She was a straight A student in high school and she's still very smart, but she has a um what damage got damaged in her brain and she makes these hasty decisions without thinking, you know. >> Yeah. >> Like I told her 100 times, I said, "I I will pay for it." Cuz her phone died and she had a date or something and and she um I said, "Janice, just get the cheapest one. I will pay for it. Well, she needed a charger and she was running late for like whoever she was going to meet and um I I needed my prescription and so I went to the to the pharmacist and then um she was walking around and I heard her yelling and so I didn't even I'll deal with my prescription tomorrow. I still thought to myself because he was busy on the phone. So I said, "Jennis, where are you?" And then uh she says, "Mom, will you buy me this?" And I said, "Well, I need a pair of pants cuz I'm cold, you know." I said, and then they didn't have a pair of pants, so I asked the clerk, "Do you do you guys carry pants?" She said, "No." So, I said, "Okay, Janice, I'm not going to buy the pair of pants." So, yes, I can. I I'll buy I'll buy your charger, but get the cheapest one, you know. And then she she goes, "Yeah, mom. I'll go get the cheapest one." And then she saw a purple box and and she pulled it off the thing. And then the clerk told her, "Um, I no, don't pull it off. you know, I I have to take it off with a key, pull it out. But by then, she had already pulled it off and and she got upset, you know, with the [ __ ] personality. No, there's no control over that. And I said, Janice, please don't start. Don't. And then she grabbed another one, you know, and and then the lady the lady said, "Well, she's throwing them off the thing." And see, I don't remember if I grabbed the one because I put it in my jacket because I was I was collecting stuff from her to give it to the lady cuz I told the lady, "Please, ma'am, my daughter's mentally challenged. I I've dealt with her a lot and this is not her, but I promise you, I'll go get all your stuff back for you." And then um so I was all excited and I came to the car and I said, "Give this lady her stuff back." She was at the door and and I said, "All of" and she gave it like most of some of it back. And then the lady said, "All of it. All of it." And I said, "Give it all to her." And and she goes, "No, you're you're training. You're a trainer. You're turn you're throwing me under the bus." I said, "That's not what I'm doing, Dennis. I don't want you to go to jail. This is not worth it." I said, "Please just give her the stuff back." And she said, "Well, nephew." She jumped out of the car and and took off that way. I was only trying to help her, you know, >> about how uh long after or about how long was it between her jumping out and us getting here? >> Uh I would say about maybe 5 minutes, I guess. >> 5 minutes. That's the one I can't deal with, but I have to." And then the 5-year-old little girl, I deal with it because, you know, she's just like a little kid. It's crazy. And then there's one that she thinks she's an attorney and then she's happy golucky in one of them and the other one she's like um depressed. weird. It's all I never I never I still can't accept that she's in that, you know, that with those personalities. I I never thought that I always used to think that it was fake that they were faking it without when they say they have a whole bunch of personalities, but I dealt with them. I know every single one of them like like I I've been dealing with it for six years, so I know how to handle it, you know? >> Yeah. This time it just got out of hand. I think what happened was she counteracted whenever the lady said, "You pull it off the thing." And and being, you know, that personality, she does not like for anybody to tell her what to do.
