Do you want to talk can you speak Do you Can you Can you hear him? LT? Yeah, I can hear him enough. Sir, there doesn't have to be signs. You don't own that property and you didn't have permission to be there with a vehicle. Being here, I never see any any sign of no trespassing. There's not required to be a sign. It's not a requirement. Yeah, but you know what? She stopped me for nothing. For nothing. I didn't >> You have an unauthorized motor vehicle on South Florida Water Management property. That is illegal. That's not nothing. Anyway, I hope I going to sign that I did I think I think going to cost me like $5,000. No, it's only a second degree misdemeanor. They don't go up that high. I don't want to pay for that. I don't have money for that now. Well, now you made a silly mistake of refusing to sign a citation and I know that Officer Hamann explained to you that signing is not an admission of guilt. You're just promising to appear in court when they send you the subpoena with the date on it and you didn't want to sign and you turned your hand turned your back and put your hands behind your back and said arrest me. So she did. Yeah, but what is that? >> Do you realize that we are It's not a crime. >> fully certified Hold on, let me talk for a second. Do you realize that we are fully certified law enforcement officers with all of the enforcement authority of any sheriff's deputy or police officer? Yeah, but >> think you realize that. >> I don't know I don't know if you know about that, but your real boss is the cabal. And it's the deep state. That's your real boss. And Hey Marina. Yep. Yep. Yep. I'm not We're not going down a religious discussion. >> I'm going to This is I'm going to take you off of speaker. Put it on speaker so camera can hear me. Okay. That he started talking about what? Something law of the cabal? That feels like it's a very sovereign ideology and I am not going down that rabbit hole with him. If he doesn't want to sign his ticket and he doesn't agree with it, well then he's going to have to go in front of a judge and argue it in front of a judge. >> Okay. For sure. If he sign that, that's it. If he It's too late. 10-4. And the money doesn't go to us. We're not looking for your money. We're just looking for him to follow the laws. Yeah, that's okay. Now I know. But I I never see no trespassing. It's not It doesn't need to have a sign. You need to know what areas you are going into. >> somewhere. If I If I have a land, if I don't want to be but there I I put no trespassing. >> Okay. It's It's your opinion. Um So is it going to be um refusal or >> should put no no trespassing. I already explained to you there was signs in the past, but people remove it, okay? And I we don't need There's no need to have signs. And that's it. >> I've been I've been to court on this exact same case in that exact same area and the judge ruled there does not have to be signs. You don't own the property, therefore you don't have a right to be there. If you don't own it and you don't have permission, you don't have a right to be there. You understand now? Yeah. Okay. All right, ma'am. So um fortunately it he had he's going to be arrested, okay? The thing is with us if he he has to he has to sign. And I was still explaining to him with the signature is not an admission of guilt. It's just saying you're going to appear at the court date whenever it gets sent. >> I know, but it's too late. Okay? He's already been arrested. It's already It's already done. He's going to go to jail. He's going to go to the Broward County Sheriff Broward main court. Okay, I'll I'll I'll give you the the address. Hold on. And he's being charged Well, actually I don't know yet. Hold on. Broward Sheriff's main jail. Okay. The address is 555. It It It literally went from something very minimal that could have been a conversation to something very escalated that it didn't it didn't need to go there. I don't know if you could talk to him later, but it didn't have to go there, okay? >> Okay. Because if you cannot make him sign. Well, I can't make him sign. I was telling him it signing is not saying that he's guilty. He He has to go to court, okay? And >> Yeah, but they don't see the date. Yeah, it's it's to be announced. It goes to the It goes to the address. This address on his ID, which I have over there. >> yeah, you got it. Okay. In the end, 64-year-old Bertrand was charged with resisting or interfering with a wildlife officer and a water restriction violation. After an initial plea of not guilty, he played no contest to both charges. His adjudication was withheld and he was ordered to pay $323 in cost and fees.
