You know what? Kiss my ass. If you keep me, I'm going. So, >> you're being honest with me? >> No. >> Okay. >> Take my seriously, I prove you wrong. >> It's shocking how some people think the world revolves around them until reality smacks them in the face. This suspect believed they could get away with anything, but soon everything spiraled completely out of control. >> What is it? >> Zoe Boyd. >> Can you spell that for me? >> Oh, that's my car out front. >> These are shoplifterss. see the police arriving. They panic hard. These Walmart troublemakers thought they could outsmart the cops, but they were in for a rude awakening. >> You know what? Kiss my ass and you keep me squeak. >> On December 20th, 2021, law enforcement responded to a shoplifting call at, of all places, an airport store near Dunkin Donuts. Nothing like caffeine and chaos to start the day right. >> Get your hands off of me. I'mma sit here. >> What happened in the in the store by Dunkin Donuts? >> This is Go ahead. >> Dunkin Donuts. Can you show me at 7151oulevard? She says she was going to Florida, >> right? But did you end up coming back and different? >> No. >> Okay. So, do do I I'm trying to work with you here. Do I need to go pull the tape where it shows you bringing the shoes back? Cuz they have cameras there. >> You don't need to pull the tape off. >> But what I'm saying is that they said you took the shoes, you put them in the bag, you walked over it. >> Yeah. She chased me outside, right? And >> but then she was making a scene, so I went back in there and put them back. Yes, that's correct. >> Okay. Just trust her. 283. Can we get landside 51 for trespass? We're right in the middle by the fish tank. >> And also possibly all the other stuff for under is 56. But they got their shoes back. Their management says they don't want to do anything, but she's already called the scene two or three times at Dunkin Donut. >> We'll be able to ID and then if they call back and then we'll just write warrants. >> Yeah. >> So, got >> Right. But you've already stolen from one store. How are you supposed to know you didn't steal from another one? >> And the and the other concern is that you're saying you have no money and you need you need people to >> I spoke to my daughter. She's going to >> quite the flex during a shoplifting call. She argues she shouldn't be treated like someone who couldn't afford a pair of sneakers. >> She's going to send me some money now. So it doesn't make sense how you buy clothes when you have no money. That's what I'm saying. >> I had money earlier. I had $400 on my car and I had 500 on my other car. That's how I bought $900. >> Look, my family got money. How can I? She sold my mother's brown sold for 1.3 million. I had $100,000. What? You think I'm going to be taking Where's your receipt for this? >> But what are you concerned about that? The issue is >> they don't belong to you. They belong to the store. >> That's your issue. You came to get me for this [ __ ] with the lady. So, do me a favor. >> What I'm telling you is is that I know that a favor. Do me a favor. I ain't come here for this and I don't have to explain [ __ ] to you. >> Things start heating up. The officer warns her about possible charges if the back and forth continues while she declares she's tired and just wants to go home. >> What we'll do is we'll go to the store and we'll see if he wants to press charges. Then we'll go from there and you going to jail. So I I'm just trying to >> I'm not trying to go to no jail. I'm trying to go home. I've been here too long. I'm exhausted. Okay. I'm tired of Florida. I don't live here and I ain't coming back. >> Keep it up. Your borderline disorderly conduct and I'll just arrest you for that. Okay. We're trying to resolve this. >> I'm trying to talk to him. You with me for one thing and he coming with me with some other [ __ ] I'm trying to get home. I have a doctor's appointment and I have to You're going to arrest me. I have a doctor's appointment and I have two. I have >> Ma'am, you're not under arrest. Place your hands behind your back. >> You know what? This don't make no sense. What more y'all going to do to me? >> Place your hands. >> You know what? You see how bad my luck is? Don't come for my home like that. >> Take my bag right here. Take my bag. You can have 10. >> Take my bag. >> Take my bag. Cuz she don't. >> As the situation escalates, she accuses the officer of racism, proclaiming, "If I was white, you would have let me go." The tension spikes higher than the price of airport coffee. >> No. If I got the receipt on me or not. >> Come disorderly conduct. >> You know what? >> Stay right there. Don't get up, please. Thank you. >> Get your hands off of me. I'm going to sit here. >> I don't believe you. Racist mothering bastard, >> man. Race has nothing to do. >> You racist mother. If I was white, you would have let me go ahead here. You're racist. >> That's the best you can do. >> That's the best you can do. >> That's the best you can do. >> You just want with me cuz I'm black. >> No. >> I asked you to steal today. I mean, >> so what? This don't have nothing to do with the issue. You started with me. I was enjoying the nice weather and then you decided >> you ain't enjoying us. >> Stand back down. Sit back down, ma'am. We told you >> you're going to hurt me. Go ahead. Hurt me. Go ahead. Break my arm. Break my arm. >> Let me sit down. Let me go down. Look, mother. Let me go. You bastard. Let me go. Let me go, mother. I'm sitting down. You white racist. >> Can I get a cage car, please? Let me know where they're going to be on the curb. You white racist son of a you son of a you hurt me. >> She then unleashes a verbal storm throwing out insults and even threatening to spit on the officer. Apparently things went from I have $400. >> If you hurt me, I'm too I'm staying still. You want to hurt me? You hurt me, mother. >> You don't have to grab me like that. You son of a >> face and pick up another charge. >> Go to um the office and deal with this. Yeah. >> You holding me too hard. You racist son of a >> piece of guinea pig mother. You holding me too tight. He's holding me. Okay. But you got to be and you hurt you squeezing my finger. You tell him to stop squeezing my finger. >> Just stop resisting. >> You know what? Kiss my ass. And you keep your squeeze. Did you >> piece of [ __ ] being in this mother? Y stupid mother to the bus. You don't want me to go to New York where I live >> if my arm is I'm press 269 >> helping me mother. >> The verbal barrage continues as she claims the officer is physically hurting her. The officer meanwhile keeps calm and carries on. I offer to try to help you. >> No, >> I don't want none of y'all can ass. >> 287, can you repeat