Man, stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Listen. Let's stop making >> We're in America. >> Take your seat. Take your feet. >> [ __ ] you. Get your hands off me. >> Calm down. We're still talking with you >> right now. You're getting your [ __ ] hands [ __ ] >> What are you doing? >> Are you >> I said she's going to be a pain now. >> All right. You're going in cuffs now cuz you want to act up for me. >> All right. >> So, turn around. On December 15th, 2024, a fiery dinner exit in Palm Beach swerved into political rants, a dented stop sign, and a valet hero snatching keys like an action movie extra. From claims of friendship with Donald Trump to resisting arrest in bare feet, this night had it all except a safe drive home. Watch the video to see how her detour ended in handcuffs. >> I'm Officer Lopez. I work with the town of Palm Beach. >> What's going on right now? Then why would I be cold here? >> I can't go home. >> Is this your husband here? >> Yeah. >> May I talk with him? >> Yeah. >> Thank you. >> Hello, husband. I don't know if you can see me right now. I see you. I'm okay. >> Okay. Uh what's going on exactly? She's calling you to let you know what's happening or >> Yeah, I know. She just went out and had a drink and then >> and she didn't go back home. >> Okay. Ma'am, where do you live? That might cause me to just do a lot more of an investigation. All right. If anything, um I'm not allowed to let her have a conversation with you while she's in my custody. So, if there's anything that you want to talk to her about right now, I'd let you do that now. Okay. >> Okay. >> Here you are. >> Did she hit anything or >> she hit us back here? The other guys are >> back over here. >> Yeah. >> I have her keys and she threw her. >> So, she did all of that. >> She did all that. >> All right. >> Yeah. I think she hit one, but she's on the phone without >> Oh, just to find out to confirm. Yeah, I guess it was find out. And she wasn't staying here, was she? No. No. She just ended up back there. I don't think so back here. >> They're confirming right now. They're wait. >> Yeah, I do. >> They're really great. >> I'll have a chat with him. Thank you. >> Yeah. How can you play real? >> Hello, it's Officer Lopez again. >> So, I'm with the town of Palm Beach. So, there's a couple of things going on right now. Um, she must have been intoxicated. However, the valet didn't see that she was intoxicated, gave her the keys. She drove off, and then she looped around over here by the Everglades, and might have hit a stop sign. Right now, at this time, I'm going to give you the address and the phone number to our station. >> You're [ __ ] like white America. >> Just take a seat, please. >> I can do it. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Listen. Look. Stop. >> White America. >> Take a seat. Take a seat. >> [ __ ] you. Get your hands off me. >> Calm down. We're still [ __ ] with you >> right now. You're getting a big [ __ ] handful of [ __ ] dying on you. >> Yeah, I know. You're a [ __ ] American. You're not [ __ ] American. >> Take a seat right here. >> What are you doing? >> What are you doing? >> Are you going to be detained now? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> All right. You're going in cuffs now cuz you want to act up for me. >> All right. >> Thank you. >> So, turn around. I love her. >> The lady was straight up hammered and driving like that was a total disaster waiting to happen. She's on the phone spilling the whole situation to her hubby. But as soon as the cops started asking questions, she blew a fuse. Next thing, she's telling them they're not even American, like she's running the passport office or something. >> Very well. All right. I will. >> All right. We're going to be ladylike. >> Oh, absolutely. >> Thank you. I can hear all the hiccups, by the way. All right. >> Yeah. You got to make them tight, right? >> Yep. Absolutely. >> All for proud American. I am all about the American. >> I am. >> Donald Trump is like my best friend. Like do whatever is better. It's fine. You can push me. >> I'm not even You're walking ahead. You don't even have shoes on. >> I know, right? >> Ma'am, just stay still. >> Just stay still. >> But you're pretty. >> Listen, you're on camera. Just remind yourself. >> Just remind yourself that anything that you say, anything that you're doing is going to be used against you. >> It's not a care. >> Well, that sucks. I mean, that sucks that you don't care. I really hope that you eventually come. >> We're going to the gayla. And when we go to the gay and I'm doing it for the present. You guys are you guys just got caught in the trap. >> Ma'am, what is your name? >> Maxwell. Like the coffee. >> Nicole Maxwell. This Maxwell. >> Mrs. Maxwell. >> Like the coffee. >> Okay. >> And what I'm telling you and I'm going to tell you something. I'm going to only say it one time. >> Go ahead. >> Your own free will. You're >> I know. I know. I know. I know. >> But like you guys are Antonio Golio. Please get the antony. >> Did you pick up the notepad and stuff that was here? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That was >> You're going to thank me later. I promise. >> Ma'am, so right before this interaction when I walked up, what the heck happened? What happened? >> Okay. >> So, for some reason, >> get the hair out of my hair. Get the hair. >> I will help you. Yes, ma'am. >> Yeah. Here's your pet. >> Do you have anything on your person right now? >> Just in the back of the car. >> Is this you right here? >> That's me. >> Oh my god. Is he really good? >> Wow. >> You got I'm going to lock it. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> I have to get up in my car. You're very [ __ ] piece of [ __ ] >> Do you need me to help you up this so that he doesn't Okay, go ahead. Like >> all I'm trying to do is get up. >> I got you. I know it's a little difficult. Where's the All right, use your left leg and just kind of like push up. Excuse me. >> No, man. >> Thank you. Okay, go ahead. >> Have a seat. This way I can throw the AC on for you. And >> can you please get my intel in? >> I have everything. >> Okay, one step at a time. Okay, just let's get your foot inside. And I'm in the traffic now. >> What's happening >> right now? You're being detained at this time. So, I need you to just put your other foot in and get me out of the traffic. Okay. So, >> ma'am, what fantasy world are you in? Donald Trump is my best friend. Oh, please. That's comedy gold. She probably thought cops would cheer and crown her queen for that one. Nah. Booze had fully taken over her brain and she had zero clue about the nonsense coming out of her mouth. >> All the way in. >> Is it bad? >> I'm not sure what's happening, but as far as I know, you're >> Please tell me. >> Go ahead. Stop all the way in. Do you need me to give you a little push in so I can put this up? Okay. >> Cuz we we are white Americans and we give a [ __ ] about all the humanity. >> I just don't want to be in the street right now. Please just sit back just so I can put the seat belt on you. Thank you. >> Am I going to jail >> right now? Now, I don't know what's happening as far as I know and they're not going to ever like we're weird and it's only because we work on >> ma'am. As long as you're with us, you are safe. You are in the town of Palm Beach. Okay. >> Yeah. >> We're not rough officers. You know, we respond the way how >> actually really nice. >> We respond the way how you treat us. Okay. There's no need for anything that's inappropriate. All right. I think I got you. >> What's that? >> You think he kicked me? >> Um, I think so, but I'm not sure what you just did to my partner. It kind of looked like you kicked him. So, once I review that video, >> he was being mean. >> I don't think he was being mean, man. >> Okay, he wasn't being mean. I'm sorry. Okay. >> I'm sorry. I respect a lot. >> No. Never heard anybody. Okay. >> Just before you speak and do anything else, I do I want to read you your rights. I I I don't want to respond. I want my attorney. >> I don't want to >> I still have to just give you the seven that you have. And >> I want my verest revoked. >> Revolt. >> I want my father. >> Yes. I want an attorney involved. >> I'm just going to read you seven. And you just have to say, do you understand? Yes or no? >> I don't understand. No. >> I didn't get a chance to read any of them, too. >> I don't want them in. No. >> So, what exactly are you asking for right now? ask for an attorney by law. >> Okay. Um >> they're dead. >> So I won't read you these then because you don't want to really have Okay. >> Yeah. So we're chilling like it fell in. >> I'm going to close this door. Okay. I don't want to be in the traffic again. >> Okay. >> I got it. I got it. >> I got it. >> She knows more of the whole She knows more of the whole story, but I just kind of pulled up 94. >> Yeah. Her whole emotional meltdown was as useless as an umbrella in a hurricane. Cops weren't buying it for a second, and no amount of fake tears was going to earn her a walk away free card. If anything, every dramatic sigh and ugly tantrum just tightened the case against her. >> So, she's talking her whatever. She's calling people. They're confirming if she hit a stop sign on private property. That's over there. >> That one in the middle. >> Yeah. Anyway, she's over here, obviously, not free to go. And then she just decides to get out, start walking away from me. I'm like, "Ma'am, you can't leave." She's continuing to walk away. And that's when I grab her >> just like that. And she she just like tosses herself in the air and I like catch her. I think we just threw her in cuffs here cuz she was acting crazy already trying to run away and all this crap. >> Did you see her driving or No, >> I didn't. So, we got to just figure out what they mean. But >> and then did you guys confirm if the the stop sign was hit or something? >> Do Can you get like a picture? Is it like significant damage? I think they hit it all the time. But you can see on her bumper on the front. >> Yeah. Is it one of those ones that like bend back or something? >> No, it's it's like a portable one. You can just pick it up. >> She hit it. >> So, it's not really damaged. She just kind of ended up on your property back there, hit it. You guys saw, called it in, and she ends up here. >> Okay. >> Yeah, she was. >> Okay. >> Did the see her driving or No. Uh, she saw her behind the wheel uh on her initial contact. >> I I locked it. She's on the opposite end. >> Miss, >> I'm Sergeant Big Palm Beach PD. >> Listen. This is what's happening right now. >> Listen to me, miss. You You are under arrest. >> You are not free to leave. Okay? If you continue to kick the car and cause if you cause Listen, right now you're being under arrest. You're under arrest for misdemeanor. >> If you kick the car >> and you damage the car, you're going to be charged with a felony. >> So, you go from a misdemeanor to a felony. >> You are not leaving. We are not taking the haircut. Nothing is changing your situation. >> Okay. >> You have a trespass also. >> I got one. >> I know. Have her. >> It's okay. Another goddamn door, [ __ ] >> Open the [ __ ] door. >> The night closed with officers laying out the difference between misdemeanors and felonies, much like they would explain a game shows bonus round. When the paperwork finally caught up to the chaos, the scene faded, but not before proving that sometimes the stop sign isn't the only thing that gets hit. Christine Maxwell was charged with driving under the influence and resisting an officer without violence. She was ultimately convicted of DUI, serving 10 days in jail and receiving one year of probation.
