clothes anyway. >> All right. >> You don't have any weapons on you or anything like that? >> No. >> Nothing in your waistband. >> Okay. All right. You can have a seat. >> Right now, her charges is battery from my understanding. Family eyes because obviously her eye, your daughter's eye, I mean, that's and nose >> that is um pretty swollen and red and bleeding and stuff like that. So, we we can't turn a blind eye to that. We did not do the arrest in front of your son. I took him upstairs and talked with him. They brought her outside that way. He didn't see that part. >> I haven't told him that. Mommy got >> Yes, I put that in your hands. But if you want to go in there, tell him to grab some clothes cuz he's used to coming over your house. >> He's got everything in my house. >> Yeah. So, if you want to tell him to grab some shoes and that you'll be coming with him for a minute and that way you can tell him about mommy because uh Yeah. >> Hey, he got some injuries to your scalp. Apparently, I didn't know where. >> Okay, I'mma just take a look. >> That's really pretty. It's just over there. It honestly like I could see a lot of that uh rug rash and throughout her scalp and that bruising. But when I saw that, I thought it was it looked like a dog bite or something or something at her. But she said her mom has nails and brains don't like nails like mine. So that would make sense if that's what it is cuz it looks like something like her. >> Do you believe it's fresh? To me it looks almost like it's forming to be scabbed over a little. >> What on her head? Not the ear. The ear looks fresh. >> Yeah. I mean it's scabbing over a little bit, but it was bleeding still whenever. >> Okay. You were saying it was bleeding when you got Okay. >> The parent was arrested and charged with battery related to the physical confrontation described during the investigation. Remember, calling emergency services can help bring immediate attention and assistance when a household conflict escalates. The body cam catches a split-second decision that changes everything. Comment if you saw it coming. The next incident is when mom arrested after busting her 15-year-old son's lip during a fight. >> Can I Can I >> listen? It's here. Here. Walk with me right here. >> Jesus. >> On December 18th, 2023, officers responded to a 911 call from a mother reporting a confrontation with her 15-year-old son. after an argument about food and a mess in the home. >> You just don't know what actually hit him. Was it that What's on? >> Oh, you can come in. >> It's okay. You could. >> Um, my son, I went to do Spark to get some food to cook. It's kind of late, but whatever. >> He destroyed my He done put my clothes that was on the couch and destroyed my kitchen. All I asked him to do is come downstairs and get it together. He had a whole fisty fit talking about, "Oh, ain't never been no food in this house." Um, I should cuz I did. I'm not going to lie. Cuz I went up there to try to get him >> and we was tussling. He said, "I should have killed you that she heard him on the thing." Everything. >> So, you went up there to try to What? Like, did anything Did you guys >> tussled? What is that? Can you elaborate? >> Like, you know, like how you tussle with your child? Yeah. >> Okay. So, >> she tells officers she attempted to block him during the attempts and denies intentionally causing anything. >> Like he didn't like there's no like punching or hitting or anything like >> No, he got a bus slip up. I don't know how he got a bus slip cuz I didn't hit him. I tried to. >> Okay. What's your first name? >> J A. >> So, you wanted him to come downstairs to what? He was He was complaining about You guys were arguing over the He's saying there's no food in the house. You told him to come downstairs. >> I can't clean up the mess so I could cook cuz he destroyed my kitchen. And then you went upstairs and then tell me exactly what happened when you went you went to a >> I told him to come on. He told me I'm not going no [ __ ] way. That's how I started. I went >> and what you do at that time? >> I did. I went and grabbed the pot. I ain't going to lie. What pot? >> A little pot. >> And then you hit him with it? >> I tried to. He didn't. He blocked it. >> So you didn't hit him with it? >> Mm-m. >> Okay. So, >> but I did get the broom and the boom went through the wall cuz we like I said, we was tussling. >> So, did you hit him with anything? >> No. >> Did he hit you with anything? >> No. >> Well, he pushed me back. >> So, you just attempted to hit him and you missed? >> Yeah, he he blocked me. >> Okay. So, and you said he has a bus lit, but you don't know how he got it back. >> No, cuz he was in the um garage. He was slamming the door and I was trying to cuz he was cussing me out in the garage. Mhm. >> And so I was trying to get in the garage, but he was >> The son leaves the residence before officers arrive and runs to a nearby house belonging to someone