In the end, Steven was charged with possession of undersized crawfish and being in possession of more than six lobster. He hired a criminal defense attorney and plead not guilty. Prior to going to trial, a negotiated plea deal of no contest was accepted. He was ordered to pay $838 in cost and fees and donate $1,000.
