Is there anything in this bag? >> No. >> Okay. >> It's my purse. >> Yeah, I know. That's why I'm telling you to give me those bags. >> Okay, I'm going to get I'm going to get >> Thank you. >> Got stuff with security bands on it. >> Yeah, that bag's full of Victoria's Secret stuff. Full full. Um, >> so today's video is about a woman caught stealing thousands of dollars worth of items from Victoria's Secret and Foot Locker at the Boon Beach Mall on March 26, 2024. She tried to act calm, but the camera showed her hiding merchandise in her bag and walking out without paying. When police found her, she lied, argued, and blamed others. But the truth was clear. This wasn't a mistake. It was planned. Watch how one mall visit turned into chaos, lies, and a serious felony arrest. >> Are they still here or no? >> Yeah. Well, I mean, she walked out that way, but God knows what store she probably like jumped into or she probably like ran out the mall or whatever. She seen me on the phone and when she seen me on the phone, she started like kind of like speed walking a little bit faster toward that way. I tried to call the finish line to see if they had se kind of like outside them too to see, but he was like, >> what was you remember what she was wearing? >> Yeah, she had a blue uh pants like nurse scrub. So, blue nurse scrub with a white shirt. >> Did you tell dispatch that or >> I gave them all the good? >> Um, >> she had um she had a full locker bag. So, she came originally to exchange something. She was looking at these shirts here in the front. I had already seen her. So, I came up to her, "Hey, how are you?" And then she's like, "Oh, I'm just looking." And then I was like, "Okay." And she seen her looking for other shirt. And I was like, "Oh, what size do you need?" And she's like, "Oh, a medium." She's like, "But I can help myself." She's like, she's like, "I can do it by myself." And then I was like, "You're already making it so obvious for yourself." But I'm like, "Okay." So, I was like, "Oh, okay." But no, it was my job, whatever. So, I grabbed the bag from her and I'm like, "I'm going to check the size for you." And she's like, "Okay, well, I'm looking for a medium." And she walked away from me and I didn't have a medium. So, I was like, "Oh, I have a large or a small. Which one do you prefer?" She's like, and she was just ignoring me the whole time. Like, she wasn't talking like I was like, "Hello." I was like, "She's like a I'm like a large. Do you want a large? You want a large?" And she just kept ignoring me. And then she my other sales associate that's here right now, she was like super nice and hi, how are you? How's your day? How's your And I was like, "Oh." I was like, "Did I offend you? Do you feel okay?" And she's like, completely ignoring me, whatever. So, I already knew what she was doing. So, she grabbed the shirt I like she had in her hand. I turned a corner to help another customer. When I turn back around, the shirt is not in her hand and it's not in the pile. So, I know she walked that way as well. >> No, just just one one that you know. >> Yeah, just one. I know for sure. I like 40 bucks probably. >> Yeah. >> So, she's like, "No, like I have camera footages for a while of her like she she's done this multiple times a long time." I really feel like my brain is shortcircuiting listening to that Foot Locker employee explain this lady's genius master plan to loot the mall. Imagining her act like a healthc care hero while dressed in nurse scrubs just to go shoplifting was honestly peak comedy. She really thought wearing a specific dress code would make her invisible to the mall security. It is hilarious that she believed a pair of cheap scrubs acted like an invisibility cloak for her crimes. uh wearing a mask. >> Yeah, she has a like the co mask like just a mask. She has her hair like in gray. She has it in a bun. A nurse scrub. Um blue pants. >> Black female or white female? >> Black female. She's like a little heavier. She has >> 10 bag with her. Um a foot locker bag. Oh, look. That's her right there. >> That's her right there. black female yellow shirt, blue jeans, blue pants. >> She called us. >> Yeah. >> What store? >> Look, >> let's go back and figure it out. