He The intoxicated woman couldn't understand that by driving with the child, she was putting the child's life at serious risk. On the other hand, she kept blaming the child's father for the entire situation. Her anger and emotional outbursts kept escalating. How far could things have gone if help hadn't arrived in time? has a big ego and so does his [ __ ] brother that lives in the [ __ ] basement. So, like I don't like Okay, well we'll see issue. We'll see if we can resolve this for you. Okay. my car keys is what I need because that's what he's keeping from me and he has no right to keep those. He's the issue, I'm not. I'm trying to Why do you think Why do you think that you're intoxicated and shouldn't be driving and holding the keys? Because we're adults and we drink alcohol. Okay, I get that. you asking me that question? Well, I'm I'm trying to find out what's going years old. Get my car keys so I can put my child in the [ __ ] car. Thank you. Danielle. No. I'll talk to her a little bit. Um so, he's saying there's nothing physical at all. Um So, what happened tonight? Uh just some drinks and uh I've had a few myself, but I think she had a few too many, so um Well, she's pretty emotional, obviously. Yeah, yeah. Why is she like that then because We were I was got I was found this officer, we were together before. Um now we're not, but we were being friends and trying to work Got you. Uh yeah. To be honest, she wanted sex and I didn't, so Okay. And then that's when it honestly happened. That's when things got out of hand? Yes. Yes. When I got has she had to drink tonight? know, maybe six Truly's, six or seven. I I got to look at the box. I've had like three or four myself. I don't know that she's like impaired. not impaired, I wouldn't say, no. I mean, I can smell a little bit of alcohol on her. I mean, just a little, not a lot. Okay. Yeah. I mean, I don't know that she's too drunk to drive. Okay. Okay. I mean, I just was scared for my son's sake, so Was she drinking like when you were here? No, that's what my problem was. I didn't know what she drank when she came over cuz she smelled like booze and then she got in the shower and washed off and then had a few more Truly's after that. Okay. She told me she had four before she left and that was it, but I thought I smelled liquor. That's what worried me was I could smell I mean, just really faint. Yeah, no problem. And it doesn't appear that she's like highly intoxicated or appeared that that maybe she can't drive. Yeah. It this has been going on for like an hour and a half. I walked all the way down the street, walked back to hopefully settle things down and then that's when I came back and she was walking out with my son and I was like, I don't know if you can drive, so Okay. And that's your big your big concern is Yes, exactly. Yes, 100%. Nobody was assault assaulted or threatened or anything like that. some furniture was thrown around in my room, but I wasn't in there at the time. That's when I was walking down the street. When I came back, I came back to a wrecked room, but Thank god I wasn't So, to take care of the problem, we get her keys back and she can go on her way, right? Yes, I can do that. Yeah, yeah, but you're going to let her drive with my son? She That's your son. That's Yes, that's my The woman's emotional behavior was certainly disturbing for everyone. Meanwhile, the officers were gathering all the necessary information from the man. He was a sensible individual and provided them with everything they needed. When he mentioned that they had consumed a lot of drinks together, it became clear that the woman was heavily intoxicated. son and her son. So, we're going to let her take my son. So, you guys have never been married? No. No. There's no like custody agreement, anything like that? No. Okay. Have you guys ever lived together then? Yes, like I said, we've uh faced charges before, um assault, child endangerment, and domestic violence. Okay. Um we've been through the court case and all that stuff and worked on it. It's been like five years since that happened. I asked her if you had any children together, she said no. So that you guys have that child together. that's our son. Yes, that's that's him. Okay. Don't know why she would say that probably because she doesn't want me to have him anymore after tonight but I was just trying to keep him safe. That was my sole priority. Okay, she lives she said she lives in Huron. Yes, I live right off the apartments. Okay. How long ago did you guys live together? Uh five years ago. Five years ago. Yeah, 18 19. Yep. Okay. Well, do me a favor. Did did you give the other officer any kind of uh I gave him all my contact information. cool. What I'm going to ask you to do is stand here. Okay, we're going to go over and talk to her try to find out what a little bit more. Get her to settle down. And if we find out that she's not impaired then we'll then we'll try to get her out of here and send her on her way. Okay? Fair enough? Are we going to let her take my son? Well, there's nothing I can do with that. Yeah, right. You guys aren't married. No, you're right. Okay. You guys you guys don't have any custody