It's funny too, it's not in it. It's funny too, it's not in it. I don't give a [ __ ] They need to set up a meeting with the Lord and just kill themselves. Are you worried about myself? Okay. Other people? Just myself. It was the evening of August 21st, 2024 in Ohio, when inside a local restaurant, Nicole Bryant's screeching voice echoed across tables. While onlookers patrons froze mid-bite, unsure whether to run or watch, one among them decided to ring in the cops. But here comes the twist, this wasn't their first encounter with her. Does anybody know her? No. What's wrong with her? It's funny too, it's not in it. It's funny too, IT'S NOT IN IT. I DON'T GIVE A Arrest me. Calm down. Arrest me, bro. Arrest me right now. Arrest me. I don't give Stop. You're under Bro. They butt into conversations that ain't about them. That's on them, bro. That's on them. You can arrest me. Go ahead. Where's your ID? It ain't on me. We're going to walk. It ain't on me. You need to stay over there where I told you to stay. It ain't on me. Turn around. It ain't on me. Turn around. I'm already turned. No, turn around to talk to me. I'm turned. You need to turn talk. You need me to turn down. They butt into conversations that ain't about them and giggling about [ __ ] that ain't about them. Giggling is not a crime, at least not for most people, but she took it as an insult. A 10-year-old's joy had turned into a public explosion. As voices clashed, officers pushed in, a sign that this encounter wouldn't end with words alone. They need to worry about themselves. They need to worry about themselves. They need to eat they meal and mind THEY GOD DAMN BUSINESS. ON GOD. That's what they need to do. Anyone else can see the morgue. Anybody else can see the morgue. I only believe in the Lord. Anybody else can see the morgue, brother. I'm not >> You got any other questions? >> your brother, first of all. Yeah, you're not my brother, are you? I don't speak pig Latin. Do you know that? I don't speak pig Latin. Are you conscious of where you're at right now? >> Yes. I'm at a Mexican restaurant. In BG, Ohio. Okay. Where are you from? >> I live here. Okay. What's your name? BG, Ohio. Corrine Nicole Bryant. Okay. What's your date of birth? Nice to meet you. The way Nicole shrugged her way through the first the interrogation made one thing very clear. She wasn't just dodging anymore. She treated the whole process like a joke. I ain't mad at you. I know if you're not mad at me, can you stop yelling at me? Oh, okay. I ain't mad at you. Okay. Oh, okay. Take your information, right? What's going on? Do you Do you have an ID? >> other [ __ ] It's at It's over there, but I can get it for you. I promise, I ain't starting no Go and talk to boyfriend and I ain't starting no [ __ ] I promise. I'm not on that. eating here? Yes. I was eating chips. I He ordered food. Like, I'm not on that. They started giggling about something that they overheard. Okay. That's on them. All right. They need to take they kid and get the [ __ ] out of BG then. >> You do realize that you're yelling at people. I don't care. You're I'm not belligerent. I ain't I ain't threatening nobody and they kids. >> You just told me that right now that they could go to the morgue. They could. The officers were left in disbelief. The whole narrative about the morgues proved how heartless she was when things don't work out her way. It was just not their god damn business. >> Were you talking this loud during that conversation? >> No. Okay. It was just not their god damn business. Okay. And they started giggling. That's on them. >> what happened? >> And they brought they family out. Don't bring your family out if you're going to giggle on a conversation that you know nothing about. Don't bring your family out. Don't bring a small child. And adults with you. >> So after they start giggling, what did you do? What did you do once they start giggling? >> I went up to the table and I asked them if they had a problem. They did. And they started giggling more. What's funny now? And then what happened after that? I'm in your face. What's funny now? All of a sudden it wasn't funny anymore when I was like this at they table. Okay. It wasn't funny anymore then, was it? There were no signs of calming down. What was even more jarring was how she proudly described her aggressive interaction with the family. Their crime? A mere innocent giggle. What was going What was going on? We just We came up here. Hey, is there any way they can cancel my meal? [Music] Yeah, I'll Is Is that fine? Or I mean if it's too late, just let me know. Yeah, uh we just came up here for something to eat Okay. and uh we sat down and I mean the next thing I know she turned around, she said something to somebody over here and it's just whatever happened happened. I don't know. No, she was just Yeah. Okay. Like um So she obviously isn't going to tell me, but does she use any quarter any kind of recreational drugs or anything like that? Like Just looking at her her her eyes were Okay. Okay. Is she having anything to drink? I don't Even her friend seemed blindsided by how fast things unraveled, exposing a side of her no one, not even him, had seen before. Meanwhile, the officers were straining to piece it together, but the truth was already bleeding through the cracks, straight from the victim's mouth. Did you guys arrest her, though? So we've got her over there. Was she making threats? Is that what we're hearing? She was taking care of it. So it's going to depend on what She's most likely at At the most she'll get a citation and walk. That's what I'm what I'm assuming assuming. I mean, I got to make sure