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Wait, wait a minute. >> Um, just watch her. >> Did she Did she come in here? Drop something. I'm not in the store. >> Believe it's called attraction. >> What's the name of the store? >> Attraction. >> I'm not store. >> I went right there. >> I just walked right here. >> I just walked in here. Yeah, maybe this belongs to her. >> Tori's secrets. No. Um, >> these are not ours. >> No, >> she got hit somewhere and she's >> and she you throw this stuff in >> as well. >> It's not ours. >> No shirt or anything? >> Mhm. >> What are you doing? >> I'm not I'm not >> You want to be putting in hand? >> No. No. >> Okay. So, chill. >> Yeah. I mean, there's no reason to take it to another level cuz we're going to get all this figured out, >> right? >> Is there anything in this bag? >> No. >> Okay. Give me those bags. >> It's my purse. >> Yeah, I know. That's why I'm telling you to give me those bags. >> Okay, I'm going to get >> Thank you. >> The officers track her down and find a discarded Victoria's secret bag full of loot. She tried to act like she was just walking around, but the evidence was piling up in the common area. I was amused by her no reason to take it to another level attitude. Seriously, ma'am, are you out of your mind? You were caught red-handed and now you want to lecture the police on how to chill. >> No. Does she have that bag? >> Hey, uh, >> detainer. Detainer right now. >> Appreciate it. Give me all this here. >> Give me all that. Put your hands on nothing. >> Do you have Yeah. Do you have her? U do you have video in here? >> No. >> You don't have any video? But that's not You're >> It's not ours. >> You didn't see her do that. But But she came when she walked in. She came to this area. >> Yeah. I'm walking there and became my shed. She came here. >> I got the sound because I thought that something fell down and I came here. >> Do you want >> Yeah, just gather that. >> Collect that and then bring it back. Yeah, we we'll have to go uh see if there's anything um from Foot Locker in there. Um, and then we'll we'll have to go to uh um Victoria Secrets and >> Jesus. >> Hey, did you find the shirt? >> No. Okay. I I didn't go through her bags. >> It might be tucked in between here somewhere. She was standing over there and she came over here. It was quick. came. I thought that something dropped it from Lego, but I think she's already there. >> Uhhuh. >> All right. >> What do we have? >> Uh, she's got stuff with security bands on it. >> Yeah, that bag is full of Victoria's Secret stuff. I mean, full full. I am honestly laughing at the fact that she dumped a bag full of Victoria's secret items right in front of the officers. It was like she thought if the bag wasn't touching her hand, the crime didn't count. The store employees were just as shocked as cops watching her scramble to hide evidence in a completely different store. >> Um, she dumped it in in here. I didn't see anything for Foot Locker here. Uh, so she might still have it on >> 1765. My bad. >> West gateway the diner. >> You got any identification on you? >> No. >> It's probably my mother's phone. >> Your phone's in here. >> I'm call Can I call my sister and tell them that they they left me? They seen you. Yeah. When they seen me, they left. >> They was down by Macy's. Mhm. Yeah, I I I'll get that. Do you think your your ID is in your wallet in there? >> Yeah. >> Where you from? >> Florence headliner tag Charlie Xc. >> Copy. liner. >> Where do you think it is? >> It's right over there. >> Alpha 951. >> Right there. >> Yeah. kind of like >> we'll get a female officer over here and take care of you. We have female napkins at the station. Um I think you got any warrants? >> No, I don't got any words. on >> three. >> Last time you were arrested. >> Recently. >> Recently. Yeah. About a month ago. >> Have you dealt with that one yet? >> Nope. >> The officer started digging through her personal belongings and found zero identification, but she claimed it was on her mother's phone. Watching her act like a helpless toddler who needs mommy to hold her documents was honestly embarrassing. She was already out on bond for something else, which makes this choice even more brainless. >> Um, we'll get all your family stuff arranged, you know, and make sure you contact um, you know, especially your grandma or grandma and let let >> let her know what's going on. Um, cuz tolling all this, it's going to be probably a retail felony, right? So, um, but we're not going to leave your family home, >> right? >> I just want her to know an ample enough of time, you know. So, you just grab my cell phone. I could just tell her real quick. >> Yeah. It's >> 15. >> Yeah. Yeah. She called me or whatever. I know you're not feeling good or whatever. Um I I caught a ride with Dra to the I called my bride with Dedra them to the mall or whatever at the at beach at the boy beach mall. The police talking to you on the speaker phone or whatever. So I just wanted to keep my or whatever for me cuz the girl in Foot Locker had called you on speaker phone. The girl in Foot Locker had called. But I know DJ them gone. You know they when they see the police they ran. So um they left me stuck out here. So, um you won't speak a