On May 31st, 2025, an apartment in full squatter mode turned into a police standoff. Officers arrived to find uninvited guests spinning excuses, hiding in corners, and refusing to leave while the actual tenant sat in jail. What began as a we have permission story ended with cuffs, warrants, and plenty of drama. Watch the video to know what actually happened when freeloading met the front door. >> I'm down here. >> Where you at? >> I found a freaking heat blast in there. Jesus. >> It's right there. I can hear a female inside. I haven't knocked yet. I was waiting to see if she came out. Please open up. I know you're in there. Open up. >> While you're in there, go get the key to open this door. >> Open the door. >> Whose apartment is it? >> Frank, >> who's in jail? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> And staff said they got nothing from him. >> Headquarters. Anybody is allowed there? Why didn't you stop there? >> No, they're in. I heard them in there. >> Apartment 108. >> Police open up. I know you're in there. >> Let me see if you have any contacts for the staff. >> You're quick. >> Will you see if somebody in the jail will get a hold of Mr. and see if anybody's supposed to be in his apartment >> and verify it's 108. >> I told my supervisor at the house at the halfway house at the halfway house. >> That's what they're saying. >> They call him red. >> Break the door. I can't tell when I break the door. >> I don't want to break that. It's a new door. >> Might be a new door. But look, let me you see the cracks in the walls. >> No, I came out to watch the window and I had 114 come over here and then uh if need be, I'll just grab my breaching tools and come in there and open that door. >> Is that window open? >> Is it the It's going to be the first set of residential window. It might be. I'll check it. >> Why are you not open the door? >> I just woke me up, man. I'm sorry. >> 9 to I'm in contact now. Door's open. What's your name? >> Armstrong. Why >> are you supposed to be in his apartment? >> Yes, sir. I'm Frank. I was here when Frank went to jail. >> Yeah, Frank's in jail. Where's Shannon? [Music] I don't know. I'm not supposed to let nobody in. >> Oh, Shann's here. >> The apartment looked less like a home and more like a stage set for breaking lease. Officers knocked, paused, waited for that predictable silence. SWAT's favorite background music when the door cracked open. Out came Armstrong, who strutdded like he owned the deed, except small detail. Frank, the actual tenant, was in jail and had already revoked everyone's Squatter Club membership. >> Trespassing. >> I mean, >> you got proof you're supposed to be here cuz right now It's a It's a burglary cuz nobody's supposed to be here except Frank. Frank's in jail. >> Been here. I have been here since >> What stuff in here is yours? >> That's mine. >> So, you live here with Frank? >> No, no, no. Say while he's in jail. >> Yes, sir. Just Monday morning, probably. >> Come out. >> What's up, buddy? >> What's going on? traffic. >> Come out of there. >> You got ID. >> What's your name? >> My name's Chris. I got my ID. >> Where's Shannon at? >> Shane. I'm Brian. >> Brian. I got my >> ID. Oh, my name. Nice to meet you. >> Nobody's supposed to be here. We just checked with Frankie. >> What's your name again? >> Armstrong. He told me >> Jeremy Armstrong. >> Yeah, he told me. >> All right. >> I mean, I was here when he went to jail. >> Turn around. I'm cuffing you up. >> Why? >> You're just being detained so I can figure it out. >> What is it? >> You're being detained. >> So, you got to ask Frank. Yeah, cuz they just said they said a >> Hey, we can ask we can have the dispatcher contact the jailer and they can get Frank out of himself. He says you're good, then you're good. >> I mean, if you don't want me here, that's cool. I won't be here. >> Well, that's the call we got. We're going to figure it out. Sit down right here, Jeremy. >> The cops me. >> We just got called that somebody named Shannon was coming in here. Shannon and Cantro and all kinds of people moving [ __ ] in here while Frank's in jail. What are you guys doing here? >> I'm staying here. The cops were here last night. >> I just hang out. >> And Frank will tell you that, too. >> Frank doesn't want you here. >> About that, too. >> He left the keys and [ __ ] >> All right. Just do me a favor and sit down. >> You know, you can't go to jail, dude. >> Is anybody else here? >> I don't think so. I didn't know anybody was here. >> Is Shannon in here somewhere? >> No. >> I'm not saying you're going to jail. I just put you in cuffs for the time being. >> I need a lighter. >> Well, sit down. >> I wouldn't do nothing. >> Still got to check this place. Good. You're clear. >> Yeah, right there. >> Come out here. >> Roll out. >> Then came our leading lady of hideand-seek theater. Crawling out of her secret nook like the star of an underground circus. She played it shocked, confused, and tragically misunderstood. Classic SWAT Shakespeare. Cuffs clicked, but the show wasn't over. Another cast member lingered somewhere offstage, tucked away in shadows in there. >> You're going crawl out. I want to drag you out. Out. Let's go up. >> Turn around. >> Huh? >> Turn around. >> For what? >> Put your hands on your back. You're in the pain. >> For what? >> For hiding from the police. How about that? I think he's got a warrant. >> Is Shannon in here? Cuz we originally