with him, but I'm assuming that's probably going to be what happened. Did they cancel that? I don't know. You got any You got any Okay. Can I go and cancel So this really You guys going to be here for a bit? Yep, we'll be right back. All right, so she making threats and what? Uh she was over in these guys' face when we got here. Was it your table or your table? Okay. So what what happened? We have literally no We literally have no idea. I just happened to I guess my daughter said that while we were all talking, she happened to look over there and then the woman went like like that to my daughter. My daughter said she just looked away. And then we were just talking. There is absolutely no reason in the world that justifies her confrontation with the child. The witnesses' recollection hit the officers like a punch. Every movement of hers was loaded with intimidation, making it chillingly clear just how fearless and threatening she could be, even in front of a child. >> And I just happened to like look over and then No, I think she was saying something. She kept going, "You want my conversation?" >> Oh, you want my conversation? And so I just happened to glance over cuz I was like, "What is going on?" And my mom thought she was talking to them and she was like, "Yeah, I'm talking to you." And then she looked at me and I was like, "Well, what?" And then she just started like >> It's She started Nobody said anything to her. I just happened to look over there. >> to a gentle bear crawl just away cuz she was like She was She didn't want to be So like when we got here, she was uh basically talking about the conversation. Did she make any threats or anything? Or Oh, yeah, yeah. Well, well, it depends on how you legally define it. What she kept saying was, "Are you going to drop me? Are you going to drop me?" The mother of the child did exactly what any parent would, protect her daughter. But even that wasn't enough to stop Nicole. Yeah, she actually stood up. And we just ignored her. We just kept looking down and she had her finger in our face saying to my daughter She was literally like this close in my face and I was just You need to arrest her and let her get off of whatever she's on right now. Give me Give me a couple minutes. I'll be right back over with you guys, okay? That's something that they need to work out with the Lord. And they need to No, they need to set up They need to set up a meeting with the Lord and just kill themselves. That's what they need to do. How do they do that? >> There's nothing Kill themselves. There's nothing I can do to help them. Help them what? Kill themselves. There's nothing I can do to help them. Okay. All right. There's nothing I can do to help them. Any advice they don't want to hear. Okay. Kill yourself then. Hearing her, one thing was impossible to ignore. Any trace of sympathy was gone. What she called advice was real life extremes, delivered with a casual, almost playful tone. In doing so, she revealed a mind so detached that anyone listening could feel just how little she valued anyone but herself. Choke on your spit tonight. I don't care. Okay. I'm not high on anything. You're just assuming things. Well, I'm not assuming out of me and you, brother. Cuz you're screaming, you're out of me and you, brother. Well, you're the one making an ass out of yourself right Assuming things will make an ass out of me and you. Don't assume. That's why I asked the question. >> Don't assume. Is asking you a question assuming? >> Don't assume. But that's why I That's why I asked you. Don't assume then. You're high and drunk on something. No, I asked you. >> You're high and drunk on something. Now what? Uno reverse. Now what? Well, I don't see a card. What are you high and drunk on? What am I high and drunk on? Nothing. That's me answering the question. And I'm asking you a question. What are you high and drunk on? Nothing. Nothing? Nope. Cuz you're clocked in. Notice the distinctive bite in her voice, taunting and dismissive. And when the officer pressed her, not only did she ignore them, but threw the questions straight back. Yet here's what she missed. The law is one-sided in that room. Officers are empowered to question you, but not the other way around. >> Are you going to legally trespass from the business that we're dealing with out there? Am I going to what here to what? I'm sorry. Are you going to want to trespass like not to come back here? Yeah, not to come back here and she has a bill that she has to pay. She has a bill, okay. Let's keep it smart. >> Okay. Don't ask me any questions. Okay, what's a stupid >> And I don't speak pig latin. I don't >> So any stupid questions is about me being high and drunk. Pig latin, don't speak it. What's pig latin? Cop talk. I don't speak pig latin. Okay. I don't. I don't speak it either cuz I've never I've been in jail. I speak pig latin. I know it. Okay. I don't speak it, but I know it. In the middle of her rants, she gave a throwaway line buried in the noise, but it landed heavy. She'd been through the system before. For the officers, it wasn't news. It was a reminder of the baggage she was already dragging behind her. Am I speaking pig latin to you right now? >> Yeah. Okay, how am I speaking pig latin to you right now? >> You're a cop. And you were interrogating me. So if I You're a cop and you were interrogating me. You want my You want to get off my I'm not on your ass right now. Yeah, you are. You're literally on my All of you are. Okay. So what's up, brother? Well, I'm not your brother either. Do you remember me from the other day? >> No. Okay. Why were you up in those people's faces? Because they