In the end, the suspect was charged with harvesting oysters from the Apalachicola Bay system, interference with an FWC officer, harvesting from a prohibited area, and taking or possessing on cold oysters. He also received citations for fishing without a license and not having a personal flotation device on his vessel. After failing to appear to his court hearing, a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was later taken into custody and received an additional charge for resisting or obstructing without violence. Through a negotiated plea deal, the state agreed to drop the oyster charges and he pled no contest for the resisting charge. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 24 days served. He was also ordered to pay $450 in costs and fines, which remain entirely unpaid. For the two citations he received, he was ordered to pay $72 for the fishing citation and $140 for the PFD violation. Both citations remain entirely unpaid. If you like this video and want to see more like it, subscribe to Arrest Cam. As always, thanks for watching. >> [music]
