Get off my bag. >> Relax. Let go of the bag. I'm going to search it. >> Stop touching me and get the off my bag. >> If you don't relax. >> Hey. Hey. Hey. >> You're going to end up getting an additional charge if you don't stop it. Stop right now. >> On August 24th, 2024. What started as a basic store drama blew up fast. Cops rolled in after a woman got loud with staff over trying on clothes out in the open. When told to bounce, she straight up refused. Things got messier when they thought she might be swiping stuff. Next thing you know, she's fighting the cops, turning the scene into a full-on takedown. Keep watching. It only gets wilder. Excuse me, guys. >> Excuse me, >> ma'am. Sorry. >> What's going on? >> Several times. Okay. Okay. Has she stolen anything? >> No, they just they asked her to leave. This is This is one of the managers. You >> the manager? >> Yeah, I'm one of them. Yes. I don't know. Um she came try on the fitting room, but our rooms are closed. It's due to short staff at the moment. >> Um she tried started trying on the sales floor. Um but we did tell her unfortunately we cannot try on the sales floor. Um but then she got an attitude after that said that she and then we stay to her that we're sorry that allow >> if you don't mind just >> then she started getting attitude conversational. Um so then we at that point like listen if you can't kind of just a little bit continue shopping that's fine. Then she attitude started yelling you can talk and dick and other languages. >> Uhhuh. And then we told her, "Okay, at that point then you can just go and you said no, she's not leaving them all here and we can go to security, but security her and they're not going to do anything." And then she said, "I can call the police, too. They know me. They're not going to do anything either." >> Okay. >> So, >> all right. We'll talk to her. >> Excuse me, ma'am. >> Hey, do you have some ID on you by chance? Yes. >> Mind if I see it? Yeah. That's all right. You don't have to dig around. You just tell me your name. >> Jasmine. >> How do you spell Jasmine? >> The police on me because I was trying on >> We'll sort that all out in a second. Let's just Let me get your full name. >> How do you spell Jasmine? >> J A S M I N. >> Okay. So, now what's going on? >> Okay. So, usually this place ever since hit the finish. Mhm. >> So I came up in here and I had that was not there at all. Like this right here wasn't at all. So I asked the dude I was like, "Is the fitting rooms open today?" He said, "Yeah." And so then I went to go close to the fitting room and he was like, "Oh, we ain't got nobody here to work for the fitting room." >> So usually when the fitting room's been closed, I always try on the outfits in the mirrors. Okay. >> And that's what I was doing. And she told me, "You can't do that." that and I was like, "Well, for the past 2 months that y'all fitting rooms been closed, that's all I do is try on my outfits before uh what's called cuz if you ain't got your receipt or nothing like that, they're never going to exchange your outfit." And I was trying to let him know that, but then he's like, "Nah, we don't do that no more." Blah blah blah. And I stopped doing I stopped putting on clothes and I just started doing this >> just to see if they looked >> 147. >> She acted like the store owed her a personal runway. Fitting rooms were closed, so she turned the sales floor into her private fashion show. Attitude included. When told no, she gave Oscar worthy sass and refused to leave like she paid rent there. Madame thought she was VIP, but forgot this was retail, not reality TV. Good. Okay. >> All the way. >> And I've worked in I told them I've worked in the mall for 3 years, so I don't understand why they haven't seen me. >> Okay. Well, I'm sure Danny would have seen you. Um, do you do you mind keeping your hands out of your pockets while we're together? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, the big problem is they want you to leave. They've asked you to leave. This is a private business. They can ask anybody to leave that they want to leave. >> I can't come back. Uh well, they do want to trespass you I believe, but um the most important thing is if a business owner asks you to leave, you're supposed to leave the premises. You can actually be arrested. >> He actually told me that he wasn't the owner and that he was just a manager. >> Well, the manager said she had she had asked you to leave as well. >> Okay. >> So, do you mind if we try to find your ID, though? I would like They said we've got no record of you. Do you have a Florida license? >> I don't have a record. >> Uh no record of you at all. As in you don't have a license, ID card, nothing. >> No, I have an