on June 15th 2024 officers were called to a Walmart due to a shoplifting incident a woman who had filled a shopping cart with stolen items tried to exit the store without paying opting so she only rang up four items but she took all the other items so she took those items past the final point of sell without paying for that okay stand off you're under arrest no stand under arrest look why is being rude like that because you're under arrest you're being really really really hey stop don't do that hey stop what are you doing what are you do why are you are you going to resist I'm not you're why are you getting rough why is he getting rough because you even done anything you did you shot it say you're under arrest don't be mean to me look at what he's doing he's hurting me he doesn't have to hurt me tell him just stop hurting me when the officer arrived at the scene they began by searching the female suspect who was present at the time after thoroughly searching her for any evidence or items related to the incident the officer decided to take her into a designated room for further investigation no tell him to stop not but I'm not doing anything wrong hold on stop no don't don't do that to me I'm not resisting please stop right please I'm just don't hurt me don't hurt me I'm not resist you guys don't have to hurt me then stop resisting now I'm not trying to resist don't hurt me don't hurt Hur me why are you hurting me put your arm I'm going to go to jail your I'm not doing anything wrong you don't have to be rude and mean like this I was just talking with him first we can collecting information and another was interacting with an employee related to the incident a third officer was specifically focused on questioning the suspect asking him he just looked in there and no there's nothing in there from the store see I didn't shoplift nothing there nothing in there unbelievable well look at there's nothing in there from the store God I don't care if it's $2 there isn't anything in there I mean she still has L press charges y why I rang what I had the thing you turned a simple shop I didn't a no I didn't you want you wanted to get rough I'm not even I wasn't even resisting I told you you started cut me three times to put your bag on the ground and you know why I do that four items on right here was that's why I tell people to put their bags on the ground doing anything like that I wasn't doing anything to put you in the har no that's not right what you did that's not right what you did I was not trying to hurt anybody I don't deserve to be treated like that then don't resist I wasn't resisting oh that's not what the body Cam's going to show oh I'm sure it is going to show that cuz I didn't resist anything all right I'm going to read you some increasingly agitated screaming and crying she pleaded with the officers to release her and threaten them warning of serious consequences if they did not not comply with her demands no you don't okay situation the officers were taken aback by the female suspect's extreme lack of cooperation R huh a how do you spell your last first name what's your middle initial a what is your birthday what your yeah cuz you were under arrest but I wasn't resisting it doesn't matter if you were resisting you were under arrest which means we have the right to use Force to put you in handcuffs which means we're allowed to touch you we didn't have to if you would have listened if you would have stood up and turned around like we told you to you wouldn't have ended up on the ground but you did end up on the ground because of your choices not because of ours we don't want to take people to the ground you didn't have to do that yeah we sure did not have to if you would have listened you forced us no I yes you did I didn't you did because even after you cowed up on that thing and knocked off my body camera oh I I was swinging and pushing and that's not what I said that's not true okay well I never said that I said you CW up on the bench despite repeated requests for her ID and other identification details she refused to comply stating firmly that she would not provide any information it's going to be on the body camera okay and you can request too I don't need to request anything okay well they'll play it for you in court you didn't have to do it well if you would have listened we wouldn't have had to have done it it was something simple we probably were just going to trespass you you probably would have been on your way but now you're probably going to spend the weekend and Score Jail cuz you won't be able to see a judge till Monday have to do I wasn't trying to resist you guys if well did you listen to us when we asked you to do simple things I was talking with him okay that that's not what I'm asking so that's not what asking with five different people at one time it's not okay what were the two police officers telling you to do I was talking with him okay that's that's past the point because my partner he was not even in the room when I came in well your partner was yelling and what was what was he yelling you what was he yelling at you to do I don't know I just seen his eyes looking at me really aggressively okay well if you would have listened to him the first time he told you to do something he probably and if had to yell at you I worked with him for a long time he doesn't just yell at people for no reason it's however you want to say it he didn't have to get that aggressive okay and he said you didn't do anything wrong today correct you said you checked out and bought everything yes okay so this is your receipt that you had when you checked out right yes so you spent this this is one to check out oh this one that was okay so you only bought four items from Walmart today I bought the bed and the flower and the I don't remember what else it was two other things okay so you bought four things how many things were in your cart when you walked on the store the bed and the flowers and and there was nothing else no there was other thing I don't remember what the other thing was for the dog okay this is the total amount of stuff that was in the cart I've got 10 items in my cart if you count this an item this what you stand in place of a dog and you actually 8 you walk out with was 45 oh I didn't I didn't realize that so you accidentally took this off the other dock bed no I was looking at the I thought it was a cat bed and I was going to get the cat bed too I had a bunch of things in my item but in my car I from I didn't realize that I had my EVT card I didn't have it with me that's why I put everything back by any means we've been watching you for the entire time we watched it grab the cat bed then throw it back up on the top shelf so just shut up this the best thing you could do is remain silent that's what I'm do is my the flower they were yeah but they were clearance they were clearance and that's why I didn't I forgot about SC cuz I was thinking about who was I supposed to talk to about them being marked down the lady being the lady back there with me was she was saying the same thing that the guy was would mark them down for us they were in clearance story for the dog food too that you didn't SC no I forgot the dogood I get how about that spray St underneath the bag I don't know about the spray stuff I thought I put everything everything back so just jumped in your cart underneath no no if you were watching and you seen I was putting everything back cuz I didn't have my everything back we wouldn't be here right now after Gathering additional information the officer confirmed that the female suspect was indeed involved in the theft the officer then moved the female suspect closer to the patrol vehicle she was then transported to the police station for further investigation where a more thorough examin of her involvement in the theft and her behavior could be conducted that's what I was trying to do is put the stuff back in the areas have you taken anything today any drugs Al or anything like that no do you have any mental health conditions or anything no have you ever shop with it from Walmart before no I mean chances are the way she acted with you guys uh she probably acted with them too no I have she's just an no no it's not true the first time you likeed up all we heard was breathing work what well we yeah there's a bit of a scuffing we train this room is not very big I wasn't here yeah very nice here you want to watch it you probably play the video for you I my body cam I wasn't trying to fight you I was trying to talk to the guy that brought me in the room good talking and this little present was in the bag that she but I didn't pull that out to hurt anybody do you have anything in in your pockets that might get you in trouble in jail no can you stand up please you're under arrest for theft in the third degree and resisting arrest I wasn't read this thing he started yelling at me you can believe it or not turn around you don't do what the police officers ask you to do go ahead go ahead and wi your St like a little history in our system they don't have a history I have possession stolen vehicle I don't have a stolen vehicle no I don't that's the computer lying yeah yeah I was not charged with any of that with my roommate yeah what you we're going to a car where do you need what am I doing yeah you pulling me like that well if you would walk I wouldn't have to pull you anyway put my arm okay would you rather okay I'll put it down is that better for you not stop going to call your daughter right now subsequently the female suspect was brought to court where she faced several charges these included disorderly conduct for her disruptive behavior resisting