agreement or anything. Stay stay over here for me. we don't have a Stay back here for me so that I'd I'd like to just go sit on the porch. That's fine. Thank you. Jeez. She's been drinking a little bit. Yeah. He tells me that that's that they have that child together. So So uh go over there and get the keys real quick from him and uh let's talk to her a little bit more and see if we can find out if she's impaired or not. Okay? Doesn't sound like there's any assault or anything like that. no no. Yeah. on well, that you that you that you think could be driving under the influence. Right, I don't know what it is called. Breathalyzer. That's what the [ __ ] I know, okay? So until you do that, you cannot tell me that I'm intoxicated or not intoxicated because you cannot just [ __ ] assume. You can't. Can't. Danielle. I'm not stupid. Danielle. He tells me that that's that you guys have that child together. This is my kid. He has no rights to him. I didn't say he did. I'm just You told rights towards him so that he can't me that you didn't have a child together. Right, we don't cuz I take care of this child. But but it but you guys have a child together. This is my kid. understand it's your kid, but it's his kid, too, right? Okay, this is what we need to do. I can smell a little alcohol on you. Congratulations, you can do a breathalyzer test and tell me that I'm not after living together for years, things between them had gotten so bad that the woman's behavior was becoming completely out of control. During all of this, the man's honesty with the officers and his role in pushing the investigation forward was absolutely necessary. And he did just that. The woman clearly deserve the harshest punishment for her actions. Her reckless behavior had crossed every limit of responsibility. Well, this is what what we'd like to do. We want to make sure that you're not impaired. Congratulations. You want a sticker? You want to cooperate with us or not? I'm listening to you and my daughter. No, you're running your mouth and you're not listening to me. do that. I'm listening to you. Am I cutting you off? Well, I'm not. So, I'm allowed to say whatever the [ __ ] I want to. We want to check and make sure that you're not impaired. Congratulations. Okay. And if you're not impaired, we'll give you your keys back and you can go on your way. Congratulations. Okay. Cool. We'll take a couple tests real quick first. Because I'm not impaired. I want my car keys. I want to go. Then let's do that real quick and let's get you out of here. Okay? Yeah. This officer here will check you real quick, okay? child down. It'll only take a couple minutes. Chase, take our [ __ ] kid. Can you do that? You want to take my [ __ ] kid, right? He has a a broken elbow, so be careful carrying him. You got the keys? Why is the whole front in front of the other [ __ ] thing? I'll get to that point. All right, so go ahead and stand facing me, feet together, arms out to your side. Like such, okay? Right. All right. Follow the tip of my finger. 360 Don't move your Don't move your head. Just follow your Follow with your eyes and your eyes only, okay? Arms down to your sides. Can you find Daniel in house number 12? Keep your head still. All right, we're going to go vertical this time. Keep your head still, just look your eyes up, okay? Keep your head still. The woman's constant emotional and uncooperative behavior was creating even more problems. However, the officers wanted to perform a sobriety test to assess her condition. They began with the HGN test. Could someone in such a state really follow instructions properly? Honestly, I don't think she could perform the test correct. All right, so this next test we're going to do is the walk and turn, okay? We're going to use this line, okay? You see this line? All right. So, the way it works is I I'll demonstrate for you. All right, 10 steps, right? I'll I'll I'll demonstrate for you, and then I'll have I'll Are you Do you have any injuries that would prevent you from walking in a straight line? No. Okay, perfect. So, I'll demonstrate this to you, and then I'll I'll explain to you when to start, okay? So, you're going to start with your left foot on the line like such. Right foot in front of your left, arms down to your sides like this, okay? All right. All right, go ahead and get in that position. On that line. Okay. So, don't move until I tell you to, okay? Okay. You're going to take a series of nine heel-to-toe steps down this line. Heel-to-toe steps down this line. Once like such, okay? One, two, three, simulating that I just took nine steps. Right. You're going to take a series of small pivot steps until you get completely turned around. All right, my steps back. And then you're going to take a series of nine heel-to-toe steps back down the line. Okay. Look down at your feet and count your steps out loud as you go along. Do you have any questions? No. Okay, You may begin. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 All right. So You have no right All right. so I can take him. Thank you. All right. So, this next test we're going to do is the one leg stand. All right. So, you're going to stand feet together, arms down your side like so. Just go in the get in that position. All right. So you're going to raise your left foot off the ground. Not yet. Wait until I tell you start. You raise your left foot off the ground, you're going to look down your feet like so, okay? Okay. You're going to look down your foot and you're going to count in the manner like this. 1,001, 1,002, 1,003 and so on and so forth until I tell you to stop, okay? Okay. You understand? Yep. All right, perfect. Go on and begin. 1,001, 1,002, 1,003, 1,004, 1,005, 1,006, 1,007, 1,008, 1,009, 1,0010, 1,0011, 1,0012, 1,0013, 1,0014, 1,0015, 1,0016, 1,0017, 1,0018, 1,0019, 1,0020, 1,0021, 1,0022, 1,0023, 1,0024, 1,0025, 1,0026 All right, go on and put your foot down. Walking nine steps in a straight line was no joke. She was far too intoxicated to perform it properly. However, she still tried her best to exaggerate the situation. Honestly, she definitely deserved a salute for the effort she put into trying to save herself. But, failing the test didn't spare her from the consequences of the law. Her actions only made her situation worse in the end. Well, I can tell you right now, I would not let you drive. I wouldn't. After what I observed in your eyes, absolutely not. Okay, well, you can do the breathalyzer test, which will really tell you how much I really drank. We'll We'll get that. Huh? That's what? She doesn't have any family. She doesn't have anyone who can come and get her. Hey, seriously? Hey. No. Yeah. No. Yeah, he says you're impaired, you're not driving. I'm not impaired. From this Listen to me. It doesn't matter that I'm impaired. You're intoxicated by the what he tells me. You're not going anywhere. You want to start yelling and screaming at us? impaired until you do a breathalyzer test and I'm legally over the limit. I tried to make you do a breathalyzer test. You wouldn't stand up. I don't have to stand up. Where is that in the book? Where is that? it in the book? If you think you know everything, where is that? Pull it up. Pull it up. Because I'm going to tell you right now there's no law that says I have to stand up to do a breathalyzer test. coming off of you matter. Anyone that drinks alcohol It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You have to do a breathalyzer test. You have to do a breathalyzer test. Do you have somebody to come get you? You have to do a breathalyzer test. Do you have someone that can come and get you? You can get your sergeant. I'm the supervisor, okay? another supervisor that actually knows what they're talking about because Stop running your mouth, you're going to jail. Okay, you're going to jail. Let's go. You're under I'm not under arrest. You're under arrest. You're under arrest for disorderly conduct. You're under arrest. Quit resisting. Stop resisting. You're going to catch another charge. Stop resisting. Now you're being charged with resisting arrest. Stop. Stop. Officer Miller I haven't done anything. I haven't done anything. I said Jesus, seriously. I don't want to fight. Can't even talk right now. I don't This is my first time. Stand up. Don't play that game. Stand up. Stand up. My body cam came off. Yeah. And really, Jesus. Is this what you want right now? here on the ground. Really, Jesus, is this what you want? Is this what you want? Is this what you want? Really? Really? Seriously. However, failing all the tests and showing extremely uncooperative behavior, if the woman thought she would get away, that was impossible. When the officers tried to take her into custody, she started screaming and shouting. She kept protesting continuously, and her resistance kept increasing. I haven't done anything, Jesus. I didn't do anything. I didn't do anything. Is this what you want? Really? Really? Really? Jesus. Get in. No. Jesus. Get in. Get in. Jesus. Get in. Hold on. a minute. Get in the car. Hang on. Quit. Hang on. Get up, James. We don't want this in there with her. Here, you want to remove one cuff? I got the arm. You too? Yeah, come over here. Take this one off. Where did my phone go? I don't know. It was on the ground over there. Don't be a stupid ass when you want to be. Where was my phone? I don't know. I have to work tomorrow, so I need to know where I can call my phone. Your mouth's locked. Danielle. Come on. Come on. Come on. You had no problem fighting me earlier. Come on. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Let's go. The officers managed to control the woman's resistance and took her into custody, but her behavior did not change. Ultimately, what was this woman hoping for when all the evidence was clearly against her? Nothing could save her from the consequences she was about to face. I feel sorry for the officer who handled her throughout the process of transferring her from the incident location to the police station. She was a complete nightmare, refusing to calm down and continuously shouting. Does anyone really think she will be released anytime soon? I don't believe she will get out early. She was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. So, in the end, if you enjoyed the video, hit that like button and drop your thoughts in the comments.
