So >> yeah, they were like they were saying you need, you know what I'm saying? Free though. So a >> I got you. >> Um [snorts] I got to have some short fish. Let's uh let me see if I can get better measure stick. See if we can measure them a little bit better. Um, you want to bring them back to the truck there. I mean, it is what it is, man. Got some short fish. They got to They got to be legal size for you to keep them, you know. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> So, um, yeah. Let's Let's bring the bring the cooler back and >> try to get a better better measurement. All right. Yeah. If we were close to truck, I'd say keep fishing, but it's kind of far. So, >> Huh? >> I said if you're close to the truck, I'd say just keep fishing. But we're kind of far. So, >> give that to you, bro. >> What's that? >> I don't know, man. You got Have you ever had any issues with us before? >> Not with no illegal fish, man. >> Okay. I am. I just got a light jacket. >> Yeah, >> I got >> All right, sweetie. You about ready? And then I just need to see her ID, driver's license or something. >> Have y'all ever had a fishing license before? >> I did one time. I think that's fair. >> Okay. I I can check. Do you have your ID, driver's license, anything with you? >> I mean, you don't got to, man. >> What's that? >> I mean, you don't got to do, man. >> Not many. >> Not many. >> You got You got like a 40 you try to reach. >> Nope. just >> No, we just we just check fishing licenses and >> that's that's you know small part of our our duties but you get you know get people taking over the bag limit and did you know that there size limits bag limits on on fish? >> I did but not them. I didn't think I consider those like >> most of the saltwater stuff other than like mullet and like lady fish and stuff like that. But >> that red drum >> what the bag limit is on grouper bag limit is five a person. >> Okay. >> So y'all are good on bagging limit just size limit. They're too small. Yeah. >> Couple of you know a little too small there. So just give me one second. All right. All right. So, we got one 13 12 little over 13 about 12. All right. Some of the other ones look pretty big. Some make it. Yep. That's good. 12. That one's going to make it. Yeah, that's good. 11 and 12. That was baby one. So, we got six. Yeah, these men. If you want to load up, you can load those ones up, right? Wipe my hands off. Some of them are alive. So, he's going to try to get some of them back back in the water. >> What's that? >> What's the cost? >> It's not a It's not like a set charge, but it's it's >> I don't know. It's definitely less than $500. >> Um >> I can't I can't give you a definitive what it's going to be. >> I was asking that in the first time. So I was trying to see what they and they take all that into account too. That's your first time. So >> So right here, like I said, the the actual violation, it's the administrative code is right there. So they may not harvest possess black drum less than 14 in or greater than 24 in total length. All right. And then she's got six undersized black drum. There's the court date. It's April 10th at 9:00. There's the phone number. And And I wrote it down in there. >> I thought I said that the mini the amount didn't count. >> Yeah. There's no there's no amount on here. Oh. Oh. Like I said, I'm just document. It's still one charge. So, I'm not like charging you for like six different things. It's just one charge for the undersized fish. It's the same charge if you had one fish versus six fish. >> See what I'm saying? >> Yeah. I I mean, is there no way that documented though? I just want to be, you know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. So, like there's charge. So, there's only one charge here. If I charge you for each individual fish, there'd be six six of these little blocks in there. If I charge you with different things that would show up here. All that is is just how many you had. That that's all it is. >> All right. >> So, they'll they'll ask like, well, how many fish did he have that were on your size? I'm just six. That's it. So, that's why the documented there. Um, yeah. Court date. Let me get your phone number one more time. Make sure it's right. >> 850. >> So, that's your copy there. All right. Means you sign this one. It's not admission of guilt. It's just saying that you will show up on that date or if they tell you to do something else that you'll you'll go by that. All right. >> How that work, man? If they tell them to do something else, who who is they like >> to the state attorney or the clerk's office? >> Call them or something? >> Yeah. They'll have your phone number. If they call you, if they don't call you, I would give them a call um before before April 10th. If you don't hear anything back from them, you don't get anything in the mail or get get a phone call from them, give them a call. Um if you want, you can do it in about two weeks and just do it. and then, you know, see what they have have for you. Like I said, sign of this is not an admission of guilt. It's just saying that you're going to show up on that date. They say um answer the offense that's charged. >> Yeah. So that's the offense that's charged. All right. You got your code? You got your copy there? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay. Do you have any other questions for me, man? >> No, that's okay. All right. >> Yo, I got your >> Yeah, you got your license. >> All right. All right. >> All right. Y'all be careful. >> Black drum have a legal slot limit of 14 to 24 in. And the officer measured five fish ranging from 11 1/2 in to 13 and 3/4 in.
