The situation worsened when she started cursing at the children. As the family's grandmother stood up to confront her, Ashley allegedly shoved the elderly woman, escalating the situation even further. >> I don't even know what the confrontation was about. So, we're staring, you know, watching the kids like you should. Sure. >> Um, these people just happen to be next to us. We're looking past them. >> So, they start flipping the bird, cussing us out, yelling at my pregnant wife here saying, "You are you quit staring? I'll give you something to stare at." >> Then she got up, defended, and just said, "Please stop. This is my niece, so you don't need to." >> So, here's my question. Who pushed you? >> Uh, she came up and got up in the grill. >> In the grill? >> Yeah. If you witness her pushing her first and then she defend. >> Yeah. Defending. >> That's all I need to hear. Yes, sir. >> All right, everybody. Oh, I just need your info if you don't mind. Just >> It's all right, man. What do you need? First name. >> Uh, it's just easier for me. Okay. >> Little bit. I understand. But listen, she's out of here. >> I know. >> Like right now. Where you guys from? >> Surprisingly, the grandmother refused to press charges, asking only to be left in peace. It could have ended there. A brief disturbance on a sunny afternoon. But Ashley wasn't done yet. >> If you're going to court, you're losing your mother job and I can't wait. Can't wait. 220 back for battery. >> Madam, >> you're losing your mother. Anger one moment, tears the next, then sudden defiance. By the end of it, Ashley Anderson was booked for disorderly conduct and battery on a law enforcement officer. And that's how a beach day turned into a police report. What do you think? Was [music] Ashley too intoxicated to understand what she was doing, or was this pure entitlement on display? Could the officers have handled it differently or was this outcome inevitable? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
