That's a grown ass woman. >> Now, this is what it turns into. >> On May 22nd, 2023, a wild fight broke out with a bunch of teens and things went even crazier when adults jumped in recklessly. The whole situation got out of hand, showing major bad judgment and zero responsibility. This is a case where parents made things way worse instead of helping. Check out how impulsive moves and carelessness turned it into total chaos, putting the kids in serious danger. >> Sorry. >> Um, this >> been going on for a while. >> Okay. >> Um, this one right here. >> She's new, but she's not new to the situation. >> Okay. Can you explain it to me? Like, I don't know anything. Are you her mom? I I don't >> My daughter's in the car. >> Okay. >> This young lady was friends with another young lady, group of young ladies that was bullying mine. >> Okay. from the time they started school. So, of course, go to the school, try to intervene that way. >> Sure. >> July 30th, two of them came to my apartment. Okay. >> I was in the shower. >> You live around here? >> I live Well, I used to live in Chattahuchi. >> I live over in Spalding Bridge. >> Okay. >> They came to the apartment. She's coming home from work. It's almost like 10:00. I'm in the shower. >> Yeah. >> Next thing I know, a child come running upstairs screaming. >> They jumping her. They jumping her. My mom was there. She took off. called the police. By the time I got downstairs, >> they were full-blown. One had her by the hair, kicking her, and the other one was just pounding on her. She was face down trying to get up. >> Okay. >> They seen me. That's when the rest of the kids turned into a big brawl. I just had a medical situation, so I couldn't get in the fight. >> Okay. >> Managed to get it broken up. One of the young ladies decided to call think that she was going to swing on me. I'm walking away. I could hear her feet. >> I turned around. I was like, "Listen, >> I will I will hurt you." like don't do that. Go get your mom and send her to my apartment. >> Long story short, I'm now on probation. >> Mhm. >> After me trying to file charges on for her being lynched. >> Okay. >> Them coming to my house. All of that. I ended up being charged. >> Okay. >> With contributing to delinquency of minor and theft of a 35. >> And where was this? Where did this take place at? >> At my house. This is how it started. >> But you said do you live where? I'm sorry. >> I live in Spalding Bridge. >> On Swinging Bridge. Okay. Sure. >> Okay. So, Saturday I had to go out of town. Okay. >> Um, my 16-year-old at work, came home, asked if she go to her friends. I said, "Yeah, cool. No problem. I know the young ladies. I know the parents, >> so it wasn't no worry." >> Okay. >> On my way home Sunday, I get a call. Hey, mom. Remember my little girl N? I'm like, "Yeah, she's telling me there was a fight." >> So, I get I'm like, "What? What?" >> I proceed to check in her like, "Bro, you can just walk away. Like, you know, you're on probation just like me. Like, it's not worth it. Let it go. I'll come and talk to the mom. You know, me and her can talk and try to figure out how to fix whatever's going on. >> I was supposed to come after work. Didn't because I had to go to the emergency room. My papers are in the car. >> Uhhuh. >> By the time I'm leaving the emergency room, I get home with my baby. My other baby comes and was like, "Ma," and shows me my iPad. I'm like, "Nara's at work." She couldn't get home because that young lady and three more decided as she was walking home >> right from the jump. The truth was adults never handled the girl's old issues. The fight didn't chill. It got worse cuz one mom jumped in and basically poured gasoline on the fire. Instead of keeping the kids safe, everyone just made the mess bigger. That's exactly what made the whole situation hella dangerous. >> Where North Springs High School is? >> Yeah. >> Swelen Bridge is right behind it. >> Okay. It's like a 7inut walk. >> Yeah. >> They attacked the girl on the way home, >> jumped her. So all of the girls decided to I think jump on the bus or somebody they jumped somewhere to end up in Carlile apartments. >> Okay. >> They followed. >> Uhhuh. >> I have the videos for it. Now Saturday, the mama was the one who pushed up the fight. She was the one, y'all going to fight. Go ahead and get it over with. This been a long time coming. The young lady came downstairs with a knife talking about I'mma stab you. I'mma kill you. >> I'm not with the [ __ ] Excuse my French. Mhm. >> We're an adult. We're adults. If you have an issue and there's a parent, come talk to the parent and we can we can team up and try to get them. But you don't facilitate a fight because anything could have went wrong in that moment. >> Your child could have died. Mine could have died. The next child, you know what I'm saying? And you you stand there look stupid. >> Mhm. >> I get the call. >> Get over there. >> The neighbors upstairs was like, "Yeah, she did say she didn't want to fight." Like she was like, "It's stupid. It's pointless." Talking about my child. >> They She's still trying. This young lady went over there again cuz she wanted to fight cuz she was like, "I lost a fight. I want my fair one." >> Uhhuh. >> They start fighting again. She didn't want to take the L. After she dog walks the little girl again, cuz that's literally what happened. They started fighting and then her shirt came off. >> She came out of her shirt and the girl was still on the ground. She went to go walk off and she had the girl still. She kind of like kind of like uppercut her a little bit. Nothing major to try and walk off, let go. >> The cousin in her early 20s, she proceeds to go and jump on her. My daughter's 16. >> Yeah. >> She all of this big. Yeah, she can fight, but she all of this big. >> Yeah. >> Then you have this big back ass mama. >> Mhm. >> This big quarterback ass [ __ ] >> Mhm. >> You go and you jump in the fight. The other two little girls, Mari and Taylor, they trying to break the fight. >> This all happened today, right? >> Today. Half the videos. >> I'm just trying to follow your timeline. I'm sorry. >> Yes, today. This this it was a long time. >> So So from So >> from like 3:30 to about >> I got the call maybe 7ish. Okay. >> Cuz they were still over there banging on the door trying to get them to come inside to fight. So by No, not my door at Carile where the where the kids were posted up at cuz they was trying to get away from it. They over there beating on the door and >> Okay. I said, "Okay, send me the address. I'm on the way." >> That's my friend. I call him like, "Hey, bro. Just so I can keep >> levelheaded because I go too far. >> Okay. >> I'm going to need you to pull up cuz I might end up going too far and I can't afford to go to jail." >> Sure. So, I'mma