the location you would like him to respond to, please? >> Got nothing better else to do. >> Piece of [ __ ] Mama horn you ma'am. Mama 283, you were the one that advised. >> The audio then picks up dispatch chatter and a request for a female officer. The translation is backed up. Please >> you repeat your traffic. >> East control is me. We're in the land office. Can we have a female officer 56 with us reference? >> What you going to talk to me now? >> Piece of [ __ ] man. Piece of [ __ ] before I spit on your ass. >> An available female offic. >> That's another charge. >> So what? I ain't spit on you >> downstairs. >> You holding my You just You just watch. I don't care. I ain't going to be that officer at 202. >> We ain't got nothing better to do. Black racist son. >> Would you stop squeezing my shoulder before I spit on you again? I swear to my mother I'mma spit on you again. Keep keep pressing on my shoulder. >> She's still talking, declaring, "I don't care. I ain't going to be that normal officer in 2024." Whatever that means, she makes sure to mention she's from New York. >> I'm not pressing on your [ __ ] >> You don't feel it. I'm feeling >> I'm not pressing you. They don't have a photo. >> Got her Wendy 285. >> The saga finally wraps up with dispatch noting that the woman was trespassed and charged with resisting arrest and battery on law enforcement. Trying to use the race card won't excuse criminal behavior. Accountability applies to everyone. Respectful cooperation with law enforcement prevents minor issues from turning into serious charges. But this is still not the worst case. Just wait until you see this next one. >> Please don't arrest me. Please, please, please don't arrest me. Please, please. On October 3rd, 2025, Las Cruus's officers were called out to Walmart after loss prevention spotted a 35year-old woman pulling the classic tag swap special. >> What is it? >> Zoe Boyd. >> Can you spot for me? >> Hi, ma'am. Are you going to arrest me? >> Yeah. >> Uhhuh. Please. No. Please. Please. No. Please, >> let's get you up. >> Please, please don't arrest me. Please, can you please not arrest me? >> No. Too late for that. >> Please. No. Please don't arrest me. Please don't arrest me. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please don't arrest me. Do you have any weapons on you? That >> no coping glass. Okay. >> Please don't arrest me. Please. You have anything? >> No. But please don't arrest me. Please. >> Can you please don't arrest me? Please. >> Please don't arrest me. Please. >> Please. Please don't arrest me. Please. Please. >> She gave officers the name Zoe Boyd, which sounded fine except the system acted like it had never heard of her. At that point, everyone knew something fishy was going on, and it wasn't the seafood aisle. I was like, I knew that was mine. I thought it was hers. I was like I was like I was like, she has a blade, >> man. I can't believe she resisted. >> Yeah, I was like, I was going to give you a citation. [laughter] >> Okay, let's see. Proceeds right here. >> Let me go identify them and I'll be right back. Okay. >> Over. [clears throat] I apolog 7 789. >> Hey, I have your sound for you. Okay. >> Please, can you please not talk? We'll talk. >> Please don't arrest me. Please, >> sir. Please. >> Please, can you not arrest me, please? >> We'll talk. >> Please. Please. >> What is your name, man? >> Zoe Boyd. >> What is it? >> Zoe Boyd. >> Can you spell it for me? >> Z O E >> Z O Y D. >> Hold up. Go get one more time. >> B O Y D. >> Date of birth. >> You saidary. >> Yes. >> Uh-huh. Huh? You know your social? >> No, I don't. >> The officer calmly explained she was now being charged with shoplifting and resisting arrest and added that lying about her identity was only digging the hole deeper. >> You have a New Mexico driver license? >> No. >> How uh where are you from? >> Uh uh I'm from Texas. >> Texas. >> Can you please not arrest me, please? >> Well, we'll see right now. >> Please. >> All right. So, look, you are being detained right now due to them seeing you on cameras transferring labels, right? Which is considered shoplifting. Okay. Can you please not arrest me on this? >> Look, I'm going to be honest with you. We're past that point. If you would have been cool with me, I I was going to take you to the office without handcuffs and talk. >> Please, please, please. >> I don't care how many times you say please. Answer no. >> Please, sir. Please. >> So, I'm going to run your name. Is that your correct name? >> Yes. >> Out of Texas. >> Uh-huh. >> Okay. All right. So, look, you're going to be getting charged for traveling and resisting arrest today. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, have a seat in there. I'm run your name. Relian to me. You're going to catch another charge. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, are you being honest with me? No. >> Okay. At this point, EMS was called in and she continued pleading not to be arrested like she was trying to negotiate her way out of a parking ticket instead of a crime spree. >> The ambulance going to come check on you right now. >> And I need to take my insulin shot. >> Got you. The fire department's on the way. They'll check on you >> and then we'll go to the hospital after. >> Huh? >> I said the ambulance is on their way. Uh they'll check on you and then we're going to we're going to have to go to the hospital anyways. Why? >> Cuz I use force on you. >> Okay. >> Please, sir. Can you not arrest me? Please. >> I already told you no. >> Please, please, sir. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please don't. Can I at least call someone? Please. >> Yeah, I didn't call from jail. >> Please don't. Please don't do this. Please. Please. Please don't. Please don't do this to me. Please, please don't do this to me. Please, please, sir. I'm sorry. Please. Please don't do this to me. Please. Please don't do this to me. Please. Please. >> Hey, stop. >> Stop. I'm going to put you on the wrap. >> You said your birthday was January, right? >> Yes. >> 1990. >> Yes. >> Okay. For a copy for one by a name in Doby. >> It's going to be Zoe Boyd >> confirming you're advised Zoe Boyd 120 of 90 >> Do you know if that's going to be Zebra Ocean Edward or Zebra Ocean Edward? Yeah, >> Zoe is just Ze, correct? >> Yes. Zebra Ocean Edward >> loss prevention confirmed exactly what happened. She switched tags on a shirt and a pair of shoes to save about 11 bucks. $11. And still decided to run for it. >> She transfer tags to make it reduced. >> She's walking out. I'm like, "Man, can you just come with me?" >> I was going to give her a citation, dude. >> It's like literally $2 difference or like $4 difference. And then >> I was like, "You're being detained