phone and um just um get my baby. >> You know the girl I be with >> pull us down. >> Yeah, thank you. You know the girl that I be with or whatever. So, um if you get a chance or whatever, just go by and check on my baby. I was at the um Boy Beach Mall. So, that's where they're going to take me from. I was at Fort Loft. Mama, you done told me. You done told me. Um, you on speaker phone. Yeah, you on speaker phone. If I would have just went and did what I needed to do today. >> I am feeling a bit of secondhand embarrassment listening to her call her mom on speakerphone. She was ranting about her baby and how her friends took the keys and the car. It was a very loud, very public confession that everyone in the mall could hear. I think stealing while on probation needs to be an instant prison sentence with no ifs or buts because clearly she didn't learn her lesson the first time. The audacity was truly off the charts. >> Or this week >> and you know I was trying to do it. You know I was I just love mom. I I know you I know I know you know >> you know >> inside resour you be out you'll see a judge in the morning >> but I'm already out on >> Yeah >> that might be wrong >> yeah no he just was telling me >> no he can't come behind I was um over at um >> All right. As long as your baby's okay. >> Yeah. I'm just going to take care of it. >> Yeah. I'm just letting you know what was going on. So DJ, >> you'll be able to talk to her again. >> Okay. DJ had just left me. So I just want you to know they got the um they they got all the keys, the car, and everything. So they gone. You already know how that [ __ ] go, Mom. So that's not Yeah. You going to have to get it from um I can't get in my phone. So, you're going to have to you going to have to call um you going to have to call uh see if uh call Damn. I would have to tell you call Big Head Mike and see if he get um give you the number to uh delete or whatever, but he said that I'll be able to make another phone call once I get down to the station. >> Yeah. As long as it's concerning your baby, getting getting it back to your mom. All right. >> Call again. >> Okay. >> She'll call you again. >> I'll be done. You [ __ ] about to record it. >> Wow. >> While she was crying on the phone, the officers were busy realizing the sheer scale of what she took. The total value was climbing fast. In my opinion, she seemed more upset about her friends leaving her than the fact that she was headed back to jail. She kept repeating that she was trying to do what she needed to do as if shoplifting was a mandatory chore. >> We were just about to report. >> She's right there. >> We were just about to report. >> Did you see her? >> Yep. She's got a >> Could you just come out and take a look at her? See if the person that we're with >> Hey Doug, can you step aside? >> Doug, can you step aside? bag. >> Yeah, >> bag. Yep. >> Thank you. I was just going to record. We were just checking the doors where she was. I went back there. >> She made some wild ran out of store looking for her sister. >> Do you have >> Oh my god. >> Well, this is good. This is good. Good. >> Um, you have a place where you can just go through this, itemize it, and then >> Yeah, we're going to make a whole report and every single every single skew will be recorded. >> Very good. down to the very dollar. >> And you do want to prosecute, I'm assuming. >> Um, yeah, let me get my store manager. >> Okay, cool. >> For sure. Give me just a moment. >> Yep. >> Hi. >> Hello. >> Wow. >> It's I mean I I don't know. There's a lot of items in here. But >> Okay. >> As far as valuation, you could just uh give us an itemized list. >> Yes, we will. >> Oh my god. We were just looking through the drawers to see what >> Oh my god. >> Yeah, we noticed that she took back to look in the drawer. We saw that she was missing, but we didn't know that she took a beauty as well. >> She had a shopping bag also. >> We're going to email our AP person, but we for sure need a case number. >> Okay. Can you give me evaluation or at least uh an approximation of the value? Okay. >> Yeah, we were just about the stock was like >> So, did somebody else call? >> Yeah, it was actually Foot Locker. She was stealing from there and there's probably others. >> Yeah. >> Why not? Right. >> Okay. >> Not anymore. >> What's your first name or do you have your identification? >> I don't. It's It's in the back. >> This was not someone grabbing one thing and leaving. This looked planned. And let's be honest, she did not steal all of that for herself. Stuff like this usually gets sold for drugs or cash. Watching the Victoria's Secret employees looking absolutely stunned was the best part of the whole mess. In my view, they should honestly put a glass jail