ID. I just >> Yeah, but Oh, I got it right here. >> All right. Well, there you go. That'll help. >> 177. >> So, just so you're aware, >> I'm chest. >> Huh? >> Uh, well, we'll worry about that in a second, but just so you're aware, it's actually a crime to have two valid identification cards. Mm- I didn't know that because listen um what's my fault? I had lost mine >> and I I understand that >> my dad told me to go get another one and then I eventually found this one. >> I understand that you have to get rid of that other one. You can actually go to jail. I can take you to jail right now. >> I did not know. >> Okay. And a lot of people don't, but you can't have two valid IDs. Okay. So, make that one go away. >> Okay. >> Okay. Where were you born? Pensacola. >> Pensacola, Florida. Or Mobile, Alabama. I was >> Where do you work in the mall? >> Um at Shoe Magic, the shoe cleaning station, but it was shut down a year ago. But everybody in here knows me >> and I was actually going to um find a job in Jimmy J. >> So you don't work you don't work in the mall right now. >> No, not right now. But everybody literally knows me. >> Serge, can you can you get the manager? She wants trespasser. >> But um everybody in the uh mall, they know me. They asked me to come. Like Jimmy Jazz just told me to come over there and the jewelry station said they were hiring. But I've been working in the mall for the past three years. >> Sure, I get that. Cell phone kiosk and then cleaner spot, but then we closed down because >> gonna be a black male, black shirt, brown pants, red hat, black and white Jordans, and he's on the food aisle right now. They're looking at us. >> So the bottom line is though, if a business asks you to leave, you have to leave. It's a private business. They can do that. Someone can do it at their house, too. >> If someone's if you're at someone's house and they say, "Hey, Jasmine, we want you to leave." And you say, "No." >> They stayed. They didn't want me to leave. They said they wanted me to stop trying on it. >> Okay. >> She claimed everybody in here knows her like this was her auntie's house and not a store with rules. Got two IDs, no job, and a whole lot of confidence, but still couldn't understand why she was getting trespassed, acting like she ran the place when in reality she was one wrong step from running straight to jail. >> It may have been a miscommunication. What she told me was that they asked you to leave and you got nasty and were swearing and just making a fuss. >> You said you just said you said suck my and I was like well I don't we don't need to repeat that anymore. >> Why would I say that to you, sir? >> Demi Moore said it and GI Jane worked for her. >> Huh? >> Sorry. A little bit before your time. >> No, I know who GI Jane is. She definitely >> Smith and Joe. >> Yeah, I've heard about that. was referring to something a movie that came out in the '8s. >> That's going to be a deep >> because uh GI she >> I don't know if that's true but >> um are you a manager? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Just tell her she's not welcome back and we're good. >> You are trespassed. You're not welcome. >> Okay. >> And how long are you >> Jasmine? Hold on. Listen for a second. Have you ever been trespassed anywhere before? >> No. >> Okay. So the way this works is if you come back for any reason within the next year, that's as long as it can be valid for >> in just a year. >> This next year, listen carefully. If you come back for any reason, you can go to jail. Okay? So just you can go anywhere else in the mall. That depends on the judge. You'll go to jail. You get booked and you'll have a trial and the judge will determine if you what your sentence is. But you need to leave right now. Otherwise, I'll take you to jail today. >> I mean, I'm going to leave right now, but I'm going to come back in here regardless because >> if you do, they're going to tell us >> take me to jail. Yeah. But I'm not gonna be in jail for long and then they're just gonna let me come. >> So Jasmine, I need you to leave right now or you gonna go to jail today? >> All right. >> You got your ID card by chance? >> Yeah. No, I'm not going to go. >> That'd be easier. [Music] >> Oh my god. So with trespassing >> 2141 >> trespassing seems relatively straightforward. >> Uh but the state of Florida pref prefers in cases like this that we issue what's called a trespass warning. It's basically a civil not shocking >> I'm out of business. That is county office community services 2257 Balen Street. 