known through their church community. >> Was on the garage door. So I did push the garage. He probably got it from there when I was pushing the garage door. >> And what were you pushing the garage door for? >> To get in there. >> And he was just holding it closed. >> Yeah, holding it closed. >> What's his Can you spell his name for me? We went to >> Yeah, I'm going to call her now to see if he don't >> Can you Yeah. do that for us, please. >> Who's house? >> He's at Shandi. One of the um church members houses. Is Josiah there? >> Yeah, he's there. Oh, girl. He to my house and we got into altercation. So, I called the police. Yeah. So, they want to know is he there? He's He's He's there. All right. >> Um, meet you stay. Stay with her. We're going to go to 1200 North. >> Hello. >> He literally I'm trying to find him, too. >> He ran. >> He's running away from the house. >> We're 97 in the house. The uh juvenile just ran out and backward trying to get a direction of travel now. >> And and when he came here, was he with you talking to you or you saw him? >> Yeah, he was talking to me. >> And how was he was okay? How was he? >> He was fine. He was just >> officers speak with people at the nearby home who report the teenager briefly came there and appeared upset before running away again. >> He was just trying to explain his side of the story. >> Okay. Was he like super upset? Did he look like >> He was a little upset. >> Okay. Did he look Did he have any Was he hurt? >> No. >> He had nothing. You didn't see any injuries on him? >> No. >> Nothing. Okay. And how often do you like how do you guys know each other? >> Oh, we go to the same church. >> Okay. And so you guys do see him around and you guys know him a lot. >> Yeah. Okay. >> All right. Where did he go out of? He ran out this way cuz you show me. >> Yeah. >> He just ran that way. Yes. >> I just don't understand how he could have ran this way cuz we came from there. >> Did you see him jump that fence? >> That's what I was saying. That's what I told the other cop. I was like, "This is >> I just Yeah, because it's just like we we came here." >> Yeah. I was like >> that's Thank you. >> Okay. All right. Making sure he can't be hiding anywhere over here. I mean, did did he look like Did he think he was in trouble? >> He did? >> Yes. >> Why would he have been in trouble? What did he say to you when he was with you guys? How do he How did he look? >> I really didn't look at him. Officers continue searching the area and question the mother further while documenting the situation and entering the teen as a runaway in the system. >> Saying, "Do he look hurt? Do he look >> no injured? Did he have any injuries?" No. >> Was he upset? >> His lip a little bit, but that was about it. >> Just lip you said. And then what did he say to you guys? >> I didn't really hear anything from you. >> He just came in there quietly or >> they I was in my room. He came to them. >> All right. I know where it was. All right, we're going to keep looking. All right, just >> I'm going stay outside. >> No, no, we're still looking for him. >> All right, just stay with her cuz she's not free to go right now. >> She looks like the primary aggressor and whatever's happening here. >> Ma'am, would you content us searching your house to make sure he's not in there? >> Okay. Hush. Come here. Come here. Come here. Go ahead. >> You said we're able to. >> Yeah. Go ahead. >> Okay. Thank you. Just stay with the car is coming right now. Half of his friends that only friend I know is that one that stay across the street and he's a good boy. He don't get into none of everybody else. I don't know. >> Well, good or not, do you think they'd let him in the house? >> I can go over there and ask. >> No, we can. I don't want you going over there right now. >> Which one is this house with the van? >> Yeah, with the van. His name is Jonathan. Right. >> All right. So, we're going to put him in the system as a runaway juvenile right now >> so that if any other officer or anybody goes out with him and they run his name, >> uh, it'll pop back. It'll pop up. And, um, >> what should I do if he should return? Call y'all. >> Well, if he returns, call us. >> Okay. >> And if they're located, I'll put all I have all your information. So, I'll have this address and your phone number and everything under that. So, they'll they'll have your 14. >> Okay. >> All right. >> All right. >> All right. >> Thank you. >> Your information. >> 13 area 4 Kyle Way. number four Kyle way cause a white male green hoodie outside walking around with a signal zero rifle still like >> the officers were called back about 20 minutes later after the boy magically returned home. >> He explains the argument began after he became upset about food in the house and admits he created a mess before the confrontation. >> Dude, you didn't have to run. You having trouble? >> Mhm. >> What you got going on? You all right? >> Mhm. Let me see your face. Are you hurt? >> Yeah. Lip. >> What happened to you? So, basically, it was no fun in the house for a couple days. So, I got hot. >> Mhm. >> So, I triggered something triggered it. I don't know what triggered it. It just triggered. >> You just got pissed off. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Anyway, >> so after 1065 >> So after I got pissed off, >> I went downstairs and I threw the clothes on the floor from her ex-boyfriend just on the floor. I could have just picked that up and sat upstairs and went until she got home. Uh-huh. >> And then she got home, she was yelling, saying, "Oh, why her house messed up? Why it's looking like this?" And then she came upstairs. She She said, "Oh, I'm tired." And [ __ ] And she tried to go grab a pot and try to hit me with that, babe. >> So, she tried to hit you with a pot. She came up to your room and tried to hit you with a pot. >> And what happened? How'd you dodge it? Like, tell me what happened with that. >> I grabbed the pot and then she pushed me up pushed me up against the wall. That's where a hole right there at the hallway at the end of the hallway. I'm sitting up sitting. >> So she pushed you up against the How How was her hands on your body? >> Like like this like her forearm >> like if like if if I was like like that on you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> So she had me like that. Just stop talking to me, Miller, before you get your kicked in the Hope you don't never got kids. If you got some, I hope they hope they get stuff, huh? My own dad me. That's tough. You wouldn't touch your kids, huh? Maybe I should have made sure it was on right the first time, huh? You're bad. >> You should act like an adult. >> Yeah, I am. Yeah, maybe you should act like a real adult. >> Cracker racist cake. >> Female food. The woman was charged with battery or threats against a law enforcement officer prisoner, expelling bodily substances, three counts of disorderly conduct, causing a disturbance, and resisting arrest. Remember, leaving young family members unattended in a public place can quickly lead to police involvement and legal consequences. Remaining calm and cooperative during a police encounter can help prevent a situation from escalating further. This is the reaction of netzens to this situation. That situation escalated really fast over something small. The officers seemed focused on making sure the kids were safe first. I'm glad they found someone who could come pick the kids up. The tension is already high. Or so it seems. What the body cam captures next saves a life pause and comment what you do here. The next incident is when drunk man attacks. Woman and child at airport. Chaos erupts. On February 2nd, 2024 officers responded to a disturbance at an airport gate after reports that a passenger was yelling and causing a disruption during boarding preparations. >> I'm asking you I'm asking God. >> He's inside. >> They're right here. What happened? >> Hey, bro. I'm off from Jersey. If you need help. >> Yeah, I'm just looking for the bad guy. Get bad guys inside. He just went inside, >> sir. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. I'm good. Get in THE GET ON THE GROUND. Get on THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. GET IN THE GET THE GET ON the Get on the ground. Get out OF THE GROUND. Get out of THE GROUND. HANDS ARE BACK. >> HANDS BACK. HANDS BEHIND. Hands again. Put your hands behind your back. Give me a cover. >> Put your HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. GIVE ME YOUR COVER. You get You cover him. I'll cover him. >> No. No. You stop. You stop. to show me >> on the side or on your side, bro. Relax. >> Witnesses near the gate offer to provide statements explaining they observed the man behaving aggressively toward people seated nearby. way over right then smart. Get him on the side. There you go. Here's his legs. Help me up. Two. >> I'm sitting next to them the whole time. Do you need a witness at all or >> Yes. Do you mind writing a statement for me? right now. >> We do have to catch a plane, but >> Oh, is he boarding? >> I don't know if it's boarding or not. >> I'll get you. >> A witness tells officers the man became loud and confrontational, threatened a woman seated next to him and appeared to be arguing with family members while waiting to board. >> You have your ID? >> Yeah, I do. >> Just take a picture of your ID. >> I did give the lady time because I wanted to be safe. So, So they were sitting next to us and he he was getting kind of loud and then he >> right here in this area >> right here right in these seats here and he was getting kind of loud and then um she sitting was sitting next to me and he just he actually said to her not he says oh really I'm being bad he says I'll drop you right here and I leaned over to her and I said are Are you safe? >> So, you told her I was going to drop you, right? >> He was going to drop his