right now. They're accusing you of transferring tags." And then she like booked it. So I just grabbed her, pulled her Show me the data one more time 20 of 1990. >> Oh um >> the entrance. >> Yeah, the entrance. She took off and then she kept pulling like starting to grab like a she >> Hey. Uh so what's your real last name? >> Huh? Boyd. >> Boyd. Do you have a second last name? >> Uh-huh. >> Do you have a second last name? >> Uh-uh. >> No. Okay. Um, so you're not coming back on file at all. So it's Zoe. Z O E. >> Yes. Boy. >> And then Boyd. B O Y D. >> Yes. >> Janu out of Louisiana. >> Yes. >> Okay. Come on. >> Look this way for me. Look up. >> I'll move your head. Okay. >> I need to take a photo so I can identify you. All right. The fire department's here. They're going to check on your tempest to stop her. I was going to take into the >> This is all watched on cameras or >> Yeah, it's all on cameras. So, um I was about to We were watching the cameras, saw her switch the tags. She went, paid came was coming outside, asked her to follow me, and then she started running. Grabbed, >> took off running. >> Yeah, she took off running, grabbed her hand, she kept pulling away. So, I did a uh what's it called? A >> leverage take down. >> A sweep and then a leverage sweep down. Okay. >> And then I'm going handcuffy on the ground. >> Okay. >> And now, >> and they're uploading video evidence. >> Yeah. He's getting all the video footage and then he's bringing all her property back. >> Um >> what's our charges on her then? So, it's going to be uh Ario shoplifting and then possibly concealing because I haven't been able to get her here. >> She hasn't given me an ID yet. >> No, she doesn't have an ID on her, but she gave me a name. It's not coming back on >> and she wants to let go, but >> probably going to have warrants is going to be my guess. >> Yeah. And now she's complaining of code 30. >> Yeah, that's that's the jail can deal with that. >> Yeah, I already told you that. uh Louisiana, but like I only >> Do you want one of these guys to transport for you or >> um if they're not busy yet, but if not, I can take her. >> Yeah, we can have one of our guys. That way you don't have to deal with her anymore. >> Sounds good. Shankalito. >> What's her name? >> Oh, what's the name she's giving? >> She's giving uh Zoe. Uh Zoe Boyd. >> Boyd. >> Yeah. Check the spelling on Zoe. It might be spelled wrong. >> Yeah, we tried Z O uh Z O E. Z O E Y. >> Keep saying Z. >> Oh, maybe she has an ID. >> Yeah, we know you're not. So, what's your real name? >> Okay. >> Crystal Marbos. >> Eventually, the big reveal. Zoe Boyd wasn't real. Her actual name is Crystal and she was promptly charged with concealing her identity. >> Say her name. >> Yeah, cuz we asked for an ident. >> Oh, okay. So, tell us she's getting charged with concealing also. >> All right. So, now you're getting charged with concealing. >> Concealing my identity. >> Yeah, cuz you were concealing your identity. You weren't telling us you were. >> Step up. >> Sorry. Are you injured anywhere? >> Yes, my head, my eye, and my shoulder. Sorry. >> Your head and what? >> Where your head? >> On the side of my head. Right here. >> Right here. >> Yes. >> Where else? Okay. Take a seat again. also showing a positive 40 out of El Paso County for extradition for probation violation of dangerous code 16. >> A quick check showed she also had multiple active warrants, including a probation violation for dangerous drugs and a failure to appear on a DWI. Going to be a bench warrant for danger code 16. Going to be a zero bond. >> Yeah. You got a bunch of warrants >> from where? >> Oh, all kinds of them. >> Like where? >> For drugs and stuff. Do you have any drugs on you right now? >> No. I'm going to tell you if if you have stuff on you right now, now's the time to to tell us. >> I'm I'm just giving I'm not saying you do or you don't. I'm just giving you some advice that before you get to the jail, it's better to to have them tell us here cuz that way it it lowers it down a little bit, right? If you go into the jail and they find them on you there, >> it's bad news. Okay. Oh, six blues. Sorry. >> But she admitted she had six blues on her. Officers decided not to pile on drug charges since the amount was small and she already had a buffet of charges waiting for her anyway. >> Six blues >> in the first. >> Is that a felony? >> The blues? >> Yes. >> Uh, it might be personal use. >> What does that mean? >> Uh, they probably won't charge you for it. >> They won't charge you for it. >> Yeah. As long as you're not dealing usually not going to charge that's kind of a little low number. >> You think they want like over 20 or something like that. >> Where do I have a warrant from? >> I don't know. I haven't seen them. The other officers are going to get them. They'll be able to tell you though. >> Can you text Quinn and say I'm arrested? >> I can call him if you want. >> Can you please call him? >> Sexy Quinn. >> Yes. How come your speaker doesn't work? >> You probably have to turn it on. >> Uncle. >> Yeah, you can call him. >> Hello. Hey, this is Sergeant Alo with Los Cruz Police Department. Uh, so I'm here with uh what was her name again? >> Uh, Zoe. He knows me by Zoe. >> Zoe. And she's getting arrested. She just wanted you to know. >> Okay. Have a good day. >> I don't know why it wouldn't go to speaker, but whatever. >> And then you get to win up two charges, right? For the shop. >> Uh, yes. for the shoplifting and uh obviously to get a trespass as well. >> Hey uh Christine, you're being trespassed from the Walmart. Okay. >> Huh? >> You're trespassed from the Walmart. If you go back, you're subject to citation or automatic arrest. Okay. >> You're not allowed back there. >> Hey, uh all your property, the little gift bag that you had, your purse, everything that's inside your purse is going to be at the police station. Okay? So, whenever you get out, go pick it up there. It it can't go through the jail, so it has to go to our police station. >> Will it go with me to Elaso? >> Uh, probably not. It'll stay. >> She was charged with shoplifting, resisting arrest, concealing identity, and being a fugitive from justice for the two outstanding warrants. Her charges are still pending, and she waved extra conditions to El Paso. Running, lying about your name, and begging won't turn a citation into freedom. It only stacks up more charges. A $10 tag switch can easily turn into jail time warrants and a trip to the hospital if you make the situation worse. Comment your opinion about the case in the comment section. Let's find out the next incident. >> I didn't [ __ ] do anything wrong. Are you >> y'all? I didn't do nothing wrong. I swear to God, you guys I'm not