Y'all got your fishing license on you? >> I ain't got no fish license. >> You ain't got one? >> I got 70 years old. >> Are you fishing? >> Y'all got a bunch of these. All right. Thank you. >> Y'all got any more fish in the car? >> No. We just got here. >> Did you? All right. >> Where y'all from? >> This the only fish y'all have. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I don't. >> Okay. >> I don't know who caught him. I know it was me. >> What? That one in there? >> Yeah. I don't know. >> I got you. You say you know that what that is? That's bigger travel thing. >> Uhhuh. Yeah. They uh let me go talk to them. I reckon which one of them um both them vehicles y'alls. >> Okay. >> How's it going guys? >> Y'all got a fishing license. >> Should be real. I didn't know you had to have fishing license. Me too. I know you have to have fishing license. >> I got you. Yeah, man. Y'all got to have one. >> See, we thought we thought we do a lot of fresh water fishing. So that's why we think we have one for salt water. >> Yeah, you still got to have one. Where y'all from? >> Tallahass. >> Tallahassee. Okay. Y'all u y'all ever had a saltwater fishing license or? >> We didn't know about We thought you had to be in the boat to get a fishing license for salt water. >> You still have They made it free a couple years ago if you're a Florida resident. They they made it where you didn't have to pay for it anymore. Salt water, but you still got to have it. They still want you to have it. So, >> it's it's free, but you still got to have it. Yeah. Okay. >> Huh. It's been like that for a couple years. You used to have to pay for it. >> They just made it if you're a Florida resident. Huh. Yeah, you used to still have to pay for it. >> Okay. >> They used to be fresh water if you were fishing for lot and stuff. Yeah. >> If you live in them, you didn't. But now you have to pay for that one. They like swapped it. >> I uh But y'all got your driver's license. Everybody ain't got a fishing license. >> Yeah, I got a driver license. >> Let me catch that now. >> Oh, you ain't got your driver's license? No. >> I got mine mine in the truck. >> All right. You got a fishing license, bud? Yes, sir. >> You got your driver's license? >> Huh? >> No, I ain't got a moment. My name >> All right, we'll walk down there in the truck. Y'all have any more fish? >> No. What about you, bud? You got fishing license? >> No, I have no fishing license. >> You got driver's license? >> No, I ain't got my driver license. >> All right. >> Hey, come on down the bridge right here. Push them. Come help me out. Got about seven people. I got a fishing license. Short >> trout. >> All right. Bye. >> Hey, buddy. You want to go ahead and walk down there? Get your old driver's license out the car. You said you ain't got one in the vehicle. >> All right. You got a driver's license or something? >> You ain't got no driver's license? How old are you? >> Mhm. >> How old are you? >> I'm >> You ain't got nothing with your name on it. I don't know. >> Okay. >> Nothing. >> You got a driver's license out of Florida? >> Yeah. No, sir. My license should be good. >> It should be good. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> Huh? >> Okay. >> All right. I'm going to walk with him. Just stay up there. All right. Who all was with you? >> Oh, me cousin, my auntie, the old lady. >> Uhhuh. The dude in the white shirt was with you. Not to do with great weather >> that just walked back to the truck. >> Oh, >> I got you. Whose car is this? >> My cooler. >> I got you. They got a cooler in the back. >> Oh, no. A no cool. >> Okay. >> The only one you brought my fish. >> Okay. And that's the only fish y'all got right there. Okay. Let me ask before we walk back over there. Who caught this fish? >> I don't know. We just We just throwing them in there. >> I don't know. >> We just fishing. >> I got you. >> Leave. Who caught this fish? >> What the What did that >> Who caught the fish? >> Who was this fishing? >> Fishing for today about 45 minutes. >> Y'all been in Been here for a little while then? >> Yeah, we did. We started right there. >> Did y'all try any other place before getting here? >> Yeah, we went on that little dock over there. >> The dock over there? >> Yeah, I got you. >> And y'all caught some of these over there or >> Yeah, we caught Yeah, we caught the yellow one. We need some bird. Yeah, y'all got a couple fish, man. Got a couple spotted seats out there. Or at least two. >> We got two of them. >> You can't. What is that? >> That's a spotted