2257 North Balen Street coming from the front desk. It is a >> Was that their Was that their uh >> Do you want to follow up on that? >> A bunch of stuff out. Did you see anything? >> I didn't see anything in there. That look like merchandise. >> Well, she's trespassing, so she could do anything. >> She beat whenever she walked out. >> Just let it go. >> I kind of figured something about that. >> She got banned and still talked about making a comeback like she's headlining Coachella. Then comes the plot twist. Security tags start beeping as she walks out like the store itself was snitching. She thought she was slick, but the only thing smooth was that tag still stuck to whatever she definitely didn't pay for. Do >> you want to follow up on it or no? >> Um, I mean, I don't know if we could check her bag, then. Yeah. >> Well, we have we have reasonable suspicion at this point. >> Hey, Jasmine. Sorry. So, when your bag went when you went through the security checkpoint, your bag went off. Okay. I'm going to need to check your bag to make sure you didn't steal any merchandise. This is the shirt that dress. These are my pants. My sweatpants. >> Okay, hold on. I need you to put this down for me. I don't want you reaching in there anymore. Stop right now. >> Get off my bag. >> Let go. Let go, Jasmine. >> Get off my bag, bro. >> Jasmine, you need to let go. >> Get off my bag. >> Relax. >> Get off my bag. >> Relax. Let go of the bag. I'm going to search it. >> Stop touching me and get the off my bag. If you don't relax. >> Hey. Hey. You're going to end up getting an additional charge if you don't stop it. Stop right now. >> Stop. >> Don't you dare. >> Don't you bite him. 147. >> Not right now. In a minute. In a minute. >> I'm going to jail. >> Stop. Call him. >> Call my dad so he can I'm going to jail. >> You're going to stand up and I'm going to have this officer search you. Do you have anything on you going to get you in trouble or get her hurt? Stop. Stop fussing with the cuffs. >> Stop fussing with the cuffs. That's not going to make him go away. >> Kangaroos that >> Why is you in my vagina when you're ready? >> I'm going to stand her up. >> I got that pocket. >> Stand up for me. >> Stand up. >> I'm trying to down. >> Well, then sit up. >> Stand up. >> But those are my polo pants that I bought. Okay, we're going to sort that all out. >> You need another 177. >> All right, I'll hold on. You want to search or you want to hold on while I search the bag? >> Yeah. >> You got her? >> Yeah, she's good. >> 177. She need a pocket. I don't know if that's theirs. >> Okay. >> There you have to get out with me. >> Do me a favor. Go grab that manager. Bring him over here. >> Go ahead. 28. Those are polo pants from >> Florida tag Charlie Xray Lima 63. >> You were planning on what? >> Going somewhere tomorrow so I can put those on. >> 1034 comes back to his older Chevy to Darlene Jones. See how it expires. >> Pulling her aside and checking her bag was the moment everything flipped. That's when things got real. She went off making a whole scene. And that meltdown was the final push for the arrest. But even with cuffs on, she wasn't letting up. Still wild and still yelling like she had no plans of chilling anytime soon. >> Yeah, you can't really come to me. You're having problems with it. >> Are either of these yours? >> Yeah, this is ours. >> Okay. >> I'm not crashing. >> No. No, ma'am. No, ma'am. No, ma'am. >> Make them a little tighter on her. She's got little wrist. She's trying to take them off. >> Stop. Stop. >> What the? You need to stop. >> Stop resisting arrest or I'm going to charge you. >> All right. That's battery. >> Stop. >> You are under arrest for shoplifting. >> Okay. >> We will worry about that later. Stop resisting. >> Stop trying to scratch me. Stop trying to scratch me. >> Stop. >> Then stop. >> Stop you doing all that. Stop. >> Stop. You have to calm down. I'm going to tighten the cuffs >> to keep you from escaping. >> Then calm down. >> Yeah. >> She scratching. >> What about that other shark in there asking you? >> You just got yourself a felony charge. Uh, Jasmine got a little neck on. >> Let's go take her to your car. >> Okay. >> And we'll come back and deal with this. >> All right. >> Come on, Jasmine. >> Stand up for me. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. >> Where's my bag at? Right. >> Can you get that to that lady right there? >> Nope. >> Stand here for me. Okay. >> Go. >> My bag. >> It will come with He's going to stand here. >> Okay. All right. >> He's going to stand here with your bag. Your bag's going to come with a cloth. No, >> you are not getting away. Stop it. >> Stop. >> Stop. >> Stop resisting. >> Stop. Jasmine, >> you are going to jail today. It is happening. >> Stop resisting. >> Stop. Walk. You broke my train, bro. [ __ ] You would walk. This wouldn't happen. Get out of here. Walk. >> Stand up. >> Come on, Jasmine. >> Stand up. Act like an adult. >> Hold on. >> Another officer will drag her. >> You're not getting the cuffs off. >> Stop it. >> Can you send us one more unit, please? Stop. >> How about I give y'all all the money that y'all need for them outfits? That was only 20 bucks. >> Time for that has passed. >> Being around. >> She was just earning charges minute after minute. Acting like stacking felonies earned her reward points. Then she refused to walk like gravity was a personal attack. sat down mid aisle as if that was going to get her out of cuffs and screaming that the pants were only $20. Theft is theft, no matter how small. >> You want to get up and walk 10:42 and >> stop. What are you doing? You like >> Stop kicking me. >> I'm not kicking out. You can't get out. Stop. >> This is not a game, Jasmine. Roll it over on her stomach. You >> going to kill me like how y'all did, George. >> No one's going to do anything. >> No one's going to hurt you. >> Cooperate. >> Everything that's happening to you is is on you. >> Stop. >> There's gun in my hair. Can you take it out? >> No, I'm not worried about that right now. 130. I was unable to call. >> So, when do I get out? Today. >> Well, you're going to have a very high bond, so it'll depend on how much money you have, >> which was only $40 stolen. >> You battered a law enforcement officer and you resisted arrest. >> I didn't battery. >> Okay. Talk to your lawyer about that. >> I don't have a lawyer. Call my dad though to let him know that he's been >> I'll call him when you're at the jail. >> No, call him now cuz he's the one that dropped me off. >> No. >> You want us to call him? >> Yes. Can you call him? I will call him if you get up and walk. >> Listen to me. You get up and walk. I will call him. >> Okay. >> You going to get up and walk? >> His number is worry about that when we get to the car. >> Until we in the car. Once we're in the car, I will call him. >> Stand up for us. Put your hands behind your back where they belong. >> I will get your back. You want me to call your dad or not? >> If you give us a problem, I'm not calling your dad. >> Call my dad. >> I will as soon as you get in the car. >> We will call you. Call him as soon as you get to the car. 700. >> Y'all pulling me the wrong way. You're >> the person. >> Got to go that way. >> Your hands under your legs. Now stand up. >> I'm going to roll you over. It's easier if you do it from your side. Stand up. >> There you go. >> All right. Don't walk. >> Come on. >> She keeps trying to get out of the cuffs. >> You going to walk this way? >> Y'all got my everything. >> That's on you, Jasmine. Hang. Oh, that hurts. Stop. >> You're making it too. >> Walk. >> Turn her this way and drag her. >> Stop trying to twist it. >> Oh, you could. >> That's from you. >> That's from you. >> Hey, stop. >> She's going to fall, though. We're going to have to grab her feet probably. >> I'm telling you, it's much easier. >> All right, that's fine. >> It's much easier. >> My dad is in the mall. You can go see here right now. >> Go this way. Turn her back towards us, guys. >> Now, there you go. >> No, no. Turn the sirens. Turn this. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Come on. All right. That'll work. >> Okay. >> Yep. >> Yeah. >> Come on. >> Her attitude was crashing fast, and all it was doing was making things worse for her. The more time passed, the more charges stacked up. She kept asking to call her dad like he was going to show up, snap his fingers, and make everything disappear. >> Hold on. I want to cover her one more time. She keeps slipping these cuffs. >> Stand up so your pants up. >> Make sure the keyways are on the bottom. Am I bleeding? >> No, >> I am. >> Cuz you keep cuffing them around you too tight. >> So I think about my dad. >> We're not going to talk about that right now. Just get in the car. Is that from her nails? >> Yeah. >> Nasty nails. >> No, it's from there. Trespassing model too as well. >> Okay, gentlemen. Sorry about that. >> Tell me where. I legitimately wanted to help you, but I'm like, I don't want to get anybody in trouble. >> No, no, we had two officers and she wasn't really It was more about keeping her safe than her hurting us. >> Although, she did scratch me. >> Alex, you're good to go. >> Okay, do me a favor. Uh oh, he's here. Never mind. >> Do me a favor and do nothing. >> All right, I got your ID. >> So, this isn't yours? >> No. November. You want to check and see if they're a victim as well? >> They probably are, man. Might >> as well rack it up. >> Which one? >> What's your name? >> I only >> Oh, that's ours, too. >> Yeah, that's the one she said she hadn't had to exchange, but didn't have the receipt. >> Okay. >> But she probably stole that, too. The