So embarrassing. I'm going to get evicted because of this. Like I'm literally going to get evicted. My landlord already told me I'm not allowed to have any domestic calls. >> I'm literally about to get evicted. >> What? What's a good phone number for you? >> And at the end of the day, yeah, it is my fault because we're both adults here. And I >> He doesn't live here. You don't have to let him in. And I wouldn't open the door for him. >> No, there's He has nothing here. I'm not going to open the door for him. >> When When did he threaten you? >> Right now. While we're standing here talking, he's literally texting me, sending me threats. >> Okay. Like, >> let me see. >> Yeah. On May 24th, 2023, things got heated, not romantically, when a couple's mourning spiraled from laundry confusion to a full-blown domestic showdown. Clothes were lost, tempers were found, and one car paid the ultimate price. It had everything: threats, broken headlights, and regrettable texts. Watch the video to know what actually happened when emotions and hands went flying. You guys kind of sad. I don't know. My name is >> What's going on? >> Um, so I have been dating this guy for a few months. Um, I've been talking to this guy for a few months. Uh, we've been dating. We've been spending every day together. We've already had there's been a couple other incidents that I should have stopped. And then this morning, he was trying to take a shower. The dog had threw up on the bed. So, I'm taking all the covers off. And I guess I covered up his clothes. He couldn't find them. And he literally spazzed out on me. He's like, "You move my clothes. You move my shit." I was like, I never touched I never even saw where your clothes. I have no idea where your clothes are. So he's like, I'm leaving. But he does this all the time like where he gets like upset for no reason and he leaves. But like I'm like not trying to let him leave. So I hit his phone and I'm like, where are you going? Like this is you're literally mad for no reason. Like you're leaving for no reason. And I hit his phone. He went out and he kicked my car. He broke my headlight. So I'm like, "What the are you doing?" And I did. I hit him. I didn't hit him with a closed fist. I hit him I smacked him in the face. He's talking about he called the police. Oh, this [ __ ] just punched me in my face. I have cameras all over my house. Like, you literally just kicked my car hard as for no reason. And then he's sending me threats right now. Like, literally texting me threats. Don't worry, I got something for you. You want to put your hands on me and call the cops? I said you called them first. I wasn't going to. He's >> Why isn't he here? >> Cuz he left. I don't know. He left. He doesn't live here. He does not live here. We were just staying the night. He's in the neighborhood. I have his location. He's not walking back. He probably sees the cop cars at the He's at the end of the road. >> He's got He's out of bond right now. What? A lot of balls. >> What? And this is the the the thing you >> car. He literally came out and kicked my car. >> Yeah. Look at his shoe print. >> Yep. I see that. >> So embarrassing. I'm going to get evicted because of this. Like I'm literally going to get evicted. My landlord already told me I'm not allowed to have any domestic calls. >> I'm literally about to get evicted. >> What What's a good phone number for you? And at the end of the day, yeah, it is my fault because we're both adults here and I should know better than to be [ __ ] with somebody who's obviously an idiot. >> And you hit him after he did that. >> Yeah, after he did that, we went inside and I was like, >> was it like out of anger? >> Yeah, out of anger. It was a reaction. I didn't know what to do. Like I just I was so mad. Why did you just break my car over nothing? Nothing even happened. >> He's calling me. Should I answer? >> Yeah, tell him to come back if you can. I I got to speak to him. >> Call failed. Call ended. I swear to God, you tell the cops anything about so dumb. He's calling me back. >> Yeah, answer it. >> Hello. What are you calling the cops? >> Yeah, I'm with the cops right now cuz you literally scared the [ __ ] out of me. >> But you punished me. >> Just tell >> because you kicked my car. >> Just tell them I We got to speak. >> They They want to speak to you. They would like you to come back so they can speak to you. >> That ain't going to happen. >> All right. Well, then it looks bad for you. >> I don't care. I'm not coming back. They suck my dick. [ __ ] them. >> Okay. So, he doesn't want to talk to this guy. >> You didn't do [ __ ] So, you didn't kick my car. You didn't vandalize my car? >> No. >> I have it on camera. So, you're hit. >> Okay. Yeah. You have him on camera punching me, too, right? >> No, I don't. I was in the house. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> And I already told them. I told them. I didn't hit you with a closed fist. >> She admitted she hit him, but made sure we knew it wasn't a closed fist. And the cherry on top, our emotionally bruised Romeo decided to play ghost, refused to return, and rage texted like a teenage boy denied PS5 time. Cameras, accusations, regrets. It was giving true crime situationship edition. >> You're a [ __ ] You're a [ __ ] Grow up. >> And you guys been dating? >> Yeah, for like since March 6th. >> All right. >> He's already cost me $600 in damage and some other [ __ ] Heed up. I I'm stupid for even [ __ ] He paid me back. He gave me a ban back. He $600 worth of my clothes and he gave me a ban. So, I thought we were cool. >> All right. So, let me just get the story straight. you were fixing your sheets cuz your dog >> and I accidentally put the blanket on his clothes and he spazzed out. He said, "I you you're being weird. You don't know where you [ __ ] you move my clothes." And I'm like trying to figure out He said, "No, he said he was going to leave." He starts packing up his stuff. So I hit his phone. I hit his phone because I didn't want him to leave. >> And then he comes out here and said, "I'm going to your car up." I said, "What the you better not." And he literally runs out the door and jump kicks my car. >> Got it. >> And that's when I like I was still inside. I was like, "Why the [ __ ] would you do that?" That's when I ran inside and I told my room. I said, "Call the police. Call the police right now." I said, "You're done." And then he like got all up in my face trying to get take my phone, put it in his pocket. So I'm grabbing his phone. I grab the back of his knees with my leg, take him down and get my phone back, run inside, try to he opens the door, and that's when I just Bro, like what are you doing? >> How long you been dating? >> Since March 6th. Not even barely that long. >> Okay. All right. Just give me a second. Sorry for all that. Um, so this is what we got going on. technically by you stating you hit him and with the whole dating you did commit a crime. It is domestic violence, dating violence, whatever you look, but he also committed a crime too with the property damage. He's not here to testify on his on his side of the story. I know what you said, but technically if he was here and he did want to talk to us, you'd be going to jail. Property damage is not necessarily something you want to hit someone for. So, if he wanted to cooperate with us, you'd be the one going right now. That's not going to happen because he's not here. So, it it's going to be documented, but I'm just letting you know if he if he comes back here and something happens again, someone's most likely going to jail. So, do you understand what's happening right now? You understand why the whole dating violence thing and the battery? Okay. So, do you have any other questions for us as far as like >> So, what happens? Cuz he's threatening me right now. He's threatening me that he's going to come. He's going to get me [ __ ] up. He's going to run up into my house. And this is not the first time he's threatened me before. So, what am I supposed to do? >> You don't have to live. He doesn't live here, right? >> No, he doesn't. But what happens if somebody comes back and [ __ ] my car up again? >> Just call us. At that point, he'll be here hopefully and we could do something about it. But he doesn't live here. You don't have to let him in. And I wouldn't open the door for him. No, there's he has nothing here. I'm not going to open the door for him. >> When When did he threaten you? >> Right now, while we're standing here talking, he's literally texting me, sending me threats. >> Okay. Like, >> let me see. >> Yeah. >> By the end, it all boiled down to technicalities. She hit him. That's battery. He stomped on her car. Property damage. But since he who dinied out of the scene and wouldn't testify, she got the lucky draw. Her biggest regret, dating a walking red flag with sneakers. Her second, probably doing it all under the watchful eye of her landlord's no drama policy. >> Don't worry, I got something for you. You want to put your hands on me and call the cops? I said, you called them first. I wasn't going to. Floyd was calling them. You mean? No, she wasn't. She never started. You're hit. You need help. I didn't do [ __ ] I'm going to get you wrecked. You thought you got jumped last time. Elaborate, please. You'll see. I bet I'll be the last. Put your ugly hands on. You literally kicked my car. my reaction was called for. That's going to be the least of your worry. I swear to God, >> he's not necessarily insinuating he's going to do anything to you. He's just And I know it sounds we all know what he means, but as far as what I'm looking at, he's not telling you he's going to hurt you. He's he's more saying something is going to happen, >> which is I I tried leaving him with multiple messages, but I can text him and say like, "Hey, I'm just trying to get in contact." >> What's the likelihood that he'll text me back? >> Probably not. He's scared right now cuz he's out on bond. He doesn't want any police contact. That's why he's acting like this. Like, do I get in trouble for this for having police contact? Because I'm on probation. >> I don't. >> I would let your PO in contact with us cuz it is going to be documented in the report. >> Technically, you both did wrong. >> But if he was here right now, >> okay, I heard you. I'd be going to jail. Thanks for >> I'm just letting you know. He's calling me. This is Officer Evan. I just need to talk to you on what happened cuz she's standing here telling me one thing and I'd like to talk to you and ask about what happened on your side of it. >> Then the officer got the man on the phone and he claimed the whole mess started when she tried to hide his phone. He pushed her aside to get it back, then headed for the door, but not before she punched him in the back of the head. He called the police afterward, but wasn't exactly helpful. His answers were vague, and he clearly wasn't eager to talk. She was charged with simple battery dating violence for punching her partner in the back of the head during a heated argument.