sea trout. >> Oh, see the name of >> Where y'all from? >> Tallahass. >> Tallahass. Y'all come down every now and then probably. >> Not even like we come once. >> I got you. >> Yeah. They don't have any licenses anymore. None of y'all have any. We thought she got hurt. My grandma got >> You done earn You done earned your key. That's right. >> You've been around long enough. You giving me this. >> Got Is this your cooler? I appreciate you. >> Is this your cooler? >> Glad you made this cooler. >> I got you. Good for you. >> Good deal. >> Well, you go catch them. >> You go catch them. >> No, don't sit in. Well, guys, I'm sure like he's explaining to you, those fish, they do have regulations to them and stuff. Okay? And little yellow tail thingy. >> Those there, they don't have a size limit to them, right? So, so especially with salt fish, saltwater species, I'm going to step right here. So, watch out for them, bud. Saltwater species, you know, they've got different there's different kinds of them, right? So, we've got different size limits and regulations. And two of those, they're they're substantially short, okay? You know, so at the end of the day, someone's going to have to take responsibility. We know everybody's been doing some fishing. We don't want to him everybody up. You hear what I'm saying? >> And so that's why he's asking as far as who who probably caught it. >> Cuz right now you're telling me everybody's throwing fish in there. So >> I caught >> I know. But somebody's got to remember catching those fish, man. >> I caught the fish. >> I say it's all we don't know. So just >> everybody fish. >> We just take I take it pay. >> The uh guys there's an app. Y all got smartphones, right? There's an app called Fish Rules. You can download that app. It works off the GPS on your phone. Works in several different states. It'll show you a picture of the fish. It works for fresh water and saltwater. Show you a picture of the fish, how big it's got to be, if there's regulations on it, how many you can have. >> But that's I mean, it's so simple just to know the regulations now with that app. And if not, you can pick up a book at the fish store. >> Yeah. And if you're not regularly going, like he's saying, it's one of them things you need to just take time before you come back out and start because regulations change every once in a while. Like he's saying with that app, it keeps up a lot better than than books or anything like that. >> Salt water. We thought you had to be in the boat to have a license with salt water. >> If you're a Florida resident, then you just have to have a shoreline license and it's free. Okay. We know that. >> Yeah. So, if you do have a a a residential license to the state of Florida, then it's basically what it is is a stat it's it's a statistic for the state of Florida to recognize how many people could be participating in it. You know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. So, that license there only does cover for you to fish from peers, from the shore, docks, things like that. Um, if you were to go fish on the hill, on the water, >> get your back over there. >> Yeah. Don't say don't you. Hey, can't come down here till we finish. >> Like like come down here till we finish. You don't need no fishing license. >> Yeah. Yeah. That's just a se that's a different license. >> Yeah. >> So if you buy if you buy one for the boat, then it covers you for the heel. >> Okay. >> But if you only fish from the heel or like from the land or peers or anything like that, then all you need is a shoreline license. But it does not cover for you to go onto the water. You hear what I'm saying? >> We know that. We ain't know that. >> Yeah. So, if y'all have all been participating in fishing and everything, we're going to have to document that, you know, upon the inspection, y'all didn't have a license. Now, usually if you haven't had any warnings about it, we'll go we'll document it through some warnings. That sound cool, trick? Yeah. >> Um, and as far as the fish, we someone's probably going to have to receive a citation for the fish. Okay. Just because they are substantially short, okay. And there's two of them. There's more than just one. So in that case since y'all I mean you said you it's your cool or your fish who I mean out of y'all and that's what you fishing. >> Well yeah y'all got I mean y'all got to decide cuz like right now I mean everybody's in violation of the fish cuz y'all can't tell me who caught the fish. We don't want to write all y'all tickets. >> So