Officers with the Missouri Department of Conservation were on patrol when they observed two anglers attempting to snag paddlefish while already having their limit. How's it going? It's >> good. You can show up to this court date, May 20th, 9:00 a.m. Benton County, Warsaw here. Okay. You can call this phone number here and get a different court date if this one doesn't work for you. or I'm going to give you a uh blue sheet of paper here that will give you instructions on how to take care of it online before this court date. If you do that, that's all you got to do. Okay? Does that make sense? >> Oh, so I just have to come to court. >> You don't have to if you don't want to. Okay. So in about 2 or 3 weeks, go online with this sheet of paper here that's going to give you instructions on how to look it up. Okay. Use that and this ticket with your name to look it up. Okay? If you have questions, just call that phone number, okay? And they'll help you. >> As long as you guys do that. And uh just make sure only one pull in the water for how many people have fished less. You'll be good to go. Okay. There's your uh driver's license and your permit back. Employer really won't care as long as you're honest if they bring it up. I've had a citation before I was an officer and I said, "Hey, I had expired registration when I was 19 and I'm an officer. So >> you'll be good to go. this. >> All righty. We'll be safe. >> In the end, Maxim was charged with attempting to take or possess over the legal limit of paddlefish. He has pled not guilty and has a bench trial scheduled for later this year. Russ received the same charge, plead guilty, and was ordered to pay $200 in fines and costs, which he later paid.
