Moments later, callers said the same driver had struck a soldier near the entrance. >> This is a 911 operator. Sorry, we have lots of calls coming in. Did you call in? >> Yeah. Um, some lady just hit my truck while we were on the road. Um, I'm heading towards Fort Rainright Gate right now and they have her stopped. >> Okay, let me get some quick information from you. Okay. >> Oh no. >> What? What was an emergency? A a soldier got hit by her. >> A soldier was just struck by her. Okay. All right. Hold on just a second for me. Okay. >> Is she compliant? >> I think she's drunk. >> You think she's drunk? >> We got one possibly dead. >> Put your hands up. >> Can you climb out the car? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Start climbing. Are there any weapons in the vehicle? >> No, ma'am. I don't I've never even shot a gun. Climb out of the vehicle, ma'am. I've never shot a gun in my whole life. >> Put your hand behind your back. Hands behind your back. Ra. >> Rihanna, what is your last name? >> City31. >> Do you have anything? Any weapons or anything like that? Okay. You can take any >> Yeah. Do you have an Alaska ID? >> Nope. >> Okay. >> I I don't She's definitely probably 1055. >> All right. So, were you here? >> Yeah, I was right here. That was my car. Was right here. And I saw her run him along. >> Was he in a vehicle at all? >> No, he was standing down there at this point. The wave swimming for a DVI? >> Yes, >> she hit him. >> There's brain matter all here. >> Was this a uh hit run? Yes, she's detained right now. >> What's his name? >> What was that? >> His name is PS Gomez. Ma'am. Officer Matthew. Ma'am. Hey. Ma'am, >> sit up for me. You need to sit up. >> Yes. Stay seated. >> I'm not that bad. >> You're not that bad? >> No, ma'am. your face. >> All right. Where were you? >> I promise I was not that bad. >> Were you out here, sir? >> No, I just my >> Okay. Anything like that? >> No. >> Have you ever been in the army or the Navy or anything like that? >> Nope. >> Okay. >> I wish. Can you ask me what your purpose for coming on the installation was? >> I was just having too much fun. I'm sorry. I'm having too much fun. >> So, he's out here trying to get the, you know, trying to come in this lane and then she just hits him. >> A series of urgent 911 calls reported a driver heading toward the Fort Wayne gate after allegedly striking another vehicle. Moments later, callers said the same driver had struck a soldier near the entrance. >> Uh, it was for random vehicle inspection. So I'm not exactly sure here and they usually like >> okay this is where the top of his head is here right there. Somebody with C uh spoke with him or her for just a second and I guess she said oh asked her if she had like a DOD card or why she was coming and she said she was having too much fun. >> Just got lost trying to come on to the base. >> I don't She said she was just having too much fun. >> I'm in so much trouble. >> What were his injuries? Oh, one thing I was going to tell you is that I don't think he went under. >> You don't? >> No. Because if you look at the way the windscreen is destroyed and the way the the roof has been collapsed, I think he got struck, went high and then came down and hit his head on the left on the concrete slab. >> I believe he hit the top of the windscreen >> and and the top of the roof and then got thrown into the barrier here. Where the head come into contact with the barrier is where the hair is and that's where the matter starts going further. So, he probably received blunt force trauma from the initial impact from the vehicle, but then after his body came to the ground was where his head contacted with barriers and went. >> Okay. What are the witnesses saying about that? >> I none of them have seen. The one that we I heard or talk to didn't see him lost sight of him when she went through the cones at the end of the lane. >> I'm not much trouble. We know that. >> It was a bit. >> There we go. >> It was a joke. >> Hopefully it stays. >> I'm sorry. >> Rihanna. >> Yes. >> Hey, I'm Dr. Paul with Fair Police. >> Yes, sir. You want to sit down? >> You can do whatever you want. >> Witnesses told investigators that the soldier had been standing [music] near the inspection lanes when the vehicle struck him. >> Officers began documenting the scene while the driver repeatedly said she had been having too much fun. >> Can I just not have the these hurt so bad? >> I understand that. I'm sorry. That's not up to me right now. Okay. >> I know. I don't know. >> Hey, you know, can I have you listen to me real quick? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yes, sir. That's >> I'm just like I understand you both have to do a job, but like these hurt. >> Okay. I protect them. >> Okay. >> I know they're not. She kept telling me. She's like, they're not that. >> No. I mean, unfortunately, >> but they hurt. Yeah. So, she doesn't [snorts] want to answer any questions. So, >> I haven't >> just anything that she says.