go over to the mama house and I'mma call the police because at this point you can't say, "Oh, no. I didn't do it." You are seen in the video, plain as day, grabbing and beating on the kids. >> Mhm. Do you have a video of it? >> And this was at the Carile Apartments. >> So, this is one of the Yep. This is one of the children. She has knots on her forehead. The other one, Asia, she has knots on. I'll say one of the children, one of your children, >> the my daughter's friends, they were trying to Yeah. My daughter was the one that was ultimately fighting, but the other three were trying to break it up. >> Okay. >> What's really shady is that instead of acting smart, the adults straight up got into the fight themselves, like they didn't care about how it ended. Instead of stopping the kids, they made things worse. Their presence only hyped everyone up. Straight up, responsibility was zero, and chaos was maxed out. Their dumb moves made everything more unstable. >> She's one of them. The other one I'm waiting for to send me pictures. This This is one of the videos. My daughter has on the plaid pants with the pink shirt. >> Mhm. >> And who's are those two about to fight? >> Yeah, this is my daughter. She's telling her she don't want to fight and let it go. Oh >> [ __ ] >> Now this is the cousin walking up in the plaid pants. >> Who's videaping? >> I don't know. You know, kids videotape every damn thing. >> The cousin is in the plaid pants. >> This one right here. >> Watch as she gets ready to walk off. >> Okay, >> that's a grown ass woman. >> Now, this is what it turns into. That's what you get for jumping whooping. >> You see the mama? >> Who's the mama? >> The mama's in a black and white shirt. She just slammed one child in this. This is That's a 15y old girl. >> The black and white shirt. >> Yes, the black and white shirt is the mama. >> The black and white white shirt, black pants. >> Yep. Hold on. >> I'm sorry. Difficult time. Seriously, come in with a new information. >> Can you point the mom out, please? >> Right there. >> The cousin is right here. And then the mama's coming in right here. >> That's the mama. Okay, I see. >> Now she goes and hit mine and then she goes hit the other one. >> She's dragging your daughter on the ground there. >> That's the friend. She hit my daughter first. >> Okay. Yeah. Hold on. There's one more that was sent to me. Where is it? >> Hey, tell Noodle to come here. >> Do you know who the mom is? >> I've never met her. Mom, >> she lives here. >> Yes. My whole plan was once I found out about the fight yesterday. I tried it with the other mom and she turned it into I was the one that beat her daughter and the other young lady and I didn't have anything to do with it. >> Okay. >> Um like I said, I was in the shower. Mhm. >> Um, so >> from that video, I'm having a difficult time. >> I'm like, let me go and try and, you know what I'm saying? Maybe we can have a conversation and try and talk. So, my plan was when I got off of work today to come and actually like, hey, how you doing? >> I was told what happened. You know, you want to walk me through? Can we figure out a way facilitate some of these girls so we can talk it out? That was my plan. >> Especially cuz I'm on probation. If I wasn't on probation, I'm not going to lie to you. It would be something different because I don't believe in putting kids in adult situations. I mean, to me, that's an adult situation. >> You allowed your daughter to walk out of the house with a knife. >> Then you bring older women. I don't care if they 22, 23, 24. I'm 34 years old. You won't catch me having my 24 year old sister coming to come. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> We We don't even move like that. >> The video proof made it crystal clear how this whole thing went sideways just because of adults ego and stubbornness. Instead of talking it out, more people jumped in the fight everywhere. Screaming, pushing, shouting. Nobody even thought the kids were already scared. Adults themselves became the problem, not the fix. >> Okay. >> At some point in time, somebody got to have sense. >> So, if I'm walking around with a contributing to the link of a minor and theft for some [ __ ] that I didn't do, and you walking around like everything okay after you done, you actually physically assaulted children, >> four of them. You facilitated the fight. Why are you allowed to walk away scot-free? >> Yeah. >> Cuz if it was in my eyes, if it was for me to handle, I would have been out here tapping that ass till y'all got here. >> Mhm. >> And would with no fight would have went with y'all and let y'all put handcuffs on me because I knew I would have been in the wrong. >> But you don't do that with children. Yeah. >> Right, wrong, or indifferent. And she mine. She got to deal with me when she get home. >> Mhm. >> But nonetheless, you don't do that. >> Yeah. >> I want charges pressed. >> You're 100% positive that was the woman that >> the video I have from yesterday. This is her from yesterday. So the reason why I asked is you know you know who that is. Without us being able to identify who the person is pressing charges is going to be really difficult. >> I only know the kid's name. I don't know. This is the same >> who's here in this video. >> Okay. So this is my daughter. They're >> this is right here where we standing. >> My daughter's in the black. That's her daughter. Now you see the mama right there again. >> You hear? Come on y'all. Come on. >> Who does like that? >> She's Where is she at? Where's she at? Where's the >> My mom got the green on. >> She has green on. Okay. >> This is This is Sat Oh, I'm sorry. This is Saturday. >> She's coaching the back. >> Come on. Come on. Yeah, I'm good. I'm good. >> I'm good. Okay. >> Okay. >> And that was from yesterday. >> This was Saturday. The one you seen today, she got on black and white. >> The cousin got on plaid pants and a black shirt. Now, I know she normally wear like her pajama pants and she has on a crop top underneath her oversized shirt. So, that's how I was able to point her out. >> Sure. Okay. >> What was the point? >> Mhm. >> Cuz now I'm standing here with y'all. >> Mhm. Okay. I can go talk to her. Um, >> I'm going to I'm going to talk to my sergeant. >> The other kids got uh what you call it. >> They were trying to break it up. She was actually fighting fight. >> You called the tener. Um, >> so not that it matters because the adult shouldn't be doing that anyway. But why why are you over here? Like cuz you don't live here. her mom, her mom, her friends, all of them. They kept blowing up all of my friends phone and telling us to come over here. And then we came over here, she was like, "The mom was already outside when we came out." What I'm wearing now, this is what I was wearing. I just