cell right in the middle of the mall for everyone to see. It would be hilarious to watch these people get arrested after stealing. >> Double check on that. >> But um again, she probably has prior convictions that 139 for today. What I was saying is she probably has prior convictions which is uh >> creates it to be a conviction of >> a felony charge. >> Got it. >> They're still uh tallying up over there. Yeah. Um the bench. >> Okay, cool. Um >> I'm going to give them the case number. >> What did What did you get? >> So, I got the receipt. >> Oh, okay. >> And then I have her info. She's I know she's in the system already. And then I have her send I'm going to send her the link so she can upload the video >> video where she's concealing it and where she puts in the bag. >> Same over there. They're tallying up that whole duffel bag. >> Yeah. >> It's over a grand so far. >> Yeah. So, um >> are you are you going to run a criminal history? >> I did. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> She's going to have >> she for probation. >> Um but there's There's >> Yeah. >> Oh, it's 1,000 over there. >> Sorry. It's supposed to be second court. >> Yeah. >> And then she'll get the enhancements for the other ones. >> Mhm. >> So, it'll be what? Three felons. >> All right. >> Okay. >> I want to win it. >> 406 court. >> Since she already had prior convictions, the legal hammer was about to drop even harder. The employees were very eager to prosecute, and honestly, I don't blame them one bit. When you work hard and someone just walks in and treats the store like an open buffet, it is beyond frustrating. She was basically fasttracking her way back to a cell. >> The grand total is drum roll. >> It was Let's see here. >> I think it's the same girl. >> You think so? cuz she had a face mask and the exact same description of a Walmart bag and she was putting stuff in Walmart bag. >> Okay. >> But Kate was here on that same day 4914. >> Mhm. >> Same thing. She said I'm pretty sure that's her. >> Okay. >> And that's the grand total >> for today. >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. Cool. Here is the case number. The arresting officer. Um we can take this, right? Mhm. >> I'm going to do the request. >> Um, let me go get with the other officer. I'll be back. >> Another Victoria Secret bag. >> Another one. >> Yeah. Okay. Um, possibly another prior incident late to the 20th. >> Um, so I'll tally this up and then go grand total. Right now we're at drum roll,85 so far. >> Okay. >> That's another bag of Victoria. >> So that's Is that the second,000 amount? >> Well, no. He's going to go do it again. That's probably another $1,000. >> Okay. >> You all right? >> Um property ID. All right. >> You already told her she's trespassing. >> So, yeah, you are trespassed for a year. We need that from today to >> They counted everything she stole and the total keeps climbing. They were already at over $1,000 and they hadn't even finished counting the second bag yet. It was confirmed that she was on probation, which made the whole situation 10 times worse for her. In my opinion, she didn't just break the law, she shattered it. The officers were being quite professional. But you could tell they were amazed by the haunting quantity of stolen goods. >> No. No way. Bethesda know they're in the ER lobby. >> What do you got over there? >> That makes sense cuz all them surfaces was empty. >> Did she have a green bag with her? She had a dark green bag. This >> is not that one. >> No, it had words on it. >> I think >> Well, that's all we got so far. Maybe in the the other place had like a darker like kind of like a lighter kind of like >> like a plastic bag or shopping bag. >> Yeah, like a plastic kind of like that. And it had words on it. Black words. >> Let me go check this place next door and I'll be back. If you could just tally that up. >> Yeah, we'll definitely >> Do you need this to like reopen this or I'll just hold on to this? >> Hold on to that and then we can just add the items together. >> Okay. She said there was another bag like a green bag. So, I'm just going to go check attraction or whatever it is. Just >> that. Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. I think he >> What store are we missing? I don't think we're missing any stores, but she went into attraction. >> Yeah, let's do let's do a sweep. >> Take care of her. She needs a case somewhere. >> 20 uh 4194 >> 4914 >> 4914 >> 49 >> 4914 >> 104. Thank you. Hi. We're just going to uh look around one more time. See if she dumped anything else. >> So, it's your first day. >> First day. You see? >> The officers continued to sweep the area, looking for even more bags she might have dumped. It turned out she had left a trail of evidence like breadcrumbs throughout the building. I thought it was funny that it was a mall employees first day and she got to witness a full felony arrest right off the bat. The woman really gave that new hire a front row seat to the ultimate clown show. >> All right. I thought he did too. >> I provided the caller with advice. You can close it out. >> Yeah, that's where we found the first bag. >> Okay. >> All right. Uh, so just we just got to get the the total from Victoria Secret. So it's just two stores right now. >> Yeah. Um, >> I'll do the case from the other day. >> Second Street, 406 Street. It'll probably be her. >> No. No. >> I thought it was 494. Yeah. How are you? >> Good. Good. >> Usually we don't catch them. >> I was surprised when I walked in. I was like, I already had a feeling cuz we recognize her. >> She ran up the second bag, done. >> Yep. >> I've already rung the first. >> Yeah, that was over a thousand. So, uh, and then I didn't realize cuz there was like a a towel over it. I didn't realize there was other stuff. All all your >> So, it's coming up at six, but Should it should be coming up as regular price, right? >> Oh, you just go with the go with the sale price. >> I'll be right back. >> Cops returned to Victoria's Secret to get the final tally, and the numbers just kept going up. It is rare that the police actually catch these shoplifterss in the act before they leave the property. I am genuinely surprised by how quickly the mall security and the local police coordinated to corner her. She really had nowhere to run once they spotted those scrubs. >> So, if you could just explain to me just as you did before about um the woman that was in here and what she was doing and how she responded to you trying to make contact with her. Um, shortly after we opened at 11:00, um, I came back to grab an iPad in the office and I noticed a customer that I had not seen come in. I dropped off the iPad and came back this direction. Her back was to me. She was in front of this panty table and she was fumbling in the drawers with her bags and I made my presence known. Excuse me, may I help you? And she dropped a few things and set a few things down and pretended to be on the phone whether she was or not. you know, I'm looking for this size. I'm looking through some other drawers. I came right up. I stood right up next to her. We're kind of taught that if you're suspicious that you're supposed to give excellent customer service and make your presence known. So, I was offering to help her with sizes and styles. And I think she knew I was on to her. She set some stuff down. I walked over to the register and kept watching. >> And then she kind of left in a hurry, said, "I'm going to get my sister." I left my bag there and she ran out the store. She ran out the store with the bags that >> Yeah. >> Okay. And that was this area here. I'm just uh >> Yeah. >> documenting this area here. >> Yeah. She was kind of bent over like this when I came up from behind. She was kind of rummaging and then she Oh, she dropped a few things and >> Right. Right. >> saw me and >> Okay. And she made no attempt to pay for the items, right? >> No, sir. She did not. And then afterwards, the woman that we had uh made contact with, was that the same woman that you had seen in the store? >> Yes, it was. >> Okay. Do you swear and affirm everything you've told me is the truth? Nothing but the truth. So help you God. >> So help me God. I swear. >> Yes, you swear. Do you want to prosecute? >> Yes. Okay. >> It's up to the store. You know what? Does the store want to prosecute? >> Okay. Can I call my DM? Cuz I I just just want to phone her. cut the conversation short because >> you cuz you just >> victory circle welfare checks. Did you make contact? >> Uh we got our merchandise back, but we still want to prosecute. >> Yes. Okay. Yeah. All right. >> Okay. There you go. Thank you. >> In the end, this wasn't just a simple case of shoplifting. It was a total disaster from start to finish. The suspect thought she could hide behind a mask and a nurse's outfit, but her behavior made her stand out like a sore thumb. I think the mall staff did an amazing job keeping eyes on her until the police arrived. It just goes to show that if you decide to steal while on probation, the only thing you're really shopping for is a long-term prison stay. The suspect was charged with felony retail theft with prior convictions and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. With her history and the total value exceeding $1,000, she could face up to 10 years in prison and heavy fines. It really takes a special kind of talent to throw your life away for some Victoria's Secret merchandise while you're already being watched by the courts.
