On August 21st, 2024, an officer with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office was on patrol when he observed divers without a flag. The officer made contact with a couple and began a resource inspection. The problem is that you guys the totality of of the mistakes you've made today is, you know, you're over the limit. You got little baby lobster, you have no measuring device, you got no flag on your when you're diving, it's a it's a big totality. So even though we're close to the docks, you still got to have a flag in the it's it's called having a flag in the water while harvesting your watering your flag. So cuz any you get a homeowner of the house comes in flying makes you into chum which has happened two times already this year. Yes sir. Uh we can't we we're helping so we can't do anything for your family against them for one year. You don't have your flag keeps us three 300 ft away from you. Okay. I have a ball that has quiet. In the end, Jeanie was charged with 11 counts of possession of undersized crawfish, one count of possession of six or more lobster, and failure to have a measuring device. Thomas was charged with eight counts of possession of undersized crawfish, one count of possession of six or more lobster and failure to have a measuring device.