we're trying not to write >> ticket is first that help us. It is it is kind of up to the judge up to a court. Okay. All we do is we we write the the citation >> judge tell you what it is. >> You can h >> you can handle it up front, but if you don't you normally if it's your first if if it's your first incident within Franklin County, you can contact the state's attorney and say, "Listen, you know, it was a mistake. This is what we had. The officer did tell us of what we had wrong and everything, but we would like to be able to just handle it without having to come to court." Usually, usually, we can't promise, but we do tell everybody, hey, contact them, ask the question, and then they can go from there. Okay? And usually you can handle a lot of it over the phone and stuff. All right? Because it is it is at the end of the day, it is an arrestable defense. Okay? So, we don't arrest people on it, especially how cool you guys are being. You know what I'm saying? But we have to document it. >> Yeah. We had to document. If we knew that be a jail identification only one of them got >> establishing who's taking responsibility for the fish. You sure? Are y'all this who's your cooler? >> You're taking >> No, we're not we're not taking your cooler or the the fish. >> No, the only thing that we have to take is we have to take the information for the one who's going to claim responsibility. All right. And we also had to take the fish. Just the two illegal fish. Not all of them. >> We different. >> Yeah. You see the difference on them though? Now that you look at them. >> The others. >> Where the other one at that you said? >> It's I thought he Did you put it back in there? They're both right here. >> They're just right there. They're called a spotted sea trout. >> Oh, both of them spotted. >> They got to be 15 in or something. >> They got to be kind of big. >> Yeah. Those are juvenile babies right there. The other ones right there. >> This one? >> Yeah. >> All right. All right. So, you are claiming responsibility for catching those two fish, correct? You sure? >> I'm sure. >> You positive? All right. For writing the ticket out. >> We just need that clarification. >> Yeah. That's all we need, man. So, you caught those two fish. >> Yeah, I caught them. >> So, I'm going to just read this to you or you can you can state it. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can will be used against you in court. You rights and you wish to speak to me now. So your class hands you caught both fish. Okay. >> All right. >> No. >> Before before on Okay. Before any questioning, man, we had this violation. All right. And it is your right to be able to consult anybody, you know. So that that's why we give it to you. >> And that's why we did that instead of cuz nobody we didn't nobody specifically start initially claiming to fish. So, we're trying not, like we said, we're trying not to write everybody to cuz y'all said all y'all are fishing. So, >> ultimately, you you you can be constructively in possession of it. You see what I'm saying? >> Cuz all y'all are fishing right here in this cooler, >> right, man? >> Appreciate it. Appreciate it. >> I just heard that. I was just like, "Oh, >> no." And that's that's a misconception. Like, when people read your rights, that doesn't mean you're going to jail every night. >> They just want to read it to you, let you know. >> This ain't law and order, okay? We hook and then they say all that. That ain't how it work. That ain't how it works, man. All right, man. What is your first name? >> Richie. R I C K E Y. >> We'll shut. >> And there's other gentlemen with fishing, too. Drizzle. >> Yeah, everybody was. We did. The only one I got his deal. I need all three. >> You going to You grab them. >> I can split. We'll split them. >> I can get them. >> All right, buddy. Um, I need your name and your date of birth real quick. >> Y'all are all getting warnings for your fishing license. Okay. >> All right. >> What's yours, ma'am? >> What's your middle name? Uh, you ain't got a middle name. >> You don't? So, you don't have on your driver's license. That's how it is. Off. >> What's your date of birth? >> Oh, 73. >> What? >> 73. >> What's your full birthday? >> Huh? 73. 