first time. >> How about this one? >> Um, no. It looks like the copper closet. >> All right. >> That's secret. >> You got a phone? Uh, I have to look through here. You saw it in there. >> Do you know your dad's number off top of your head? >> She said he's downtown patties. He's not shocking. >> He'll definitely come here. >> He's not going to come here. He's going to go to the jail. >> Yeah, he's going to go to the jail. >> Okay. >> Do you know how much? >> Uh, it's going to be over $10,000. >> I don't know. Worry about that here in a little bit. How many um batteries? >> You got two battery LEO, you got one assault LEO, >> you got retail theft, and you got possessing a a false ID >> or two valid IDs. What's his phone number? >> Dad knows about >> Okay, listen. Listen. I'm not going to discuss this with you. >> She was slipping cuffs like it was a party trick while the poor officer was bleeding from her crusty nails. Meanwhile, her charges were stacking like it's a shopping list. Cops knew it. The store knew it. And deep down, maybe she did, too. There was no walking away clean from this one. >> Sure, I will be nice to you, even though you weren't to me. >> Well, somebody has to come get me. I'm a minor. >> You're 19. You're not a minor. >> You're an adult. You're going to big girl jail. >> Yes, I'm going to jail. >> You don't go to jail or prison until you're You have that many problems. >> Okay. Do you think so? >> What's his name? >> Mr. Victor 130. >> Hello. Is this Victor? >> Victor. This is Officer Lindl Pensacola Police Department. I have your daughter Jasmine uh under arrest at the mall. She was caught shoplifting and then she resisted arrest and she battered two police officers. >> Oh my goodness. >> So, uh I wanted to let you know so you didn't worry. Um, she would like to speak to you briefly. I'm going to let her talk to you for a second, but I I got to get this process rolling forward. Okay. >> Yes, sir. I help. Thank you, sir. >> Okay. >> Hello, >> Dad. What you doing? >> Listen, so I went into I had I went into H&M and I asked them if I could exchange these clothes. >> They told me no. And me being stupid, I decided to exchange the clothes anyways. And I got a top. I exchanged my top and I exchanged another top cuz it was too small for me and I did put a pair of white pants in my bag. So, what's it called? They were telling me saying that I can't try clothes on in the in the law because they made that a new policy, but I can tell I've been up here every single day and I've always tried on their outfits and I guess it's a new manager. I was like, "Well, no, we don't do that no more." And so he was like, "Well, I'm going to call the police." And I said, "You can go ahead and do that because there's nothing really on me." >> Anyways, I don't Do you know how much my bond might be? >> It's her bond is going to be over $10,000. She's got two felonies on her. Uh class one misdemeanor. Two class one misdemeanor. Actually, three. >> So, it's going to be over. >> How much is that? >> I'll appreciate it. I'll get with the bail. Is she going to go to the county? >> She's going to go to the county. Yeah. But it's going to take me a couple hours to finish the paperwork. She'll call you after she gets processed. Okay. >> I appreciate you giving me that phone call. >> All right. I appreciate your cooperation. >> $10,000. >> That's not right. Okay. Thank you. >> Uh, we're not going to talk about it anymore. Talk about it to your lawyer. So, you're going to Pensacola Police Department so I can finish my report. >> And then once that's done, you'll go to Escambia County Jail. And as soon as I know your bond, I'll tell you. I promise. >> Are you guys going to put me in one of those kids? >> No, you're going to adult jail. I already told you that. >> No, I'm in high school. I'm saying >> you're 19. It doesn't matter what grade you're in. You're 19. You're an adult. >> No, I'm saying >> yes. Well, it's not some vacation. You're not just going to sit there and watch TV. You're going to be in a cell. >> Her dad found out through a police call that his daughter turned a shopping trip into a criminal record starter pack. Man probably aged 10 years in that one phone call. Meanwhile, she said she's a minor at 19. Like the cuffs don't count if you're in high school. And no, she's not going to kitty jail. She's going to a big girl lockdown with charges stacked like H&M clearance racks. She was charged with assault, battery, lararseny, resisting an officer with violence, and resisting without violence. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail, and 60 days of probation. So, in the end, if you enjoyed the video, hit that like button and drop your thoughts in the comments.
