On February 4th, 2025, first responders of Valuchia County responded to reports of a boat spinning in circles on a lake with an unconscious person on board. Uh there's like a couple of parking spots back there, but yeah, I don't think there's a [Music] Where's your guys? [Music] I'm kind of curious as to why it's like bogging and then it goes and then it bogs. It looks like there's looks like there's water. It's like [Music] we're trying to see if we got access over there. Okay. Where's your guys' closest boat? Uh, it's coming from Daytona. Oh yeah. Both units on a freaking BLS medical call and they can't get Oh, do you guys have a uh have a drone up? No. No. [Music] I just got off the phone with the lieutenant from squad 35. Looks like central broke them free. They're had calling ahead of them. Copy that. Keep them coming. On scene. They're advising. Is that like private property down there? It's No, it's not. It's not private property, but it's unless if we can I mean, it'd be kind of tough to get a you know, you don't you don't want to really walk into like somebody else's boat. They said they said they said that it looks like there's one person on board underneath the steering wheel. That's what they said. said they said I don't know if you saw the call notes but I swear to God there's somebody in that boat. Yeah, it said he said that per the call notes it said that there was somebody on on there was one person on board but it was they were tucked up underneath like the steering [Music] wheel one alpha 22 central Florida tag I'm sorry sir it's going to be an Illinois tag Were you guys on that boat? There's somebody on it. Not us. There's somebody on it. Yeah, it looks like it. Yeah. Just signal 14. There is someone in the boat laying down. Looks like they're unconscious. It's still doing circles right next to the shore. They just Oh, you guys steering wheel. You can't straighten it out. His hand is only doing notice. Maybe he doesn't realize. Hello. Hey. [Music] Hey, sir. [Music] crashing over here. Hey, see like he's moving so like jerks almost [Music] that motor is probably getting close to to bottoming out too. As shallow as it gets toward the shore. I He probably fell on his head. He's down in there now. Hey, pretty close to me. Just camping way over here. [Music] You want me to help the river unit? We don't have a Huh? You want me to help the river unit? What? Like when they launch to get the boat? Yeah. Help the river unit. Them gators ain't going to bother you. Them gators ain't going to bother you. [Music] I'd rather swim with an alligator than swim with a shark. Oh god. I'm sorry. Yeah, there's there's a kill switch. There's a kill switch usually right next to me. So at this point somebody looks like his foot was moving. His foot was moving. I thought his foot was moving though. Oh the moving for him. So I'm wondering would it be better for us to take it and drive it back to shore or just carry him out through here? Like I guess it would depend on how the Yeah. Say how mobile the boat is. If it's if we're able to get it, it'll be quicker just to get the boat back. That's what I was thinking. Cuz otherwise we got to carry him through all this all this stuff. That's kind of what I was getting at. It might be faster. Say if you you can get maybe one of us to drive it. You can get one of you guys to kind of start us. They're coming from the boat barn. Be about the same when we get here. They're coming code now. So good. We should have a straight shot down. He's uh he looks like he's about to hit the shoreline. I don't know. I'm wondering like when it when he'll bottom out. Hey, we tried calling to him. He like moves a little bit but it's not he's on the floor. Yeah, he's laid out. We try to call him to him. He like shimies a little bit [Music] but he's moving a little bit. Well, I'm talking about in the boat. In the boat. He's moving. He just moved his leg. He's moving. Oh, you did? Yeah. He just lifted his leg and put it back up on the steering wheel. Um, he's on the boat. Boat's slowly veering towards the shoreline. Do we have a boat? It's on his way. Okay. Just like about how long. He's taking his arm up now. Would you rather go on the beach on the boat now? Cuz I don't care. I'll jump on the [ __ ] boat and I'll go out there and jump over it. Yeah. Well, that's what we're waiting for. Our boat here. We'll be doing that. All right. We'll see who shows up on your end. All right. The one day Blaine's not working. She's like, "I'm not going to it. Darn it. His head is underneath. I can't see his face at all, but his right arm is [Music] moving. Looks like he looks like he now. He's moving out. Yeah, that's what I was saying. I saw you cuz he was like tense between the side of that boat, but he's definitely trying to move around. [Music] Yeah, it's a shame there's not another boater out here. We Yeah, this is probably the first time I've been over this way and there multiple boats here on any given day. It's too warm. Fish fishing by [Music] Would I be wrong if I asked those people that just drove in? See if you guys can one. All right, cool. I'll go ask them. by it. Don't fly by it. [Music] And I'm seeing basket. Hey, sir. Hey, man. Um, no, I don't need your stuff. Uh, listen. Uh, we got a medical emergency out there. Can we use that? Can we use your boat? How about I tell you? Yeah. I appreciate you. You launched it. All right. It's just doing circles and it won't get clay. He was out here and it started working its way in. As soon as the lower unit started hitting ground, it stopped going closer to shore. Is it a center console or a aluminum fishing boat? Aluminum boat. Console. Like a bass boat. Aluminum bass boat. It's like a tiller handle, is it? No. No. No. No, it's real quick. That'll be It's like a [Music] London 11 now. Yeah, I heard this come out. I'm like, "Yeah, let the SO Medina, use ours. [Music] Can I go with him? Uh, if you need somebody, I don't care. [Music] [Music] Pat, you want a fire guy to go with you? Probably at least one fire and then I'll grab a different PF. I'll double You got one. Is this an inflatable? Oh, you have a [Music] non-infl. Yeah, Brody's probably coming. Back [Music] off. All right, let's go stop him. Matt, once we get a stop, bring it back here. Do we have any ropes on here? Yes. Yeah, we got a rope. Can you bring those fenders in here a second? Want to try to hook it or pull up the side? I I'll be honest with you. I think the better thing is going to be just to push it into the shore. If you can get into it and push it into the shore, I think you'll be better off. Good thing is he was waving his hands and moving around. So maybe he's just falling. He can't get up. Well, in a second I will. Yes. Cuz what I'm going to try and do is go along the outside of him. All right. Yeah. Go ahead. All right, I need everybody to hold on cuz I'm going to do a circle around to his to the outside of him. I'm at 5 and 1/2 ftish. Hold on. just Hey, see if we can get it with the hook. All right, just pushing him into the shore. Well, the I don't know if I'm going to be able to correct his steering cuz it's so hard cranked over, but give me a second and I'll try. The only I mean, we got that other big log right there on the PFD. So, we put him in the water. We got the top down. We got to give it a quick effort. Can you get on the inside of them? But it's going to be tight. I'm okay with you. Put them on the inside. Step out. Hold on. Hold on. He's just turning you. All right, hold [Music] on. There. He's going to go here in a second. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] may have it once we get up. Take your top of the road. That should do it. Come on. Get up there. Yeah. I don't [Music] know. Get it. Get it. Get it. Get this. Hit three. He said he was moved one more time. Hey, the next time he comes up around here, just go ahead and force it into the woods. Let him go around again. And as he comes around, let's just come up next to him and push him up to that tree. Heat. Heat. Hey, just in case Hey, in case that boat leaving, we'll transfer it. Yeah, here. We're going to take him by boat back over there. I'm good. You hear me? Hey, just in case. Hey, in case that boat can't leave it, we'll transfer it. Yeah.