had on leggings. >> Okay. >> And you stop laughing. >> I mean, the the the worst thing that's going to happen is going to be like a disorderly conduct through the city, maybe. Because I mean, she It's not like you're it's not like you were assaulted. that you came here and you chose to fight somebody. >> As the investigation went on, the full picture came out. Some parents straight up crossed the line, pushing kids into the fight, getting them to go forward while they hung back, which was totally wrong. Things spun out cuz the adults weren't thinking straight. They turned a small issue into a straightup dangerous mess. >> Um, the worst thing I could do is like disorderly conduct for her. That's right. >> You got two days back to back where this lady did that. Now, today she put her hands on my Yes, understood. >> So that that's not disorderly conduct. >> You actually physically attacked my kid today and came your ass home and cooked dinner and fed your child. >> She put herself in a terrible position by being at a fight with juveniles. But if her daughter's is in a fight and she drags her daughter away, >> that wasn't her daughter. That's what I'm trying to tell you. >> Not her daughter. Excuse me. The other person. >> You don't put your hands. You don't swing. She swung on this one. >> Mhm. That looked like that looked like a mutual fight. And this was obviously a mutual fight as well. I'm not saying that that that woman isn't the right because she's not. What I'm saying is when two people are fighting and they get and they get broken up, it was obviously a mutual fight. You were not walking away. You weren't running away. You came to a dare lane and you got into a fight. >> I did walk away. I would they her friend, the cousin would come attack me. That's literally how the whole >> Then why were you not calling 911 then? >> So her phone is blacked out literally. >> Like her phone literally blacked out a couple days ago. So I had to order the phone cuz she didn't have a way. >> There were like 40 other people sitting there >> in a fight. >> Yeah, there were like 20 or 30 people. >> Them kids don't know me. They don't know. >> Those kids don't know how to call 911. >> That I can't answer for those children. I'm telling you what's up with her phone. >> But you said you had friends there and stuff, right? Cuz your phone also >> My friends were helping trying to defend me and break it up. Well, they wasn't like beating on them. They were literally trying to separate all separated it, but they started hitting on them also. That's literally And then you guys grown ass adults. That's what I'm saying. >> They shouldn't be there. I agree with you. >> Then you y'all attack the girl as she's leaving school. So it wasn't like she wasn't some place she was supposed to be. >> Yeah. I have >> Yeah, she's at school. Mhm. >> Y'all attack her leaving school. >> She goes and I don't want to fight and tries to flee and go somewhere else to try to get in contact with me and y'all go over there to where she's at. And that that doesn't make sense. >> Yeah. If I had more evidence of that that be a little different. >> She sold. That's literally they It was a car. They literally drove. >> She I think she's 16. >> She was drive she was driving and she was driving. >> She hopped out. Well, she parked the car and she hopped out and then she the girl in all black. She swung on with my friend first. She's like, "You ready?" And then she just hit her. And then we trying to break that up. And then they followed us all the way to the park. After they followed us to the park, they made all of us fight. And the mom was over there encouraging it. Was like, "Yeah, she was trying to coach her daughter on how to fight me." >> So I'm just I was literally just >> And that was the video that I saw at the other apartment complex, right? Off of um that's off Dunwy Place, right? That's it. >> I believe so. >> Yeah. Okay. >> I just know it's over. >> Yeah. That looks like or sandwood. >> Yeah. sound. >> Yeah, that's that's the the role name. So, you follow them there. >> Mhm. >> Like, that's weird. You're an adult. You're going to the fight. They trying to walk away from the fight. That's your daughter. Yes, she want to fight, but at what at what time do you not say, "Hey, you know what, bro? Y'all [ __ ] let that [ __ ] go." Like, it ain't even that deep. If it's that deep, let me talk to her mama. I done call the school today. The other parents, the other little girls that got assaulted, they called the school as well. >> Mhm. >> And nothing. >> Okay. >> This is the same story. The little girl Adriana, she does the and and dodge. Oh, she's still dodging from the from with me. >> It's clear adults didn't come to stop the fight. They came to make it worse. Instead of leaving the kids alone, they chased them. Didn't take the school's efforts seriously either. The truth is, [music] adults stubbornness, anger, and dumb moves made everything worse and hurt the kids. Um, >> can you give me just a moment to go back to my my cruiser and then I'm going to go speak. Hey, it's the police department. >> Hey, man. How's it going? Good. >> So, um, do you just want to step outside real quick so I can talk to you or give me one? >> Okay. Yeah. No worries. Sure. Sure. >> Hey, so >> good. Good. We just got a report of your daughter kind of getting into some kind of tussle or something. >> Okay. So, >> yep. They've been doing this and I keep telling them they got videos and everything. Today, I had to get into it because they done decided they going to meet up and fight in some girl neighborhood today. Okay. >> I've been to the school this morning. I've been to the school last week. I've been to the school the week before that. Yeah. >> I keep telling them, "Y'all got to stop." I even had to get in today and try to stop them. It was tons of these kids. She's in there now. My mom just got here. This is this is a big thing. I'm talking like they keep calling her phone. They keep talking about they're gonna kill her. This it's ridiculous. I've been up all day >> in my feelings because we we're not used to this mess. >> I'm so sick of this. I don't know who these girls are. I keep telling that school like we just moved over here less than 6 months ago. >> Sure. >> I'm so tired of this. This is not us. We don't do this mess. >> So, I had to like it's just it's a lot of mess. I got my sisters coming. They caught talking about they're gonna be at my house and all kind of stuff. I don't even know how they know where I live at. >> You said you said you did you see the fight? >> Yeah, I Yeah, I had to go there today. A friend called me and said, "Girl, I think I just saw your daughter leaving the school." And I said, "Why would she be leaving the school? What's going on?" >> Yeah. >> So, I go over there and it's some neighborhood toward the back back here toward Chick-fil-A or something. Okay. >> And it was tons of them. >> Yeah. >> Tons of them. So, I'm like, I can't I can't do this. So, I got her and we got back home. Yeah, >> cuz I can't I can't do this. I'm going have to move. I don't even know if I got to move from here. I don't know these people. And then they keep giving people my address, knocking on my door and 4 in the morning, and I don't have nobody but me and my daughter here. >> Mhm. >> I I can't do this. >> So, today uh I know that she got into a fight with another girl, right? >> It was Yes, it was a bunch of >> over it over near like Dumby Place or something. >> Yeah, somewhere back there. I don't even know the name of the place, but I know it's in it's back toward like um in the like Chick-fil-A down that way. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> This is this is just too much. I told the principal about this. >> So the this is this started my daughter just started there in February. These were her friends. That's what's killing me. These are girls that came to my house. >> So yeah, >> one of them just one of them. >> But what happened today? >> Oh, today. So it started from school. They know this is the last day. But I keep telling them, "You want to come back?" >> When the officers talked to the other mom, she felt totally helpless. Threats, calls, shoving everywhere. Kids got zero protection and adults attempts to handle it failed because of long-term drama and weak actions. Parents fear and inaction only made the fight bigger. >> You have to come back next year. You're not This is not going to end today. So, um, she went to school. They said, "Well, I'm going to kill you when you get to school or something. I don't have the text. I told her, "You have to make a paper trail anyway." >> So, wait a minute. Let's Let's go back cuz this just didn't start today. This started when they came two days ago. >> They This been going on for 3 days straight. >> So, they came here 2 days ago. The whole neighborhood >> Saturday. >> Um Saturday. Yes. Saturday. >> Sure. >> So, um there were a whole neighborhood full of children and my neighbor comes and says, "I saw your daughter out there. She was walking up there." They set her up or whatever you call it. M >> um so my neighbor said, "There's a neighborhood full of children. I saw your daughter." And I'm like, >> "No, it can't be my daughter." No. >> So I had to turn around the middle of the highway on my way to work. >> And get back here and before I got back, they had fought. >> I'm talking like grown women fighting. Yeah. >> Jumped on her, beat her down. You could see her face. It's I'm I'm embarrassed. But um So >> And you got there? You got there afterward? >> Yeah, I got there. Yeah. So I get here and um she's just like, "Mom, I was supposed to meet somebody. They set her up, whatever." So then the next day they come here again, pull to my yard. Like you got to be >> So Sunday now? Yesterday? >> Sunday now. So I'm telling um I was on with my coworker. I said, "Hey, I think these children are at my door again." So I go down there now and I say, "Look, >> I don't know what the problem is. Y'all stop." They started fighting with me there. >> The jumped on my daughter and I'm just like, "Y'all stop this." So, I was like, I can't stop all of them >> cuz it's not just one or two. >> Okay. >> So, then today I get to school. I said, well, I got a game plan. I went to work last night, got off this morning. Sorry, my breath is chilling. >> Okay. >> But um I got off work this morning and >> I said, "I'm going to take you to the school and you can just take the um test in the principal's office." And he's going to tell you this cuz he knows these children. >> Apparently, he says, "I don't want to meet their parents." And I said, "Yes, I do want to meet their parents. I need to know who their parents are." >> Okay? um cuz that's how we used to do things. But anyway, so um she had to take her test in the principal's office. So then it's um going back and forth. He had showed me some stuff where she wasn't she was going back and forth, too. It's not just them right now. She's retaliating and all this and that. So um >> she says um he says, "Well, you're a good kid. I hadn't had no issues out of you. I'm gonna let you take your test and you'll be done today." I said, "Well, thank God." So, as she's taking her test, these kids walking by doing this stuff and throwing hands at the window. And I'm like, are you not seeing this? But he did walk off. He wasn't there at the moment. So, I went to go get him. I said, Mr. Rogers, some kids just passed by. I don't know who these children are. Apparently, it's the whole darn story. >> Okay. I I understand I have a lot of problems, but So, today you're good. Um, >> I was just trying to tell you the whole context. I got too much. >> So, today was over like you said behind the Chick-fil-A over done when he plays. Yes. >> Um, and then it was your daughter and and >> Oh, it was my daughter. It was >> the whole scene screamed zero transparency and no responsibility. Mom stressed from daily fights. Kids at risk at home and school. No adult was stepping up. Constantly threatening the kids and pressuring mom. Straight up unforgivable. Total lack of order everywhere. >> Um, the little girl um, Bishop or something like that. And you broke them up. >> Yeah, I was trying to pull them apart literally like, "Y'all stop this. What are y'all doing?" And before I look, one hit me in the back of the head. And I said, "Well, what the heck?" >> I don't know. And I called my sister because she's in um Washington. She's military. So I said, "Look, get here." I said, "Because this is too much. We got to move. We got to do something." So, and of course, my sister's like, "Don't let them move. You're out of your house." But I don't know who these people are coming to my house every night. last night. My daughter's here by herself and she's getting knocks on the door. She's getting calls. They spamming her phone, whatever you call it. Um from these different numbers, like text numbers, I don't know. But I tried to call one of them back. >> But um >> Did you say you had a video? >> Um I guess they got something on the online or something or I don't I hadn't seen anything, >> but cuz when I when I ask her what's going on, you're lying to me. That's another thing. If you can't tell me the truth, I can't help you. Why did Why didn't you go over to the where they were going to fight today? >> Because somebody told me, "Hey, you know, I saw your daughter leaving. It's one of the um one of the um teachers that go out there to >> Yeah. Okay. Um >> but I'm like, "This don't make no sense. I've had enough of this." Then as I'm leaving