73. >> Okay. >> Hey, man. Appreciate the understanding with it, buddy. You know, it's just one of those things we try. We trying to be clear about it all. >> I understand. Have you ever been checked by FWC game more than anything like that before? >> Me? >> Yeah. >> No. >> No. I don't I cousin fishing before he got check my game, but I never I wasn't fishing. >> You weren't fishing. You were just hanging with him. >> Gotcha. I ain't know you fishing. I want to do. >> Yep. Yep. And it that's why that's why we're giving just warnings about it, brother, is you know, it is like if you're a Florida resident, it is a free license, but it's a >> Yep. It's just one of those things that the state requires. so that they have an idea as to how many people participate in it and can go forward with any other regulations that may need to change. >> I thought as long as you on the land >> on condition you say in the boat. Yeah. That's why man we're we're just documenting through a warning for this time man. >> Okay. I ain't know that that good a lot of people up. >> Yeah. Well that's why if man like we we can take into consideration you know you never you didn't know or whatever from here now you do. That's what we say for people cuz you didn't know cuz everybody from here I mean this fish off the law right >> now you can't do that >> right >> so you all can't >> yeah you have to there's regulation man for many of things nowadays you know >> but just hang tight with us and we'll be right back with you okay I didn't grab those two we get I'll grab We usually can be able to donate them. >> We had to take we had to take photos of them and everything and the measurements and such of them, but usually we're able to donate them, things like that. Used to we had to put it all into evidence, but now times have kind of changed for us. So, y'all just hang tight with us. All right. >> Boat off. >> So, he is 2000. >> Yeah. >> He didn't have a middle name. But the boat show me a picture of driver's license. >> He did have a middle could be taking somebody to jail. >> I'm not muted anymore, but Oscar >> Oscar and Is it uh Dietrich? >> Um buddy, do you have a middle initial or anything like that? >> Yes, sir. >> That's okay. Hey, do you have one though? Cuz we need to have it just to be able to locate your identification as all. >> Well, you can't find my identification. >> Not through just your first and last name. We have to have the middle initial. Okay. Cuz they're having trouble being able to locate it through our system. So, do if you have a middle initial, I need that. >> Yes. S. >> It's S. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Stefan, I won't never use it though. >> That's okay. Is that what would be on your ID though? Probably. Yeah, that's what we'd need. >> Okay. >> So, your first name spelled D E T R >> I C K. >> Okay. Where's Mr. At? Sir, >> Oscar, where'd he take off? >> Huh? >> Well, where would he take off to be able to do that? >> Hey guys, I need some honesty right here. >> I'm fishing. I'm still throwing my pole out. Okay. But where where' y'all where Mr. Where go? >> Is there a reason why he'd walk off? >> All right. Sounds good. Hey, we're going to have one of them probably took off. >> Seriously? >> Yeah. Your guy probably took off. I'm going to ride by a seat. They said he had to take a piss, but I I knew whenever I looked up he he walked off somewhere. So, I'm going to go see if I can find him down the road. Spin around. I asked him. I said, "Hey, time for honesty. Why in the world would he walk off?" "Oh, I don't know. He just took a piss." He said took off. So, I got the other boys names. Middle initials S. So, spin around, look and watch them. I'm going to ride. >> We can't find his name. Why he take off? Where he take a piss at? Which way he go? fishing. We had that back. We see her fishing. So, I don't know. >> Yeah. Well, somebody's got a phone. We got I mean, we got to figure out who he is. Okay. And right now, we're trying to be cool, y'all. But I don't want to say all these fishing turn into tickets. >> We already know fish. >> Where where could he went, guys? We got to find him. Somebody got to get him on the phone. I'm going tell him to get back up here cuz if we end up finding or he ends up taking off, man, it's going to turn into something different. >> Who can get him on the phone, guys? >> I don't have a >> Who did he ride with? You said he rode with you, ma'am. >> He He rode with me. I don't know. Like, for real, I don't know his number. I'm be honest with you. >> Hello. I was here fishing, so I don't know where he went at. is here. You see fish the whole time. >> Okay. >> Oh, which way did you see where he went, buddy? >> So, ain't nobody auntie, you can't get him on the phone. >> Uhuh. I don't I have to have people number. I only have people number. >> I said