Hey everyone, everyone who's supposed to be there for you is not even the cops aren't there for you. >> Cops aren't there when you need them. >> Oh my god. Oh god. >> Stop touching me. >> There's nothing wrong with holding on to your inner child, but when you're being arrested, you have to act your age. However, not everyone understands that. Some grown adults managed to make a fool of themselves with their bizarre childlike reaction when caught breaking the law. >> You can record all you want. Don't come up on him like that. Okay, that's officer safety. >> Get in my car. What are you talking about? >> Listen, do not start cussing. I will take you to jail. >> Because I'm cussing, you going to take me to jail? >> It's called loud. >> Because I'm cussing, you going to take me to jail? >> It's called >> Because I'm cussing, you going to take me to jail? On June 20th, 2023, a man crashed his car in a ditch, allegedly because the driver in front of him suddenly slammed on the brakes. But the officers soon discovered there was more to it than that. >> Tried to avoid a van. He was coming in here. I guess they were heading southbound. Okay. >> Um I was I mean down this road and then the white van break, but he break late and I didn't want to hit him so I turned. >> Okay, that's catch me. Yeah. Okay. >> Are you okay? Any medical assistance? >> No. >> Oh. >> Was he Was he breaking to turn in here as well? >> No, he just like break there. >> But he But >> right there, >> but his brake lights literally didn't turn on >> until I literally got like right there. >> Okay. >> At first, the young man was calm, collected, and his story checked out. All that time, hostel police officers had no real reason to doubt him. They called in a tow truck to retrieve the damaged vehicle. But then one of the officers opened the crash vehicle and he caught sight of a familiar scent. >> Hey sir, when I opened the car to turn the steering wheel to get it up on the trailer, I smell in the car. Were you smoking? >> Yeah. Yeah. You were smoking? >> Yeah. >> Okay. He admitted to smoking >> there. >> Is there any in the car? >> No. Okay. Nothing at all? >> No. Okay. You smoked at all? >> I didn't smoke today. >> I don't mind. Just be straight up with me because when I open that car, I smell it. Like I mean, if you lie to me, that's going to cause problems for you. Just be honest. >> If you asking me why? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Were you smoking in your car today? >> Nope. >> Is there any in the car? >> We have a red search whole vehicle. >> No, >> we don't. >> No. We'll take care of a warrant for that. That's fine. Okay. >> All right. You got all right with these three. >> The moment the young man confessed to smoking, he realized he'd made a mistake. He thought that refusing to permit the search would save him. And as it turned out, the officers didn't need his consent after all. >> So, who does not want us to search his vehicle? >> We don't need his consent. Right. >> You smell the That's all I need. I didn't want to go with and see what he was saying. Want to search it before he pull it up? You're good, >> Roly. Uh, give us one second. We're going to search right quick. >> Right here, sir. >> All right. So, check this out. Because the odor is so strong in the car. Uh, >> I can't check it. No, I said >> Hold on one second, sir. >> I said no. >> It doesn't matter. >> I said you. >> We don't need your consent because we just asked. You literally just asked me over there. >> Definitely. But now >> you just asked me over there. You literally just asked me. >> Hey, listen. Listen, listen. >> He just asked me over there and now he going to search it. So why would he ask me? >> Why are you going to let me talk? Hold on. Okay. >> So he could just search it. But why would he ask me though? >> You said you you are you going to let me talk? >> Look, >> why would I listen to you? That's that's not going to help my case. >> You don't have to. >> The officers were already suspicious. But this outburst from the suspect made them even more sure that there was something in that car. As the officer searched his car, the kid became increasingly irritated. >> Listen, all we need is the odor. All I'm saying is you can record him all you want. Okay? Do not approach him from behind like that. That's the only issue I have. You can record all you want. Don't come up on him like that. Okay. That's officer safety issue. >> You're in my car. What the are you talking about? >> Listen, do not start cussing. I will take you to jail. >> Because I'm cussing, you going to take me to jail? >> It's called loud. >> Because I'm cussing, you going to take me to jail? >> It's called disord >> because I'm cussing. You going to take me to jail? >> Disorderly conduct. You're being loud. >> You can't take me to jail cuz I'm cussing. >> Don't tell me what I know the law. >> You going You're You're going to take me to jail? >> I am being very calm with you. >> Mommy, >> listen. Here. Here's what I would do. >> Take him back away from >> Okay. Okay. Yes. >> Realizing he can't stop the search, the kid's hand started shaking in anger and his stance was increasingly aggressive. >> I literally I I didn't even call you, bro. >> I understand that. >> I literally didn't even call you. >> Fast survived it cuz you ended up in the freaking trees. >> Yeah. >> I don't give a I'm good. >> I will give you one more opportunity. >> Going to take me to jail cuz I'm curseing. You going to take me to jail cuz I'm cursing. >> Cloud and curse one time cursing. >> I'm not mad. >> You're mad cuz I'm cursing. >> I'm not mad. >> You mad as hell cuz I'm cursing. >> Look, >> you mad as hell. >> Back there. >> Is wrong with you? You mad as I'm cursing. You mad. >> Just stay back there. >> You mad as hell. You mad as you. What? What? What? >> Harris. >> Yeah. >> If I hear one more curse word, we're going to lock him up. This mother has asked me can he search my car. Then he said he said then he said I'm going to search your car. Are you good? Like I'm not going to run the wrong. >> No matter how hard his mom tried to calm him down and get him to just walk away, the kid just wouldn't let it go. That's a pet. >> They want to search the car cuz the guy on it want to >> I'm done. >> That's why they want to search the car. That's why they want to search the car. >> That's why I want to search the car. That's what I want. Here. Here. Take it. Here. Take my phone. >> Turn around. >> Take my phone. Keep >> turn. >> There you go. >> Keep recording. >> Keep recording. >> Keep recording. >> You mad as you mad. Haha. You mad as you mad as you mad as you're mad as you're mad as you have nothing better to do. >> What the is wrong with you? You have nothing better to do. You're mad as >> You're going to give her the paper. >> You're mad