giggled about a conversation that they overheard. Okay. They shouldn't have brought their kids out to a Mexican restaurant and then giggle about another person's conversation if they was afraid for their child's safety. Okay. So they need to keep their child tucked. If they care about their child. They need to keep it tucked if they care about it. She framed it like their laughter was the crime, shifting all blame onto the parents, worse on the child. >> Keep it tucked if you care about it, right? Have you used anything today? No, not a goddamn thing. >> Okay. What have you used today? Nothing, coffee. Cool. Any other questions? Yeah, probably here in a minute once we finish talking to some other people. Perfect. Okay. Great. So get your report ready, write it up, and then let me know what you gather after. Okay. Thanks. I'm going to say DC NO MATTER WHAT. THANKS. OKAY. THANKS, BRO. All right, go and turn around for me. >> Appreciate it. And when the cuffs finally came out, she didn't flinch, not a twitch, like it was routine, maybe even expected, but the reality is darker. Restaurants already rank eighth nationwide for violent incidents with more than 10,000 cases in a single year. And her rant echoed the very patterns that turn public spaces dangerous. Drug test me. Drug test me. You going to drug test me BG and it's going to get real awkward. Why is that? Cuz all I have is weed and alcohol in my system. Okay, well you told me that you weren't on anything. Weed and alcohol, that's it. Okay. And weed's legal here, right? Yep. Long as you're 21. I am. Yep. I'm 23. Yep. All right, come over here. That's beautiful. I didn't see anything. I knew this was going to happen. Do you have anything else in your pockets? What's what's in your pocket here? I don't know, brother. You can search it if you need. Well, we got to search it. I know, brother. What does that look for? That's a That's creepy. You're creeping me out. I'm not going to lie. You see, just seconds earlier, she swore she was clean. Now, with that same audacity, she shrugged off the lie, admitting to alcohol, flashing a vicious smile. Look at your body cam. I'm giving What's that for me? I'll creep you out. I ain't doing nothing wrong. That's my house key. House key? I ain't doing a goddamn thing wrong, brother. >> have anything in your pockets back there? >> thing wrong. I'm just getting arrested. Yeah. That's probably dab pen in there, brother. There's probably a lot in there, brother. You better You better keep searching. You better keep digging. There you go. What else you got? What else you got, brother? >> That's it. Oh, look All right, you got anything on your hat? Can you take your hat off? All right, go ahead, brother. I ain't done nothing wrong. Do you know who Hulk Hogan is? Huh? Do you know who Hulk Hogan is? Uh Yeah, I love Hulk Hogan, brother. I ain't doing nothing wrong, brother. Uh that's why I'm like, we'll go down there. I'll take that drug test. I ain't worried about it. You think I'm on drugs? I'm not. Strap me in, brother. I'll take this drug test. Most people tense up when the cuffs come out, but she didn't. She laughed, kept it casual like the arrest was a joke only she got. But once she was locked in the patrol car, the officers were back to the witnesses, recordings in hand, building a picture of what really went down. She didn't, from what they told me, she didn't really make any direct threats. It was more of a uh who's going to drop me, you going to drop me, and then invited somebody to stand up, but never Did the Did they Did the police ask her to leave? Uh I'm not They didn't say if they she did. She just said I don't want her back. She got video at Spicy. She got video? >> I think that there'll be some sort of threatening language in there, but you can at least see it. It's quite >> Can I watch it real quick? I mean, for some of it, I just had the camera pointed up, but I got off Facebook some of this, too. Um yeah, you're off of this. I got my house key. ARE YOU GOING TO DROP ME? ARE YOU GOING TO DROP ME? Which one of y'all are dropping me? Oh god, I was And now one thought was bouncing in the room. Were the recordings really enough to hit her with a charge, or was the story far from over? Also, let's not forget, legally, trespassing means stepping onto property after being told to leave. But in her case, that line never came from the owners. So she's kind of just going on with that whole drop me thing the whole time, kind of getting everyone's personal space, and um kind of where we're at right now. Right. She was telling you to stand up? Okay. Um did you feel threatened by her? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. 46, yeah, 45. How old is she? Uh I believe she's 24. She's like 6 months from the meth. She's 6 months from being a street walker. We've had We've had a few encounters with her, so I just told him like the nose dive is fast. Yeah. That poor guy. Not that he wasn't high, too, but he wouldn't do anything and he was trying his best. While the officers interrogated, the grandmother admitted it. Her hands wouldn't stop shaking. Not the kind of tremor from nerves, but the kind that hits when you're staring fear in the face. Oh, she's she's in jail. She's in jail with you? >> in jail. Yeah, she was threatening people. I told her to stop when I walked up. She was trying to turn on me, which she wouldn't walk where I told her to go. She's going to jail. Yeah, cuz a fool like that, you go to jail. So You know when she's getting out? Uh earliest would be tomorrow unless somebody bonds her out. More than likely, the judge will give her an OR bond tomorrow morning, I'm