grow my bad on damn phone. >> What about you, man? >> I don't know. I was goddamn You seen where I went? I went to go get me some donuts. I've been making. >> All right, guys. There ain't no way y'all don't get a hold of him because, man, I don't believe what y'all are telling me right now. And we trying we trying to be cool with y'all, man. He ain't got I'm be fishing, man. Know what I'm talking about. I still got my boat with me fishing. I don't know where he went. >> Well, somebody he didn't just walk off cuz he was standing all up here with all y'all. Y'all saw where he went. >> Did he go that way? You see fish? Did he walk that way? >> The last time we seen he walk down there with y'all with you. He's in the truck. >> So that was the last time we seen >> we seen him talking to you the whole time. >> No, he was just right here when we left all y'all. >> Well, what do we want to do with them now? >> They're all getting tickets. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I figured so >> covert off. But yeah, he could have gone far right here. He's sitting in a bush. >> He going to be right here. I went down to the highway. He ain't on the side of the road. >> You ain't busy. Come over here. I was looking for him. >> Yeah. About the time cuz I sat right here. >> Yeah. I sat right there and talked to him for a second. >> He has something around his waist. I don't know what the deal was. You see that? He has big bulge in like the front right there. Like he had something attached to him or whatever. I don't know. Are you going to go try to question him again? We get somebody >> off. >> All right, man. So, >> you can't tell me where where your buddy went. >> No, see I've been fishing the whole time, man. >> Well, ain't no way to get a hold of him. We're fishing to get everybody over here and we going to him y'all up for a long time. >> I already know. >> We been We've been here fishing. I don't know where you went at. >> Listen, guys. Listen, we've been super freaking cool. All right. >> All right. We've been straight forward and honest about everything. >> Thing is that we know we know you seen where he walked off. Sat right here. I said, "Yeah, we get everybody over here and we're going to find him." >> Yeah. We know he ain't we know he's not far. He's right here. So, you need to go ahead and he's on up to whatever it is he's trying to hinder from and get on over here. >> I'd be help. >> Well, y'all, he's got some way to get a hold of him. I know everybody got a cell phone right now. So, somebody get a hold of him on the phone. >> I sat here and I chatted with him. And then as soon as I turned my back, he's he's want to walk off. There ain't no reason for it. >> Especially with how cool we've been about everything. And I we were going to be giving warnings for all the simple stuff. >> So, >> somebody needs to get him on the phone, guys. I know y'all can, but we going this going to turn in a lot longer. >> Help yourself out. >> Okay. By helping him out. Is he going to get picked up eventually and then it's just going to have y'all here for a long night when we ain't >> he's found he's going to get another charge of something else? >> Yeah. >> So, >> he's going to get found and I know he ain't went nowhere. Y'all from Tallahassee and he's right here on this road and there's only one way in and one way out. So, just go ahead and get him on the phone and say, "Listen, man." >> So, y'all going to continue? >> No. What we what we'll end up doing is that we'll end up cighting y'all for the simple thing that we had, which is a fishing license violation instead of giving warnings because y'all know he walked off. >> They can't hold us all day. >> No, I ain't doing all that. >> I'm saying they saying they can't hold us at all. >> Yeah, sure. Give my ticket so I can go down. >> I know. That's fine. We can give you a ticket. Y'all can y'all can y'all can leave him right here and that's fine. We'll pick him up later. It's just a problem is that what would been warnings is now it's got to be tickets for it because we know that y'all just w let him walk off. [snorts] >> Well, I know why you were fishing, brother. He was right here with us talking and then as soon as I walk off, he wants to go a direction that he doesn't want us to know. >> He was right here when we were both talking to my auntie the whole time. >> You said they talk to we talking. >> All right. Well, Trist, there ain't no reason we can't hold him. So, I mean, if they want to leave him, we'll just ride up what we got