as >> Oh, we might do these. >> Lighter. >> Okay. >> Is lighter. Mon is lighter. Mom, here's his lighter. Mom, here's his lighter. Such a dumb [ __ ] bro. >> The kid was obviously expecting to get arrested. He deliberately taunted the officers and once they handcuffed him, he continued berating them. >> You mad as you better do all day. I'll bail the out. It's nothing to me. Do it. I'll bail out. I'll bail out like it's mine. >> I'll bail out like it's mine. Come on. >> Come on. I'll bail out like it's nothing. What? >> What? What? What? What? >> I'm >> Are you bored? >> Sit down. >> Are you bored? >> Sit down. >> Are you bored? >> Sit down before I make you sit down. >> Are you bored? >> Are you bored? >> Are you bored? >> Are you bored? >> The officers mentioned noticing nestagmas or involuntary eye movement in the suspect. That's usually a sign of substance abuse. In the meantime, the officer searching the suspect's car found some incriminating evidence. >> What is that? >> What is that? >> What is that? >> Look at a bunch of blunts and ashes from the from the blunts in here. >> But he didn't say he's not smoking. He said he's smoking. He He admitted it. Right. >> Yes. So >> So what is >> So So how it works is he's under the influence. Okay. So that going to stay in his system. He said that he admitted to smoking. That means that he is in his system while he's driving. It's impairing him to it to a point that it's less safe for him to drive. >> If we're being honest, this situation wasn't about the crash or the weed. It might have started out that way, but it was the suspect's bizarre behavior that made the situation worse. >> Mommy, stop talking to them. What the hell? >> Mommy. Mommy. >> Oh my god. So he used to give you everything I can get in there. Okay. Head it down to the jail. >> Yeah. Wait just a minute. Hold up. Hold up. No problem. You okay? >> Yeah. >> All right. Hold on. >> I never experienced this before. >> Yes, ma'am. I could understand. He's got to You got to chill out. >> Can I talk to him, please? >> Yes, ma'am. You got >> Hold Hold on one second now. Back up. >> Hey, you got one more time to kick this car. >> That's fine. Calm down. >> Talk to mommy. >> Hey, dude. Can I talk to my mom? That's fine. You can, but you better calm down. >> Damn, bro. >> This is the last time, bro. I'm not your bro. >> Sabi, what? What? >> You're going to be respectful that you are >> calm down. >> Yeah, the officer is here. >> There you go, ma'am. >> Can you calm down? I am coming to jail. I am coming there. Can you calm down? >> The woman somehow managed to talk some sense into her son and got him to calm down. He was then transported to Cobb County Jail and charged with DUI, disorderly conduct, and failure to maintain lane. On September 12th, 2024, a woman crashed her car outside a gas station. Fort Dodge police responded to the scene to find her in the middle of a full-blown childish tantrum. >> He wasn't answering. I was knocking on his window for like two minutes and nobody was answering. So I was like, I'mma go cuz I'm not gonna wait forever for you to answer when I'm the one who got all the damage. Like my window went out. My whole window went out. What happened to his truck? What happened to his truck? >> Got a lot of damage, dude. That doesn't mean you get a leak. >> It doesn't mean I get a leak, but I tried I tried to be here. I tried to knock on his window and get him to answer. >> She told me she was drunk. But now she's also said that she's just buzzed. So >> I just want to ride home. Just give me a fine. Give me a ride home. >> This charge of my insurance. I'll pay it later. >> She's going to ask you some questions. >> I got to >> It's funny that the suspect Maya complained about the damage to her car because according to the man who reported her, she was the one who hit him and then attempted to flee. All right, Maya, can you can you tell me how much you've had to drink today? >> Probably like three twistes. >> I probably shouldn't be driving and I won't drive no more. >> Three twisted te's. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Please give me a drive home. >> What time? Honey, you tell me what time. >> Drive home. I will pay the insurance. I will pay the insurance for whatever I did. Just please I'm just take me home. >> I understand that. But first, we're going to have to get some questions and some answers from you. Okay. >> What do you know what time you had those twisted tees? >> Probably like 2 hours ago, 3 hours ago. >> Did you ingest anything else? Any drugs or anything like that? Do you have any medical conditions like with your eyes? >> Yes. >> What do you have going on there? >> I'm I'm low key. I'm blind as hell, but I don't be wearing my contacts cuz I don't know. I lost them all and I haven't went and got any contacts and um I don't I broke all my glasses. >> Maya confessed to being drunk, being blind as a bat, and not wearing any glasses or contact lenses. >> Have you smoked like a cigarette or anything like that or >> drank or bait today at all? >> Okay. None of the above. >> Is there anything in your mouth right now? Nothing in your mouth at all? No gum? Nothing? You haven't used mouthwash or anything like that or chewed gum? >> Nothing. Can I please give my insurance and you should give me a rental? >> We'd like to do some We'd like to do some field sobriety testing here with you real quick. You >> would you >> would you agree to some field sobriety testing here real quick first? >> What is that going to do? Just so you guys can send me to jail. All I want is to get to my first house and it be okay and go to sleep until I go to work. That's all I want. All she cared about is going to her friend's house and sleeping it off. She acted like a child who just wanted to get out of punishment. >> Please don't take me to jail over this stupid >> Well, if you're driving impaired, that's against the law. So, we got to find out. >> I'm not. >> But you've been drinking today though, you said. So, >> I have been, but I'm a little tit. >> Okay. Are you going to Disney Friday test or Okay, then you need to stand up. It's time to act like an adult. Yeah. >> Okay. >> We're going to >> we're going to run you through these tests. >> We're just going to get through this. Okay. So, >> yes, let's do this. >> So, toes to toes, heel to heels. Stand with your feet together. >> Let's do it. Let's do it. >> Okay. Arms at your sides. Just follow my instructions then. Okay. Um I'm going to check your eyes. And you said you're not wearing contacts. Correct. >> Yeah. But obviously my eyes been beat up, so don't [ __ ] blame them on me not being able to look straight. >> Well, you just got to do the best you can. Okay. Try to follow my finger. So, you're going to follow my finger, which is the stimulus. Okay, just my