came here for >> Shannon. I said I just woke up and nobody was supposed to be here. >> Tired. >> Okay. >> I think so. [Music] I didn't open that door. >> Yeah. Plenty of time to hide. >> Yeah. >> Locked. >> That's locked >> on the inside or outside? >> From the inside. >> Open it up. Open it up or you're going to get another charge when we break it. >> I got a tool in the truck that open. >> It's a what? >> You got a pocket knife from the inside. bags and stuff on there. >> That's what I told him. >> Check behind the couch. >> Not so good yet. >> It's not big enough to hold anybody in there. >> Frank says none of you guys are supposed to be here. >> I was right there with the other cops. Mhm. >> Well, like I said, they they just called back into the jail. When the jail asked him, he said, "Nobody." >> Okay, cool. I don't know. >> What's that for? Your playing cards? >> Like marbles or something? >> I don't know. That ain't my [ __ ] My shit's all right there in that part of it. >> There's one more we're miss. I'm not supposed to get a cold one. So, I wouldn't be surprised if she's not tucked in somewhere real good. I >> don't know if there's attic space or what. >> One more cast member crawled out from under the bed like a discount horror movie extra, wideeyed and dusty. But the encore belonged to Shannon. Police found her lounging in the bathtub like it was a five-star spa, delivering her trademark look of shock. Sadly, with warrants stacked higher than unpaid Netflix bills, she too earned her shiny set of cuffs. Step out here. >> Yeah, she's going down in the shower. >> Go. >> Cover her. She's got a warrant. Cover her up. >> I don't have a warrant. >> Yeah, you do. >> For what? >> And your hand and your trespass from here. >> I don't have a warrant. >> And your trespass from here? Yes, you do. >> I don't have your name, right? Shannon, >> I don't have a theft warrant. I didn't steal anything. >> No, you do. >> What? >> You're under arrest. You have a warrant for your >> I never stole anything. What do I have a warrant? You have a warrant to go to jail. That's what it's for. >> And you get charged of trespassing. Obstructing. >> Trespassing. >> You're barred from here. So you're trespassing and we yell for you multiple times. Come out. So And you didn't. That's obstructing. >> You have a warrant for theft. >> You do. It's It's I don't know. I didn't file it. You You have a warrant for theft. You're trespassed from here. So you're getting charged with trespassing. And you're also going to get charged with obstruction from hiding from the police. >> I never stole anything. >> Mr. rude. >> Oh my god. I got >> Yeah. As soon as I get out of there, you can go take pills. >> Oh my god. >> Then you got to get your stuff and you got to go. >> That's fine. I'm >> coming down my bra right there. >> Bailey. Seriously, it's my boob. >> All right. If you go to jail and there's something in there that you can >> I get some shoes on your slides or something. No, just take her. >> Add obstruction and trespassing. >> Go for it. Oh my god. >> Did you hear me? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Let me find out what that theft is cuz I don't have a I know that. >> Let's figure it out. >> Cuz I don't see it. I got one theft in my life and I'm >> You copy the charges. >> Where am I going? >> That's it. Unlock it. We're good. How much stuff you guys got? >> You got to gather stuff. You got to go book bag and wire. I was trying to find wires for a laptop. >> Yeah. Come on. >> Is this saying I have a warrant for theft? >> Yeah. >> Where? I never stole anything. >> Says it's a benchmark. No bond for theft through municipal court. It's a 24 case. >> I already took care of that. That's what I was in um rehab and jail for. >> 527 of 25. So earlier this week. >> Well, we were I didn't know what was going on. >> We were there for that girl. Well, two reasons. He's in jail. Nobody's supposed to be in his apartment. >> Yeah. So, I didn't know. I don't even know whose apartment it is. Like I don't know. >> The guy that lives there is in jail. >> Like I said, I was he might talking to him and then they um >> before we even went in there, we checked and they said that he said that nobody's supposed to be in his apartment. >> Oh, >> you know. >> So, I didn't get anything else in my apartment or >> obstructing. Yeah. >> Huh. >> Obstruction. You can't hide from the police, man. >> Well, huh. I didn't even know like what was going on. I didn't know. They just said, you know, >> you knew the police was there. That's why you was hiding. >> Huh? >> He was hiding from the police. I know he was. >> Well, yeah. Well, I heard you guys said police. Yeah. And you hiding cuz you had a warrant. That's obstructing. >> All right, hop in there. >> Well, I got th charges. I mean, you wonderful. >> Yeah, so you'll probably just get worked into that. You're right. >> By the end, reality caught up with the squatters like bad credit. Armstrong's excuse reel spun out. Shannon's dramatic protest sank fast, and the apartment finally exhaled its unwelcomed guests. What was left was proof that hiding behind couches doesn't erase warrants, and that borrowed roofs don't come with free rights. He was slapped with obstruction. Shannon was charged with obstruction, trespassing, and had outstanding warrants. So, in the end, if you enjoyed the video, hit that like button and drop your thoughts in the comments.