guessing. So you couldn't even bond her out tonight, anyway. Well, somebody could because they're both minor or they're both on misdemeanor charges. We're talking hundreds? Oh, yeah, yeah. Like menacing, I I I know that the DC's 250, and I think the menacing 10% of the menacing, I think, is I got I don't even know. I know it's none of my business, man. What's going on with this girl? I know you guys know her. You guys know her. >> have contact We've had multiple contacts with her, so I don't know. I mean, I'm her neighbor. I just came up with her to get I mean, all this just broke out. I came up with her to get food. By now, she was officially heading to jail for menacing, which under US law means putting someone in fear of imminent harm, a charge that can carry fines up to $1,000 or even jail time. And this wasn't just a one-off incident. It's grounded in real numbers. Every year, over 10 million misdemeanor charges are filed in the US involving menacing, people who intimidate and leave others in fear, just like she did here. Yet amid all this, her friend was still in a dilemma. He knew her, but not well enough to know her real identity, prompting him to ask the officers for confirmation. I ordered some taco salad, short of queso, and was going to eat chips and stuff, and the next thing I know, she just turns around and looks at this other table. I don't know if she thought that somebody said something about her or if somebody did say something. I don't know what happened, man. I don't She She wasn't making a lot of sense with me, I'll be honest. back, and all I heard was her saying some [ __ ] and I was just thinking, man, hey, let's just get our food. Our food's not even here yet. Like don't do any of this kind of [ __ ] right now, but Oh, she uh yeah. I get it. I've never seen her hit anybody in my entire life. I've never seen her. She's all bark. I've never seen no bite yet, but Yeah. There was a small girl up there at that table that was completely frightened, and I was really pissed off about that because like it She was a pretty little girl. She was And you could tell she's never done anything wrong in her life, and she was frightened as [ __ ] Maybe, just maybe, for once, we can believe that all she did was all bark, no bite. But the little girl's trembling hands told the truth. Right then it hit him. Just her presence, nothing more, was enough to make fear take hold. Well, yeah. And that I mean that's why she's in jail, but I mean I don't know, man. I don't know what to tell you. I know we've had interactions with her and she's been acting similar. My guess is she's on something right now because uh she was she had indicators of being under the influence of a narcotic, so Yeah. >> Um that that'd be my guess. Man, she used and then flipped out, so All right, good luck, man. Yep. She don't I know how this works. >> I have anxiety, by the way. Okay, anxiety? Really bad. I'm medicated for it. You You take meds every day for it? Yes. So, they're going to ask you a bunch of medical questions, okay? I know. >> Make sure you're honest about it, so they can And right here she admitted she'd been battling anxiety for years, still taking her meds daily. And those earlier outbursts were proof of it. People living with that kind of weight don't just get anxious. They erupt in ways that blur the line between fear and fury, and that's exactly what everyone had witnessed. I've been booked before. Here? No. You said it You said Hancock. You said Hancock, right? Not Never. Yeah. >> Never Wetzel County, though? No. Okay. It's nice. Seem nice. Finley's was beautiful. They just got it renovated. The Yeah, they've been working on it for a while, as far as I know. >> How nice. It's nice till it's not. You get your ass beat in your sleep. I understand that. I don't blame you. All right, you step in here. Just go right down to that gray cabinet. Hello. Hi. How we doing? Good. All right. My name is Stephanie Scolaro. I'll go be IN HERE ALL NIGHT. WELL, it depends. I don't know why you're here yet. Do we have paperwork yet? Uh they should be sending it over. Disorderly and menacing. >> That's all right. Okay. All right. Um I'm a menace. What's that? I'm a menace. The officer laid it out there. Menacing wasn't the only thing hanging over her head. Disorderly conduct tagged right along. The price you pay for turning public space into your own stage of disturbance. After all that noise, the charges were the only thing louder. All right, any hospital visits in the last 24 hours? No. No. >> Okay. I'm going to go ahead and take these off of you, okay? So, go to face the wall for me. All right, that's all right. What's that? That's all right. Okay. I'm going to take this out of your hands. You don't have to hold on to that. My Apple Watch. You want to stop? Bust it up? Is it? Yeah. You see You see it before it goes in the property for you. Any thoughts of self-harming or harming others right now? A lot of harming others and a lot of harming myself. Okay, I'm going to ask you again because I just want you to be very clear on this because if you're being sarcastic, there's going to be different precautions and measures for you. So, if you're being serious, I have to know. I don't want to hurt myself. Okay. Other people? Just myself. Nicole walked into court facing menacing and disorderly conduct charges. Menacing didn't stick, but disorderly conduct did. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 28 suspended, and handed 2 years of probation. On top of that, a $280 fine made it clear the system had marked her and the consequences were real. And that's a wrap on this chilling case.
