An officer with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife was on patrol when he observed several individuals crabbing in a closed area. >> How you doing, sir? Do you have your driver's license up here? >> No, it's all >> It's all down there. >> Go get that at the U and my >> Everything's down there. >> Um, yeah. Your closed area. >> Um, I understand you didn't know that part of it. >> Yes, sir. And you did understand what the limit was and it's six. >> Well, I say five more people coming. >> They got to harvest their own. >> That doesn't mean you just carpet bomb the beach and grab every crab that's moving. That means they come and they get their own. And so you guys are massively over limit. >> Um I'm not They're all both of those are criminal. I'm not going to write it as a criminal ticket. You have to go to court. Those are all misdemeanors. I'm not going to write it like that. But you guys are all getting tickets for closed season and for over limit. >> They're going to be infractions. It'll be around $156 per person. >> But that's the best I can do on that. They are criminal. You got to know where you are. >> What's that? >> Can we cut down a little bit? >> Yeah.