trying to pull my daughter in the car, I finally get her in the car and um the little girl throws a rock and hits the back of my car. So I stop. I'm like, "Little girl, I'm going to I need to talk to your mom. I don't have a mom. I don't have a mama." I'm like, "Well, what?" >> If you were able to speak to the if you were able to speak to the mother of the other >> I need to speak to somebody. Somebody needs to come. I don't want to see children. I need adults in this situation, sir. Because how are these children able to do this stuff? >> How how are they getting away? Where are the parents been for 3 days coming to my house? We didn't we don't pull up to no one's house. That's disrespectful. So if I can see a parent, a daddy, a cousin, auntie, somebody, tell me something and tell me why your children are this way >> and why they have such a a problem with this child in this house. >> Okay? >> And I've asked the principal several times and he'll tell you. I I'm actually, matter of fact, I've been waiting to get him involved in some of this because he could have told me the numbers or something of these children. This could have been done back in like March, >> okay? >> If we would have sat down and said something. I'm sorry I'm yelling or whatever, but this is too much. >> Okay. Uh, just give me one second. I'm I'm going to go back to my cruise real quick. I'll be right back. Okay. >> The officer then returned to speak with the first mother and explained the legal side of the situation. >> I'm sorry. >> I I didn't tell you were here. I didn't tell her you were here or anything. Would you like to speak with her? It would that or or no? >> Yeah, sure. I have no problem with that. >> Okay. And you'll be civil and everything. Honestly, from her story and from your story, >> it's clear things are out of control. Mom's trying to take charge. Instead of stopping the kids' fight, things got even more dangerous. Fear and panic everywhere. Adults acted without thinking. Straight up ignoring kids safety. Their careless moves put everyone at serious risk. >> So, you and I both know you're not getting 100% truth from your daughter. I'm not going to get 100% truth from her. Mhm. >> The story is somewhere in the middle and I know you're her mom and you're doing the right thing. So, I I appreciate the way you've been handling it. >> If you speak with her, I'm going to be honest with you. I don't have a ton of charges if they're they're getting into a fight and then the adult shouldn't be there, but breaking them up isn't I'm going to have a difficult time telling a judge that that that I'm arresting someone on that. And I don't know your situation, but I I have a funny feeling I probably wouldn't have charged you with anything either. >> That's you're saying the same thing that the other officers were saying. They're trying to figure out why the detective went as far as to charge me even still. And I wasn't present, but she was present. My thing is you actually put your hands on these children. >> Understood. >> And there's no way that she can tell me different because I'm sitting here looking at it. So that's what I have a problem with. That's what she need to be charged with. >> Even if she don't get to contribute into delinquency, she still assaulted. That's child abuse if you want to take it that far because those are still children. You're an adult. They're not legal. They're 15, 16 year old kids. >> Yeah. It's not quite. It's not quite. >> Punching and slamming on a child, dragging them by the hair. That's abuse. >> I know that. I know that her breaking up a fight isn't necessarily isn't necessarily a >> Watch out. Victory >> isn't a charge. >> She breaking up no fight. That lady hit my child and she hit another child. Hit three. >> If you if you speak with her, are you okay with not brushing anything? Cuz I I really don't have a ton to go off of. And I'm not and I'm and I'm sympathetic to you and I get what I get where you're coming from, but I feel I feel uncomfortable going off of a a 10-second video where two children were fighting and then and then someone came in and and and ripped the children apart. And I know she I know she swung and I know she grabbed her by her hand and she moved her. I I get that and she shouldn't have been there and I know I know you're not in the wrong and you're not even >> I agree with you but I agree with you as far as the breaking up cuz I like I said I still would have I would have broke it up. >> That's not my issue when you physically you ball your fist up and you hit them. >> You slam them. You drag. That's where I have an issue. She has to [clears throat] be charged for it. There's no way I'm walking around with the charges I have when I was in the shower and she's about to walk away scotfree. And then what's going to happen? Not even being dramatic. This going to start again tomorrow and then they going to fight in school again tomorrow. I'm going to get called to the school. Noo-Noo's going to get suspended for 10 days. >> Can I see the video one last time? >> Mommy, let me call you right back. >> Yes. >> This this >> I do I do take it seriously. Like not not only your complaint but also taking people's rights away. >> No, no, no. I understand fully. It's just this is frustrating cuz it's been going on forever and ever. And if I had knew her prior to, you know, when Jalia originally started it, >> I would have definitely reached out to her and been like, "Hey sis, cuz I did the same thing with the other mom. I can show you the text messages." I literally reached out to her. >> Mom kept jumping in, but the mess kept growing. Kids got pushed, scared, and adults weren't making smart calls. School parent communication sucked. The truth, every action just made the fight worse, and the kids were on the edge of getting hurt. >> I called her in front of the police and she was like, "Oh, I knew they was going to fight. I sent her over there to fight. That bothered me cuz you talk to me any other time. We try to handle this with the kids. Like there's no need for that. She didn't put her hands on my child and I didn't touch her child. >> Okay. >> But you actually put your hands on my >> Can I see the video? >> Sure. >> That's just where I have a problem at. I'm agreeing with everything else. I just have a problem with it. >> I'm let my hand Oh. She asked for this liberty weak ass, >> bro. Liberty move. >> Oh [ __ ] >> I don't have I don't have a >> [screaming] >> But you're not breaking it up. You're actually hitting this. >> I have a problem with that. >> It's one thing if you breaking it up. I'm I'm all for it with her, but it's another thing when you actually physically attack them. I'm gonna I'm out cider for in uh being involved in a brawl. I'm assault's not really on the table. Um so