wife. >> He threatened >> and all sorts of stuff. But I did get security and I tried to help. So, >> I appreciate you. >> Um, no, but he was trying to threaten them. And with the girls, he was being aggressive, like pushing them like, "Come on." Oh, sorry. I don't need to touch. Additional witnesses report the man pushed a young family member while directing them to move and was shouting profanity toward people in the seating area. >> Oh, so he was pushing the kids. >> Yeah, but it was more for the, you know, cuz he sees us. He No, I don't even know if he knows where he's at. He was cursing at random people like the lady that was sitting there next to us >> cuz on the way here, you know, they were telling us >> that he he had to pull my hair. That's what they told us on the radio. That's why we're coming fast. Yeah. Yeah. >> Investigators say the incident began at a departure gate inside Orlando International Airport when a man who admitted drinking before his flight became aggressive toward family members while waiting to board. Witnesses report. >> Officers identify the man and note he has a minor injury while continuing the arrest process and requesting medical personnel to check him. reported yelling, profanity, and physical confrontations involving adults and a young child before airport staff intervened. He was identified as 34year-old Ryan. Make sure he's okay. I'm going to double him up. >> You guys pull those out. That's all right. >> Watch. Watch. >> I got this. Watch that. >> You watch that. >> Watch that. >> We got to clean up the towel. I agree. >> Just think about We'll be fine. >> All right. I've been uh twice. >> Fire department's going to clean up your blood. The [ __ ] does that last? >> You got a boo boo on your arm. They got a gun to bring you out. >> Just give me that. Give me that right now. >> Give me the phone. >> Listen to me. >> Give me the phone. >> You're under arrest. >> Give me the [ __ ] phone. >> Stop. Give me the phone like a child. >> Give me the [ __ ] phone. >> The fire department. >> You want to live or not? >> I'm sorry. Give me the phone or die. All right, >> you need to talk to >> an airport supervisor explains staff were called after the man began yelling at his family and causing concern among passengers in the gate area. >> Sorry, I'll be doing the report. So, uh, I needed to hear from the horse's mouth. >> Okay. Tell me from the from the beginning what what what what transpired here. >> So, we received a call from the agent at gate 48 that a I'm going to take it off so I can so you can catch your voice. It's okay. >> But we need a supervisor. There's a a a customer being abusive towards his family. So then I I I'm usually the ramp supervisor, but since she goes by herself, I was like, I'll go up with him. You know what I mean? So I came up and as soon as I came up, she came over here like, "No, we got to call the police." Cuz he was screaming already in the gate area and everybody's just staring, you know? and she's kind of the wife, her sister, and the kids were like kind of like in the corner like right there sitting in the front and I I noticed that there was fear. So then I looked at them. I'm like, "Are you guys okay?" And then she's like, "No, we need help." So that's when I pulled off. I told him to come with me that I needed to talk to him away from the gate area. He just looked at me crazy and he didn't get up. So then I told him, "You guys step away." And I kind of got in between where he was sitting and where she was. And this was right there in the front where the kid with the burgundy. So I told her to come back here where this area is kind of away from them. So when she did that, he started following and wanted getting aggressive verbally. So then >> the supervisor states the man followed family members toward a secured jet bridge area, forced open a locked door, and pushed past the employee while attempting to reach them. >> Cuz you're trying to talk to her, right? You're trying to talk to her. No, I wanted to keep him away from her. You know what I mean? Cuz I saw the aggression building. So when he started walking, following me like trying to get here to them and I was like, "Sir, I'm going to call the police. You need to step away." So then he started walking that way like rushing like he was trying to get away. So the family came here and I followed to see where he went so we could notify you guys. You know what I mean? Not close. I let the distance, you know what I mean? And he stopped at 42 and he was trying to blend in. So I came back and as soon as I came back somebody said he's coming back and I looked and I told the family I scanned my badge in here and I was like you guys come in here because to me this is a secured area on the jet bridge you know what I mean to keep him away. So I close the door and the kids are crying and they're saying he gets like that when he drinks he's he's abusive he gets aggressive. He's