to ride up. They can leave. >> Um, but I mean, we're going to try. We're going to check the vehicles, make sure he ain't back there somewhere. >> You were able to pull up. That's the young boy. We'll go ahead and give the tickets that we need to give. >> And uh before they pull off, we'll we'll check the vehicles, make sure he ain't in it. Mute off. I got to go. Tick. GET ON THE FREAKING GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. GET OFF OF THE HIGHWAY AND ON THE GROUND. THAT GET ON THE GROUND. NOW MOVE OVER. MOVE OVER TO YOUR RIGHT. MOVE OVER TO YOUR RIGHT. MOVE OVER TO YOUR RIGHT. KEEP GOING. KEEP GOING. >> LAY FLAT ON YOUR BELLY. LAY FLAT ON YOUR BELLY, HANDS OUT. SPREAD YOUR HANDS LIKE A PLANE ON THE GROUND. SPREAD YOUR FEET. Do not move. You understand? Do not freaking move. Put your head on the ground. TURN IT TO THE LEFT. LOOK TO THE LEFT. NOW LOOK TO YOUR LEFT. >> You got any guns or anything on you, man? Okay. Stay looking at me right here. Okay. Look at me. Hands flat. Hands out. >> Stay flat. >> Put your palms up. Okay. >> Do not move. >> Palms up. Turn your hands other way. >> Handcuff. And then we'll go through. >> But bring your left hand. Yes, sir. >> Just pull that hand up to him right there, bro. All right, you can roll over those cuffs so I'm getting tired. So, you got a warrant, man. I guess you know that. That's why you ran, >> huh? >> You didn't know you had a warrant? Why'd you run? >> I'm going to reset his cuffs. >> Okay. I got one more. Uh, >> well, we don't know what you got a warrant for, man. But we're trying to do an inspection. We were going to give you a simple warning. >> And you're going to take off and run. Okay. And you can't do that, man. Even if you got a warn or don't know you have a warrant. >> All right. I'm going to bring it to your feet. Okay. We're going to walk back here to the truck. >> You don't have anything on you, do you? >> No firearms or nothing like that? No knives? >> No. What's your middle name? >> Larry. >> Larry. So, you gave us a false ID when we asked. >> You gave us Oscar. >> Oh, yeah. >> Who's that? >> That's my brother. >> Your brother? All right. So, all you got is just your wallet and stuff. >> All right. You know necklaces or anything like that. So, what's this here in front of you? >> What's this here? >> I got a hearing. >> Okay. You got a hernia? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. That's a big hernia. >> Why? Why'd you run? >> I don't know, man. I was scared. Fair enough. >> Okay. Well, why scared? You know, we were being cool with you, brother. >> You know what I'm saying? We were being straightforward with you. I had a conversation with you, sir. >> All right. Are those cuffs all right? They ain't hurt you too bad, son. >> All right. I mean, we're going to try to be as cool as we can. >> She has my mom right here on my phone. You see, >> you need to answer that or >> No, we know him. >> Okay. I just we'll just wait and then on it and call them back when you kind of have to deal with >> Well, we'll be having to take you over here to Franklin. Okay. So, the thing is though, now that you ran, you know, you didn't have fish license when you're fishing, so we got to give you an infraction on that. But now you're being you're being charged with interference. You know, you took off during the inspection. You can't do that. All right. We know that you got a warrant. Okay. But just cuz you have a warrant, man, we can't we can't run. All right. Did you know you had a warrant? >> I didn't know that. So, >> okay. Well, you can't take off, man, whenever you're just afraid. You knew we were being cool with you. You know what I'm saying? We weren't going to give you too much of a hard time. Y'all out enjoying your evening stuff, but once you take off, it starts raising suspicion. Yes, sir. >> That's why we have to take approaches like this. We don't like to do that, man. Yes, sir. >> All right. You seem like you're a fine man. Maybe made some mistakes and stuff. We just can't run off. Take off like that. >> Take you to jail. Jail? >> Yeah. We got to take you to jail now. Yeah. You gave us false identification. You didn't give us your full your actual name. We knew then something's going on and then uh then once we find out who you are, you got a warrant and you took off on us. >> We can't do that. >> Okay. So, we'll be heading to the jail here in just a minute. You got it cleared out or anything? >> All right. So, >> what's what what's about warrant for it? >> I don't know what the warrants for.
