Okay? You got several violations for the for the um sea urchins. It's called marine life. You're only allowed to have five of any one species. Okay? You're only allowed to have five total of marine life. So, that's one charge. You can't have more than 20 of all marine life that you collect. So if you have five of this, five of that, five of something else, it can't total more than 20. >> Well, like five. So you're altering five fish. >> No, just for marine life. So like >> like uh lightning welks, like shellfish. >> Oh, like a >> like you could have five >> clams. Yeah. Like, well, no, clams are different, but you could have like five um different types of of welks like like a lightning welk. Um >> even know what they are. >> Yeah. Or or horse conchk or all that sort of stuff. >> Um like mollisks, stuff like mollisks. >> Um like shellfish, that type of stuff. Anyway, you only have 20. So, you had 30 something. Okay. I think you had I think you had a little more than 31. And I think you had like 34, but it doesn't matter. So, there's two charges for the sea urchin. Okay. For the speckled sea trout, the trout, you're only allowed to have three. You had nine. Okay. They are 15 in. And your biggest one was 13. Okay. There's another charge. Then for for there's another charge for trout. If you have more than three over the bag limit, there's a charge for that. And then you got to charge for the lane snapper. They have to be 8 in. And your biggest one was like 6 in. Okay. But um signing this doesn't say that you agree with it. It's saying that you understand that on the 29th you need to show up in court at 9:00 a.m. at this address. Okay? And you're going to get a copy. And I highlighted that information for you. You know, and this Easter day, sir, >> all right, sir. >> Officer, out of curiosity, what happened to that fish? >> I take pictures of them for evidence and then they get put back into the water. >> Right there. >> I know. They get put back into the water and then the crabs eat them and the sea urchins will eat them. So, the sea urchins are still alive, but they got to go back in the water. In the end, the suspect was in possession of nine undersized spotted sea trout, 34 pin cushion sea urchins, and nine undersized lane snapper. He was charged with being in possession of undersized snapper, harvesting more than five sea urchins, harvesting or possessing more than 20 ornamental marine species, harvesting or possessing over the bag limit of spotted sea trout, possessing over three trout snook or red fish, and harvesting or possessing undersized spotted sea trout. He pled no contest to the charges and his adjudication was withheld. He was ordered to pay $536 in cost and fees, half of which was waved by the court.