like the wife. She's like he's going to hurt somebody. He's going to hurt somebody. And I was like he can't get in here. He busted that door open like nothing. Like it was opened like he went. It was locked. Like if you try to go in there right now, it's not going to open. >> Right. >> So that's what I thought. Yeah. Right. He just went boof and open the door. And I told him, "Sir, you can't be in here." He just kind of shoved me out the way. Like get out of my way, >> but with his body. >> That's That's still a battery. That's still a battery. >> So once he went in the jet bridge and he was telling her like, "You really doing this to and he grabbed his cell phone and went poof right in there in the jet bridge. Like >> according to the employee, the man continued trying to access the jet bridge, attempted to force the door open again, and demanded to board a plane that was not present at the gate. >> Like this stuff. Repeat it again. I don't want to miss that. >> He grabbed it like this, right? >> You're holding. >> Let's say this is Yeah. So let's say this is the inside of the jug, right? And he went bof like that. Like he hit the cell phone with the wall. >> His cell phone or your cell phone? >> His cell phone. Not mine. But >> his cell phone was just trying to hit something but he hit the wall. So then I told him get a little scared. >> Huh? >> Did you get a little scared for the because of his uh his uh state of mind? >> My mindset was more >> I was >> cuz you were there at that time. You were there alone, right? With him >> with the family. I was more being overprotective with them because I know that he will harm her. You know what I mean? So obviously, yeah, you're gonna be scared. It's a big ass guy. You know what I mean? But that kind of went away for a little bit cuz I was more trying to protect them. You know what I mean? >> So, >> and I'm talking about here. I'm talking about in the jet bridge now when he said he Oh, that's >> of course. >> So, anyways, I'm looking at him his whole movement in there. And then I kind of talked him on to look, come on, guys. Let's go out here. here and he started she started grabbing everything and he walked out and I closed the door again. So this time around I was holding the handle inside of there and trying to put my body to it and holding the the side the corner here and pulling it on me cuz every time that he would try to open it I will pull it on. >> So he was he was >> he was trying to go in again cuz when we were going to exit out there she was grabbing everything. I mean this is hers. You might want to add something. >> Thank you. She she I told him when when I told him, "Come on, let's go out there. I'm going to book you guys so he could calm down." So, as soon as he went out first and she was grabbing her stuff, I went and I slammed the door onto me again. And this time, I kind of put my foot on the corner and I was pulling the door on me, the handle like the to exit. >> And you were in the jet bridge while >> I was in the jet bridge and the family was behind me. So, then >> he was here. >> She called Yeah. She called she called her mom or his mom and she was telling him on FaceTime what he's doing and she's crying behind me while I'm holding the door. Then I couldn't hold it no more cuz I was pinching my finger and he pulled it and he got in again and he kind of again pushed me out the way with his body like trying to get to her. >> That's that's a battery. It's still a battery. >> And you know after he did that, you know, he's trying to get to her and telling her we're getting on this flight. We're going to And he's walking down like there's a plane. I'm like sir, there's not a plane there. >> But the plane had left. >> There's no plane. never was never just trying to keep them secured. You know what I mean? So then he's like, "No, I'm I'm going to go on the flight on the plane. I'm the only one on the plane." I'm like, "Sir, there's no plane there." So he walked all the way down and when he saw there wasn't a plane, then he started walking up and I'm trying to calm him down like, "Sir, let me pull up here. You're going to go on the flight. Your family's going to go on the flight. Just hold on for a second." You know what I mean? And that's, you know, I open the door again. And he came to talk to him and calm him down. >> Uhhuh. To kind of think I'm getting on a plane. I'm okay. So then that I closed it again and that's when you guys came. >> Or no, the second No, no, no. I'm lying. >> Cuz when when I came >> No, no, no, no, no. So the second time there was no fight to me. As soon as he came out, you know, I kind of heard I don't know who showed up first. You showed up first and I got the family out. When I saw you coming, I told him, "Come on, come on, come on." And she kind of went that way. >> But he was coming from here when I saw him. >> Exactly. When he came out, when I opened the door, when he came out, I saw you. You