finger. >> Maya obviously failed the test. But the interesting thing was that she repeatedly threw tantrums. >> Just do the best you can. Okay, >> everybody. Everyone is supposed to be there for you. It's not even cops aren't there for you. >> Cops aren't there when you need them. >> Maya, you agreed to this testing, right? >> Yeah. Let's go. Come on. Keep doing it. >> Okay. I need you to focus then. >> I'm sorry. I'm a little upset. I can tell. But I need you to focus. >> I need you to focus. Maya, do you understand the instructions? >> Yes, I understand. Perfectly clear. Walk nine steps. Walk nine steps back. Front to heel to toe. >> Maya, while you're toe, I got it. While you're walking, let's do it. Do it. I know. I don't. >> Okay. Now we're gonna just drive me home and give me the five now just so I can go to sleep. >> We got one more test left, Maya. >> Fine. >> Maya, we got one more test left. >> Go to sleep. >> We got one more test left. >> It was obvious there was no way Maya would be able to do the one-legged stand. At one point, even Maya gave up. >> What leg? >> Put me in jail at this point. Just put me in jail. I don't >> I'm just going to have you do the test. >> Just say I failed and put me in jail. God, I don't care. I just want to go to sleep. Maya, we're going to do this test in a minute. Okay. >> Maya >> 1,237. [Music] Thank you. >> Okay, you can stop. You can stop. I'm just asking if you'll submit to getting a breath test done with us real quick. >> I don't know why you can't just give me a ride a block away. I'll pay the fine. a ban. >> I understand. Maya Maya go to sleep and let me go to work at 4. Let me be Why is it so hard? Let me live. I'm so sorry. Hey, >> I drank a little more than I should have. I don't I don't usually drink. This is the one I drink a little bit. I get >> with her failing all the field sobriety tests and acting like a drunk child. There was more than enough reason for the officer to take her to jail and charge her with DUI. >> Just going to get in the car. >> Just give me a ride home. >> No. No. >> As a girl, you don't understand. >> Yeah. >> I just want a ride home. >> We're going to get in the car. >> You're going to be my phone. Let me call my grandma. Let me call my grandma. Let me call my grandma. No, let me call my grandma and then I'll get in the car. Let me call my grandma. Let me call my grandma. >> No, I know my right. Let me go up in the car now. >> Let me call my grandma. >> Let me call my grandma. >> In the cart, >> sir. Sir, >> let me call my grandma. Let me call my grandma. That's all I'm ask. >> At the Webster County Jail, Maya couldn't even do the breath test correctly. After a few failed attempts, she looked like she was going to pass out at any moment. >> Do a really big inhale for me and then wrap your lips around it and try to do a really long big breath. Not all at once. Just slow and steady. >> Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. >> That's all I can do. >> Try it again. Really big inhale. >> Zoom off. What I said, it's got to be a big longer breath. Try it again. [Music] Got to be longer. Like like you're trying to blow up a balloon. Just one long slow breath. You can do it. You can do it. It's easy. Try it again. Big inhale. And you have to do it for a long, long, long time. Long time. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. You got this. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. be gone. >> They charged her with OWI and interference with official acts. When an 18-year-old commits a home invasion and armed robbery, it's clear he's got a lot of issues. But on June 2nd, 2024, the officers sent to arrest him had no idea just how long and wild their night would get. Get your dogs. Get your dog. Step up. Step out. Step out. Step out now. >> Step out. >> Hey, don't you grab that. >> You step up on me, you're going to >> grab me. >> Stop resisting. >> Watch. >> Don't stick your dog on him. He didn't. >> I don't know why threw him on the ground. >> Stay over there. >> Disrespectful. >> Ma'am, back up. >> Away from me. >> Stop. >> They beat the door open without a warrant. >> Step away from me. They beat the door open without a warrant and ripped out. >> Yes, you did. I watched you do it. >> Mo, you beat it open without a warrant and already beat this case with Jeremy. How? You want to go through it again? Like, >> y'all cannot come over there and rip the door open. >> Door is not ripped open. >> I know it was. Door open. >> Yes, it was. You all know y'all up. >> Okay, it's all recorded. >> Yeah, I >> The young man allegedly invaded an old man's home, threatened him with a knife, and then stole $60. But the night wasn't over yet. >> He's positively identified in a home invasion, robbery, and a assault. You will get sprayed if you keep banging on the window. >> Something you need, officer. >> What's that? >> Something you need, officer? >> If you keep banging on the window, you're going to get sprayed. You understand? >> Spray me, then we'll take it to court. >> What's that? >> These cuffs are in front of me. I got to touch the ground. >> I've already done this before. We can take this to court. Make them as tired as you want. >> Oh, pop out. >> Shackles real. >> Oh, are they going behind the back now? You just ripped me out my house without a warrant. Broke my door open. Come in my house. Rip me out. Tell me put my dogs up. >> Then I have to come out my house. I have to put my dogs up. It'll be a lawsuit against her. And I will all your badge on his own name written on a piece of paper and given to my lawyers. Thank you. My lawyer is Sandra T. She is my public defender. He have been through this before and he will go through it again. Better. >> Go ahead. Unlatch. >> He showed zero respect for law enforcement and kept kicking the inside of the patrol car. >> If he breaks that pay, he's catching another charge. Spray him. I'm man if he I'm telling you he's got this is it. You warn him one time and spray him. >> No, >> not banging on anymore. >> Yes, officer. >> It's the last chance. >> Huh? >> It's your last chance. >> You are going to get sprayed if you keep banging. >> Okay. >> What is >> We're going to the PD. >> Spray me. >> He's been warned multiple times. >> No, he can't. You walk up to me, I will consider him a threat. >> Baby, quick, baby. >> Crazy. That's crazy. >> He's damaging state supported property. >> Sign mileage. >> Going to detox right here. >> Shirt coming off. And uh >> I like the way you draped it. The pepper spray didn't do much to improve his behavior. Even on the ride to jail, he kept trying to provoke the officer. Once there, he continued with the same bizarre behavior. >> Oo. >> Are you going to try to name it? >> Well, depending on how long I'm here. >> Okay, then you can stay. >> That's fine. >> Kick up your left