under arrest. >> You're under arrest. >> On May 6th, 2023, store security spots a familiar duo. The kind of regulars no store actually wants since they've been caught shoplifting before officers step in to issue a trespass for life notice. >> Oh, that's my car out front with fingerprints. So, just I want to be clear. It's the two down there at the end with the cart and kind of red hair and that guy. >> Yep. >> And they previously shoplifted before. >> Yeah, they've come in here. I've seen them in here a few a couple times. >> I'm going to give them the uh you don't want their business speech. >> Thank you. >> Hi guys. How we doing? >> Hey, need you guys to leave the store without taking anything. Okay, you guys are identified as previous shoplifterss. Yeah, store security said they called us here. They said you walked in with another guy just now and they literally pointed you out. Both of you. >> Yeah, both of you. It would be a really fun end to my day. >> I just don't think you should be slinging around terms like that cuz it's rude. >> After several polite requests to leave, she decides to be charged with disorderly conduct. And that's when the officer calmly informs her she's now under arrest. You got to leave the store or I'm going to arrest you for trespassing. >> Keep going. Keep going. You got to clear the store and clear the entire parking lot. >> Oh boy. That's actually called disorderly conduct. Stop where you are. You're under arrest. Stop. If you start to run, I've already told you you're under arrest. If you start to run, I'm going to chase you. >> I didn't [ __ ] do anything wrong. >> If you swing me, y'all. I didn't do nothing wrong. I swear to God, you guys are I'm not under arrest. >> You're under arrest. >> For what? For what? >> Let go of me. >> Hey. Hey. No. >> Hey, listen. Listen. >> You let go. Plenty of opportunities. You guys are out of pocket right now. I swear to God. For what? I didn't [ __ ] do anything wrong. >> Let go. You're going to get Are you serious? For what? What did I do? Tell me what the I did. Tell me what the I did. It's called >> She responds by resisting, screaming, pulling away. Basically trying every move except cooperating. I said you're trying to pay me my money. I have money. Cash money. Okay. >> Okay. You were told to leave the store >> and I did >> seven eight times. >> No. I feel literally talking about me. >> Let go. >> Let go of the purse. It's okay. >> You're not arresting me. >> Yes, we are. >> No. You're not. >> Okay. Go ahead. >> Stop. >> Stop. You guys are >> Hey. Hey. >> You guys are so >> I got mine >> for life. Alex, >> can you keep an eye out for any other guys approaching us? She went in the store with two guys. >> Alex, get a camera. Can someone videotape this [ __ ] >> We are videotaping. >> Good know you. >> I'm Can you stop? >> Hey, your arm can get broken. >> I don't want to break your arm. >> No, clearly you do. >> You're resisting. >> Stop. >> Roll over on your stomach. >> For what? >> Did you say Yeah. You know? Okay. Now you're under arrest for another charge for resisting arrest. >> Why are you guys doing this? I didn't do anything wrong. >> Do you want to get tased? That's the next step. >> I didn't do anything. >> That's the next step. I swear to God, you guys, [screaming] >> you have issues. Look, you're such a freaking >> Hey, let go of my hand. >> Your [ __ ] >> You did. You just squeeze my hand again. >> No, I didn't. What? >> Even in handcuffs, she keeps arguing, insisting she did nothing wrong and could have paid with cash money. The officers explain that yes, she is also being charged with resisting. Hey, stop. >> You guys are so I don't understand what the wrong scared out and down. >> Stand up. Shut up. Good for you. >> Just letting you know. >> You want to see my money for groceries? >> Well, it's not about money. If you walked out without paying for stuff. >> I didn't walk out without pay. They told me to go to the store. >> That's what they told us. >> No. What? >> No, that's a different This is a different thing. >> Yeah. They identified them as previous shoplifters. We went and trespassed her. >> Not me. I'm not. >> They told her to leave a bunch of times. >> You've been to the store with him. >> She finally laughed as she left. She grabbed a stack of buckets and tossed them backwards at me. >> I swear to God, I didn't think he was talking to me. >> You didn't think who was talking to you? >> You guys. I thought >> when we were in the store. Yeah, I was talking to you. We we we said many times we'll go back. Like I said, you guys, >> we'll go back to the footage. >> During the search, officers find what appears to be drug paraphernalia and some blue pills. Unfortunately for the case, but fortunately for her. >> What are you doing? >> Going for yourself. >> How you arrest your body? >> I can't go through my >> It's called incident. Kayla. >> No, you're not. Stand up. I'm ready for you to stand up. I'll tell you. >> Are you injured at all? >> Yes, I am. >> But hurt. >> My fing on my [ __ ] back. My [ __ ] chair is hella bad. It's hard to breathe. So, we're also going to have a sergeant come up here and talk to you. >> That's fine. That's perfectly fine. >> You want to stand up? I can sit you down in the bumper now. >> How is this legal at all? >> Have a seat. Actually, you know what? Do you have anything on your in your pockets? Anything on you that's going to hurt me? Poke me, stick me. Needles, knives, explosives, guns, anything like that? >> No. >> Let's walk over here to this back of the car. >> So, I didn't do anything wrong. Seriously, you guys are so [ __ ] up. >> Stop racing. >> I'm trying to put my pocket. >> You don't have to push your pocket back in. It's the lowest of the priorities right now. >> How is this even legal? How is this even legal? >> New drug laws in Kent. >> Not even I just put this drug. >> She then claims she's completely warrant-free. A bold claim that doesn't survive the records check. Officers discover active warrants tied to past thefts and possibly a deferred case. >> Why? Why am I getting arrested right now? >> You're under arrest. You're under arrest for disorderly conduct. >> And you're under arrest for resisting arrest >> because you I didn't do anything wrong. understand there's no reason I should be arrested right now. Literally no [ __ ] reason I should be arrested right now. This is so out of pocket. Seriously, there's nothing. I didn't do anything wrong. I I'm a kid's life. I swear I'm not I don't do blues at all. I swear to God I know what they are, but I don't do them. I swear on my kids life. >> You know the street name for them? >> Yes, I do. I know. I know they are. I don't get >> see my hand. >> How would you do that? I >> have to sweep the side of your bra. Make sure you don't have anything in there. Okay. Hey, widen your stance for me. See my hand. Step in there. >> Don't [ __ ] be arrested right now. Put your foot out why I'm being arrested. >> Put your foot in. We already explained it to you when we were trying to talk. >> I didn't do anything wrong at all. This is so wrong. >> What type of warrants does she have? >> So, theft stuff, DWLS stuff, >> theft stuff. Blown away. >> I'm not taking her without anywhere without my >> Yeah. So, >> okay. Where is your body jam? Did you just rip? >> Yeah. >> So, I am downwind. And that hit hard. Wow, that's hot. >> Dick came hot. I will sight and release my guy. Even though he's kind of being a [ __ ] I'll grab her and transport her down. But we need sex to come see her. >> And fire's coming too. >> She's complaining of back pain. Correct. Let me look at her warrants real quick. >> Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand each of the rights I've explained to you? I need you to send a photo in my face. >> Do you need me to read the rights again? >> I'm sorry. >> No. Okay. Do you understand the rights? >> After being mirandized, she shares her version of events. She thought the officer wasn't talking to her, felt embarrassed, and naturally tipped over some buckets in anger. >> So, I've explained to you no answer. Okay. What's that? >> I said, "Yeah, >> you do. Okay. Having your rights in mind, do you want to talk to me now?" >> No. >> No. Okay. >> Yeah. Yeah. One question. Why do you really deserve to be taken to jail? I've I've been in jail one time in my [ __ ] life. >> Okay. Your warrants would say otherwise. >> My warrants? You're lying. I don't know freaking warrants. >> Unless you gave us a bad name if you give us a name. >> What war? I swear to God. You give us a fake name. No. Okay. >> You have You have warrants for theft. >> No, I don't for what? What are you talking about? I went to court. [laughter] I don't want it deferred. >> Okay, here's what I'm going to do. I am going to go >> one time. >> I am going to go to my car. I'm going to get my fingerprint scanner. Please, >> if if you ended up giving us a false name, >> that's my name. >> Okay. If you gave us a false name, then you're going to get extra charges from >> Okay, that's my real name and I don't have no warrant. >> You do have warrants. That's what we just pulled up on our computer. >> How? But I paid I paid 26 >> something from Federal A and something from Auburn. >> No way. >> Well, can you tell me because I have no knowledge of the >> We'll go through that and we'll go through that in just a minute. Okay. >> As she's walking out, she throws over behind her. So, like All right. Well, we're going to take you to custody on that now. >> Disorderly. >> Yeah. >> I said like three times after that like that's disorderly conduct. You're under arrest. Stop moving. Don't run. Stop moving. Don't run. And I was like, "Hey, if you start running, >> it's going to be more." And then as soon as we put hands on her, she super hard resisting. And then at one point, we go to put her on the ground and she does she tucks her head and does a full flip. >> Hey. Hey. >> Kick me in the back of the shoulder. I'm not >> I don't know if that was just a front flip thing or not. >> Okay. Are you injured? >> No, I'm fine. She had a small thing of blues on her as well and she said they're not mine. Those weren't mine. >> The KCC that they signed. >> Didn't you say that they were going to come and give us the legal update for it? Because >> Okay, I can I'll just do disorderly. >> Officers explained that throwing property is in fact an arrestable offense and resisting definitely didn't help her case. They also confirm she has an orbin warrant for criminal trespass. >> Should have done that. But later they should not have done that. Like I said nothing wrong. And they said I have warrants. Can you tell me why what I have warrants for? Cuz I I'm literally I've been in jail one time ever. >> I can I can look at it, but I I don't know. I haven't looked at anything. I'm just here to kind of get the the quick version of what happened. So I appreciate you telling me that. >> And he's so disrespectful. Literally, he said cuz my fingers weren't dirty. I probably have a a long record of like crimes or whatever. Like I went to jail one time. >> Okay. Well, I'm sorry to hear that. We get called here or we get asked by employees to come tell people that they need to leave. some of the people that you were with were previously trespassed. I don't know if you have been previously trespassed. It sounds like you're saying no. But as soon as the business tells us they want this group of people gone, it is completely their right to ask us to do that. >> Yeah, I totally understand. But like I said, I literally did. And then at the point where you do realize he's talking to you, you get flustered, right? Cuz it's embarrassing. I get that. The problem with throwing the buckets on the ground out of anger, I get it, is that it's disorderly conduct. And at that point, they do have a legal reason to arrest you. As soon as officers tell you, hey, you're under arrest, even if you think it's [ __ ] instead of arguing or resisting their attempts to put your hands behind your back to put you in handcuffs, you got to just be compliant. And then you can argue argue it after the fact. If you think it's BS, that's f that's fair. That's your right. But if you resist when we're trying to put you in handcuffs, it makes it dangerous for you. It makes it dangerous for us. And unfortunately, that's how it played out. Unfortunately, what happens when people resist, we have to kind of begin to do more than just simply try to get your arms behind your back. So that's why they put you on the ground to handcuff you. Okay. In terms of the warrants, I'll I'll go figure out what the warrants are for, and I'd be willing to tell you what those are. I just don't know yet. Okay. >> I'll let you know what the warrants are for. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. >> The warrant out of Auburn for crim trespass >> for Irim deferred. >> Deferred it. >> Yeah. >> Maybe missed a court date or missed something. I don't know. >> They told me I literally paid cuz I paid half for it and for 40 hours community service. I just paid it off like $156, something like that. Okay. And then the other half, she said, "I'm not even going to make another court date." And it was gone. So why? >> For whatever reason, it's in there and it's your name. It's your middle name. It's your birthday, right? And the name you gave me is uh there was one out of Fedway, but I don't think it was you was a different middle name unless you gave the officers in Fedway a different name. And I'm just I don't need to confirm that right now cuz the Auburn one's fine. And we have disorderly conduct from today, right? So But here's the thing. When you go to Auburn next, just check in at the court and be like, "Hey, I got a rent." Or maybe when you when you go to jail today, maybe. >> Officers then find her husband sleeping in the car, blissfully unaware of the bucket storm happening outside. Inside her purse, they locate drug tools and a collection of credit and debit cards belonging to other people. Apparently, it's our suspect's car and her husband has passed out inside and is not waking up. You guys have some drug paraphernalia on his lap. He woke up. We're good. Can I open the door, talk to you? Are you Alex? >> Yeah. >> Your wife got arrested. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. These things happen. >> Um, >> she wanted us to give you her purse and her cash. >> What was she doing in there? >> Uh, she was identified by their store security as somebody who had shoplifted previously and they wanted her trespass. There's a bullet right here on the door just so you guns in the car. >> No, sir. >> Okay. Anyway, she got uh she's under arrest for obstruction and disorderly conduct cuz she was throwing stuff around the store and she got mad. We told her she had to leave and was trespassing all that. So, >> going to jail? >> Yeah. >> Probably shouldn't be driving though. Maybe find somebody else to come drive for you. >> Yeah. I don't know if you smoked or something recently, but I was trying to wake you up for >> I literally was just waiting for her forever. I took a nap. >> Oh, yeah. Okay. Any questions? You contact Kent City Jail and they'll find out how much how long. Okay. In the end, she's booked for tampering with property and resisting arrest and released shortly after. Okay. >> It up. >> Okay, cool. >> I don't know if her phone's on right now. >> That's okay. Yeah, we can work it out. >> The woman explained she used Clarice's name because her credit is better and admitted she had used Claricea's driver's license to lease a car earlier. >> Use her name and not yours. >> Just because her credit is better. Oh, her credit's better. Okay. Was she here with you at the time of the purchase? >> No. >> No. Okay. So, you used her name instead of you. So, you used her name as your as you though. So, you said you were Clarice when you were here. >> Mhm. >> Okay. You said you did. Okay. I'm going to go talk to my partner and uh figure out what we can do for you. Okay. Just hang tight, bro. Real quick. >> What's your first name, ma'am? >> Shai. Shanai. Um >> you bought it for her and her name and stuff. Uh you have to provide a driver's license. So >> yeah. Cool. Did you Did you provide her driver's license instead of yours? >> It came back. Yeah. >> H >> Yeah. You used hers? Okay. >> It came back. >> What do you mean it came back? >> The car came back. >> You mind explaining that a little bit? I'm sorry. I'm not I'm not following. The car came back. >> Brought you brought the car back. >> Oh, you brought the car back. Okay. >> When When did you bring the car back? >> It's been back. >> Okay. Been back. H how long? I mean, I I this is my first time interacting with you, so I I don't I don't know. >> Two months. about two months. You brought it back here? >> Yeah, it was back here. >> Okay. So, were you leasing it or renting it or something like that or >> No, it was uh like a lease. >> It was a lease. Okay. So, you were leasing the they were leasing the car to you and you were doing that underneath Kisa's name and you were saying you're use her driver's license number. Okay. Cuz you >> Officers warned her that signing legal documents under another person's name constitutes forgery and falsification of records. you wanted to uh use her credit because it was better than yours. That's my understanding. >> Okay. So, if that's the case, you need to you need to have her come out and do that. Okay. She needs to come out and purchase her own car because if you're using someone else's identity and someone else's driver's license number, that that's forgery and falsification right there. Uh these are legal documents. >> While searching her purse, police discovered methamphetamine and multiple fake IDs. The woman denied knowing what the substance was, but officers identified it as meth. >> Black coat and dark hat with a hammer. >> Do you know what this is? >> You don't know what that is? I got it out your purse. You're going to be charged with it. What is it? >> I honestly don't. >> You don't? You're going to be charged with it. Whatever it is. So, you just might as well tell me what it is. >> I don't know. You know it was you had it, right? >> No, >> it's yours. >> It was in your purse. >> Yeah. Okay. Got drugs, too. >> Drugs in her purse. >> Cement. >> Yeah. Then two more ident identification cards. During questioning, she admitted the substance was meth and said she obtained it in Akran. Just so you and I are on the up and up. The only reason I want to read that is just cuz I want to respect you and that's just how we do things. So, um, you already have a felony warrant. You know about that? No, it's out of Parma for theft. >> Oh, yeah. They told me to come to open court. >> Okay. >> Well, here's the issue. It sounds like you got a lot on your plate and I don't know what's going on with you, but something's got to change or give or something. Do we not agree on that? Okay. Um, are you going through a hard time or something? Are you just Okay. So the more cooperative you are with us, this is all recorded. So the prosecutor is going to look at that. So if you don't cooperate with us, then we can't say, "Hey, this lady may need some help. She's not just out trying to scam everyone." So obviously this was in your purse. I know what this is. What do you believe this to be? >> Meth. >> Meth. Okay. Did you get it in Akran? Mhm. Are you willing to tell me where you got it? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> The officer discussed the danger of meth use and its deadly effects, expressing concern for her well-being. She was told she had to be taken to jail because of her existing warrant and new charges. >> Do you use meth? Is it for somebody else? Okay. Do you know how bad drugs are in Akan right now? You have any idea? They're like people. Okay. I just care about not telling somebody their kids not coming home cuz they use up meth. You know what I'm saying? So, and we have to do that a lot recently just because they're starting to cut those drugs with like horse tranquilizers. So, it's not been fun. >> All right. I'll pass this along and see what they can do for you. All right. >> Okay. So, you said I'm going to Parma Jail. They're figuring that out now. Yeah, we don't have any discretion on that. All right. >> The woman was ultimately charged with forgery and possession of a controlled substance. Crime and deception always catch up with you. No lie stays hidden forever. Honesty may not bring quick rewards, but it always leads to true freedom and peace. But this is still not the worst case. Just wait until you see this next one. I mean, I I can try to >> I don't know if there's a Yeah. >> passcode or is it face? >> On August 3rd, 2025, officers responded to a Walmart shoplifting call where a man was seen eating food and drinking beverages inside the store without paying. >> Oh, maybe it's Hello. >> Hello. >> What's going on? >> I have this gentleman here that we're following. >> Okay. >> This one right here. >> He has consumed donuts. He has consumed this drink and he has dumped them right now. He has this Dr. Pepper that he's consuming and he has a can of Pringles also in the cart that he's consumed already. >> Okay. >> Uh we were just waiting to see if he was going to pay for it. Um but I mean we already have him on dumping um items already. >> Loss prevention staff observed him consuming donuts Pringles and a doctor Pepper while skipping scans at the selfch checkout. They confirmed he had done this before at other stores. >> All right. And is he on this side or is he on this side? >> Right now he's going to grocery. He's uh going to the grocery selfch checkouts. >> And you guys want to pursue? >> Yes. >> We'll see if he scans the other two things. >> Customer service. Pretty sure that's Hector. I'm pretty sure that is Hector. >> Has he scanned everything? >> He's scanning it so far. Yeah, so far he's at $32 right now. >> Yeah. The most important things that we want to make sure he scans is that Pringles can cam that's in there and that Dr. Pepper that he's going to prov at first. I thought he was going to be a problem. >> No, he leaves. But he does try to like >> grab. >> At checkout, the suspect Richard scanned some items but deliberately skipped the empty Pringles can and an energy drink. He attempted to pay for the rest and leave. >> You have another energy drink. >> He had a Dr. Pepper black cherry zero sugar that he's been drinking. >> Still in the car. [gasps] >> Oh, he's going to pay for that boy. >> He scanned the Dr. Pepper. There he goes. >> See if he scans the He skipped it. >> Yep. >> He went to reach for it and he skipped it. >> Don't do it for $1.97, >> right? >> He doesn't scan the donuts. >> No, he hasn't scanned them yet. Is the Pringles can the last thing in? >> Yeah, he hasn't he hasn't even gotten the Pringles can. >> No, he's [snorts] going to hit that pay button. >> Yeah, he's not going to do it. >> Did he add the Pringles, too? >> He So, the [clears throat] Pringles are still in the can. >> Oh, so he just put >> He hasn't He didn't scan them. He He just ate them and he left them in the basket. >> Oh, so he already ate those? >> He already ate the Pringles? Yeah, they >> When confronted, Richard claimed he was diabetic and ate due to low blood sugar, describing it as a medical emergency rather than intentional theft. >> They're already empty. Okay. >> And he's going to go >> grocery center. >> So, I'm a diabetic. >> Okay. >> And I have low blood sugar. >> Okay. >> My mind isn't functioning properly when I have low blood sugar. Okay. >> So, I'm still going to get charged for the chocolate fe even though it's something that was more of an emergency than anything. >> Yeah. That's going to be something you have to talk to the judge. That's something he'll take in consideration. Right now, we have to deal with what we have at face value. Okay. But this way, >> real quick, man, what's your name? >> J A N. >> Uh >> D E N. >> And do you have a New Mexico ID? >> I have an Arizona ID. >> Okay. >> Can I ask for a favor? I have an earbud in right now and it's playing music and I just want to make sure I can hear you guys. Is there any way you guys can take it off from me? >> Officers read him his rights. Richard repeated his diabetes excuse but admitted to consuming donuts. A Starbucks mocha, Dr. Pepper, and Pringles valued at $6os 39 times. >> Am I? Yeah. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything [snorts] you can say will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have them present with you while you're being questioned. You can now afford to hire a lawyer who will be appointed to represent you before any questioning if you wish. Can you decide anytime you exercise these rights and not answer my questions or make any statements? Do you understand? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. So, you want to talk about the items that you consumed right now without paying for? >> All I the same thing I said earlier, just low blood sugar, not mentally. It was more of an emergency situation than there should be. That's all I really have to say. >> Okay. And do you remember exactly which items they were? >> Uh, a double shot mocha for Starbucks and a two pack of sourdough donuts. >> And the Pringles? >> Yeah, they were sitting right there. I had fun. >> Well, we were watching. You didn't scan the Pringles. >> Thought I scanned them. If I didn't then that's >> my fault. >> All right grand total >> uh grand total of 639 >> and then you guys are just wanting to pursue for the shoplifting. You guys wanting trespass or anything? >> We'll just pursue for the shoplifting trespass. >> So [snorts] they want to pursue for trespassing. Okay. So you're more than welcome to come back. Just >> store staff requested charges for shoplifting and trespassing due to his prior history. Richard cooperated and asked if he could take his diabetes medication. I mean, >> my stuff next time. Next time. You guys mind if I take medication real quick? >> Uh, just give us a second, man. Do you need medical attention? >> I have Well, I have my medication on me, so I was just asking, but that's fine. >> Yeah, >> I think I can I can make it for a few moments. >> Is it for your diabetes as well? Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. >> Is it insulin or >> Yes, ma'am. I mean, if you guys don't mind, I I'll I can I can do it with being cuffed in the front if you guys are willing to be okay with that. It's up to you guys, but I can >> Okay. All right then. So, real quick, I'll go do a citation for come back, have you sign it, and we'll get you going. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, traffic, there's three warrants for traffic citations. >> I don't know if they're traffic citations just yet, but if that's what you can remember to your knowledge, last time you got cited for anything or an interaction, then it might be Yeah. >> Well, the only thing that I gotten cited for was over a year ago, and uh I had gotten paperwork from the court saying that they were taken care of by the lawyer. I mean, you've been cool with us, man. Is there anywhere that we can drop this off because >> No, cuz I brought my motorcycle. Is there anywhere I can take my medication now while this is being taken care of? >> Yeah, we can go ahead and do that for you. [snorts] Um, okay. Let's go ahead and go to the car for now. Okay. But there's nobody like not even a friend. >> Officers discovered he was carrying a knife. They safely allowed him to administer an insulin injection while in custody. >> Friend's house, anything like that. >> Somebody's one of my friends is calling me. I just don't know at the moment. I can't see. We can try to work with you. Okay. >> Where's your medication at? >> It's my right here. >> Okay. All right. You don't have no weapons, anything on you, nothing like that. >> I do have a knife on my left hip. >> Your left hip? Okay. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Anything else? >> No. >> Okay. Just going to take everything out. Okay. >> So, I'm assuming that I probably won't take J until Monday. >> Yeah. >> Because it's the weekend. >> Yeah. Yeah. Be on Monday now. >> So, will they be able to give me your medication? >> They should be able to. Um, as far as the medication that you have on hand, I'm not too sure. >> I know I think I can enter that with your property, but since you have to ask the the >> Is there any way I can take some of that medication right now? >> Because we probably won't make it to the >> Okay. >> to the jail. >> It'll just take It'll just take me a few minutes. It's in the >> Only thing is I don't got water, man. I don't even have water. >> No, the water is fine. I just need the insulin. >> Okay. >> Which? >> Uh, the No, the big one. >> Yes, sir. >> You have to fill, right? >> No, no, no. It's a injection. Uh, >> I can I can do it. It's going to be the yellow one. >> This one? >> Yes. And get this one. That's the one. Yeah. And if you can put it in Yeah. If you can put it in my hand, I can do it. And then >> stick it. We can give you at least one. That's fine. >> Okay. >> Well, we'll just take off one for now. That way. >> Cuz we don't want you to hurt yourself. >> Which hand you use? >> Does it matter? Can you do your left hand? You want your right hand? >> I can do either. I just need I just need the the in my hand. >> No. Been doing this for 36 years. I kind of got it figured out. I'm just going to come towards you just so I can put the cap on. >> And you don't need any any other medical attention though >> at the moment? No. >> Changes. Let me know that we can just get you squirted away from me first. >> All right, man. Go have a seat real quick. Okay. >> Garen. Um I can take your phone and your wallet with you. >> Your hat. >> Yeah. Headphones can't go with you. >> Um, every Yeah, it's fine. As long as I have my the phone port. >> Do you have a friend that can come and pick up all your stuff? >> Um, I possibly do, but I don't I mean, I don't know if he's going to be able to come or not. >> Do you want to talk? >> Richard called a friend to retrieve his motorcycle and groceries, showing cooperation and compliance with police instructions. >> If you guys don't mind, >> there's a lot of stuff. >> Yeah, I'll close that. That way at least you're not just going to >> They should I mean I I can try to >> I don't know if there's a >> Yeah. >> passcode or is it face? >> No, it's it's fingerprint or or code. It's >> Who are we looking for? >> Uh it's going to be the guy red. Go to recents on the very bottom. Red right there. Yeah. And then it's going to be the the top uh option once it comes up. Thank you so much. >> Yeah. No problem. And like I said, you've been cool to us. We're willing to work with you. >> I appreciate it. No, you're not >> the top option. >> This this one. >> Yeah. >> That way you don't lose all your >> I appreciate it. >> Someone's calling me. >> What's up, brother? >> Hey, I need your favor and I need >> What's up? >> I need you to find someone possible to come and get my bike over at the Walmart. >> You need what? What? What? >> I'm being arrested. I need somebody to come and get my bike and >> my groceries. >> And my groceries. >> LCPD. >> Yeah. All right. Love you. Bye. >> I'm at Rinkanada. Got you. Love you. Bye. >> Bye. >> What's his name? >> Red or Richard? >> Richard. >> And do you know what he drives? >> Uh, Black Kia. Black. >> No, he lives on He lives right down the street on Roadunner. >> Oh, okay. Cool. Just so that way he can recognize. So, you want to give him your your bike keys? >> Uh, do you guys have the keys? >> Yeah. >> Do you want to >> or Yeah, that's up to you, too. If you want to just take your phone >> as long if I can take my phone and my wallet and then everything else to him would be great. You can do that, please. >> All righty. You >> guys again for >> Yeah, like I said, man, I I was going to cut you just with the side, but I mean, >> yeah, and I'm like I'm just as surprised as you. >> Officers processed him for jail intake, removing personal items like jewelry and securing his belongings. >> You guys are with the warrants. I thought everything >> I'm hoping it's if it's what I think it is, then I hope I can get it taken care of while I'm in jail. >> Yeah, everything going all right. >> Yes, ma'am. We're going to close the door. >> Yes, sir. You want the air on, heater on, window open? >> Um, I'm okay for the moment. >> Okay, thank you. >> All right, Mr. Richard, can you step on out? >> Yes, ma'am. >> We'll follow that back door there. >> Which one? >> Get those cuffs off you and then uh if you have any other jewelry, anything like that, your belt, just go ahead and take them off the >> Yes, ma'am. >> Thank you. Yeah. Another bracelet, two earrings, belts. >> Now, this purple one, if I take it off, it'll tear. Is it okay to keep it or I mean, >> that's going to be up to them. I'm probably going to make you take it off, though. So, >> do your earrings come out? >> Yes. >> Yes. All the rings. Oh my god. Going to go on over here. >> Hi, Becky. >> Oh, you know, being a dummy. >> Yeah, cuz I just got back in the car. You haven't seen the recliner, man? Yes, >> ma'am. I'll be back. Thank you. >> Bye, daddy. >> Thank you. Richard was formally convicted of shoplifting and trespassing. Additionally, officers found three outstanding traffic warrants leading to his transfer to jail for booking. Stealing, even for small items, can lead to serious consequences and uncover bigger legal troubles. Honesty and responsibility will always cost less than a moment of poor judgment.