were coming. So then the family, I told him to go this way, like, come on, come on, grab the stuff and go. >> During transport preparation, officers explain that the situation has escalated to an arrest and that the remaining legal process will be handled through the court system. >> Cuz I drank I wanted to get on the out of flight. >> Let me ask you this, by the way. You said that you were drunk. I'm going to ask you a personal question. This this is just me and you talking. Were you drunk or are you drunk? Do you have a problem? Both. Hey, honestly. I like it. Both. I like it. You know, and this is not how to begin or end a vacation at all. Did you understand what the officers were there for? I never said I did. >> I'm I'm asking you. I'm asking. >> I understand what they're there for. Yeah. I understand what he's here for, guys. >> And so is he. You're here for your family. Thanks for >> I understand what you're here for. >> And I love the military. I'm here for the military. So, >> I appreciate that. I'll do anything I can. I will just uh give me give me about 500 push-ups. out too. >> Yeah. >> Like I say, why didn't you just comply with the auction what they needed >> my wife and uh our sister, but it's I would I would 100%. >> No problem. >> I'll comply with you. Whatever you say. >> Yeah. Well, right now Right now it's all over with. It's done, you know. Uh, of course, you know, you got to do that, but we can't we can't change that. >> So, how long are you going to jail for? >> That's that'll be up to the judge, you know. I mean, like a state that changes the bond, you know, your attitude or, you know, any past histories that you've got, you know, be cooperative from this point out. >> Okay. We'll be going from here. >> Yeah. Sorry. Sorry. You know that that chip sa when you decided not to comply. >> I don't want to get tased. I won't get you. >> Nobody wants to tase you. >> We don't like you using this stuff. >> So you can't help me out. >> There's no helping you, sir. >> Now, now everything's on you. Our job here in this job, our job is to come uh to call to answer to call the crime that was witness to try and investigate it, try and give you an opportunity, but if you don't give it and you're going to resist, you got it. I'm not going to resist. I'm not resisting. >> But outside of Nashville, our our stakiness is gone except getting to jail safely. After that it will be between you and the judge the courts your wife. We have no personal stake. You can't help me at all. >> The only thing we can do is just wish you the best. We hold no ill will towards you. One second. >> Ryan, you got to listen to us when we tell you how to get in this car cuz you're a big guy. >> Yeah. >> All right. Look at me. Face me. >> Not a big guy. >> You're a big guy. The man was arrested and charged with child abuse, disorderly intoxication, domestic violence, with battery, and resisting an officer with violence. Remember, alcoholrelated conflicts in public spaces can quickly escalate and lead to safety concerns and legal consequences. Following staff and officer instructions during a disturbance can help prevent situations from becoming more serious. This is the reaction of netzens to this situation. That must have been scary for everyone waiting at the gate. The airport staff did a good job trying to protect the family and call for help. It's unfortunate when travel situations turn chaotic like that. Everyone thought it was too late until the body cam shows the exact second officer step in. Did you predict that rescue? The next incident is when entitled woman make situation 10 times worse. >> No, ma'am. >> Not I WANT TO GO SEE MY SON. >> MA'AM, FAT. On July 14th, 2024 officers arrived at a residence to speak with a 20-year-old man named Brian after a report. >> You're not here for the people. He didn't do nothing. >> Brian live here. >> My son? >> Yeah. >> What do you need him for? >> I just need to talk to them about >> Let me go get him. >> Okay. I appreciate you. >> What happened? >> I'm trying to figure that out. Apparently, they got into some kind of argument or something like that, and I just need to get his side. Was there an altercation? >> I guess so. I wasn't out there. I'm helping the other guy. >> You know something about it? >> What? Low Bryant. >> That's what he's talking about. >> I have no idea. >> Oh, Junior. Brian. >> Oh my god. Oh my god. >> As a second officer arrives, the mother continues confronting the officer and delaying the request while Brian is called outside. >> Don't know. That's up to Brian. >> I don't I don't know about that. >> Okay. Well, I'll tell you this right now. He's got felony charges and if you interfere, I have to arrest you, too. And I'd rather not do that. >> There you go with that bull. >> I'm not lying. >> I can't let this just go get my son. >> I appreciate you. >> Come on, little mother. >> Will you please go get him? >> Will you please go get