foot. Bottom of it. >> You can push it. >> Same thing with your right. >> You got it. Damage me up. Damage. Oh, more the more we will. >> What if I have something in here? Actually, I do have big dude. There you go. Despite being adults, suspects as young as this kid are often treated as kids who made a mistake rather than as criminals. That's why some judges grant low bail or even drop charges, leading to the youngster feeling like they had beaten the law. >> Are you done? >> No. Okay. Are you going to continue to throw a temper tantrum? >> Yes, I am. >> Okay. You will be sprayed. >> I will be sprayed and keep going. >> I want you to hear this. >> I will keep going. >> I want to be crystal clear with you. >> I will keep going. >> That this is your warning. Okay. >> Wait a minute. On camera. Do it then right now. Do it right now. Do it. Do it. Nothing like a man, [ __ ] >> I'mma waste every can you'll have. Yeah, keep it. I myself right now. >> As the officer left the room, he didn't point out that rubbing a pepper sprayed shirt into one's face does not make things better. When he toned it down a bit, the officers returned to help him out. However, he still did not cooperate. >> Before y'all can even do anything, I promise I'm going to myself. Before you can do anything, put this on a joking. I don't give a about my laptop me for no reason. I will myself right now. That's how it is. Y'all rip me out my house. [Music] You think I will? You think I will? What happened? >> Home invasion, robbery. Y'all me. >> If you chill out, we'll take them off and get process and then we'll get you out of here. >> I'm not I'm chilling. >> You are literally 2 minutes away from me letting you have a chill. >> I am cold. >> M sit there and be chill. He continued smashing his head on the bench and screaming his heart out. Then suddenly he calmed down just enough that the officers finally took him out and let him wash his face. >> Flash the water. >> Oh, >> when you act a fool, you get foolish prizes, man. That's all I can say. >> Can I get a paper towel, please? Please. >> I got this. I got [Music] my hot thing. >> Oh, >> you actually have to like rub your eyeball, you know? That's the only That's the only way that you could do that. >> It's scary to think that at his age, he's already capable of breaking into a home and assaulting someone with a weapon. Yet, deep inside, he's still a child. >> Stand there. Don't know. >> Can I wipe my face? >> No. No. Keep your hands down. >> Perfect. There's no man. [Music] [Music] >> The more you touch with the hands that you touched your eyes with, >> I don't >> the more that's going to burn. So, don't touch your body. >> Okay. Oh my god. Oh my god. I can't do it. >> You have to stay there. >> You got to stay still. [Music] My face. My Oh my god. He was eventually charged with armed robbery, home invasion, aggravated assault, and felony resisting arrest. On June 2nd, 2024, police were called to a residential neighborhood after a woman refused to leave someone's driveway. [Music] What's going on? >> The alarm. >> Well, I know that. >> Yeah. >> You don't have the key? >> Oh, you have the key? >> I don't have the key. >> Okay, good. >> You going to step out or No, >> you want me to step out? >> Yeah, so I can talk to you >> about what? >> Well, what's So, we're getting called here. What? What's going on? >> I don't know. Nothing much. >> Do you live around here? Maybe. >> So, this gentleman says that he doesn't want you here. That's why. >> Okay, let me find my keys. >> Well, you can't be driving. You've been drinking. >> Where? >> You I smell a bunch of alcohol coming from you. >> Oh, is my dog's piss in here, too? Is that Taco barking? Who's Taco? You have a K9 unit on you? No. Okay, back to >> you. All right. >> Are you I'm fine. Are you? The young woman has to be one of the strangest suspects the officer has ever encountered. But instead of getting clarity, things just got weirder by the minute. >> I'm not talking about a dog. I'm talking about >> Yeah, I'm not talking about either. >> This gentleman, what's what's your >> Oh, no. He's just being a gentleman, right? Trying to go to sleep so he could go to work tomorrow. >> So, what's going on with you? >> With who? You working right now? Just like you would tell your lady, can you be quiet because I have to work early tomorrow? I have bedtime. >> Mhm. Right. I mean, whether you do or don't have a lady, whether it's a dog or a cat or a fish or snake, >> you're not making any sense. >> Me neither. I don't have pets or a girlfriend or kids. >> So, you're you don't have a boyfriend? Nothing like that. Okay. >> No boyfriend or nothing like that. >> What's your name? >> The one on my ID. >> Well, can I see your ID? >> Can No, not really. I don't know where your unit is at. I don't know where you parked. >> What does that have to do with anything? Well, I mean, you can take me home or to where do you want? >> Wherever my house is. >> What do you want? >> SUV. >> After closing the door, he started thinking about his next move. Meanwhile, instead of calming down, the suspect just resumed shouting, honking the horn, and crying. [Music] >> What's going on? [Music] We just need to turn off the radio. >> Look, we're just trying to get you home. >> Where's home in heaven? >> I don't know where home is. >> Me neither. >> Okay. So, why you making >> the dog pound? >> Why are you making it difficult? >> The dog pound. >> What's your name? >> What time does it open at? 9. >> What's your name? >> Valenuela. >> Do you live here? >> No, she doesn't live here. >> My car. >> Is this your car? >> Yes. My mother. >> I'm going for her in Hues right now. >> I don't think you're right. >> I don't think I'm right. The officer did offer to take her to the hospital several times, but she just kept trolling him with nonsensical answers and insane gestures. So, you're being trespassed. So, you have to leave the premise right now or you're going to go to jail. >> Left or right foot? >> Look, on my way. >> We're telling you right now, if you don't leave right now, >> let me leave. You're going to jail. >> Okay, let me leave right now. >> Okay, so let's go. >> Let's go. >> So, get out of your car and start walking. >> Okay. Oh no, we got some toilet paper just in case. >> If you come back to this residence without the >> You are going to get charged again. >> So then I need to find my keys so that the person that comes pick up the vehicle does not get charged again. >> Get your keys. >> Okay, let me find them. Excuse me. >> Hurry up. >> Removing the suspect from the location proved to be harder than anyone expected. At that point, it looked like she didn't really care if she wound up in jail. >> Get off the property now. Are you going to go to jail for trespassing? >> Excuse me. Can you close my door and I find the keys? >> Get off the property. You're going to go to jail for trespassing. >> Am I alone? >> Let's go. >> Yep. >> Get out. >> Prove to not helping yourself. Hop yourself. >> Get out. stuff. Get out. >> He's going to pull it into a radio shot. >> Step up. >> That's it. Tight in it more cuz I'm a child. >> You were acting like a child. Look at you. >> The girl gave the officer a crazed look, then slid out of the car, falling on her back. She was placed in handcuffs and put in the squad car. Guy, [Music] help. Help. >> Sit up. >> Help. >> Ow. >> Let's go. >> Okay, let me sit up. Why you trying to force it? >> Watch your feet. >> Down. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Whoa. Whoa. >> Bring the arms for us. outside. [Music] [Music] Once the officers managed to untangle the suspect, they carried her inside like a sack of potatoes. >> Hold me right. You can't hold me right. Hold me right, left, right, left. >> I'm not strong enough to hold you. >> Just put your feet down. >> Just put your feet down. >> Hey, stand up. Can you pull me to stand up? Thank you. They said don't try to run from the marshals. >> Have a good life. They said >> I sound like ladies. Am I is my oxygen level low? >> I got to check your first relax. >> Oh, I got to take one sock off if one foot is cold and the other one is hot and then if my hands are sweaty and the sbakas are wet. >> Oh, what? Sakos armpits. >> Can you just relax for me? >> Not really. When someone's dipping on when three people are dipping on. >> Sit down then. Sit down. >> Yeah. >> Oh, let me kind of hyper and you're >> Oh, yeah. I'm kind of hyper. >> The suspect kept wiggling around even though nobody was holding her at that point. >> Stop touching me. I don't like touching me. >> Can you stop? >> I don't like her touching me. I don't like that he's touching me. >> I don't like that he's touching me. No, I don't want that to touch me even if it's for my stick up there if it's forced. I'm going to relax harassment repeated advance. I can't even see that far favors. >> Huh? [Music] >> I mean my baby daddy's amante. I mean, >> you're hurting me. No, she's bullying me. She's forcing me. I know where she's taking me. Why you having a walk? To prison or federal 10year-old patrol or to my mom? [Music] Oh, >> after being cleared by the medical staff, she was taken to jail and charged with criminal trespassing. On May 11th, 2024, a patrol officer with the Police Department saw a black sedan with a Tennessee license plate as it was pulling up into a Walmart parking lot. Hey, I was just checking the uh placard. I'm seeing who whose name it was in and if you were the the owner of the placer. >> My grandmother, she went in the store. >> She went in the store? >> Yes, ma'am. I had dropped off. She went in the store, but I can move. >> I come on. >> How'd you drop off? >> I I just move. >> Nope. Okay. I need you to see your ID, please. I need your ID, please. >> What do I do? Cuz you're parking in a handicap and you're not allowed to park here. >> Yes, ma'am. But I just said I was going to move my grandmother. She's handicapped. She's in the store. >> How did she come out of this vehicle? >> I dropped her off at the other end. >> She come out of this vehicle. >> I dropped her off. >> Did she come out of this vehicle? >> I just remember. >> Can I get your ticket, please? >> I haven't done nothing, ma'am. >> No, you're parking into a handicap a vehicle or parking spot using someone else's. >> My grandmother is handicapped. I dropped her off in the car. >> How did she How did she get up here with all this stuff in here? Just move. >> Okay. Can I need your ID, please? >> Even though it only requires common sense. The woman didn't seem to know that one can't park in a handicap spot if they are not handicapped. >> I have a zoning thing. >> You have and I'm requesting your ID and if I don't get it, I will arrest you. >> ID. >> It's just simple. >> And then your children are not properly in their >> nursing unbuckle. You just s here and find a reason to mean it. >> She didn't unbuckle them. >> I unbuckled them. I was getting ready to get out the damn car. >> You just not parked. I came up right behind you and saved your car. You did not turn around and unbuckle them. >> Yes, I did. You weren't in here. >> So, you I want a supervisor or something cuz I you you feeling real hostile. >> I need you to I need you to get I need you to get a supervisor cuz you with me for no reason. >> There's no need. You need you get I need a supervisor cuz you mess with me for no reason and I told you I would move. I told you I would move. >> No, it just something. >> Yeah, you mess with me for no reason. I got my kids in here. I do not feel safe with you doing these. >> There's And you're you're escalating this. You're going to >> Come on, man. Come on. Come on. Do what you got to do. >> Step out here, please. >> It was clearly just a case of several minor traffic offenses. There was absolutely no reason for the suspect to put up a fight. >> You can't get somebody else here. I get out of the vehicle now before I make you get out of here. Do you want to do this in front of your children or not? >> You got the ID. >> You said you answer my four. Walmart. Get out of the vehicle now or I will make you get out. >> Why you grabbing me? >> Why is you grabbing me? >> I have one assist you. >> Get out of the [ __ ] now. >> Just get out. out on me. And if you now grab me because you refuses to put that in your bathroom. Instead of trying to deescalate the matter, the suspect did the exact opposite. [Music] [Music] May I get into my >> murdered me? Get out. >> Somebody [Music] However, it was pretty clear that the woman wasn't going to stop resisting until she got what she wanted. >> I didn't escalate this. She did. >> I did. >> Give me this. >> Give me your arm. She crushed my arms. I just offer on the way. Give me another officer. >> Officer on the way. >> Give me your arm. >> She pissing my arm away. >> I don't feel safe with her. >> She grabbed me. Oh my god. She grabbed me on my door. She grabbed me out my car. >> A few minutes later, a sergeant arrived at the scene and tried to get the situation under control since the female officer was being accused by the onlookers as being a bad cop in the situation. She stepped away and let her superior deal with the suspect. >> Roll over on your side. >> Roll over. >> Roll over on your side, ma'am. Roll over on your side. Roll over on your side. Sit. Have you sit up? Okay. >> She don't need to do nothing, bro. >> Can you sit up? >> You can look at me. She won't have to sit up for you. >> Come on. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Are you okay? >> Okay. Are you all right? Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Can't get to my >> Listen to me. I'm going to have to stand up. >> I was going to move. Well, I told her I was sorry and I said I was going to move. My grandmama was >> Okay. Okay. You all right? >> Stepped on me. >> Okay. Can I help you stand up? >> I didn't do nothing wrong. >> Okay. Can I help you stand up? >> I did. She still pull me out the car. >> The suspect was obviously in distress. Realizing the presence of the female officer was triggering the suspect, the sergeant asked her to move away so she would calm down. >> I'm going to have you stand up. Okay. What I want you to do is put this foot behind your knee and get on this knee so I can help you stand up. Okay. >> There you go. There you go. Okay. You ready? One, two, three. >> There you go. >> There you go. >> Okay. Okay. Breathe. >> Breathe. Breathe. You all right? All right. What's your name, ma'am? >> It's on the ID. >> Okay. I'm Sergeant Do. Okay. Can I get you to do me a favor? I'm going come over here and let you have a seat in my car. Keep breathing. I'm going to get past come check you out. Make sure you're okay. All right. All right. Come on. >> Come on. Come on over here to my car. Okay. See, dear. Come on over here. The suspect was identified as Brashari Falner, a caregiver and a mother. And even though she threw a tantrum like a toddler, if her disabled grandma really was there, Brashari was legally allowed to park in the handicap spot. >> So, what happened? My son is handicapped and my grandmother is, but we was in there. My grandmother was in the store, but my auntie was driving her car for her and I was trying to I was trying to car I was trying to just bag in and wait for that spot to get open so I could pull over there cuz my grandma wasn't in the car. And then she came to my door and she dropped on the door and then I let the woman down. I was just trying to see what she what and she said she she was up there reason to me and then she asked for my ID and I said I haven't done nothing and I told her I said I'll move it's nothing serious I said I'm sorry I'll move and then she said give me your ID and I told her I said I haven't done nothing and she kept on egging at me and then when I gave her the ID she told me get out the car but I haven't done nothing and I asked for a sergeant multiple times and she didn't she waited until she threw me out the He grabbed me out of my car. I wasn't doing My hands were on the steering wheel. My grandma I told her most of the time my grandmama is right there. >> My grandma right here. Why would I laugh when my grandma would not help? >> As it turns out, Brashari actually had a legitimate explanation for parking in the handicap spot. Something she could have calmly shared with the female officer from the start. Instead, she chose the hard way and ended up with charges for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and a handicap parking violation. On August 22nd, 2023, after receiving multiple complaints about reckless driving, a police officer pulled over a red Camaro. But the moment the female driver stopped her car, she jumped out and started getting confrontational. >> Hey, hang on real quick. >> What? Hold on. You don't have no reason to stop me. >> Yes, I absolutely do. >> No, you don't. I'm >> Get in the vehicle. >> Don't punk me like that cuz I >> I'm not trying to punk you. >> I'm pulling you over. Don't hop out of the vehicle like that. >> Do anything. I got to go to that. I don't want to be >> Is your name? >> No, my car's over there. >> Is your name? >> What does it matter? You can't arrest me. I haven't done nothing. Okay, look. My I have to bury this my knees. My car is in the back of that shop. Okay. The blue one. I need to go get it. My name is Corporal Marquez. I work with the Carlsbad Police Department. >> I know. And I haven't >> I've gotten three calls today. >> On this vehicle that Oh, really? That's >> Yeah, maybe this morning said all >> when my kid got lost and my grandkid don't forget. Okay. And I haven't found >> Can I see your license, please, >> dude? >> Not surprisingly, the suspect challenged the officer, claiming he had no right to pull her over. She was coherent at first, then as time progressed, she slowly but surely slipped into pure chaos. >> You guys know I'm legit. Y'all just trying to pick on me and don't go there because you know what? >> Do you have your registration as well? >> I report it all day long. I don't want to lose my car. Don't take my stuff. It's legit. >> Ma'am, this is a traffic stop. I'm going to take your documents. >> I'm not going to keep them. Okay? I'm hanging on to them. >> Do me a big favor. Just hang on. You were going over there, Rost. Marcus, I mean, you were there. I seen you. You and you paying attention to me, >> ma'am. You were just on the public road. I have every right to conduct a traffic stop. >> Don't. >> Now, please. >> Hell. >> Hang on. >> Okay. Well, let me >> You are not free to go. I'm telling you right now, you're not free to go. >> All right. But you're not going to get >> The woman's behavior was getting more bizarre by the minute. She followed the officer to his car, reaching with her hands like she expected him to give back her documents. right away. Then she turned it all into a conspiracy theory, claiming that her grandson/son was missing. >> They know >> what's wrong with you. >> Cuz you cuz they're trying to They're following me everywhere. >> Who's following you? >> Who is it? Look at what they've done to the whole car path. I can't even. You guys don't even help me out. My grandson is out there missing. >> No, but you say they're following you. Who is following you? >> Every Mexican, every white guy, everybody. Hey, can I see that? >> I I he can't arrest me for false charges and that's a lie because I know I'm legit to I just got my >> I just got my police report yesterday. So don't go there. Nobody know. And my car stole you looked it up. >> Have you looked up messed up? >> Hang on. >> No, you're not going to give me extra. Don't do it. You're going to mess up. >> Sir, give me my stuff. >> Sena, just stand for me over here. Okay. They're not taking my stuff. >> What are you talking about? >> No, he tried to arrest me. >> He was looking to Rome another. But >> you were looking for my son. >> My son is missing. >> The suspect identified as Yenia likely had active warrants which the officer suspected early on. She may have realized that, too, which could explain why she began to walk away. To prevent a potential escape, the officer moved in to detain her with handcuffs. >> Help me. I didn't even do nothing. I was driving. I caught everything legal. >> Give me your hand. >> My grandson's a message. >> No, I'm good. I said, give me your hand right now. >> Give me your hand. >> Give me your hand. My grandson's missing. My car is stolen. Sir, the Camaro is mine. Help me. >> You know what they said about you guys? >> Roll over right now. >> Stop. >> Okay. Don't hurt me then. >> Stop. >> Sist. >> Give us your arm. >> I didn't do nothing, sir. Now you're going to hurt me. >> Give us your arm. >> Okay. >> Okay. I'm >> okay. You know what? Give us your arm. >> Okay, let me show you something. >> All right, you're getting taste. >> Okay, now tag me. >> You're getting taste. >> No. >> Give us your arm. >> Okay. You grab my arm. >> You have it. >> Yes. >> Give us your arm. >> They're both down. >> There. You got it. >> That's on video right there. >> Yes, it is. Stand up. Every second of it. >> Stand up. >> The officer's approach may seem like torture, but when a suspect is resisting like Yenia was, officers are authorized to use force. A quick jolt of electricity was all it took for Yenia to give up. >> Walk on your side. >> Walk. >> No. Hey, my son. My grandson's missing. >> Walk. >> And no one said nothing. Okay. Thank you. >> Stop. >> I'm changing. >> Get in there. >> I can't breathe. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> You're getting tape. >> No, don't take it. >> Get in there. Hey, >> you know what? They gave me a passion. >> Get in there. Okay, you're hiding me. Oh, he's video camera. Yay. >> Get in there. >> I'm right next. Okay, man. >> Get in there. >> I know where he's at. I'll tell you. You want me to tell you? >> Don't take me. Okay. >> Yeah. In the car. >> The person. Hey, we're going to take you to the medical center so you can get checked. >> No, they're doing you know what they did to this one guy? They gave him a lot of shots and they're switching his >> You're not getting the shot. >> He No, he told me that they're they're doing stuff to the blood. >> Okay. >> At this point, the officer probably wondered if Yenia was having a mental breakdown or dealing with deeper psychological issues. Either way, nothing she said made much sense. It sounded like the ramblings induced by paranoid delusions. >> Okay. You know what? My son died shot. >> Okay. My mission in life is just to make it whatever. >> Don't shoot me. Please let me on. >> Where are your keys? >> Let me >> put your cuffs on. >> Okay. >> Here. Put them on. >> Okay. >> We're not going to tell you again. >> Even if you put them on in the front. >> Open it and put it back to me. Look at my hand. >> Okay. >> Just put them on. >> I worked at two jobs, you guys. How could you? Am I peed on myself? >> Hang on. Hang on. >> Let me get some air. >> Okay. >> I'm pregnant and I'm dying in here. I'm glad that lady videotaped that. Oh my god. >> I don't know what you're saying. Come on. Get up. >> We're not trying to give you a hard time. >> They're going to check. >> Go this way. >> Hey, go that way. >> You wanted to come to the hospital. Here we are. >> Okay. Give me my >> Just keep pregnant, though. >> They're going to check you out. I'm not supposed to be paid. Look, I don't have naked. >> Whether Yenia's condition is the result of a mental health issue, abuse of drugs, or both. It's a weird situation for all involved. Admirably, the medical staff and officer did not let it get to them. >> If you calm down, >> man. I will happily get you some water. Just please calm down. Are you thirsty? >> Yeah, I'll get you some water to make. >> Okay. Oh. Oh, this is too tight. Take it off. >> If you'll be still, it'll be done. No, it's done already. You cut it too tight. I felt it. >> Hey, just yeses and nos. They don't need the whole scale. >> Come on. Look at my hair. >> I know. I'm looking at it. >> What do you think I'm going to do? I'm scared. >> I'm scared. No. No. No. >> No. I'm scared of him. The suspect eventually had to be restrained on a hospital gurnie so the staff could evaluate her condition. Her incessant yelling was disturbing other patients. But no matter what the officer said, she just couldn't be reasoned with. >> You're making a fool of yourself. >> But take these off. I'm defensive. >> Hey, is that do >> There's a chair right behind you. >> Hey, remember you guys are two big cops, right? >> Okay, >> man. You're going to hurt me now. I don't want to be shocked. I don't want to leave there. I've been hurt. I'm not sitting on that t on that chair, bro. Okay, give me my water. >> There's kids around. I got you a fresh water. >> A You said a bottle water, homie. >> I got you. >> Look at my lips. Look at my lips. You know they look fresh lips like this. >> Oh, absolutely not. >> You think I want to die and be at the park like this? Hey, >> stop yelling. >> Do you think that? >> Why did I have to be born like this? I didn't have to be here. I didn't have to. My mom had to have me. Why? So I could lose my kid. So I could lose my family and I could be like this all mying life. After being medically evaluated, Yinia was taken to jail for failure to appear as well as resisting and evading or obstructing an officer. On December 1st, 2024, a woman from Ohio found her daughter lying face down in the bathroom with her pants down. She already knew her daughter was drunk, so the cops were called to the residence. >> What's going on? Who called the police? My stepdaughter. >> Okay. Where's your your step where what's your stepdaughter's name? >> Armani. >> Okay. Can I speak to her? >> She ran across the street over there to the fire department. She come home drunk and belligerent. Passed out in front of the kids. Found her in the bathroom floor. Passed out in front of the kids >> and her mom got on her and then her and her mom she get talking crazy and her mom told her she had to go and they get the car, you know, got a little heated or whatever. Then she turned and runs out the house and tried to make a big scene. She left and she came home. >> And she was here. >> She left again. She came home drunk. >> And she was in my bathroom with the kids screaming, "Mommy, >> right." >> What? Um >> 11:38 11:38. Yeah. >> We just got home >> this morning like probably 30 minutes ago. >> The couple explained that their 26-year-old daughter, Armani, had a drinking problem, which is why they had custody of her kids. Hoping she would get sober, the couple would regularly allow her to visit her kids and let them bond. But this time, things went south. >> She's starting to calm down. >> She's drunk. >> Yeah, that's what you sound like. >> Really worked up. So, we got her a little calm. I think another minute or two she she might be able to answer some questions. She's finally starting some things. So, she got her she got look like mater. >> Hey, Armani. My name's Officer Mark Police Department. Can you get your arms out of the snail, dude? Pull your arm out. Okay, I'm going to take your arm out of his car. All right. >> My brother earlier, he went to I was going to call the psychiatric pull out. Okay. >> And then she started fighting me. >> Remind me what happened today. >> I