An officer with Florida Fish and Wildlife was on patrol along the Appalache Cola Bay when he observed two individuals on a vessel throwing a cast net. When they returned to shore, the officer made contact to conduct a resource inspection. >> Recording. Hey, I need to look at that measurement. We'll see. >> In the end, Steven was charged with being in possession of undersized oysters and oystering in a closed area. He pled no contest and was adjudicated guilty of both charges. He was sentenced to 6 months of probation and ordered to pay $475. Steven paid $300 in fines, but failed to pay the remaining balance, violating his probation.