him? Thank you. >> I'll take my time, but I will go get him. >> Will you go around the other side? >> I really don't want her to interfere cuz it's an unnecessary arrest to make. >> Hey, dude. I can't control her. Brian approaches the officers and is detained for questioning while his mother repeatedly interrupts the conversation and confronts the officers in the yard. >> I don't understand. >> You ain't got free rain around here. Y'all need to stay together. >> Well, you don't tell me where I need to go, ma'am. >> You don't tell me where I need to go. >> You ain't going to wolf nobody, ma'am. >> You don't know what I'm going to do. >> If you can't stop going >> You can't tell me [ __ ] All right. I'm in my own yard. Mom, if you can't stop, go inside. Okay, >> I can't stop and I ain't got to go inside. >> No, these mother here to make it worse. >> It's okay. >> All right. >> What happened with Miss and hit my little brother ass Marvin just to make stop. I'm sorry. >> No, don't be. >> Mom, please stop. >> Handle your business. >> You're making it more. >> He's making slick comments. They can't do that. >> We're going to talk at the car if you can't stop interrupting. Let's go. Ryan. Ryan, come with me. Okay. Right now. Right now, you're detained. Okay. on his own. Got >> you. KEEP YOUR HEAD OFF OF HIM. >> STAY BACK. >> OFFICERS advise Brian of his rights and begin asking him about the reported incident involving a younger family member. >> You mother record this. Get somebody. >> We were already recording. Mammoth, >> YOU KNOW WHAT? I DON'T TRUST YOU. DON'T TALK TO ME NO MORE. >> It's literally on right now. >> [ __ ] you. Y'all y'all motherers need retraining. I don't give a about what you are recording. You stop it and start it again like you always do. >> You're just saying that you need to. I never touched it >> in front of me. Why don't you quit doing that? >> I never touched it. So >> you did. I seen you. >> No, I didn't. >> You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights that I explained to you? Having these rights of mind, will you talk to me now? >> Yes, I do. And >> Brian explains he went to speak with the younger relative after an earlier disagreement and admits he confronted the child about the behavior. >> You got a question. >> Well, well, I I'll just ask that in a second because I'm completely honest and I know exactly what happened and I know and if >> she's not really helping, is it? >> I know she it I go through a lot, dude. But >> um if just stay right there while we talk to him. >> You stand right there, >> ma'am. You're not going to interfere with us. >> No, I'm not. And you ain't going to interfere with him. >> I went over there being his older brother and I literally said this. I will not do anything. So I grabbed my belt and I went over there, explained like you cannot do this. He's a little kid and I'm I'm my age. I can't put my hands on you just like you shouldn't put my your hands on my little brother. >> Officers inform Brian he is under arrest and place him in handcuffs while his mother continues to argue with officers and accuse them of wrongdoing. >> Oh, >> these mother is crazy. They're on drugs out there. >> Son, >> ma'am, stop interfering. >> Do not talk truthfully. >> Stop interfering. >> Get away from me. Stop back from me. >> Stop interfering. >> I'm not interfering. Get back from me. You're scaring me and threatening me. >> I'm not threatening you anyway. >> So, technically, you're under arrest for child abuse. Okay. >> Child abuse. >> All right. But since you're being okay, I'm just going to cuff you in the front. >> Cuz I know I know I know you're your adrenaline's going to go crazy and everything. >> If you do not move out of my personal space, I'm going to press charges on you. I need a I need a law out here. >> For what? Brian remains calm and asks his mother to bring him personal items, including a Bible, while she continues to criticize the officers during the arrest process. >> If you call 911, ma'am, I'm going to arrest you for 911 abuse. >> You are getting very aggressive. >> I'm just telling you not to interfere with them while they're talking. >> Just mind your business. >> This is my business, ma'am. >> Get the back from me. >> I don't have to go anywhere. >> Intimidate me. >> I'm not intimidating. I'm just >> and you're going to be in trouble. >> I'm just telling you. >> If I'm genuinely trying to be a good kid, I'm trying to follow God and stuff like that. >> So, right now it's all it is is is an accusation. When the judge hears everything, it may just get thrown. >> Wait, I got to do all that. >> You're going to have a court. >> Well, can I make a um an appeal or something like that? Like um go check their house and their perspective. >> Well, if you're going to complain, I would rather you get No, ma'am. >> Do not I WANT TO GO SEE MY SON? MA'AM, >> BE DOCUMENTED. >> STOP. >> FAT. >> That's all you got to say? I'm