literally just walked in the house. I literally just got >> Where did you get home from? >> I was I was just, you know, with a friend. just want to come to help. Armani is clearly very intoxicated and doesn't seem to be capable of talking properly. Even so, if her mother beat her up, she's the one who could be going to jail instead if she hit her mom first. >> I mean, exactly what happened? I mean, she's on the bathroom floor, passed out. Then what happened? >> I'm waking her up. I'm like, "Are you so embarrassing? The kids are here." She like, "Um, um, I'm not an alcoholic yet." And then biological dad passed away. She keep on bringing that up. And >> it's like the first time. >> Oh, that's what was said. But what was done? >> So, they got into >> Okay. What? Well, who's they? I'd rather if if it's they, if you're referring to they as far as her and her, I'd rather have her since she's right here in front of me. explain it to me as opposed to you. I appreciate it, but it's better to come firstand instead of secondhand when the first person is right here. You understand what I'm saying? >> Yeah, we both Okay. >> She was calling me a bunch of she swung at me and I threw her on the bed. >> Okay. >> The mother admitted that a physical altercation did take place. She said that after she threw her on the bed, Armani had already grabbed the phone and started heading to the fire station. What didn't count on her mom's favor, though, is that Armani looked pretty banged up. >> Punching me, boy. >> Punched you again. Again. This the second time I didn't press charges. There's another >> face there. I'm sorry. [Music] >> Is that what happened with your >> I don't even got no shoes on. I ran across. I ran here with nothing. I ran with nothing. >> I ran here with nothing. No shoes. Nothing. Nothing. >> I can't tell. I don't have lipstick. I don't have lipstick on. I don't wear lipstick. >> I don't I don't wear I don't wear it. >> Armani said this was the second time her mom had assaulted her and that she was finally pressing charges. However, she never mentioned lying face down with no pants in the bathroom. >> She was like, "Oh, so so so and just start she just start sweeping." know honestly I I can't remember I just defend defend myself [Music] >> I just start defend I don't shoot >> I don't I ran nothing >> so I just said a few clarifying questions you said you walked into the house and that's when your mom swung >> I I haven't been in the house 10 minutes I can literally show you time stamps I can literally call the person that Just I'm sorry. I'm >> I'm just asking some clarification. >> I'm not and don't think I'm coming at you. >> Arm. How about this? Just stop talking for a second. Let me ask some questions and only answer the questions I'm asking you. All right. Okay. So So you you had just gotten home about 20 minutes ago and that's when your mom immediately started swinging on you. So you were not home previous to that. You weren't passed out in the bathroom. You weren't nothing like that. I >> wasn't in the room. >> So you would have no knowledge of you being home for longer than that or sleeping. >> I wasn't room. I just got home. Okay. >> When the officer mentioned there were pictures of her passed out on the floor, she brushed it off. In her mind, she had the right to be passed out on the floor because it was her home. >> Just been coming here. She been staying off and on here what couple weeks since with the kids just to see just to just to visit her kids because the kids is here, >> right? I get you. Do you know that her ID comes back to this address? >> She not supposed to have that on there. We done told her plenty of times to change her ID. >> Yeah. That's cuz she be having several warrants and they be looking for her. >> Yeah. >> So the moment she got out she got one out of Georgia but they only pick up if she's in Georgia for it. Unfortunately >> you know she had one. >> Yeah. >> She has a record. >> She don't have a room or nothing. >> I got a gas if I see >> Yeah. Yeah. >> See how much stuff is there? >> Yes. I found her but the door open. 11:30. The kids is by the door. I'm like, "What's going on?" >> Right? >> So, yeah, I started screaming. You know, you embarrassing. It's nasty. It looks horrible. You know, finally got her up. She go in the room, slam in the door, dragging the kids in the room. They screaming. I'm like, "Hell no." >> By this point, she decided to tell the whole story. She claimed that Armani got mad, saying they were her kids before swinging at her mom. In any case, the officer decided not to press charges. They just trespassed Armani and asked her to leave. >> She just beat my like what? That doesn't matter. I've been living here over 6 months. Over a year. Yes. I have my own apartment because guess what? I'm grown. >> No privacy here. When I want to my man, I go to my apartment. Yes. >> Yeah. So, you live in that apartment? >> I don't live there. >> Well, that's going to be >> they can vouch there. That's going to be a civil issue. You can >> They could literally vouch for them. I don't live there. I haven't been living there. They could tell you my apartment's been empty for years. >> Or do you want the straight of it? I mean, we're just going to keep going back and forth. >> How does it make sense? >> Because you said you walked in the house and she started beating on you for no reason. >> She started on me because I walked in. >> Stop. >> But I've got They've got a photo of you in the bathroom, passed out far before you said this happened. All right. And then you're telling me that you don't remember. So, you are not a viable witness in and of yourself because of your intoxication. Do you understand that? >> She obviously did not understand. In her eyes, she was drunk in her own home and her mother assaulted her. After a bit of back and forth, the officers persuaded her to leave. However, moments later, mom decided to show the cops a video of the altercation. >> Was she trying to fight you? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm saying you to come outside the >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Right. Leave. >> Oh, no. I said he told me to leave. >> 100%. >> I know. >> I didn't join it. >> Turn around. You're under arrest for disorderly condom. >> Serious. >> Absolutely. >> You told me I got stand on the sidewalk right there. >> Right. But you I'd also told you if your behavior continued, you'd be arrested. Drop the purse. >> Drop the purse. >> I'm on the phone. >> You were I have I've seen the video. So your mom showed me of you in front of her house yelling and screaming acting disorderly while you are intoxicated. So you are under arrest. >> Armani got arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. And that's a wrap. Thank you for being part of the Untold Files.