it'll be it'll be disorderly conduct through the city. Um >> I'm sorry. I'm doing this cuz it's up. I don't want to do this to nobody. >> I understood. Um she's not going to jail. She's getting a citation. Um but it is an appearance in court and it's it comes with jail time if she's found guilty and all that kind of stuff. But um if you guys can go hang out in your car because I know that um I'm going to have to get that uh video from you. >> I'm going to I'm going to cite her. Um so if you guys would hang out there, I'm going to be able to give you all the information, but I know that if you're down here and she >> she's you know, obviously it's not going to be a very friendly conversation between you and her if she's getting charged for disorderly. And I understand even still, like I said, I'm still willing to talk to her. But I she understand for me and I can be civil. >> You've been very reasonable the entire time >> cuz if it was the other way around and my kid that did it, you know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. >> First of all, y'all would have got a call for her first cuz I would have been whooping that ass >> because I don't I don't do that. And then I would sincerely to her, I would have no choice but to humble myself and apologize. >> You know what I'm saying? If it was the other way around. >> I'm going to go get her information. So if you guys would just go hang out in your car, I'll be back with you guys and like give me a comments. City DC >> for being involved with the brawl. >> Thank you very much. >> Um, so I'll just be sure I have honest with you. I'm going to site you for disorderly conduct for being involved with the brawl. >> Officers were digging into every tiny detail to gather more proof. The woman with the umbrella became a key witness by showing all the video evidence to the officers over and over. She made it clear who sparked this whole mess and made it spiral out of control. >> Okay. >> Um it is it is a city ordinance. Um >> Okay. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I'm sorry. Say that one more time. >> So basically you were you were involved in a brawl. >> Yes. Trying to deescalate. >> You were still involved with it. So it's just going to be disorder. I'm not arresting you. It's a ticket. Um Jesus Christ the mercy. Um, so it's just going to be a ticket for disorderly conduct to the city. >> It's you're not going to jail, not put handcuffs on you, nothing like that. Basically like a like a ticket. >> Um, >> so >> this is Can I Do Do they have Is someone here? Cuz my my daughter just um said something about someone called her and said her mom is outside or something. >> Yeah, I've been speaking with her. Um, >> okay. Can I speak with her? >> Are you going to be civil? >> Of course. Well, I don't want to fight nobody. I I want >> I'm not I'm not saying fine, but Yeah. Obviously, cuz cuz you are getting you are getting sided with something. Obviously, you're probably a little upset with that. I don't want you to >> Oh, no. Okay. >> No, I'm just I don't get in trouble. >> Just give me a few minutes and you and you guys can talk to another. >> Yeah. Let me speak with her today cuz I want this done today. I just I cannot. >> Okay. Give me one moment. detail >> and why she didn't why she didn't come earlier to you know she's >> I think she was at work or something. >> Okay. >> Does she know what's been going on? >> She >> Yeah, she has a general idea. >> She's been saying she doesn't wear >> I did see I did see the video um where you were wearing white and black. >> Yes. >> Yeah. So, >> um so it's just going to be involved in a fight. It's >> not you're not going to jail. >> No. And um it's not even that. >> What's a good telephone number for you real quick? Um, it's not even that. My problem is if we don't fix something today, you know, that could make much worse. >> That's why I'm going to let you speak with her here in a minute. >> I just want this done. >> Okay. I've got all your information here. >> And I I honestly wanted to get y'all involved before this, but I didn't have She won't They won't give me the emails or the paper trail. I [clears throat] can't come. If they're going to if they're going to fight and you call 911, I would never be charging with this. >> Oh, let me tell you the Let me tell you. So, they said they were calling the police, these grown men, like I was just telling him that was >> I said, "Okay, well, if you're going to call them, you need to call them now." I said, "These children, you don't know if they got a gun if you don't know what they do cuz they don't fight there nowadays." >> So, they he said, "Well, all right. I'm going to call." It was just like, "If you let these You're letting these children down. >> You can't you can't have this. But you got you got to because because you are an adult, you do have to get your daughter out of the situation as well. >> That's the thing. And I told her I said, "You know what? >> Like my sister said, cuz I called her in the midst of this." I was like, "Trina, I don't know what to do." I said, "So many of them, I can't even." She said, "Well, just get nausea out of it." She said, "Because all you can do is one hit me in the head before I could even turn around. So I'm trying to grab her and move her." >> She steady go. I'm like, "You know what? This is too much." >> Claims of being reasonable, total nonsense. She couldn't communicate effectively. Kids were constantly at risk. Every delay, every half-ass attempt showed her lack of responsibility. Emotional, uncontrolled decisions wrecked things instead of fixing them, making the chaos even worse. >> This is too much. But I would like to talk to her mom and I'll let you do that and carrying on. But I do want to make her understand that this can't keep going on. >> I you both are echoing very similar things. Um, thank you so much. >> I'm just going to come back up here. It's basically like a ticket, like if you ever got a traffic ticket, you just got to sign it saying that uh you received it. It's not an admission of guilt, nothing like that. Okay. So, just give me uh I'll probably be back up here in 5 to 6 minutes. I just got to print the stuff off and then um have you sign it. So, if you hear knock at the door, it'll be me. Okay. >> Yes. Well, I'm going to stay in here. Does she Does she want to talk now? I can't >> I'm going to I'm after I after I have you sign that stuff, I'll bring you back down and then you'll be able to talk. Okay. All righty. Thank you, ma'am. I appreciate your cooperation. You know, I'm telling you, I wish I would have called you guys before. I just easily thought it was going to be worse because I was like, well, if I don't have anything to bring you all, then y'all are going to stay cuz I'm from here >> because I I did view I did view two videos of >> That's what I'm saying. >> So, one was at um it looked like it was off of um Done What He Plays and the other one was right here. >> Yeah. So, and you were wearing a green shirt that Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Give me one moment. I'll be uh I'll be back in a couple minutes. Go. A few minutes later, the officer returned with a citation for disorderly conduct for her to sign. >> Hello. >> Hey. >> Hey. So, I just need a couple signatures from you. >> All right. Hold on one second, please. >> Um, so, uh, this is just you being summoned into the court. >> Okay. >> So, if you if you'd like, we can go downstairs and you can Can you speak with her? Okay. for the military. So >> you come down here. >> This is >> Hey, how you doing? I have been trying to get in contact with you. Are Whose mom are you? >> Me. Okay. I've been trying to reach you through the school, through everything. I've talked with Mr. Rogers. I've talked to Mr. Sheridan. I've talked to teachers. They may like I don't want to talk to you because you're a bad person. And I said, "Well, what how bad are these people? What is happening? What am I getting into?" So he says, "Today I had to literally take my daughter to the office because don't you know these kids are beating on the doors and all this stuff. This has been going on." Do you know this been going on since February? >> No, it's been going on longer than that. >> No. No. My daughter had been to the school longer than that. She just started there in February. Do you know who my daughter is? >> Nia. >> Ana. Yeah. Okay. >> Anna, >> she was friends with Jalia. >> Who is Jalia? See, that's what I'm saying. It's too many children in this. That's why I'm letting you know it was way longer than what >> you may be privy to. >> No, my child just came from across town. >> I get that. >> Who is Jalia? Where what school did she go to? >> Jalia went to North Springs. >> Okay. >> But all of the kids were kind of they know each other. Jalia, Adriana, Mariana, Kaya. >> I don't know any of them. >> That's Shamaria. It's some child with Shaniah. She lives up the street in St. James. >> Promise group my daughter. She wouldn't have known him. We literally we had moved to Willer County in I mean Cobb County less than a year ago. >> Her negligence was obvious. She stayed clueless, blamed others, acted like she didn't know about the fights. No early investigation, no monitoring. Kids stayed at risk. She only reacted, putting herself first instead of protecting the kids. >> That's what I'm telling you. That's why it was so weird to me. But she was friends with your daughter first when she got there. Yeah, they were all friends. somebody Goldie or somebody and um another girl, they were friends. I've saw your daughter come to my truck before, come to my car before. >> So that's why it was when they come with this whole stuff at school. I'm like, "Okay, let's deescalate this. I don't do drama. I don't do this stuff here. This is too much." So I talked to Mr. Rogers and Mr. Sheridan and he said, "Okay, well, what what do you want to go?" And he said, "No, your daughter goes for bad bishop something, Bishop." And I said, "Well, I don't know about that." I said, "But I need to talk to some parents." He said, "Well, no, you don't want to talk to their parents." And I said, "Well, I need to talk to somebody. Some adults need to be in this cuz I I can't deal with this right here because about my children, >> Lord." So, before this even got up, I needed to get a number. I didn't have a number. >> And that's odd because whatever Mr. Rogers told you, I'm going to take that up with him cuz he has an issue with me because I told him if he cannot speak to her However you handle your kids, I may not agree with it, but that's you. I'm saying that's you. I have to step out of that cuz that's not my child. But you're not going to handle mine >> like she's some little boy off in the street. You know what I'm saying? If she raon, call me. I got your back. >> Who is that? >> Rogers. So that's what his issue is with me. I told him straight flat out. >> Well, as you should. >> If you have a problem, since you have an issue with her, stay away from her. >> And the problem is why couldn't he let us talk? >> But I asked. >> Yeah, >> I asked. I told I'm more than w you're more than welcome to get I told him I told Mr. Sheridan I told the actual principal you're more than welcome to get my number. >> You have like the other parents in the neighborhood so we could just talk. >> No >> anyway's mother I've been trying to get Adriana's mother say >> which one is Adriana. >> So I some little light-skinned girl stay with a bunch of different color hair look kind of ratchet. I don't know but she can her and Julia came to my house and jumped this one. >> Oh my god. This is not what I'm telling you when they came here. Oh, they didn't just have two, three, four people. >> They were all out already. >> They called the office called my phone personally because they know my daughter. My daughter is huge in the community. She help out everybody. This and that. So, everybody knows her. They called me and I had to leave work and try to get here. So, that was the first day. Then it was the second day. And now here we are on the third day. >> What first day? >> The first day was like Saturday. It was all day Saturday. I know I'm talking about when I tell you I didn't know all this is when I want I work night shift but now she tells me well mom they've been well you can't tell me late cuz now it looks like what are you hiding you got to tell me now >> I've seen the messages >> yeah they've all been going back and forth I'm not defending her >> I'm not saying that the first message came from this one >> it didn't I promise you I see and that's what I was telling him that's what he showed me today it didn't he they these kids had this thing printed out >> communication was a total fail she couldn't didn't connect with parents, school, or authorities. Her statements were all over the place, defensive as hell, dodging responsibility, acting shady. It's clear she wasn't serious about kids safety or solving the problem. Her presence made things even worse. >> And you could see, I don't know, all these children, but it wasn't just her first. >> I know it's not just her, but what I'm saying the with them two how they went bad, it came from her. whoever somebody went back and told how kids do he say she say and instead of being like man bump that you know what I'm saying let me come to you they're not as mature as any other adult >> of course they're chill so they aren't even so me on the other I'm like bro just go talk to her because at the end of the day like you can get more with communication than you