fat. Oh, well, >> you ain't fat. >> Let me get you into my voice. >> No, ma'am. I'm not. Well, >> I hate what you stand for. >> You're not here for the people who didn't do nothing, you little >> ma'am. Can I bring my Bibles? Can I please bring my Bible? >> If she's willing to get it for you. Mom, can you please get my Bible? You shouldn't listen to me. >> Officers collect Brian's belongings, explain the next steps in the legal process and prepare to transport him while his mother continues confronting them about the arrest. >> Can't be honest with these stupid. >> I'm going to be honest. I'm following God. Mom, whatever happens happens. I DON'T CARE. WHAT the are y'all thinking? >> Mom, get my Bible. My keys are in my room. >> What the heck is this for? Y'all have to tell me what you were taking, my son. >> How old is he? >> Not. >> He's grown. He's He He's been told his char. >> No wonder your wife don't want you. >> I don't have a wife, ma'am. >> Well, whatever. Exactly. >> Go get his Bible, please. >> Aren't you? Y'all two are >> Please get my Bible. I was Can I sit down or something? I'm getting it, baby. I'm getting it. And don't worry, you won't get out tonight. >> I'm going to be up there to get you here in just a little bit. >> You won't be out tonight. >> You You don't know how it goes when >> he goes the first appearance, ma'am. Yes, he does. >> He will get on. >> You don't even know what the talking about. >> He goes to first appearance in the morning. Ma'am, >> mom, >> it's not going to work. >> Mom, please get my Bible. >> Come with me. >> Dude, >> you you fat. Go get his Bible, please, so he can have it. If that's all you got to say, it's not really doing anything. But >> sons of you know you are crooked as you would have known the real situation. >> Can you go get his Bible, ma'am, please? He's requesting it, please. >> It's the nicest thing I heard all day. >> Oh, you doing the wrong thing here. It's You're doing the wrong thing. >> Go get his Bible, please. >> So he can have it. >> Get on your >> Just got to make sure nothing in your pockets are nothing on your hat. >> Nope. >> All right. You want to hold on to it, but it's going to go in your pocket. Okay. All right. I got to get my phone or my valuable. One of the two or at least both. Dang, these things are hard. >> Yeah, I know. >> So, what charge will that be >> right now? Just child abuse. >> What? You can't say just child abuse. >> Umbrella charge. >> What's an umbrella charge? It goes >> kind of covers everything. Okay. So, it depends on what the judge sees and everything else after that, >> dude. >> But that's that's the way it is. I'm going to attempt >> kill, dude. Well, just sit sit tight as best you can. >> Hey, Mom. Can you get my phone now? >> Just stay right here. >> I'm going to call Christy and Donnie. We're going It's going to be fine. You'll get out tonight. I hate y'all. Y'all are wrong for this. That boy didn't do nothing against the law. >> We weren't there. We don't >> Are you taking it out on me? On him for the way I acted. >> No. >> You are. You're pissed, aren't you? >> Who? Me? >> Yeah. Cuz the way I talk to y'all. >> No, because y'all cuss like this. Cuz y'all do >> this is nothing to us. I got the Bible already. So, cell phone and flip flops if you got it, ma'am. >> You know what? Y'all are pumped for this. Y'all don't know that he's a good boy. He's a Christian. He's a good boy. No, cell phone and sandals for this. >> Cell phone and sandals, please. >> I hope the devil gets y'all snatches y'all out the window. >> Cell phone and sandals, please. >> I hope this happens to your boy when you have one one day. You'll know how I feel right now. >> I mean, if my kid if my kid done wrong, he needs to go to jail. >> My kid didn't do wrong. >> Well, I wasn't there. I don't know. >> Yeah, you wasn't there. I swear y'all. >> So step on and sandals cuz somebody else that's here was ass. >> I don't kiss anyone's ma'am. >> Who's driving me? >> Can I talk to you about God? >> You can talk to me on the way there if you want to. >> All right. Good. >> Did you want to talk to him, ma'am? >> There's this thing called um some judicial something. Another >> I'm not worried about it, Mom. I know God's got me. >> This is not a felony. You stupid. >> No, man. >> Under 20 is a felony. If I don't get anything stupid, >> please. >> We're about done here. >> My wife hates you. >> We're about done here. >> Brian was arrested and charged with child abuse. Remember, interfering with an active police investigation can make a situation more difficult for everyone involved. Physical discipline by someone who is not a legal parent or guardian can lead to criminal charges. This is the reaction of nizens to this situation. The officers stayed pretty patient, even with all the yelling. Situations get harder when people keep interrupting the investigation. Brian seemed calm, but the argument around him made things tense.