communication than anything >> and one thing she know me like I that's what I do >> right >> so I'm not if I can talk to you like an adult and we can squash it or come to some kind of result even if it's we don't get along I'm okay with that I've been telling her talking to >> you also have again the other children no that so it's boosting up nonetheless so with all of this I my where I have an issue is is cuz I'm an adult >> of course yes we are both >> so if I seen the fight I'm not facilitating I'm not getting this y'all going to stop and we I'mma hear your side >> I was telling them yesterday when they >> when I seen it when I seen the video I have a problem I know what it looks like the coaching and And I was telling them, like my neighbor said, you can't get into with all of them. So, I ain't have no choice but to let them go. >> I said, well, if it's done, then let it be done. >> I'm talking about the coaching and the actually putting the hands on. It ain't just my child cuz I seen it today. >> I Yeah, I was in there pulling off. I was trying to pull them away from each other. I wasn't I don't know what this video cuz trust me, I know these edits, trust me. But I was there trying to literally pull this child and pull these Yeah. Well, no. You know what? No, I don't even care. >> The video I have >> cuz I can only imagine what you have. >> Do you have the whole thing or whatever? Cuz it's always But from the start, from the start when I'm talking about what I'm trying to tell from me coming in the complex and all that stuff. Let me see that. >> Well, not coming in the complex, but from when the first >> Okay, so let me tell you how it started. >> I got there cuz somebody told me, "Your daughter is about to get in some trouble." And I said, "No, she's not. I'm going. I'm on my way." I count I came over there to that area. I pulls in and I see like some other kids running up the road and I saw my daughter. I janked her ass. And I'm just going to be excuse my language. I janked her. Get in the car. >> She over there. It's four or five. It did you see all the kids? It's 6 7 8 9 10 of them. So I'm like, "Okay, this ain't about to go on." Well, then it goes to them chasing some red truck or something behind me. So I pulled over. My daughter jumps out. At this point now, they done got into it. They standing there staring off like they about to be in a chicken fight. I'm like, you know what? I can't do nothing. I called my sister. My sister's on the phone now. She can tell you. She's got her own videos. >> That's fine. I'm going off of what I seen on the videos and what I saw was you a black and white shirt, right? >> Yeah. >> I seen you literally grab a child, slam. >> Yes. No, I >> I was trying to grab a child. You slam a child. You hit my child. And then the other child, you literally I don't know if it's because >> you hit nobody other child. >> Physical intervention way out of line. Pulling, dragging, hitting kids under the control excuse is straight abuse. Her excuses were personal, ignoring reality. Claims of protecting kids looked [music] fake because of her reckless moves, making it even more dangerous for the kids. >> I just grabbed one. That's all I could get. >> It's in the video. I lit the last child that I seen you on was Taylor. And you had Taylor. You literally >> I pinned her down and said, "Y'all need to stop this. Y'all got to stop this." >> You had her by her hair standing up. At first, it was on the ground and you dragged her. >> I was trying to move her. I would never fight a child. First off, it all aren't going to agree on it. I got it. But what are we going to do going forward? >> Let me just say this. I live here. I don't even know how they got my address and all that. >> Well, the kids gave it to me cuz by the time I seen the video and I'm like, "Well, why? What the hell?" No, let me go holl at the mom. Cuz my plan actually was like I told them when I found out about the fight Saturday was to come and actually have a conversation with you and try to figure out what was going on with the kids. >> Exactly. But I came out there this morning and I passed out at work. So I had to go to the emergency room. >> You okay? >> I'm I'm good. >> Then by the time I got home, I get the call one child in the apartment complex was like they attacked her on the way home from school. She we right behind the school. >> Wait a minute. Who attacked you? >> Your baby. It wasn't her. She wasn't either. I promise you, she was at school today. I was there with her until about 11:30. >> The only thing I'm saying is I got the call and she was attacked. Then by the time I got that call, then I got my middle baby. She showed me the iPad. Noo-Noo was trying. Her phone blacked out. So I knew she couldn't call me. I'm thinking she's at work. I got the message and I'm like, "Okay, where the hell he at?" I pull up. The neighbors that was outside, they spoke to me. I spoke to the parents and I also spoke to >> Where are these parents? I hadn't seen none since this thing started. in February. >> Well, the mama want to get involved. >> I told them that this was going to happen. >> But okay, look. >> So, can y'all exchange information or something like that? So, that way if if >> you see something or you see something, y'all can call each other. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I'm normally I'm not even being funny. I'm normally out the loop like I I understand. But in the house, >> but but clearly she was at two of the fights in the last 3 days. So, she would be able to call you at a minimum. So, would you reason this front up here? They always up there. So if I see anything and I see your daughter, which I know now who she is, >> um I guess I can call you, but we won't be here long cuz I I can't deal with you. >> So can you all exchange information? Cuz I'm not trying to rude, but I do we do have to get going here shortly. So >> um would you I'll get your number. >> Well, thank you for both for your cooperation. I appreciate it. Okay. >> No, I've been I've been wanting to meet up with you and deescalate this because when I was in high school, the worst happened in this and I've been terrified since. I do not like all this mess going on. And then two, it's there's no reason. There's no reason. These are both kids. >> So, I'm I'm we're going to get going. If you all want Okay. Okay. Yeah. Okay. I can't move. And thank you. >> All right. Take care. Yep. better. >> Throughout the investigation, the officers handled it like pros. They calmed the situation, focused on cooperation between the moms. Outcome: Super positive. Trust in law enforcement boosted. Lesson learned. Adults need to act responsibly, think before reacting, and communicate clearly. No one got arrested. Everything was settled by mutual agreement.
